• Janice (10/5): Hanging Garden-Corniglia - Incredible location for the view, access to hiking, proximity of local restaurants, and stairs to train, with bus ride available at train station if you don’t want to climb the steps back up. • Michael (10/5): - Die Unterkunft liegt am Dorfrand von Corniglia und liegt somit ideal für Ausflüge und Wanderungen in die umliegenden Dörfer. Die Wohnung ist bestens ausgestattet und war sehr sauber. Die Kommunikation mit der Eigentümerin Paola hat bestens geklappt. Wir erhielten vor unserer Ankunft alle wichtigen Details zur Wohnung und zum Parkplatz vor dem Haus! Die Aussicht aufs Meer war atemberaubend…Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in Corniglia
• HAMZA (10/5): Logement bien placé et très pratique - Une semaine magnifique aux cinque terres. Le logement est très bien situé et très pratique. Le parking payant est vraiment sur la propriété. Paola a été très disponible et à répondu à toutes nous demandes avant, pendant et après le voyage. On recommande sans hésitation !

Macchinetta del caffè con cialde, bustine di té, acqua e altro a disposizione degli ospiti. A due passi dal paese e dalla scalinata che scende al treno. La proprietaria sig.ra Paola si è premurata di inviare in anticipo tutte le informazioni utili per usufruire al meglio del soggiorno in loco. Molto silenzioso. Consigliato per visitare gli altri 4 paesi senza soffrire dell'affollamento degli altri.

• Deirdre (10/5): Excellent stay - We really enjoyed staying at Gabriel’s place! The 2 bedroom apartment was a great size and had everything we needed to prepare meals, and the washer allowed us to do some much needed laundry. We loved the town of Corniglia, it was far less congested than the other towns but still had great dining options. The hiking out of Corniglia was fantastic too! Would definitely recommend staying here.
• Stefanie (10/5): Wonderful accommodations - The owner was so wonderful. He made sure we knew exactly how to reach the apartment and checked to make sure we had made it and that all was well. The views were spectacular and the apartment perfect including a full kitchen. In town we had a great breakfast and lunch at cafe Matteo.
• richard (10/5): Absolutely Amazing! - This place was absolutely amazing! This was our first time staying in Cinque Terre, and we loved every minute of it. Corniglia might be the smallest of the towns here, but we thought the restaurants and amenities were great and we liked coming back to our little oasis after the craziness of the other towns during the day. The apartment itself was probably the newest and most modern that we stayed at in Italy. Immaculately clean and comfortable and spacious, it was a true pleasure to wake up here with the view of the sea, and then come back at night with the moonlight shining on the water. It was just a great little spot, from the comfort of the apartment, to the amazing view, from which you can see all the way to Manarola. Our hosts were always quick to get back to us if we needed anything and the apartment was just perfect. It was about a ten minute walk from the train station (we never took the shuttle) and then just a few minutes walk into town. We liked that it was central too, so one day we hiked north to Vernazza and Monterosso, and then the next we took the train south to Riomaggiore, before working our way back through Manarola. We would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone staying in the Cinque Terre!

• Kathryn (10/5): Quiet place in Cinque Terre. - We loved our stay here in Corniglia. The apartment was clean and spacious with a lovely view, and very quiet. Great location to explore the area to the north and south. Easy walk ~ 5 minutes into the old town for many excellent and reasonably priced restaurants and small stores. From the train it is about 15-20 minute walk up hill, there is a shuttle which is often crowded, so we opted To Walk all but the day of departure with our luggage. We like being away from the crowds so this was perfect. Owner was easy to reach and very attentive to any questions or requests we had. Will definitely recommend this as a great place to stay and will return here again!!!!!!
• Pietro (10/5): - If you are going to Cinque Terre, this is a great place to be. Its a quit town when you want to rest and a quick walk to the train station. It was clean and very comfortable. The town of Corniglia was nice. Many places to eat and not as crowded as the other cities. They were also able to get us parking for our car.

Even with no air conditioning there was very good air circulation. The bedroom was bright but the rest of the apartment was somewhat darker. • Verified traveler (10/5): - Did 9 days in Italy with stays in Milan, here, Rome, and Venice - this was by far the BEST stay of our vacation. Even before we got back from our vacation we were regretting not booking a longer stay here. Clean, spacious, and well kept apartment with beautiful views from the windows onto the coast and waters. Property owners were very responsive over email and provided us with all the information we needed to enjoy our stay in Cinque Terre.

They provided terrific information on the area and were easily reached with the smallest questions... their property is beautifully updated without loosing the old world feel of the region... the best of both worlds!
• Michael (10/5): Quiet, private and very clean apartment - We stayed in the 2 bedroom unit of this property. Great privacy, it is located inside a private courtyard, very quiet and clean. There is an upstairs terrace with table and nice views, we enjoyed dining here. Unit was quite spacious, beds very comfortable and kitchen brand new and extremely functional for our needs. Owner was very helpful gave us many tips, recommendations and precise directions on how to reach property (very easy in the end).
• Louis (6/5): Corniglia Apartment - This unit was not quite what we were expecting. There are 2 available, one with a sea view (deluxe) and one with no view at all - not even a partial sea view (2 bedroom apartment). If the sea view unit is not available, it is impossible to tell from the reviews that one is not actually booking the correct unit. We had read all the reviews highlighting glorious ocean views and were quite disappointed to be looking at 4 white walls! Our 2 bedroom unit however, was comfortable and clean, with working wi-fi and a hot shower. There was also a kitchen, washing machine and a sleeping sofa, making the unit quite suitable for families and longer stays. This unit is in Corniglia (not Vernazza as listed). The hike from the station along the road is taxing (but not terrible), the stairs quite strenuous, and there is a shuttle bus that is included in the daily Cinque Terre pass. There is also a separate 50 Euro cleaning fee and a 15 Euro utility fee that are added to each booking. Lorenzo is very informative and helpful.
• John (10/5): - Unique, this place stood sentinel over a terraced hillside with panoramic vistas of land and sea. We had special needs. A professional staff responded promptly to our special requests. Far from the tourist throngs of Vernazza, this place offers a 5 minute walk to grocery store, pharmacy, and restaurants: we had fresh impeccable antipasti de mare and pasta de mare at Cantina de Mananan, and Ligurian pesto and a crispy grilled sea bass outdoors at Terra Rossa. A bus outside the door, and alternatively, a stone staircase, leads to the train station and access to Monterosso, Vernazza and the rest of Italy. We hiked the coastal trail North and stopped halfway at a hillside bar to enjoy a frozen granita of Ligurian lemons. The quite ambiance of Corniglia is superior to the other towns and I found myself recalling memories of past vacations wandering warm nights in Guatemala, Southern California, Africa, Mexico and the Carribean. This is a two room suite in a new residential building with kitchen, good Internet and a washing machine. The place helped us enjoy our visit because it was clearly better than the other options we were seeing in Cinque Terre, and we were very happy to be there.
• Jeff (10/5): - Waking up every morning to the view of the Ligurian sea was just fabulous. The bed was super comfortable and huge! All in all we had an excellent 2 weeks in Corniglia and the Hanging Garden made the perfect base.
• Disappointed (6/5): - The property has no view and the only air flow comes from the tiny walled courtyard. The owner was not present and no one ever came to check on us and we were expected to go to a cafe to pay for the accommodations in the evening.

• Kimberly (10/5): A great property, I would gladly stay here again! - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property in Corniglia. It is apartment style, with spacious sleeping accommodations and new windows/doors so it was very quiet. It was just a short walk to the downtown shops. The property is very close to the stairs leading to the train station, there is also a shuttle that runs regularly throughout the day (get the Treno card that includes the regional train, shuttles and access to the public restrooms at the train stations if you plan on visiting multiple villages in the Cinque Terre). I would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again!

Very nice bathroom with a washing machine and a good size shower, The kitchen is small but well equipped. The bedroom is bright with a great view of the see and the next village. We talk a 12 min. walk to the train station and 5 to the main part of Corniglia.

• Hank (10/5): Great house with terrace views of the Ligurian Sea - This seaside home in the lovely village of Corniglia, the central village of Cinque Terre, was the perfect spot for rambling the seaside. It is just up the hill from the train station and is near the central trail connecting all the villages. Both are just a few minutes walk, about 10 to the train and 5 to the trail. The house was immaculate yet honey, and the owner gave very clear instructions that made checking in a breeze.

• Alex (10/5): Excellent base for hiking In Cinque Terre - Cute little village with less tourist flow than the others. Easy minibus ride back and forth to lower train station. We loved the hike to Vernazza and Manarolo with our 5&9 year olds. This is a better departure point as it's a higher village than the others:). Great gelato and good meals. The apartment was everything we needed and the owner was accommodating. Strong wifi and handy kitchen. Private enough that we didn't feel we were disturbing anyone.

Location is quiet, but only a few minutes away from the town center if that is where you want to be. The apartment has fridge, a stove top and dishes - good if you want to cook yourself.
• Wing Yat (10/5): Amazing apartment at Corniglia - We stayed 1 night at Hanging Garden as a stopover point for our hiking trip from Riomaggiore to Monterosso. I must say we had a very lovely and relaxing stay. The view from the bedroom was impeccable with one window overlooking the sea and another facing the green hills. We were told the apartment was recently renovated and it really looked so. There's a well functional washing machine and the kitchen's fully equipped, everything was working perfectly. Lorenzo was also very helpful and responsive in making sure we'd got all the information we needed for a good stay.
• Gordon (10/5): Amazing View in Beautiful Corniglia - This accommodation was great value for our money. We were a family of 4 with 15 and 17 year old sons, and we had plenty of space. The view was fantastic! We had parking on site. Lorenzo was fantastic with communicating about finding the location, where to park and how to enter the building. He answered our every inquiry promptly and kindly. The restaurants are within easy walking distance, as is the train station and beach. We arrived and immediately walked down to the beach and had a lovely swim. We returned to watch the golden sun set over the coast. After supper we walked back to our room under a star light night. It was perfect for a family travelling on a budget.
• GG (8/5): Corniglia - We had a great stay at the apartment in Corniglia. Having only stayed in Vernazza in the past, I would highly recommend Corniglia. The apartment was lovely!!! The only issues we had were with wifi and television. Normally this wouldn't be an issue but we had a 5 year old and wanted something for hm to watch on tv or Netflix. The owner was so kind to send someone over to try to rectify the problem but there was no resolve for the wifi. TV was fixed and the owners friend was there to help. Gabriel was amazing and works at a restaurant in town that we spent much time at after meeting him. I would return in a heartbeat and would stay at the apartment again. If you are worried about luggage, do not take the steps but instead, there is a shuttle from the train station the drops you off at the city center and it is a short walk down the hill to the apartment.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful!!! Amazing views! - Enjoyed our 2 night stay here. Wished it was longer. Amazing location overlooking the sea. Place has been recently remodeled. Everything was clean and the beds we're comfortable. Located on the hill in a quiet spot. Lorenzo and Gabriel were excellent! Helped us out getting checked in. Didn't use the kitchen but it looked well equipped. Bathroom has a nice shower and washing machine. Would definitely stay here again.
• Diane (10/5): The Perfect Cinque Terre Accommodations - My husband and I took a chance booking an apartment for our first trip to Cinque Terre, and were absolutely thrilled with it. The apartment was spacious and had all conveniences, plus a bonus of an upper deck with a beautiful view. Lorenzo was communicative with us before and during our stay and was extremely helpful with directions and travel tips. Corniglia is quiet and peaceful and the perfect place to end a day of hiking and sightseeing.
• Matias (10/5): Excellent and affordable stay in the Cinque Terre - Very nice and renovated house in the heart of the Cinque Terre. Bed was very comfortable. Management promptly responded to all my questions. Corniglia is adorable, small and picturesque. It's the middle village so perfect for exploring the area.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Nice Place - Not the best location - Lorenzo and Gabriel were very helpful and would respond to any email quite fast! They sent plenty of information about how to arrive in the city via train, bus, etc. We made the mistake of taking the stairs from the train station as the shuttle doesnt run late at night. This took us almost an hour with our bags so we would suggest taking the road or arriving when the shuttle is still running. Although the address says Vernazza, the title says Corniglia. Do not be mistaken this is in Corniglia which is tiny compared to the other villages. We woke up for breakfast and nothing was open we ended up grabbing something at the one place open (a bar) and headed out to Riomaggiore for a proper meal. We were asked by Gabriel to be out of the room by 10am. Also be sure you understand the fees for this location as we didnt check that and you are expected to pay an additional 60 Euro for the cleaning fee (even if you only stay one night!)
• Jennifer (8/5): Peaceful location - Not a luxury apartment, but very comfortable and in a very good location, close (5 mins walk) to the village of Corniglia yet far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. The simple accommodation included a bedroom, open plan lounge and kitchen with some sort of sofa bed, which was very comfortable. Bathroom is very small, especially the shower. Guests in the main bedroom need to go through lounge/kitchen area to bathroom. This might disturb guests sleeping in the lounge, but we were fine. There is a small terrace up a flight of steps. Lovely for relaxing, drying clothes etc. Well equipped with crockery, cutlery etc. It had all we needed. The apartment was ideal for us, and we soon realised that this was probably superior to other accommodation available in the Cinque Terre.
• Satsuma (8/5): Quiet location in the touristy Cinque Terre - This town is a getaway from the otherwise tourist over-run Cinque Terre towns. Although it is a hike up from the train station, it is worth it. From this location one can easily get to the "upper" hiking trains including Volostra and on from there and the walks are highly recommended, especially the vineyard walk from Volostra to Manarola. The owner was not available but his surrogate who works in town at a nice little cafe was helpful. Owner responsive by email though. Although simple, the accomodation was clean and well maintained,

• Guillaume (10/5): Simply Perfect - This apartment is a dream come true in the middle of the Cinque Terre. It is is the central village, the most quiet and authentic. The owner provides an enormous amount of information before your arrival, so you feel right at home and ready to explore this magnificent region. The restaurant recommendation was amazing as well. My only regret is that i could not stay longer!

The apartment is in a very central location just up from the square and train station. The bedroom and living areas are quite large and the roof top terrace is a nice place to chill. The bathroom and kitchen are both quite small but functional.

We loved the courtyard for dining and enjoyed the view of vineyards on the hillside from the upper terrace. Beds were comfy and we would return. Lorenzo was quick to respond to any queries. Would recommend it highly. Lovely place!
