• Donna (4/5): Never again - Nothing We was surprised to find not many choices on the evening menu, there was always 1 or 2 options not available, and also arrived on a Sunday to be told hotel does not serve food on a Sunday. Also the bar we was again surprised it did not stock the most common wine to buy Pinot. And we could not understand why the bar menu was only available till 5pm, when that had actually better choices on then the main menu. What not stay again or recommend.
• Andreea (10/5): - The rooms were great(we had few rooms booked for our wedding) The staff was amazing, special thanks to Elena in reservation, Elias (Eliott) and Tom from reception and the lady at the bar (sorry, forgot her name) The coffee brought to our rooms while we were getting ready made the day. Just positive vibes all over and nothing seemed impossible for the hotel team. The water in the shower was a bit challenging and the water pressure in our room was a bit low, but this was a small inconvenience compared to the overall.

• Steven (8/5): Excellent stay which is clean and comfortable. - Room was clean and the bed was comfortable, Also plenty of surfaces for laptop if you intend to work. Staff are pleasant and helpful and always willing to find out any questions asked. Food is limited in the restaurant, not much choice or healthy options.

Noise - especially Saturday & Sunday when there were functions only lots of shouting etc. Also room backed onto to where deliveries were made so six o’clock in the morning woken by noise of mainly food I think being delivered.

• Stacey (8/5): Best western Reading - The rooms were very spacious. The dining room and bar areas have plenty of seating. There was a great selection of breakfast food and beverages. There were functions on, in the other room, when meant we had some good music while in the bar in the evenings Unfortunately our two rooms were on different floors. There was not much headroom in the shower, over the bath, in the twin room. Some of the music and guests on the Sundays function were very loud and it made it difficult to relax in the bar.
• Vicky (8/5): Met my needs and nice staff. - Friendly and helpful staff, good food. Free and easy to connect to wifi, free and plentiful parking. It would be good if room service was available at the hotel. I Had twin bed room rather than a double bed, but that could have been due to an error somehow on my part. Not sure. The place was clean and in good order, but it is a bit faded/dated. It could do with a modern refresh.

• Teri (10/5): I would certainly stay again. - My arrival as I entered the Hotel especially the greeting I received from Sarah who was on reception, so very friendly and nothing was to much trouble. Good selection of food, very tasty. Yvonne the waitress was absolutely fantastic she didn’t stop such an asset to the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel you won’t be disappointed. I didn’t find anything.

• Cassidy (5/5): Was decent enough would recommend others. - Was a okay experience for a singular night. Wouldn't spend more than one there. Breakfast horrible as I think the lack of people of this place meant they overcooked portion and none of it was really hot. The restaurant door to the beer garden was faulty. Ended up catching my skin and cutting it when I opened it. Signed a&I for it.

Free car parking, Always a member of staff around if needed. We paid bit extra for breakfast which was well worth it! Excellent. Bed good and we both slept very well. Enjoyed good shower, easy temperature control and strong flow. Very small niggle: soap dispensers in bathroom empty

Not a lot of choice on full English, only croissants offered as pastries, I couldn't find any honey/jam, husband then informed me that it was over the other side of the room next to the toaster! Maybe some could be put on the table by the croissants. No 7am fire alarm call..... No Sockets by the bedside tables, maybe have some usb sockets too, as almost everyone charges their phones/tablets.

• Loretta (7/5): - I love staying here, rooms and staff are great, Normally i dont get disturbed by a fuction but this time i could hear all the music right up till finish , all the noise in the reception from the party goers, ( I went and closed the door by the stairs to block it out)then when the function finished those who where staying made loads of noise going to there rooms and slammed there doors , i finally got to sleep at 3.30am. I know its not the hotel fault in fuĺl but poss could do something to help when they heading to rooms to keep them quiet to be more respectful to other residents

Hot breakfast was cooked to order on the 2nd and 3rd morning as it was so quiet which was great , no rubbery fried eggs or dried up bacon which I experienced on the 1st morning. The bedroom furnishing were very dated but the mattress and pillows were very comfortable. In the bathroom the cleanliness of the toilet was poor. A good limescale remover around the rim might help.
