Did not like the fact that when you come back in early evening, the reception staff are all lying down on their mobiles.. when you arrive they get up for you but its not what you expect. If they sorted this out and put reception staff in a uniform then i think this would help. Apart from this we enjoyed the stay here.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Schöne Anlage, wenig Komfort - Insgesamt handelt es sich um eine schöne Anlage. Der Pool ist wirklich super und das Personal an der Rezeption sehr freundlich. Große Minuspunkte hingehen waren neben der extrem harten Matratze jedoch auch zahlreiche krabbelnde Mitbewohner im Badezimmer und der Service - nach der 1. Nacht klopfte man uns um 06:50 Uhr (!) wach, um uns das Frühstück zu überreichen. Am zweiten Tag das gleiche um 08:00 Uhr, nur um uns auf das Buffet aufmerksam zu machen.

There are no soap and when I asked the staff couldn’t speak english and he refused to give. However at the end of the day he gave some soap and extra shampoo.. Wasn’t the best experience for the price. Price wasn’t bad but basically pattaya hotels were much better for this price. Moreover, there’s nothing to do at night in Ko Lan! It’s a good place to go one day trip and comeback unless you don’t wanna miss pattaya late night fun activities

Bra AC, Ok basseng og gratis frukost. Perfekt for mitt opphold som var 2 netter der fokuset var å være mest mulig ute ved strendene samtidig som AC og basseng var krav.

• Emil (6/5): Bra läge och ok pool, rummen var sådär. - Trevlig personal. Inte så rent, var kackerlacka på första rummet så vi fick byta direkt mycket trevliga. Tror problemet är att man får maten på rummet som inte var någon höjdare. Skulle vara mycket bättre om dom hade frukost buffé alla mornar.

Хороший бассейн. Полотенец маловато, всего два. Не хватает у полотенец запаха чистоты. Постельное белье хорошее. Кровати удобные. Правильно писали гости, что отель любят китайские гости. Тогда шума-...! На рецепшене - приятный молодой человек, заселение быстрое. Недалеко вечерний рынок. На пляж - только на тук-туках!
• russellandann (6/5): 'good location' - we picked this hotel for the location and the pool(as it is the only one on the island)the place is clean and well presented, we picked a deluxe sea view which was good value although the sea view was tongue in cheek, hundreds of roof tops before the sea was in sight,the staff were pleasant and sheets/towels changed daily, the breakfast( or free breakfast as they term it) is dreadful,cold fried eggs and chicken sausage ,bacon and exactly the same everyday delivered to your room on weekdays( be careful to pick your time otherwise it will arrive at 7.30)

Dont go to this hotle, when they damage your Things and dont compensate

• Noon Kwankaow (8/5): Second time stay here - Good and clean hotel in Koh Lan with reasonable price. Room is in good condition. Only thing is we called to check if we can get double bed and they said yes. However we ended up getting twin beds upon check in.

• nunelaksika (4/5): We can find better place at this price - This's my 3rd time visiting Koh Larn. There are lots of ants in my room. When it was raining, my room was wet with plenty of rain splatter. The room was dusty and there is sand around the floor like it's never been cleaned before. The room safety was quite poor because there was only a doorknob for protecting. Besides, my room is located on the 2nd floor. At night, it's too dangerous to walk along very steep step without any light. For the room facilities and equipment, the shower was broken making water ran out through the shower all night. It makes me feel like someone was taking a shower all the time. Moreover, the blanket was smelly. About breakfast, it's not good and not various. There are white bread serving with jam (no butter), fried rice without any meat, fried egg, oily fried instant noodle without any meat, poor quality bacon, and milk. Furthermore, the building doesn't look similar to the Agoda photos. Thus, we could find the better place to stay with this price.

• Dean (8/5): Nice place, a little over priced and needs repair - On first impressions it’s a nice place with a nice pool and friendly staff but everything needs repair. In the room the bed was so uncomfortable and there were holes in the ceiling. In the bathroom the tap, sink & pipes were all loose and leaking. Everything below eye level was clean and dusted, everything above eye level hadn’t been dusted in months, even big cobwebs in the corners. The pool was lovely but with loads of tiles falling off in the shallow end. The breakfast was not great with cold fried eggs.

• Jordan (10/5): A+++ would highly recommend - Stayed here for four nights family of three. Booked online prior to arrival, checking in went smoothly no issues. Pool looks alot bigger in the photo but does the job my daughter loved it. Rooms are clean and tidy, at no point did we feel uncomfortable. Breakfast could be doing with an upgrade, basic stuff on offer bread jam marmalade, noodles mixed with veg, fried eggs, sausages, watermelon and pinapple. A selection of beverages on offer but no cereals but easy enough to buy from 7/11 which is a 2 min walk along the road. As I was writing this we had our breakfast unexpectedly room serviced which was a pleasant surprise as we where the only guests at the hotel. Overall I would highly recommend the Bee Orchid and would be happy to stay on future visits

• DanaYMama (10/5): The BEST i tried so far - In koh larn this is the best to sum up everything you need if you stay for a night. for the price you get you can sleep soundly,nice view ,friendly staff,secured and the location is just accessible to the nearest 7/11, and pier but if you want to go to the beaches its either you rent a bike or ride a sueng tew. The bed is not as soft as you can imagine but yeah i did sleep sound, my room have a valcony and a pool view, clean hotel that is the most important aspect i consider.

Remember that koh lan is not as developed as other posh islands in thailand, which is good in my opinion, this little place is quite decent. Purpose of koh lan is to enjoy the beach and all, so the rooms at this place serve their purposes well. clean and ok. dont expect posh surrounding and amenities. Lastly, enjoy the dogs' barking at night. Seems like happening stuff are going on always past midnight.

• Kwankaow (10/5): Nice hotel close the pier and easy to go around - Clean hotel near the pier and not far from the beach. Good restaurants and shops are walkable with 5-10 mins. Hotel staff is great as we arrived the pier at night and the offer the free drive to hotel directly. Room is clean but no warm water in my room, which is ok during summer and Thai weather. Breakfast is ok, normal toast and fried rice and noodle.

Saarella kätevintä on kierrellä skootterin kanssa ja niitä on halpa vuokrata satamasta. Hieno saari kannattaa käydä huolella läpi. Hotelli oli oikein mukava tähän lyhyeen majoittumiseen.

Walking distance to village center. 3 minutes. Nice and quiet Island near Pattaya. Only small buses and moped on this Island. Very good beaches.
• price826 (10/5): Great little resort - Bee Orchid is a nice quiet getaway for your weekend retreat on Koh Larn. I prefer the small villa style rooms, B6-10 are my favorites. They will serve you a nice breakfast on the balcony which is included in your stay and a motor bike comes with your room if you book directly with the resort. The rooms are clean, the staff is great; I really do love this place. Say hello to papa if you decide to stay!!!
• kee (8/5): Comfortable hotel to relax - I rest this here for the first time but impressive.Because the locatio is good near the habour and easy to go to another place around the island. Easy to find a good food near the temple and hotel has a service about rent the motorbike. The oficcers are a good service.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Not a good experience - Check in was appalling. There was no record passed on once booked through Expedia. Make sure that you take a copy of your booking reservation. They are incapable of the flexibility required to operate without you providing everything for them ! The bedding was stained. It looked like it had been cleaned but the bedding just needed burning. The room was very jaded and would barely achieve a single star in any western review. The breakfast was processed sausage/some sort of meet, cold friend eggs and some salad. The fruit juice was barely discernible as fruit but more a rusty coloured anti-freeze. Awful. The walls are paper thin. we left after one night of 2 booked and if I could have left sooner I would, That said it looks like one of the bteer places on the island !

Our bed was very hard and lumpy and not a lot of sleep. Shop around i am sure you can find better, but the location and pool are a bonus. Wifi is very poor

• jasondR6941AW (6/5): Its got airconditioning. - You have to remember its a 3 star Hotel/ motel. The room was small the bathroom even smaller. I had already read about the breakfast so I was prepare for the early morning bashing of the sliding and I got it at around 07:15, exactly what you want on your holiday. Anyway we put it aside as we weren’t Hungary at that particular moment and opted for something else later on outside. The room had a very terrible smell to it and stay the entire time we were there. We were late to check out and the manager didn’t make us pay, as I was expecting to have to pay for another night’s stay. So there’s a positive.

• Jose (10/5): One Night in Koh Larn - We stayed the night in Pattaya but then decided to spend a night in Koh Larn. The beaches are much more clean. The Orchid Bee is the gem of Koh Larn. The little bungalows far exceeded my expectations. The pool is the nicest I've ever been in. All in all a great place to stay.
