Verified traveler (10/5): - The property is absolutely fabulous. Majestic in its position above Grezzana, with a spectacular view over the local hillsides. Our room was a suite complete with a huge well appointed bathroom, kitchen with fridge, hot point cooker, cutlery and china, and cafe table. The gated grounds are incredible! The breakfast is substantial and catered to a variety of cultural choices, from sweet to savoury. Everyone we communicated with were so kind, caring and delightful! We cannot recommend this property highly enough!

Ruby (10/5): - This beautiful house was the perfect place to stay and explore northern Italy. Our room was spacious clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was superb and set us up for busy days exploring. Our host and her staff welcomed us warmly and looked after us during our stay. The location allowed us easy access to Lake Garda, Milan Venice and Verona. We will be definitely be returning
soenkyung (10/5): - Borgo 27 is a wonderful Villa nestled in the hills above Verona. The owners are really friendly and everything was top notch including the marvelous breakfast laid out on glass dishes in the tastefully furnished breakfast room. Apparently they also own the Villa Arvedi (one of the historic grand villas of the area) which they rent out for weddings and special occasions. Our room was so spacious with an attached kitchen and living room. The bed linens were five star hotel quality and everything was sparkling clean. The only downside was that it was a little far (maybe a 25 min in a car) from the center of Verona, but the view more than made up for it. I would definitely like to come back and stay a couple days and relax and enjoy the area.

Check in ganz familiär Parken frei im Hof, Zimmer wie im Märchen so schön, sauber u gemütlich Wlan super , Lage zum Ort sehr gut, Die Pizzeria am Ort kann nur empfohlen werden, Jederzeit und gerne wieder Sen Donatella. Die Bonbons am Zimmer waren mit die Besten die ich je gegessen habe. Das Frühstücksbuffet herrlich , Voll Italien , mehr geht nicht an Leckerreien, hergerichtet wie im Sternerestaurant. Några exempel är att rummet var på 40 kvadratmeter, toalettväggarna pryddes av jättemånga tavlor och hela inredningen var påkostad och kändes otroligt genomtänkt. Jättefin frukost. Ett hotell som man bara vill åka tillbaks till.

We enjoyed a lovely breakfast outside most mornings in a beautiful setting. I highly recommend staying her. They really care about making your time special.

Kimberly (10/5): Stunning rooms and views! - My host was very gracious and friendly. There was a problem with the AC in my room upon arrival and she promptly put me in another room that was even nicer than the first! I stayed in the Romeo and Juliet room suit and I also saw 2 other rooms. This place is stunning! I stayed in quite a few places during my stay in Italy. This was by far the best! The breakfast was delicious and much more than a few packaged treats as many B&Bs give out. The grounds are beautiful as are the views. One word of advice. Trust your GPS to get you there. I ran past the driveway several times and didn't see it and thought my GPS had gone bonkers. The driveway is long, narrow and steep and tucked a bit into a side road at the last turn my GPS gave me. Once I realized I was passing it up it never was hard to find again. The location from Verona is perfect. I took my host's advice and parked by the cemetary where there was free parking. The walk from there to the city center was about 1K on flat ground. If you are going to Verona or visiting the town I definately recommend staying here.

House is really quiet and surrounded by greenery, all you can hear are crickets which we found kinda adorable. Apartment we stayed was in a separate building, very spacious and with a full kitchen which is helpful if you don’t want to drive anywhere and cook your own dinner.

Jana (10/5): Perfect Spot on the Hill - Our favorite place on a ur 2 week tour of Italy. This is a gem 15-20 minutes outside of Verona. The views from the hill top were stunning. The service was above and beyond. They made arrangements for us to tour a few places the very next day. And had lovely flowers in our room for us. We will come back.

Breakfast was amazing everyday. The staff always wanted to make sure we were pleased with the service and made sure any requests were handled very quickly. The bed had more than enough room and was very comfortable. The room was huge and had a full kitchen. Lot of room to relax. The view from the patio area was breathtaking.
John R (10/5): Welcome to Paradise - If you are looking for a villa in Italy where you can drive into a postcard setting this is it! Up on top of a hill with spectacular views it was incredible. The staff was extremely friendly and a pleasure to deal with. They set up a dinner reservation at a local restaurant that was awesome and good wine was very affordable. If you want to do some winery visits this is a perfect location. I hope to be back next year and with more friends staying a little bit longer as the accommodations were first class in every respect.

Verified traveler (10/5): Gorgeous villa near Verona - My husband and I stayed were extremely pleased with our stay at Borga 27. We loved the peaceful setting (there is a bit of traffic noise but nothing to be concerned about). The gardens were lovely and had panoramic views. They were a nice place to eat breakfast (which was plentiful and fresh) or simply relax in. We much preferred this setting to a large hotel in the city. It made us feel like we lived in an Italian villa. The staff was very welcoming and helpful.

However, if you travel by train like we do, it is expensive to get here by taxi, and then to take taxi into town for dinner etc. But still less than renting a car for a few days from the Verona train station.

I spoke with Hotels.com who could not have done more for us. Our original hotel had refused to cancel our room without payment, but Hotels.com were wonderful they spoke with the hotel and although the hotel did not change their approach Hotels.com assisted us in locating this hotel they upgraded us to an apartment suite and took care of the bill. what fantastic service they provide. The hotel is also fantastic as are the reception staff they could not do enough for us and advised us of a rustic restaurant a short drive away the reserved a table for us and we had a wonderful if different dining experience. Thank you to the staff at Borgo 27 we will be back for a longer visit on our European travels another year. Kirsty (10/5): Beautiful spacious hotel - The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The one bedroom apartment was beautifully appointed and very spacious. It was spotlessly clean. Lovely complimentary chocolates! A car is needed or it is €25-€30 each way to Verona. We did walk to a local pizzeria which was nice. Breakfast was cereal, fruit, yoghurt, freshly baked rolls, meats, cheeses, hard boiled eggs and omelettes all laid out. Again very helpful staff they laid a table outside for breakfast for us and refreshed coffee.

We enjoyed our one night at Residenza Borgo 27 - north of Verona, Italy. We wish we could have stayed longer! The staff was very attentive and welcoming.

Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent hotel nestled in the counrtyside - Very nice accommodations just outside of Verona. Clean, nice amenities including bathrobes and slippers. Staff is very nice and welcoming even made us sandwiches for our flight home. Delicious breakfast including locally made salumi.. Would definetly stay there again.

They also gave us all the necessary information we asked for, such as good restaurants. They were more than ready to make reservations for us in those restaurants.

Sam & Gloria (10/5): Residenza Borgo 27 (Phenomenal) - The staff spoke excellent English and were very friendly. The young lady provided directions to an family owned restaurant that was outstanding. The location and the room was just amazing. Everything in the room worked to include the jet tub. There was fresh candy in the room plus water and tea in the refrigerator. Of course the room contained an outstanding espresso machine with ingredients. All the wine glasses and dishes were super clean.

Kristian (10/5): Happy travellers... - Excellent location and first class facilities. Easily accessible to the city of Verona within 15 mins drive but so peaceful and quiet on an evening. Hotel staff cannot do enough for you. We needed some milk and when asking them for directions to the nearest location they instead walked us to the kitchen and got some out of their own fridge to give to us...!! Place is beautiful.
Samir (10/5): Best in the region - Absolutely stunning hotel to stay in. The customer service is second to none. Bianca at reception was super great! We stayed in a aparment on the ground floor, next to the checkin with beautiful big windows. We thought we would get a room, but instead we got a big suprise since it was a one bedroom apartment. Great gardens, beautiful old villa and stones throw away from Verona. This is a must visit if you're in the area. The only thing that might be improved would be a bit wider selection at breakfast and the room was a bit cold on a rainy day. But by no means was the breakfast bad. Think of no other hotel than this, if you're going to Verona.
Declan (10/5): Photos don't do this place justice - Wow, this place is awesome. Ever had (or wished you had) a really rich Uncle/Aunt/father/whatever, who had an awesome house in the foothills of verona??? Well staying here is just like that. I felt like a total fraud the entire time I was there and this place is great value for what it is. I could not recommend this place highly enough. From the rooms (and yes when you get a 'room' it includes a huge bedroom, an even bigger lounge room (with a kitchenette) and a elegant bathroom, to the staff (Sonia was everything (and more) you could hope for a hotel staff member could be), to the view, everything exceed my expectations. Its clear that the owners also love this property and are spending money to do the final restoration touches to an amazing location. I could not recommend this place (or should it be palace??) highly enough.
G & P (10/5): Great hotel, great staff, will definitely return - Spent 3 weeks travelling through Italy, found Borgo 27 by chance. Booked in for 1 night, were so impressed by the staff and the facility that we changed our plans and stayed a second night! Best spot we stayed during our trip, will recommend to everyone!
