Guest Reviews
- Bernard (8/5): - Personnel sympathique.
- dan (10/5): - They are very welcoming
- Maria Alejandra (10/5): - Amazing location. The metro in the corner takes you to palace de Versailles and you can take bus to Notre dame. Overall we had a good time. We stayed two nights. The people at reception were super friendly. Someone tried his best to speak Spanish! The elevator is small but it fits two people well. My mom and I loved the air conditioner. The bathroom and the room are small, but they were clean/tidy. Worth the price for sure.
- philippe (6/5): - Salle d'eau - wc vraiment trop petits .
- Angus (4/5): - Nice area, but at no point prior to my (non-refundable) booking was I told the advertised air conditioning wasn't working on 3 out of 5 floors. Halfway through my stay they moved me to a floor with working AC but if you left it on for more than 5 minutes it started continually dripping water, so basically useless. Not good in the middle of a boiling summer. Asked for a partial refund... message has been ignored for days. Suggest staying elsewhere.
- Teresa V (10/5): - Comfortable. Quiet. Great service by Ramadan!
- MARCOS (8/5): Bom custo beneficio. Porem o quarto e o banheiro eram bem ventilado. A localização é muito boa e fica próximo a linha 14 do metro. Tem varios restaurantes e mercado bem próximo. Vale a pena.
- Romain (8/5): - Endroit calme
Ok frukost men smaklöst kaffe.
- Shihua (10/5): - Nicest owners! Really lovely property
- paul (8/5): - I liked my stay
- Souma (8/5): - L’emplacement est excellent
- Uma (4/5): - Not a very clean hotel — more like a motel. A dingy bathroom and not very clean bedroom. Staff is friendly but will not be returning.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Lousy hotel - I was told I could check in early, spent 1 hour getting there and room was not ready. Left my luggage in an unsecure front desk area all day,. 1 Light in the bathroom was not working.very dim with the other. Shower had old curtains with an open floor so the entire bathroom floor was wet. Only 1 outet was working the other was broken. Noise with construction in the hall way woke me up very early. I had to leave my room key with the front desk as I went out. 3 nights stay. Easy to public transportation.
Couchage confortable.
- Nicola (10/5): - It’s really comfort zone
- Michael (10/5): - It’s walking distance to the inner part of the city and restaurants.
- Andreas (8/5): - It was adequatee and the people on the desk were always friendly and helpful
- Anita (8/5): - Very tiny room and bathroom was so small
- SHU (8/5): - Staff was nice.
- Faren (6/5): - Bilingual staff. Staff not as helpful; the guy at night appeared to not understand that we were asking for a late check-out. After explaining, we were told this hotel does not offer late check-out. The hotel did hold our luggage after we checked out, so we could explore the city some more. However, our bags were not tagged, we weren’t given anything stating they had our bags, and our bags were sat beside the check-in desk for anyone to come in and grab. There wasn’t anyone at the desk when we came back to collect our bags, and we were able to just grab our bags and walk away without any confirmation that they were ours. The elevator is only large enough for 1 bag and 1 person. The facilities could use a major renovation to be updated. The area around the hotel is relatively safe.
- Barbara (8/5): - Simple, friendly, clean, well located.
- Nathalie (4/5): Insatisfaite - Literie confortable, oreillers inconfortables. Bruyant : bruit de ventilation toute la nuit !!
Chambre propre.
- Sandra (10/5): - Très bon hôtel demandez Reda
- Giuliano (6/5): - Comoda e vicino. A trasporti
- Vanessa (10/5): - Hotel accogliente e pulito! Personale gentile e professionale!
- Sonia (10/5): - Personnel adorable tjr dispo .
- HABIBA (8/5): - Good
- Habi (6/5): - Very small area, windows have no screen and are too difficult to open and close. Also, I did not like the policy of leaving the room key with the receptionist, but over all it is just convenient for a one night sleep.
- Jan Buchardt (6/5): Tired and rund down - The rooms and facilities at the hotel are tired and in a bad shape. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were really bad. I can not recomand the hotel.
The staff were very nice and helpfull.
- Michael J (8/5): Nice hotel off the beaten path - Staff was super friendly and helpful. They suggested places to eat and arranged a taxi for us to the airport. The neighborhood was really nice with a lot of places to eat and friendly staffs. It was not a tourist neighborhood, which was kind of nice to get a feel of "real" Paris life. On the other hand, we had to take a cab or the train to get to tourist sites. The hotel room was really small, and the bathroom was microscopic. AC worked fine.
- Ana (8/5): - it’s a nice neighborhood, the staff is friendly and helpful. Wifi signal is good. Rooms are too small and the shower is tiny. Rooms are a little loud because you can hear the water running constanly.
- K (8/5): - It was clean and staff were very helpful and spoke very good English which helped A LOT with being from north america.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The room was just what we wanted but after the first night they took our towels away and never replaced them which was impractical and disappointing.
- Ana (8/5): Perfect for sleeping and days out site-seeing - The staff at the front desk were so nice! The desk is open 24 hours. They held our bags for us at check out since we had a late flight out of Paris. The rooms were very basic, but clean. Showers are super small, as they were in most of Europe. They provided sufficient towels. All-around great experience. We stayed here because we were able to walk to many areas. There is a bakery nearby that fills the room with a wonderful scent in the middle of the night.
- Mohammad Jahangir (10/5): - I am satisfied.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Reception staff were very helpful. Good value for money in a nice area.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This place is ideally located close enough to the city in a quaint neighborhood. It is always very clean and staff are polite, helpful and very warm and friendly. It would help to have an electric kettle in the room with some tea/coffee, especially for those chilly nights.
- Menatalla (8/5): Royal Wagram - The hotel is just 3 mins walk from the pont cardinet station which makes everything easier.
The staff were really helpful in everything we asked. The only downside was that the rooms were small and close to each other. But other than that the stay was great
- Sean (4/5): Nice location very tired inside have to leave key - Very tired hotel.
Looks better from the outside.
I’ve spent the last 6 months in Paris 3 nights a week and stayed in many places.
Was hoping for better as a great location and previously did not book due to the very high rate.
The bedroom carpet was brown and still heavily worn and stained. Bathroom tiny and also brown tiles!
Strange place as you get a credit card key for room but they force you to leave it at reception even if only piping out to the local shops or dinner.
Each time I came back a different person in reception so interrogated before I could get key back.
- Sandra (6/5): - Paid extra for breakfast which was clear based on amount paid. Reservation did not specify breakfast. Desk staff could see this and still insisted that I pay twice for breakfast if I wanted it. Spent lots of time calling and messing with it and got nowhere except got my money back for 2nd night from hotels.com for bait and switching me but they still paid Wagram for my 2nd night. Was difficult with kids to not have breakfast nearby. Neighborhood here is clean and safe only not too close to metro stop, not too far either. Elevator is slow but nice that there is one. I would go back if beds were a little bigger and if there wasn't a hassle. View not great, it's okay though.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was a nice room
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Rooms were in poor condition; dirty, moldy, and very outdated. I also did not feel safe leaving my belongings in the room as the staff required you leaving your room key at the front desk when you left. When we returned and retrieved our key they did not verify our ID or even ask our name- you just gave the number of the room and they gave you the key. (and it was not the same person at the desk so no they did not recognize us.) Would not recommend this hotel.
- Jen (10/5): - The hotel was extremely clean, very comfortable, and the breakfast was simple yet delicious. The hotel staff made our stay, though. They were lovely and very helpful, especially as we were travelling with two small children - they did everything they could to make our stay easy.
Location is great - in a nice little neighbourhood with good bus stops nearby, and walkable to Champs Elyesees and more.
- Nic (10/5): - All of the staff were/are helpful, trustworthy, courteous and friendly. The room was small but I didn't mind. Facility was clean. They offer breakfast in the morning - the coffee is awesome. It's location is close enough to transit access to the main sites of Paris, but, it's far enough away that I wasn't completely exposed to the hustle and bustle of Paris. I would stay there again and recommend it to a friend.
- Ashley (8/5): STAY HERE OVER ANYWHERE ELSE - Super clean hotel, amazing breakfast of croissants, milk, cheese, meat, bread, yogurt, applesauce. Also good location, super cheap, a.c., and kind staff. WiFi was spotty on first few nights but okay now and room on first floor doesn't have a proper shower but we switched rooms the 2nd time we stayed and had a proper shower so it might just be the ground floor room that has that issue. All in all I loved this hotel. 10/10 place to stay.
- A (2/5): - They are very rude manger we try to cancil in first day thay are not happy than we spoke with hotel .com .the can not do any things for as we are very sad and not clean also not help full
- Kristina (8/5): - Room/ hotel was very dated but comfortable. Staff was AMAZING. We had an awesome bathroom. Close to public transit and great continental breakfast.
- Fernando Bernardo (10/5): - Location was perfect. It was walking distance to Point Cardinet Station. Going to the Garre St Lazare was very easy from there. Staff of the hotel were very helpful. From giving instructions on how to get to the Cityon your first day, or helping you out with check out and transportation on your last day. Room was ok. A bit small but you will just use it for sleeping anyways. Some improvement would be probably provide a bigger pillow. The Pillow size given was a bit small. Also for the breakfast, probably change it up once in a while. We stayed there for 6 nights and breakfast was the same. Not complaining though but if it can be changed, it would be better. All in all, we were very pleased with our stay. We would recommend it because of its location. It is very accessible and convenient and staff were very kind and helpful.
- Chris (4/5): Very small room and tiny bathroom - Although the bed was reasonable the room was much smaller than expected and the bathroom ridiculously small. The shower was so small you hit the tap as you washed and turned the water off inadvertently. There was nowhere to hang your towels once wet. The room was noisy. The breakfast room near the reception was very small and you hardly had room to move between tables. The staff were however friendly and helpful. The hotel advertised free wifi however it was awkward to log in, exceptionally slow and kept dropping out, so much so we used the cafe next door for I ternet service as well as decent breakfast! - a very disappointing stay.
- Ismail (10/5): - Good location and amazing staff!!
Will go back for sure.
- Michelle (4/5): Nice location and affordable - This was a low budget hotel with a nice and safe location. There was a bus that was very close that too you right into the main area of Paris.
- Said (10/5): 3 Night Stay in Paris - Very friendly and professional staff. Very attentive. My room was clean, comfortable and warm, there was also air conditioning Nice toiletries and towels.Good continental breakfast. The staff offered good directions to where I wanted to get to. For the price I paid it was excellent value. I stayed in room 1004.
- Douglas (8/5): Nice little place to stay. - Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is a bit away from the tourist section, but very close to trains, buses and metro. 20 minute bus ride to the Arc de Triumf. Bathroom and elevator were both tiny.
breakfast was good. Enough variety for a simple breakfast.Staff was very helpful on directing us around Paris. There are restuarants and shops close by.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good, close to bus and train stops. 2 good restaurants across the street.
- peter (6/5): Fair price with basics - This hotel has a good staff and works for those on a frugal budget. The room is very small and the bathroom is extremely small. The shower is so small that water can easily spill over onto the floor if you are not careful with the curtains or your elbows!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Need renovations now - Tired hotel, need serious renovation and improvement including upgrade TV (not sure you can find such small TV anymore on the market) , very average Wifi service.
- Steven (10/5): Perfect location - Excellent, friendly staff.
The hotel was in a wonderful location.
The surroundings are beautiful.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice quiet and peaceful area. A small cozy hotel. The rooms are not large, but everything is necessary. Good cleaning every day. Very friendly English-speaking staff. Near three metro stations, Port Cardinet station for connection with the RER, several supermarkets. Good noise insulation, the street is very quiet. I can recommend for everyone.
- Magdalina (8/5): Convenient and clean hotel - The hotel was easy to get to and the staff were lovely and really helpful! I have no complaints about our stay as such. The rooms were very much on the small side but other than that it was good value for money.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Solid hotel in a good location - Clean, cheap and 2K from the Arc de Triomphe. Very comfortable beds that were tidies up nicely by staff. The desk staff are courteous and helpful though they did try to sell us on an airport shuttle that was expensive and not necessary. The shower was extremely small but the rest of the room, though quite tiny, was comfortable. We paid 217 Euros for a triple for three nights.
- Alicia (4/5): Good service, no room to breathe - The service was great, the hotel not much so. The shower stall was miniscule, there was no way to take a shower without turning the tiny bathroom into a swamp. The space between wall and bed was almost nonexistent, you had to crawl on top of the bed to get to the other side of the room. I know hotel rooms in Europe are small, but this one was insanely tiny.
