Tiene un buen camino que baja a la playa, el personal amable. Un hotel Pet Friendly <3 Nada muy relevante, en el desayuno a veces tardan mucho en servir, y no siempre el restaurant tiene todas las opciones del menu, recomiendo poner mas decoracion a las amplias habitaciones.

Staff spoke good English and were very helpful. Packed breakfast provided when we went out on an early morning birding excursion. This is an important service, especially for birders. It was perfect. We wish we could have stayed for an extra two nights, but unsurprisingly the hotel was full.
• Hicham (1/5): Terrible - The view There was a giant rat in the kitchen, walking all over the pizza area. Gladly we saw it before ordering and left immediately. The electricity was gone in the night, the bathroom was clean but limescale on the tap. We will never come back again. The entrance was not taking care of. It was a shame we could not cancel otherwise we sure have did it. The reception lady I think the owner was not very interested at the check out about our stay. The Dominican lady at the check in was very nice. Edit: it seems the owner has decided the only way out of this review is to reply with an accusation of us consuming drugs or something of the like. Absolutely despicable behavior.

• Diranmy (9/5): - Great location, just outside the city of Barahona, about 9 kms.. The hotel overlooks the ocean, in one of the most beautiful coastlines of the DR. Clean. Linens and beds were comfortable. Great AC and Fan (needed on this part of the island). Grounds were beautiful. Lots of space to relax. Breakfast was included, limited selection, but also good. The staff was fantastic and patient with our large, disorganized (and at times, difficult) large group. It's a great place to stay if you want to explore the many rivers and natural spring pools in the area, or as a break on the long drive to Bahia de Las Aguilas. I will definitely stay there again.

La familia de la recepción también fue muy amable. Lo mejor del hotel fueron las camas, eso fue lo que nos hizo extender nuestra estadía….. las camas son cómodos unas! El hotel necesita mantenimiento urgente, muchas paredes desconchadas, falta de pintura, y el techo de cana hace que entren muchos bichos. Muchos mosquitos también en el restaurante.

Tiene unas vistas super bonitas del mar y tamb tienen como un pequeño jacuzzi en frente del mar (aunq en esos momentos no funcionaba) El lugar esta limpio y nuestra habitacion (numero 26) era gigantesca con un balcon donde pudimos ver el amanecer. El personal muy amable, tanto como en recepcion como en el restaurante. Tambien tienen una mesa de billar y una de futbolin y varios sitios de descanso en el jardin Nada, todo fue perfecto

Chambres manquent un peu de charme mais c’est un détail.

• Sharon (8/5): One nigh at this place for dinner and sleep - We stayed at this hotel recently and had a mixed experience. At check-in there was a strange moment when the receptionist asked us to fill out a form with full credit card details, including the CVV and expiration date — something I’ve never been asked for before. I booked through Hotels.com and thought the room had already been paid, which made the request feel unnecessary and uncomfortable. In the end, they just charged the card directly and didn’t insist, but it left a weird first impression. The property itself has a lot of potential — the location comes with beautiful ocean views, though unfortunately the seaweed (sargassum) problem below the cliffs created a strong smell during our stay. The room was okay, but little details were missing: one bed had a duvet cover, while the other didn’t, so one of us was cold at night. On the positive side, the food at the hotel’s restaurant was delicious — probably the highlight of our stay — and the staff in the restaurant were very friendly. With some added charm, decoration, and attention to detail, this place could really become a tropical gem.

They said they would fix it and it was never fixed. The other family members (we had 3 reserved separate rooms) ALSO had the same problem and were promise it would be taken care of and we had no tv service the whole weekend. We had children in our group very disappointed.

We booked 14 days and every day the same. No choice. Serveral time even some goods not available. Wifi was week. Showers need 10 minutes before warm water. This are some workingpoints. Good for a stay of 2-3 days.

• Jose (10/5): One of the best places I've stayed in a while - Everything! I normally don't write reviews, but I felt the need to write this one. The Hotel is really nice, very clean and the staff is friendly, attentive and very professional. I had to honor of meeting the owner and he is a very down to earth and sociable person. But the VIP of our stay in the resort was Bruno, the morning restaurant attendant. Always greets you with a smile and a friendly demeanor. The food was great and the view made it that much better. The fact that is out of the city makes is a gem in the hiding, since it's only approximately 15 min away and you can stay way from all the noise and have a quiet and relax time if you choose to. So I cannot recommend this resort enough. The have made a customer for life. We're already planning our next trip Nothing

• Felix (10/5): Excellent, i spent a beautiful family time, - Beautiful Property, excellent for couples and families. The Seaview is excellent, pool 24/7 which is wonderful. The Garden View in the morning and the sea view is lovely. There is a walking by the beach which they should promote this also as well. They just need a little more cleaning on the room, being specific that i found little roaches on the coffee machine. But not a big deal. They just need to pay more attention on exterminating service.
