Guest Reviews
- BARBARA (10/5): Just right if you have an early airport departure - We were a little nervous when we saw the exterior of these apartments and realized it was a condo rental. But Tiffany met us, briefed us, gave us keys. The apartment was small but clean and modern. Great water pressure in the shower, and just half a block from the beach. The air conditioning was perfect: no on/off noise. Right close to the airport for a very early morning departure.
- Marta I (8/5): Great - It is a great place to stay
- Amy (10/5): Very nice - Building is undergoing renovations, but the room itself was great. Clean, comfortable, air conditioning worked very well, wifi was amazing. Pool was nice and gated parking was wonderful. Bathroom was clean but could use an update and the drop ceiling should eventually changed but overall it was fantastic. Literally 3 minutes from the beach and less than 10 minutes to the airport. Also several good restaurants nearby and cvs within walking distance that had a good selection of random souvenirs and beach towels. Building seemed very secure. Would definitely stay here again.
- Betzaida (8/5): - Los dias que estuvimos lo pasamos muy bien.Nos encanto y volveriamos
- virginia (4/5): - I was not able to stay there. The Lady that showed us the apartment wouldn't take Visa Gift Cards for our stay..
- Ivan (4/5): - When you get there no one is around. The email doesn't give you a contact #. Called hotels.com and went thru endless promps and never reached a live person. Went to the bar next door and he told me this happens all the time. After clicking on various links i found a #. I called and he was busy so i waiting at the bar till he showed up over half hour later.
No bathroom screen on window, mosquitoes had a field day while i slept. The next day there were 3" flying roaches that came in thru the window.
Also don't leave valuables in the room, if you jiggle the knob hard it will open. They have parking which is convenient and the restaurant across the street Metropol is delicious. 4 minute walk to the beach is fun water experience with nice waves.
If they put a screen on the bathroom and fix the lock & make it easier to figure out how to contact someone when you get there, i'd give it 3 out of 5 stars
- kristin (2/5): - Bad busniess for that building
- humberto (4/5): NOS FUIMOS A MITAD DE ESTADÍA - EN EL CHECK IN NO TENIA DISPONIBLE EL BEEPER ESTACIONAMIENTO, CORTINA DEL CUARTO ROTA Y LUZ DEL SOL EN TRABA ,MATRE ROTO, MICROONDAS NO FUNCIONABA,PORTON DEL APARTAMENTO NO CERRABA,PUERTAS DEL CLOSET DEFECTUOSOS, DEL 1 AL 10 SACA 1
- Verified traveler (2/5): Very Disappointing - Run down, Owner met us at 2am with his brief case and credit card apparatus. We were tired from our flight but when we saw the room it was not as it appeared in the photos on line but we were so tired we just stayed. Holes in wall, tiny shower with no water pressure and an electrical outlet above shower. Bed had a huge sag in the middle and no extra blanket to cover up at night. The restaurant/bakery next door was not as described and the beach was not across the street as we were led to believe. Gated parking was not always available. It rained one night and we woke to cockroaches on the shower floor. No smoke detector, holes in wall and ceiling tiles needed to be replaced. We stayed because we only showered and slept there, we were out and about the rest of the time.
- NewTraveler (6/5): Convenient but not worth the money - The only thing useful in this apartment is the kitchen. It is a small studio the kitchen being in the same space as the bed. The landlord provides utensils and pots and pans but not of the best quality. We cooked breakfast for most of our stay because the quality food is so expensive in Isla Verde. The mattress was horrible very uncomfortable , the middle of the mattress was sunken in. They did change the sheets however I brought a sheet just in case.
We stayed the room for 5 nights in that time we saw two water roaches now i understand its the Caribbean however the landlord could have done a better job at securing the piping in the apartment. The plumbing for the toilet was king of exposed but I guess the water roaches could have came from anywhere. Unfortunately there isn someone to clean everyday but we didn't leave food lying around.
- Danielle (8/5): - Small but comfortable for two. Up the block from the beach , near many food places and hotel resorts
- Rodolfo (2/5): I don liked the hotel - The room was soo small, smell, frond door(bottom) was three finger open that animals can get in.I did not have no places to put my cloths.
- Daniel (6/5): Nice apartment close to the beach - Fairly new remodeled apartment which was close to two beaches. If you stay here, do yourself a favor and ask the cab to take you to "Las Canarias", this is a bakery right next to the apartment complex. No one seems to know Violetta street, but they all know the bakery. The room isn't huge but has a small kitchen, fridge, and A/C. Overall, nothing fancy but a good clean place at a fair price. The pool is a nice feature as well.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Nice room, close to the place I went - It was a quiet place, close to the airport, but there was not a phone number where my family could call me,
In addition, I wanted to check out at 11: am as the expedia information said, but the owner asked me the keys at 10:00 am. It is a room by itself, there is not anybody to ask something, after I checked in I did not see the owner until the check out date. The tv did not work properly, and there was not a telephone to make some calls. I think I would get a better room somewhere by the same price.
