Location was superb, so close to the fish market and lots of little Bacaro and shops. The hotel room doors - so difficult to open with the key card. Rooms were very noisy. Could hear people at night. Frühstück tolle Auswahl Personal kam 2 mal täglich zur Zimmerreinigung, Wasserflaschen wurden täglich erneuert genauso wie die Hand-und Duschtücher. Kosmetiktücher, Körperlotion, Shampoo, Spülung alles vor Ort. Kühlschrank im Zimmer war sehr laut.

- Christoph (8/5): Nach 7 Jahren erneut hier gewesen und keinen Moment bereut. - Die Lage ist und bleibt der Knaller. Direkt am Canale Grande, je sieben Minuten Fußweg in beide Richtungen die wichtigen Vaporetto-Haltestellen Rialto und SanStae. Und dankt der zentralen Lage ist eigentlich alles gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Personal ist freundlich, freut sich über ein Boungiorno und Grazie, spricht aber sehr gutes Englisch. Die Zimmer sind für den Preis in Venedig von Größe und Ausstattung her völlig in Ordnung. Einziges Manko, wenn man es so nennen kann - der Fernseher, respektive die Programme sind unbrauchbar. Hunderte Sender gespeichert, auch ein paar deutsche (um mal Nachrichten zu schauen z.B.) aber dahinter verstecken sich nur irgendwelche Shopping-Kanäle.

Staff were friendly and helpful. It was a good time to come in late January; although it rained all day long, the attractions and restaurants were not busy so there were no long lines.

- Luca (10/5): Fantastica struttura e personale gentilissimo e disponibile - Tutto, struttura moderna ben arredata con attenzione ai dettagli. Vista sul canale a colazione come per la camera scelta. La camera era ampia e confortevole compreso un bagno con vasca/doccia realizzata con materiale di pregio e di buon gusto. Se dobbiamo trovare il pelo nell’uovo mancava la macchinetta per il caffe in stanza ma è un limite soggettivo e di non importanza capitale.

- Foley (9/5): If you're looking for lodging in Venice, do yourself a favor and stay at D' Orologio. - The hotel location is perfect, the staff is amazing and friendly, breakfast is delicious, and the hotel vibe is incredible. We had an excellent time, and D' Orologio was the best place to stay for our first trip to Venice. As a bonus, we found that the water taxi from the airport dropped us directly at the door to the hotel - something we didn't appreciate until we saw many people dragging their luggage through the narrow streets and bridges of Venice. Shower drainage could have been a bit better, and the mattress was a tough stiff, but still comfortable enough. Really, very minor issues for a hotel in a historic building, certainly acceptable, and we've stayed in far worse for higher costs.

- Amanda (10/5): Clean , fab , well equipped hotel close to everthing - Our 2 x bed apartment was clean , with excellent views and incredibly clean . Spotless in fact Nothing although there was a q for breakfast . People had sat in 4 seat tables when there was only 2 of them . The next day the staff seemed better equipped to deal with it . Eggs ran out quickly and took a while to b replenished

- medeot (9/5): Very nice hotel with excellent location direct to canal. Staff was very friendly and helpful. - Location is amazing, easy to reach. Room was spacious and beds were very comofrtable. Breakfast was decent. Lightning could be a bit better and the A/C was not working (didn't react to change of temperature).
