- Wakson (10/5): - What I liked about the property:
I really enjoyed my stay here. The place was super comfortable, clean, and peaceful. The city is very beautiful and relaxing. The hosts were exceptional and very helpful during my stay. I would definitely stay here again.
What I didn’t like about the property:
Nothing major. Everything was great for my stay.
Short sentence:
Comfortable stay, beautiful area, and amazing hosts.
- Jonathan (6/5): Served it’s purpose - It was cheap and served its purpose Was outdated and not that clean
- Caridad (7/5): -
- Lysa (10/5): -
- Laytel fils (7/5): -
- Pierre (10/5): -
- Jeanne (8/5): Good location for several restuarants -
- Cindy (7/5): -
- CATHERINE (8/5): - clean and comfortable. I only wish the TV had other channels.
- Virginia (2/5): Disgusting bathroom and holes in the furniture. - Breakfast????? Not sure what your talking about Nothing
- Diana (7/5): I have stayed at this property before for an annual local get together, and would stay here again. - Clean bed and bath, decent TV, lighting and refrigerator. Quiet hotel. Adequate outdoor lighting. Air conditioner was too noisy.
- Brian (5/5): - It was satisfactory for a couple nights just to sleep and shower. Pool dirty/ cloudy and practically in the street and parking lot.
- Marjorie (5/5): Adequate - Guy at front desk very nice Hair under the pillow and in the bathroom. He switched our room. Hotel in need of paint job everywhere
- Anne (5/5): -
- Sharon (4/5): Small bugs on bedspread. Was not told of any beaches to visit ☹️ - Had a roof over my head. Room smelled musty and was damp. needed to use the hairdryer and it was broke.
- Joseph (8/5): Best value on the Cape in summer - Great location and price. Clean and quiet nothing
- Kristin (1/5): -
- William (8/5): -
- Beatrice (8/5): -
- William (8/5): Enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay there again - Cleanliness of room, comfortable king bed, large screen tv, useful iron and ironing board in room, and Dave at the desk was very welcoming. The toilet seat was low.
- Cyrille (8/5): Très bien - L’accueil Clim un peu bruyante mais comme tous les motels
- Oistein (7/5): P A R K I N G - Location Parking was VERY limited
- Kimberlee (6/5): - Was old inside
- Sara (4/5): - Unfortunately I wasn’t thrilled with our recent stay - I had booked a nonsmoking room, yet it wreaked of cigarettes (even the bedding and towels), which made it difficult for me to fall asleep (luckily we weren’t otherwise hanging out in the room on this trip). There was also an ironing board but no iron, and no hair conditioner. It took asking twice for an iron and about 20 minutes to get one - which was not ideal as that gave us 10 minutes to iron before our plans.
- Eugene M (8/5): - Clean room and close to everything
- Henry (10/5): - Great location
Cleanliness & towels/bedding could be improved upon
- Amy (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The check in was so easy and the staff was friendly. The grounds and the rooms were very clean. It's a little on the older side, but we were very comfortable and I found it to be a great value!
- Alexandra (10/5): - Did not cook but wonderful shopping and dinning options
- Michelle (8/5): - All of the above. But next door to me there seemed to be a party going on and it was quite noisy til around 2:30 a.m. I think someone finally asked them to disperse and be quiet after that.
- williamson (10/5): I'll be back - Location. Access to a lot of stores and restaurants. Beaches were everywhere. I couldn't stay longer
- Kelly (9/5): -
- Christine (6/5): - Lobby smelled like weed all the time. The microwave was filthy. There were cobwebs around the AC unit. The baseboards were dirty. The toilet tank was loose and so was the seat. The AC fan smelled like urine and left a horrible smell in the unit.
- Lisitano (10/5): -
- Dale (8/5): - Very clean. Great bed. Just had a broken coffee maker but it was replaced very quickly.
- Sara (10/5): - Clean room with nice air conditioning , the bed is very comfortable with big scream tv .
- Laura J (10/5): - No kitchen. Clean room, air conditioning and friendly staff
- Mary (8/5): Good for the cost - Unit was clean just very dated.
Bed was comfortable
Parking was good
Coffee shop close by
- MaryElizabeth (10/5): - They were pleasant and accommodating. Was able to add another night without difficulty.
- Forty45 (9/5): Good accomodation on Cape Cod - Good size room with large comfortable bed.
- Farouq (2/5): - I was double charged for this and was told to pay at the hotel
- Pengo (7/5): -
- Sean (4/5): - Staff was very accommodating; however our room was not cleaned from previous stays. The bedding smelled & looked terrible.
- Kolodziej (6/5): - The bed was good, toilet was made for a child. Shower rod was coming out of the wall.
Something like a coffee pot.
They need to refresh things.
Our first vacation in years it was very disappointing 😞 The bed was good, toilet was made for a child. Shower rod was coming out of the wall.
Something like a coffee pot.
They need to refresh things.
Our first vacation in years it was very disappointing 😞
- Kevin (1/5): I would never stay there again! Very sketchy place! - Location Not clean, weird smelling room, no window to open, outdated furnishings, felt nervous to be there.
- Mary Beth (6/5): - The location was good and the room was clean. The main issue was that the fridge was not working when I arrived and had standing water in it. It did get fixed but it wasn't until the next day. Also, the room was a little dated and needed some touch-up painting.
- Shafto (8/5): - Very very clean, bed was very comfortable, it was quiet, the price was great, the young man checking us in was super super nice. Highly recommend
- Thomas (1/5): -
- Christina (10/5): Feels like home - This hotel is family friendly the rooms are cute and comfortable. It has a clean pool and the people that own it were fantastic.
- Barbara (8/5): - The owner was really nice and the property was great for the price. We loved the pool!
- Laden (3/5): - It is not the nicest place but it did the job for a quick one night on the Cape. It is outdated and the furnishings were gross. The paint was all over mirrors and splattered all over the place. Our room key didn’t work because the battery died. The hotel staff had to unlock our door. When we left the room we had to hold the door open. For the insane price I am disappointed. Lower the pricing
- dianne (7/5): -
- Stojkovic (4/5): -
- Robert (10/5): - very convenient spot. Close to lots of area attractions. Decent value. Was perfect for what I was looking for.
- Ann (8/5): -
- Sam (4/5): - Not good
- THOMAS (8/5): - Staff was great
- Mark (10/5): -
- William (6/5): - It was good. We liked that it was central to where we wanted to go
- Maryfran (6/5): -
- Eileen (9/5): It was excellent! - Perfectly located on the cape for all the adventures in either direction!
- Jo Ann (3/5): - it was close to the wedding venue and served the purpose Upon check in it was a bit disturbing, the front seat guy was already waiting on me and getting the key, they some dude comes flying in, smelled like weed, was very inpatient, and he handed the guy cash and got his keys before me! it was rude. then my two sisters booked the day of and got a better price than me, they would price match for me. Any what kinds of hotel gives a better deal if you slip him cash. The guy at the desk commented, He’s a frequent guest and stays here all the time, he was shady looking, looked like a drug dealer, was very rude, …. if this is the clientele they chose to wait on before me, i’ll stay somewhere else.
- Mason (4/5): - Pros: The staff was very nice, the pool was 9ft deep (impressive) and the kitchen in the room was better than expected as there was a full range with oven, full size refrigerator and applicable appliances.
Cons: Even though the sink faucet could produce very hot water, the shower could not get hotter than lukewarm. The room was obviously not cleaned very well as commonly used areas still had the last guests' hair and all of the cookware and plates/silverware needed to be hand washed prior to being used. The big issue though, it seemed my spouse was getting bug bites so we are 90% sure there were bedbugs present in the room. This resulted in us leaving 1 night prior to the end of our reservation
- Nicole (6/5): - The toilet was really wobbly and not secure. Stains on the wall. Considering that, the bedding was clean, thankfully. We only needed it as a place to sleep 1 night, so we didn't go all out. All night long, if someone in the motel flushed their toilet, our toilet would make that running water sound, so I didn't sleep well either.
- Ludovic (1/5): très sale - Nous n'avons pas pu apprécier quoi que ce soit en raison de la propreté de la chambre Chambre (très) sale et vieillotte
- Ronald (10/5): Enjoyable and relaxful. - Very relaxed atmosphere. Room was neat, clean and quiet. David runs a nice operation. Always a notable pleasure staying at the Guest Lodge. Nothing noted.
- Ruiz López (10/5): -
- Dennis (8/5): Convenient and comfortable stay - Comfortable room, clean, convenient parking, large desk for working, walls are a little thin, convenient location, 5 minutes to W. Dennis Beach, 15-30 minutes to mid and lower Cape, hour to Provincetown and Falmouth
- Edward (8/5): Overall the Guest Lodge was a nice place to stay. - Very nice swimming pool and the room was comfortable Was on second floor I have a bad knee so it wasn’t nice climbing stairs.
- Megan (6/5): - Clean for the most part. Outdated and small room. Needs more and better places to hang towels in the bathroom. Didnt like the kind of AC. Didnt like the location of the pool.
- Andrea (8/5): - The rooms were clean but need some maintenance. Furniture was old, bathroom door needs to be repainted and new caulk on the wall trim. We were only staying 1 night so not a major issue.
- David (7/5): - Location Outdated and needs a refresh
- Wienand (9/5): Would stay there again. - Very clean and exactly what to be expected. Better than I would have expected for a motel. Staff was great and it was clean and had a comfortable bed. Nothing
- Verified traveler (10/5): Slept great - My bed was very comfortable and I slept great each night. I was on the first floor and could easily hear the pounding from above and conversation from next door but thankfully everyone was quiet during the night
- Dorothy (8/5): - Clean and quiet
- Donna (8/5): - We loved being able to use the pool to use an RC boat we brought. What a blast!!! Not having some kind of breakfast.
- Myroslava (4/5): - Bed was fine but floor so dirty, and it was uncomfortable staying there with kids.
Also AC is works well but very loud, so for second night we turn it off and sleep much better.
We liked swimming pool )))
Thanks
- dorothea (1/5): Asked for another room .. rooms were not occupied or.was told they were reserved I said I had a rezerved . My request - Room was hot !!! Arrived about 5:30 .. air condition had not been turned on even though I had called in advance saying I would be there with in the hour I turned on air conditioner left for an hour and half and came back to a hot room . Air conditioner worked when I left but when I returned the air condition air was like warm ..
- Lori (4/5): - After reading the reviews of the GuestLodge, I thought it would at least be clean. When I got to the room there was a red solo cup with water still in it on the dresser which grossed me out. The carpet was a bit damp and the hairdryer didn’t work. There wasn’t enough parking so I had to park behind the restaurant next door. In the end, I guess you really do get what you pay for.
- kathleen (8/5): Older t - Nice older hotel- not a chain. Needed more outlets for cpap plugs but fine for us.
- Laurie (8/5): -
- Memmelaar (5/5): -
- Scott (8/5): Affordable, accessible, would stay again. - Staff was very kind Carpet was old
- David (10/5): Very happy - Very clean and comfortable
- Alexey (6/5): What you pay is what you get - Bedding is clean and comfortable, the key from the room works, the toilet and shower works, thr toilet paper was in place. The door from bathroom did not close, the toilet is low, the pool is very cold.
- jennifer (6/5): Pot fumes - Every evening, the pot smell would start wafting into our room from the lobby. It was horrible! I would not stay there again because it was making me so ill.
They do room service upon request, which I requested to be done every single day. The first day they did it and it was awesome. They even took dirty towels that we had hanging. The next day they forgot to make the bed. It was very odd.
The pool was nice.
- Margaret (7/5): After a bumpy start, a nice stay and provided what we needed. - The first room we were given was not super clean. We moved to a new room in a very close-by separate property owned by the same owner (Travelodge). This room was clean and nice. The owner who made this accommodation was as nice as could be and really interested in making us happy with our room. Overall, it was quite nice for a budget motel. It was a hassle to move, although we appreciated it as we did not want to stay in the original room (run down, not super clean). The amenities were a little thin (although nothing different that what was promised in the description), for instance it would be nice if there was a water dispenser.
- Luke (7/5): -
- Daniel (10/5): - The staff was extremely helpful. We were first booked at GuestLodge, but realized it would be hard for my elderly mother to get to the second floor, which is the only room they had. They allowed us to take the last ground floor room at Travelodge, their sister site down the street. We greatly appreciated the accommodations.
- A (10/5): -
- Doris (7/5): Close to W. Dennis beach, clean no frills on a budget - Location, only 1.5 mile from W. Dennis beach. For the price you cannot beat this price. It did have fridge with freezer & outdoor pool. The room smelled like smoke. Outdated rooms but super reasonable for 4th of July weekend
- Aneliya (2/5): - The location was the only redeeming quality Very old and worn out furniture. Mold and rust everywhere, especially in the bathroom. Very noisy air conditioner but no windows to open either. Smell of mold everywhere.
- Debby (3/5): - Price was the only good thing about this place and the comfy bed. AC worked well Nothing near by. Lucky we had a car. Dennis is good if you want to explore Cape Cod end to end. Good mid way spot to stay Office only opens at 8am so if you are an early riser you will not get a coffee here. They come to clean your room every 3 days (apparently) we were there 4 nights they didnt come. No microwave in the room. Need to go to the office.
- 3christinaa (8/5): Conveniently located at a reasonable price - We had a pleasant stay at this conveniently located hotel. Like other people have mentioned, the room was a little worn, but clean. We stayed on the 2nd floor, double beds ( very comfortable! ) with one bathroom. Our room was a nice size, the air conditioning worked well.
The Bike path is right around the corner, the beach is close by , lots of restaurants & ice cream places to choose from.
The outdoor pool was a pleasant surprise, it was also very clean, the towels were on site , lots of seating if you don't like to swim, there's a table with an umbrella for shade , if you don't want to be in the sun.
The Staff were all really nice.
There is ample parking, we have an SUV with a bike rack, we didn't have any problems parking, our bikes were safe.
I would definitely recommend this hotel if you're looking for an affordable room thats clean & conveniently located.
- Robert (10/5): - The location is great, the motel was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was pleasant and attentive. The parking lot is too small. If you get back to the motel after 11pm, you pretty much always have to park in a supplemental lot which is down a steep hill and it's not lit well.
- Bradford (8/5): -
- James (9/5): if available, book the Studio room! - I stayed in the Studio room, which I think must have been the old owner's quarters .... large fridge, microwave, cooktop/oven + sink, kitchen-wise. Very decent desk if you plan to do work. There's a futon that converts into a daybed/full-sized bed as well.
- Donna (6/5): It was just okay. Typical old Cape Cod motel. - A well-weathered motel. Pool is small and cramped pool deck.
- Theresa (10/5): Great Stay - David runs a great place! If anything was needed, he got it for you immediately. The pool was nice.
- Rae (8/5): - The location was convenient, the room was clean, neat and affordable.
