Guest Reviews
- Camoens (2/5): - The property doesn't look like a hotel, nothing work, the pool was out of service, the TV doesn't work, there is no wifi on property. A restaurant with no food and no beverage not even water. The room only has 2 outlet. If the tv is on that left you with one other choice. No iron or iron board. The worst i ever seen for that price
- UesLindsay (2/5): Worst hotel ever - The worst hotel w the worst, unfriendly staff on the planet
1 and half hour wait for food, no beach chairs, lights, locks on doors in the room are broken
Staff are shockingly outright mean.
Paid 35 k for 2 rooms. This is my 10 th time in Turks
First and last time here
Stay away!
- JIMY (4/5): - there was no wifi at all, i was there for four long days with no wifi. the staff was very nice, front desk was extremely professional and friendly. and it seemed like that management didn't care about the fact that there was no wifi in the whole place. i do not live there therefore i had to pay for the internet every single day out of pocket.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Everything it is very clean the service en General was execellent
- Jules (8/5): - J’ai été flatté par l’hospitalité et l’accueil a l’hôtel, jai deploré le manque de suivi des clients avant l’arrivée
- Verified traveler (8/5): - In general it was okay and clean. The staff was friendly. What I like the most was the food in the hotel restaurant was good and not too much expansive. The hotel is also close to the airport.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Lie on Description - There were no Wi-Fi, even though both the staff and their description online said there was Wi-Fi. Not right to mislead customers like this, especially if one's work require Wi-Fi.
And the customer service was also lacking. I would definitely not recommend this hotel.
- jimy (8/5): Needs a lot of work but okay. - The location was very convenient, but the free breakfast ends at 9 am, that’s mean after 9 am One has to pay to eat. The shower head was extremely dirty. The courtesy water In the fridge was very helpful. Overall the stay was okay.
- Verified traveler (2/5): THAT WAS A REALLY REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE. - I DID NOT REALLY EXPEND ALL MY TIME IN THIS HOTEL BUT THE DAYS THAT PASSED THERE WERE REALLY REALLY BAD. ALMOST CALLED FOR A REFUND. THE BREAKFAST IN THIS HOTEL WAS THE SAME THING EVERYDAY. ONE DAY WAS TAKING A SHOWER THE WATER CUT OFF RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF MY RISING MY BODY. IMAGINE THE FEELING OF IT.
COUPLE TIMES HAD TO RUN TO THE RECEPTIONIST TO ASK FOR TOWEL, ONE NIGHT CAME HOME AFTER THREE DAYS THE ROOM NEVER BEEN DONE WHEN I LEFT THE SIGN FOR SERVICE, THE WORST OF IT TOLD THE GUY OK GIVE ME TWO TOWELS AND I CAN DO THE BED MYSELF, HE OPENED 12 ROOMS CAN NOT FIND TOWELS.,
PLEASE I DESERVE A REFUND.
THANK YOU.
- Verified traveler (6/5): A regular hotel, did not meet expectations - The maid service is not very good.
- Steven (4/5): Won't go back! - From the beginning of our stay to the end this was pretty disappointing.
First they had no record of our reservation. I had gotten a room with two queen beds and took us, 4 men, to a room with one double bed! They did give us what I reserved but the girl who helped us had a bad attitude. The ac in our room worked, it sounded like it was on at least, but did not cool the room. One nice touch was a washed car when we woke up and we did get help for a flat tire. Overall this was a pretty disappointing experience.
- pinkflame1952 (8/5): friendly, helpful staff - This is a thoroughly Haitian hotel with clean rooms with well-working air conditioners, modern, fully-functioning bathrooms and very comfortable beds. There is an on-site restaurant that is reasonably priced and has good food. Breakfast is free in the morning with omelets, juice, good coffee. The staff is friendly and helpful. They went out of their way several times to make me comfortable. The hotel is near the airport and they offer transportation. I heave now stayed there 3 times either at the beginning or end of mission trips and would definitely go back again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Close to downtown or uptown - Lots of hot water, everything is tiled, service is very accommodating. Restaurant is in the basement and tends to be warm. Food needs lots of work. A/C and privacy was great and electricity was consistent.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Friendly staff good restaurant good food peace of mine near everything transportation airport is about 10 minutes.afordable price
- 389mickv (8/5): Surprisingly good - I expected very little from a hotel in Haiti. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the room. It was typical of low rate hotels in the US but I felt it was very good by Haiti standards. I did not have food there but the service in the restaurant / bar was excellent. The pool looked inviting but I did not have time to use it. Check-in and check-out were very good and the service all around was excellent.
- zino448 (10/5): Haiti cheri -
I must say a big thank you. Me and my family had a great time. Seven stars hotel staff work hard to keep their guest satisfied and happy. Service was great at all times we would visit their again. Thanks again! I love seven stars hotel and staff!
- Carl (4/5): It's just about time - It was just ok
- AsaT_13 (6/5): Seven Stars - This was an interesting trip. It was amission team of seven people requiring plenty of space due to lots of luggage. Thwe room was fine for our purposes except it was on the 4th floor with only stairs. The restaurant in which we were scheduled to have a continental breakfast in the AM lacked much of what was on the menu. However, the service was gratious and they tried their best. Being forewarned now I would still return under the circumstances. Remember, this Haiti.
- 942ashleighp (4/5): Pass on this one! - The power went out. Pool was very small. Rooms are tiny-- you have three feet on any side of the bed. No fridge or microwave. Desk with no chair. Good food but rip off. Two menus, creole one is cheaper. Food is good. Good breakfast (American: bacon, eggs, fruit) WiFi in building but not in room. Americans around/ English speakers. Airport transportation. Shuttle is sketch. They told us to wait thirty minutes; three hours later we had to get a taxi because it never showed.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Too much noise in the area - I didn't enjoy my stay at all.its terrible .not what I was expected at all.
- Verified traveler (2/5): They had no record of my booking. - I had to full price again in cash. This took most of the money we came with to help others.
- Hilson (4/5): Unpressive - Hotel needs an overall make over. Food is somewhat ok.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice and very friendly - Overall good experiance and good experiace
I would recommend to any one
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Not good
- karaMel007 (8/5): convenient location -- friendly/ helpful staff and management - aiming to satisfy his clientele - The fact that the owner will go the extra mile to satisfy the client.
I was very picky in choosing the room, I turned down 3 rooms (not because there was something wrong just because I wanted to find a certain angle for my photographs and the staff was very patient with all smiles in helping making my decision.
The bed is firm and well tidy. The sheets are clean and you sleep tight. Security is present and there is no noise at night. .it's really a good deal and you get picked up and dropped off at the airport. Instead of wandering in PAP if you do not have too much time to spend, you can make arrangement for a city tour with the establishment and they are very good at it. We are globetrotters and have tried many renowned hotels and we got lost in the crowd. Nobody really pays attention to details.
Having great and friendly management around is really the must.
At 7* you feel the love.
- Carl (6/5): take off time. - Water get cut off any time, but stay was ok.
- 347shaunam (4/5): What? - After we got to the hotel, I went back to trip advisor, looked at the photos posted and wondered where they came from. My hotel windows were boarded and the pool was down a dark stairwell. Free shuttle from the airport? I was charged 30 dollars for the 3km drive, which I was told later I should expect as a tourist. I feel like I have to warn people that this hotel was definitely not what I expected.
- Angelromigu (10/5): This place felt like home away from home - All I have to say is the food, the new rooms, and the staff were all remarkable. The staff made my stay so comfortable, and I really like the fact they have 24 hour security on ground. I was also able to get my hair, and nails done for an event I had to go to during my stay at Seven Stars Hotel. I can't stop bragging about the food! I would definitely recommend this Hotel.
- 847brigittep (10/5): Nice hotel! - This hotel was a welcome respite at the end of a long trip! Ask for Vincent to have all your needs met. There is AC, hot water, wifi, cable tv, free breakfast, and airport transport! A complete bargain for all of the services that are included.
- KEP-travels (10/5): Top Notch Haitian Hotel - In spite of the desperate condition of the citizens of the Haitian capital of Port au Prince, the Seven Stars Hotel is a welcome escape in the evenings after working/visiting in the vicinity. If you will be visiting Haiti and located in the PAP area, make The Seven Stars Hotel your home base.
The management for both the room and dining experiences were extremely accommodating to my group of 14 people here for mission purposes. There are conditions outside their control regarding the availability of electricity that they handled well and it was only momentary outages that we encountered over our week stay.
The food in the dining room was fresh, healthy, varied, and satisfied the diversity of my team. The. Management was extremely accommodating to the constant changes in our groups schedule which was extremely appreciated.
The rooms were very comfortable with expectations set of showers that are luke warm and air conditioning that might be too cool unless you speak to hotel management to correct the conditions. Security is pervasive throughout PAP and the hotel also has their own 24 hour security people. WiFi was not available in new section of hotel but was available in the dining room.
I would recommend the Seven Stars Hotel to visitors to PAP and make sure you work with hotel management that works hard to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
