Lukas (6/5): Alles in allem OK - Wir haben einige Tage im Carana Hilltop Villa auf den Seychellen verbracht und dort auch im Rahmen unserer Hochzeit übernachtet. Grundsätzlich möchten wir hervorheben, dass die Mitarbeiter durchweg sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend waren. Der Service war wirklich angenehm und herzlich. Die Anlage selbst ist schön gelegen, mitten in der Natur, und der Pool ist groß und sehr schön gestaltet. Allerdings ist das Hotel insgesamt deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Unser Zimmer wurde als „Luxury“ angeboten, hat sich jedoch nicht wie ein solches angefühlt. Zwar war es sehr geräumig, aber man merkt an vielen Stellen, dass Renovierungsbedarf besteht. Ein weiterer Punkt ist die Lage: Rund um das Hotel gibt es nichts – weder Restaurants noch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Ein Auto ist zwingend notwendig, um überhaupt essen gehen zu können. Leider gab es auch einen sehr negativen Vorfall, der unseren Aufenthalt stark überschattet hat. In der Nacht unserer Abreise kam es gegen 4 Uhr zu einem Einbruchsversuch. Ein Täter hat ein Fenster geöffnet und einen Rucksack samt Laptop aus dem Zimmer entwendet. Das bedeutet auch, dass sich jemand direkt vor dem Fenster aufgehalten und uns beobachtet haben muss, was sehr beunruhigend ist. Die Fenster wirkten insgesamt nicht besonders sicher, und die vorhandenen Sicherheitsmaßnahmen konnten den Vorfall nicht verhindern. Laut Management war die Kamera in diesem Moment nicht hilfreich, was zusätzlich Fragen aufwirft. Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung, wird jedoch schnell eintönig, da es täglich nahezu identisch ist. Positiv ist, dass die Früchte aus dem eigenen Garten stammen. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt in Ordnung, jedoch würden wir nicht erneut dort buchen. Aufgrund unserer Erfahrungen können wir die vielen sehr positiven Bewertungen leider nicht vollständig nachvollziehen.

Definitely recommend! - Beautiful landscapes, view from the back yard, view from the rooms, the fact that it is on a hill made the sunrise watching even more magical. The range of sitting areas, to chill, read a book or just rest in the shade. The beautiful garden with many beautiful trees. Amazing pool, with clean water! And the staff, was the loveliest most helpful staff I ever encountered. They helped us with every little step in our stay. Anything we needed, they helped us and even more. We are so grateful, thank you! It was really more than perfect

VALERIE (7/5): Sympa pour un séjour dans le Nord. - Le calme, la piscine, la gentillesse du personnel. Nous avions initialement réservé la petite chambre « cabane » or avec nos gros bagages, l’accès par l escalier en colimaçon s avérait un peu compliqué. Le responsable très arrangeant, nous a proposé une autre chambre sans supplément de prix. Soirées près de la piscine au TOP. Beaucoup de petits endroits pour se reposer Le calme implique que le logement est excentré. La voiture est obligatoire ! Pension de famille un peu « dans son jus » mais très propre.

Michael (10/5): Excelentní. - Mad a Rash jsou velmi přívětiví a ve všem nám pomohli. Po dvou nocích nám upbgradovali pokoj za luxusní s koupelnou stejně velikou, jako byl náš předešlý pokoj. Snídaně a večeře vyhovující. V této destinaci, jako všude na ostrově, se vyskytuje veliké množství Rusů, kteří jsou nepříjemní a neumějí žádný jazyk.

Mirjam (8/5): Tolle Unterkunft mit Aussicht und Pool - Sehr schön gelegene Unterkunft. Wir hatten den Balkon zu Nordseite mit wunderschönen Ausblick auf Berge und Meer. Für uns ein idealer Ausgangspunkt in Mahe. Die Zimmer sind sauber und ordentlich. Die Angestellten absolut nett und man schafft es, alle Wünsche irgendwie zu erfüllen. Toller Pool und man kann sich gut auf die große Veranda setzen. Wir konnten aber mit unserer italienischen Kaffeemaschine Kaffee kochen und hätten auch später an unserem letzten Tag noch Duschen können. Also sehr sehr nett. Wir hatten ein Zimmer, über dem ein anderes lag und wir hatten das Pech, dass die Leute schon um 5:30h aufstanden und abends spät ins Bett gingen. Das war recht laut.

The breakfast was great and delicious. As well as dinner. The room was comfortable and tidy the same with the whole villa. The staff can drive you to the nearest shop and the beach also picks you up if you need. The location is up a hill which is a great exercise for us to go up. Carana beach is nearby which is a wonderful place. The bus station is also nearby. Nothing.

Mark (8/5): Sehr gute Bed & Breakfast mit Charme - Die familiäre Atmosphäre bei nur 10 Zimmern und die persönliche Betreuung durch Manager Mathew und seinem Assistenten „Radch“. Der 1,60m bis 2m tiefe Pool war zu jeder Tages- und Abendzeit eine Erfrischung. Die Betten/Matratzen waren klasse. Aufgrund des steilen Anfahrtswegs zur Unterkunft und der Temperaturen um die 30 Grad war es fußläufig schwierig etwas zu unternehmen. Man benötigt hier einen Mietwagen

Nothing was too much trouble from Matthew welcoming and settling us in to Raj’s delicious breakfasts to Ramesh always being around to help us in after a day on the beach or just offering a friendly helping hand with pretty much anything and all this overseen by the watchful eye of Eileen, owner and grand dame. Comfortable spacious accommodation typical of what would be expected from a 4 star establishment, great locally sourced food, magnificent position with spectacular views, beautiful pool. Peaceful quiet and restful atmosphere combined with good service and great food and efficient and friendly staff, made it a very pleasant snd stress free stay. Highly recommended.

Aileen was Most charmant Lady and Raj was always helping in every situation. The chicken Curry was delicious. Car rental was easy managed by the hotel too and they have a shutter service to take you and pick you up from the main road. I wouldn’t recommend to write WhatsApp messages to the guests before they arrive at the location. Maybe is not that bad for others but I prefer, that the communication is only via Booking App.

Fresh fruit from the garden for breakfast and the avocado from the tree at the balcony was amazing. Beautiful beach right below the hotel at a walking distance of 5 minutes. Loved it!

We went to solely relax and that's what we got . The bed was a little hard for me but the bath was nice but no plug . That would've helped my back but I do suffer with it so that's not down to the hotel .

And the manager also told us many good sightseeing places. They clean well and it was fun to play in the pool even night time. Thank you! You need a car for sure. Because this place is very high on the hill. And this hotel was good, but we stayed another place too on this time and that had more things in it and it was cheaper.

They made my stay more comfortable and enjoyable. The location as the name mentions is on a hill going down very easy going up will make you get stronger legs. The Food was okay. The pizza was definitely not italian like not even some close to the taste of a pizza. I think the dough is what makes it taste like something I don't know. I can't even describe. The staff deserve 10 stars. But for the comfort 5 so in total 6. Raj the man for everything has prepared anytime we wanted and what we wanted to have for breakfast and for dinner. The chicken was tasty and the portion was huge. The furniture and the beds are really old and very hard. Felt like sleeping on marble. The price of the food. I have never seen such expensive country for such tasteless kitchen than Seychelles. The hotel food is rather standard than averagely low standard for Seychelles
Urska (9/5): We were satisfied with the accomodation and we really appreciate all the help Mathew provided to us regarding car rental - Good location, helpfulness of the staff Unfortunately the pool could not be used sue to cleaning or renovation. We actually booked the accomodation because of the pool, but then we were not able to use it.

Jermanka (9/5): Superb - Mattew is very kind, he arrenged the car rent. The villa is about 10' walk from bus stop (hill). If you need a drive to the market or bus stop there is a shuttle. The breakfast is ok (fruits, eggs, tea, coffee) The door in the bathroom.

Najmuddin (6/5): The price does not justify the stay. - The host Matthew was really nice and informative There is a kitchen using which is a task in itself. There was a bathtub but you can't use it as there was no cap.
Katherina (8/5): Thank you, I had a great time, also due to your hospitality! - I immediately felt on vacation. The accommodation is cosy, the staff very friendly and supportive. I was travelling on my own and without a car and received help to go grocery shopping and in finding my way around by bus. Even when I got lost once, help was only a phone call away. Thank you for enabling a great vacation and time out!
San (3/5): Disappointing, there are much better options available at the same price - Staff were helpful Far from main locations (like Beau Valon beach)
