- Theresa (8/5): Great Staff and Nice hotel - Very friendly staff and nice hotel. The only drawback was that the pool was out of service.
- Jodi (6/5): - The rooms need attention with some patches on walls but no paint repair and it didn't look like housekeeping had vacuumed. A tornado went through this area so they are working on things. Breakfast was the best!

- Dianna (8/5): - It was in okay condition, the carpet was worn and dirty looking, the mattress was hard, the building looked fairly old and run down. The staff was amazing, very nice. The outside was very well landscaped. The breakfast was nicely presented and clean area. The nearby neighborhood was somewhat like a junkyard, but that’s not the hotels fault. The bathroom had half of the lights burned out, and the room was very very dark, it was hard to do my makeup. Bring a light. The pillows were excellent and the sheets seemed clean and fresh. It was bug free and quiet. Probably the best place in town, so there’s that.

- Lisa (6/5): A rocky start - Checked in around 8 p.m. after a long day. Was given a key and went to room only to find the beds unmade. Went back down and promptly received new room assignment. The staff is VERY nice. No complaints there. I was told the hotel is under new management and they are aware of cleaning staff issues. Hotel is a little run down. Ice maker out of order on my floor. Pool is closed. Feels like it needs a little cleaning. The air freshener is pumping strong, though! Lol.

Side exit door (emergency exit) is out of order. So many out of order signs everywhere. Room was not cleaned well and not keep up with at all. Breakfast was actually decent and workers were nice.

- Michael (8/5): Great place! - The room was great, the beds were amazing, the bathroom had amazing soaps! Breakfast was phenomenal!! The only bad thing is that their elevator was/is out and estimated will be out for at least another week. Which out us on the 4th floor. Normally, I wouldn't have minded, but my mom was accompanying me, and she has a problem with balance. We were worned that the elevator was broken, but were hoping that they could have moved us down. Lastly, I appreciate the document i received at check out noting i was there because it was a business trip and am required to have a "receipt " for tax purposes. I had recently been denied one at a previous place.
- Donald (4/5): Friendly Staff but Disappointing - I want to say that all staff we encountered were friendly and pleasant, which I appreciate and makes me hate to give this review. I understand that things happen, but the elevators were broken both nights we stayed, which meant lugging heavy luggage up and down the stairs for check-in/check-out. Again, I understand things break, it's just one of those things that took away from the positives. The breakfast options did look good, although we did not eat there. The most disappointing thing was the cleanliness of the carpeting throughout the entire hotel. Carpeting at one of the exit doors on the first floor was largely and badly stained, likely by rain water leaking in. Stains here and there in the hallways. The worst though, was the bad stains on the carpet in our room. Some smaller red stains near the lounger chair and larger, darker circular stains in between the bed and chair. It just made the room feel dirty and I would expect these are minor issues that can easily be addressed. This property has a lot of potential; hopefully these things can be cleared up.

The receptionist said it was a "little green" which was far from the truth and a BIG disappointment. Also our refrigerator had ice cream in it. :(

- JENNIE (6/5): - Until now we have never been disappointed in a HIE. The pool was cloudy, green and smelly. The large light which should have been hooked the the side of the pool was floating by a wire. The gym was closed. They were out of towels and gave us pool towels. Due to lack of staff, rooms were only serviced by request. The stopped putting anything out for breakfast at 9:00 even though breakfast was served until 10:00. The beds were extremely hard. Our room seemed clean but other areas such as the hallways and elevator were not.

THE DEADBOLT LOCK WOULDN’T WORK. We probably will not stay there again.
- Cale (6/5): Not staying there again. - Tired of selecting a king bed with couch and coffee table (where I could relax and work while watching tv), and instead getting a chaise lounge and tiny side table. There's a reason you don't show these in photos - no one wants them. Also, night attendant at front desk had boyfriend keeping her company. Not so bad except he first downed 2 large beers (followed by belching) and later in evening moved onto a bottle of whiskey. His music on his phone got louder as he drank.

The room was cleaned quickly efficiently. There are stores and restaurants within walking distance Easy parking Definitely would stay here again

- Robbie (4/5): - Easy to find and park. Staff was good, breakfast was decent, and coffee was ok. First room we were assigned (216) smelled like Snoop Dogg and Willie Nelson had a party in it the night before. We asked for another room (322) and it had no towels and was nasty. There was hair all over the bathroom wall, the desk chair was worn out and nasty, and the linens and pillows smelled really bad. And to the idiot down the hall on 3rd floor that was cussing and raving at 6 in the morning on Sunday so everyone could hear it, I hope your life gets worse. If I am getting a Motel 6 quality room, I should have been charged a Motel 6 rate. Very displeased.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - The room was very spacious and comfortable and yhe hotel is near lots of dining options. The staff was very friendly and helpful. However, it appeared we might have gotten a room that wasn't frequently used. There was not enough linen to accommodate our family the day we arrived. We had to wait for towels to finish washing. We also experienced a few ants/bugs in certain areas of the room.
- tracy (4/5): - After waiting 10-15 minutes, we had to search for someone to check us in. Got to the room and it was dirty, many ants in the window, stained carpets, stained linens, carpet was wet from a/c. Asked for a different room, but it was worse than the first.
- April (2/5): - Hotels.com charged me $139 for a root put it on my credit card and then when I got the hotel room they asked me for my debit card to verify and they charged me $99 more which means to think that you all don't have your services put together very well and to that hotel. Mom has charged me $40 more than just stopping at our calling the hotel itself I want you to refund my hundred and $39

- Kristen (6/5): Pros and cons - The good: The staff was nice. The bed was very comfortable! Overall the room was very clean... but.... The bad: There was lots of black hair in the shower drain...see picture below. And the coffee creamer in the lobby was 20 days expired... luckily there’s a Starbucks down the road.
- Michelle (4/5): Unsatisfied guest - When we arrived the guest services was setting in the commons area on her cell phone, we had to make 2 trips to get key cards that actually worked, our room was incredibly hot and unable to adjust the temp, was moved to another room that was absolutely filthy. The shower was so bad we didn’t use it.
- Anthony (10/5): Hopefully it returns back to normal. - It's hard to judge any hotel nowadays. We have stayed at this hotel several times and there are two main reasons why we stay there. First, the beds are always comfy and second, the breakfast is great because we are trying to get on the road early in the morning. However, with Covid-19 the buffet is shut down and there is no attendant. I would have to say moving forward the only reason to get a hotel would be because of the beds. Thank God those are still comfy. I do think there needs to be complete transparency on any booking agent as to what exactly has been removed without having to call.
