• Michaels (9/5): Nice stay - Location to food and Walmart. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable. Need to upgrade desk for more USB ports. The bathroom has rust from a water problem in the room above ours.

• rhondab868 (10/5): Got Dogs? This is your place! - Country Inn and Suites at Nevada MO is my go-to stopover while traveling south. I've got two 70lb dogs and the hotel always accommodates me. They put me on the first floor near an exit for easy out with the pups. The breakfast is always hot, well stocked and well done.
• Sarah (2/5): Dirty, rundown hotel that’s insanely overpriced. - The pool and gym were good The service wasn’t great I waited at the front desk and made eye contact with multiple staff and was ignored the bell was behind the desk. The rooms were very outdated, this hotel charges the same as modern updated hotels but hasn’t been updated. It needs to be updated or the prices need to be lowered. The rooms were rusty, the ceiling tiles were messed up, the water smelled awful in the shower, and our room keys stopped working halfway through our stay. This was probably the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had.
• G6851ELashleyt (2/5): Rude staff, do not go here. - Rude staff especially the blonde lady at the desk, as soon as we got in the room we checked for cleanliness like we always do when we travel and stay at hotels, well the room stunk, the sheets on the pull out couch were used the mattress has holes everywhere, there was a “white” stain on the arm of the couch, the bed sheets stunk, there were hair and stains all over the mattress and sheets, stains on the wall & hand prints on the framed art work behind the bed. When I called and asked for fresh sheets before I even saw the stains, hair and handprints she was rude and insinuated that I was lying about the sheets being not clean she said “well I have to come look at it” and then when she got to the room she said it doesn’t look used and I said you can tell they are and they stink she said well can you come down and get the sheets then when we were fed up and turned the keys in about 5 minutes later she started getting an attitude again with me and told my husband she can’t do a refund because her boss isn’t there, night shift “normally” doesn’t deal with this kind of thing which is probably a lie considering the amount of complaints this place has. She gave us a paper that was not a confirmation of anything and when my husband asked about it she cut him off, got defensive & started giving him an attitude. As of this writing we still did not receive our refund and we didn’t even bring our stuff into the room, I will be contacting whoever I need to about this hotel that needs to get new staff or get shut down.

Bed was super hard and pillows are pretty non existent. 4 pillows on a bed and still had to find them in half.

I have photos to prove all these things. - The only decent thing was the breakfast In a horrible state of disrepair ….the sink had a ton of cracks in it, the vanity is pulling away from the wall, metal frame around bathroom door filled with rust, no electrical outlets near the bed for sound machines or sleep apnea machines,worn out carpeting, ice machine not working…horrible total experience. You should really refund our money! I have photos to prove all these things

• Victoria (6/5): A few bumps in the road and renovations so desperately needed but was a comfortable stay. - The breakfast area and the two ladies that are sisters that took of this area did an exceptional job. Everything was always clean and they were helpful and friendly and kept everything well stocked. I looked forward to seeing them in the morning. They are wonderful at there jobs . A++ I have stayed in this hotel multiple times over the years. I do believe the current owner is really trying but is challenged by the road construction. The hotel is in need of repairs it looked like it has had a lot of use but not alot of renovations. The floor in my room made my feet black and when I would get in the shower I would have this black run off from my feet. The lobby and entrance are nice, but the rooms are showing wear. I was surprised that out of a four day stay I received a text immediately after checking in that the rooms would be serviced every three days. I did request service day two and I was brought towels. I have never been to a hotel where when requesting service the bed was left not made. The ceiling in the bathroom had water stains and the corner of the shower had mold. I went to the Walmart next store and purchased Clorox wipes. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I did feel bad for the hotel because of the ongoing construction that I think is really hurting there business.

• Guest (9/5): This motel, with it's friendly staff and convenient location, was a great place to stay. - The location was really convenient to the highway and there were plenty of restaurants nearby. There was also a Walmart super close. The housekeeping staff, breakfast attendant, and all the front desk workers were very friendly and helpful. The drive leading to the parking lot was absolutely full of potholes. Also, our toilet felt as though it was not secured to the floor.

• trudesuter (4/5): Business and leisure - I’ve stayed at the Country Inn in Nevada, MO several times, and unfortunately the experience has been consistently disappointing. The facility is not well maintained, and many basic amenities are either out of order or poorly functioning. The pool is often closed, which is frustrating, especially since this has happened during multiple stays. The ice maker has also not worked the last three times I visited, which suggests ongoing maintenance issues that aren’t being addressed. Housekeeping does the best they can, but it’s clear they don’t have much to work with. The bathrooms, in particular, are not well kept. There is noticeable rust throughout, and during my most recent stay, there was very little to no hot water, making showers uncomfortable and difficult. Overall, this hotel needs significant updates and better attention to maintenance. While the staff I’ve encountered has been polite, the condition of the facility makes it hard to recommend. I hope management invests in improvements soon, as the location could be convenient if the property were properly maintained.

Like mostly the hotels these days have toilets way too close to the ground but this one at least had a bar you could hold on to to get up. The hot breakfast was excellent and the person staffing up went out of her way not to just take care of that but catch the door if you were going out with your luggage whatever really on the ball
