- Helen (1/5): My experience is really bad at first they gave me the wrong room had to redo my paperwork and then the room that they ga - Yes, the property looked like that, but it was connected to the comfort inn .The hall was so long. The front desk was at the Comfort Inn. There was no available parking hardly ever the staff oh man, the staff. Very crowded, very combined, not at all what I expected

- Larry (6/5): Not So Good Stay - Te room we were in was not the room I had booked. I booked a suite with separate bedroom and living room. Whaat we ended up with was a one room everything room. The lady at the front desk was very rude and claimed I got the room I ad reserved. We did manage to see the room next door that was the suites type we reserved which was very disappointing. The property landscape and outside area was not maintained and cluttered with trash. We won't be staying at MainStay in the future. I had stayed in the adjoining Comfort Inn 3 weeks earlier and found it to be much better.

I went to ask the front desk what happened, and she acted like I was annoying her, and was very rude to me. Said it was the cleaning lady. But my daughter told her it wasn't, after the housekeeper came to the front my daughter explained it was not her. But the front desk woman. Kept insisting it was. It is terribly unsafe and even worse customer service. Not to mention being cat called by the men drinking in the parking lot all night!! Also, many of the pieces of furniture were broken, the desk the coffee table looked as if the makeshifted it together with pieces of another table. Broken and missing tole in the restroom. Holes in the wall. All together, it was a bad experience. Will not be going back!

- Jarrett (2/5): - Terrible experience due to the room condition. The table was broken and had the leg propped up against it. The ceiling has some holes patched that had the plaster still dangling from it. The tile flooorng was coming apart everywhere. The lamp was broken and overall the quality of all the furniture and even the tv being mounted to the wall gives you a feeling of a ran down hotel. Much dirtier than the pictures eluded

- 530billst (10/5): Mainstay was a comfort in Hobbs - Alexys was super helpful when I lost my key and always ready to help with a smile. Room was clean and AC/Heater worked quickly as the weather changed. Breakfast service was also superb. Housekeeping is always friendly and working hard inside and outside of the room.

- Miguel (4/5): Disappointing - The rooms were very nice I like the way it’s set up very comfortable I didn’t like that the tv in the bedroom wouldn’t work the remote wouldn’t work and asked front desk for help said she had no maintenance man and couldn’t help me get it to work, then the pool was closed? I guess they can’t get the door to open and even maintenance couldn’t open it which was sucked because my daughter was really looking forward for that. And in the bathroom there’s two tiles that are cracked and there carpet missing in the living room

Me and my mom have been here a few times and we will keep coming back enjoy a nice weekend away. Rey and Amanda are very welcoming and helpful with any questions we have. Feels like home away from home.

- Kyleen (2/5): Run Down, Poor Service - I gave this property a second chance because I like the layout of the room. I regret that. The first time it was ants and I had to purchase my own ant spray. I wasn’t offered anything for the inconvenience. This time I drove in late with my kids. They not only double charged my card, I had to walk all the way to front from the separate suites building 4 times because my key cards weren’t working. I’ve machines didn’t work and they refused to allow me a late check out because it “added stress on the staff”. I asked for a manager multiple times, they weren’t onsite, nor did they call me at my request.

I stay at Mainstay Suites often for business and the accommodations are great and the rooms are clean. One of my favorite places to stay!
- Jesse (9/5): Superb - I liked this hotel because it was spacious, clean, and in a great location. It felt safe. The housekeepers did an amazing job making the room feel clean and welcoming. All my requests were met. We had fun swimming, enjoyed the free breakfast, and slept great. The front desk clerk was a bit cold and rude. I didn't catch her name but blonde wearing glasses.

Great rooms, 2 hotels joined with big rooms, some rooms with full kitchens for extended stays. Excellent stay for price, friendly hotel staff, very clean and comfortable. Next to green meadows lake, beautiful views, fishing, romantic stroll, or picnic at the covered tables.

GM Amanda and Alexys have been extremely helpful, kind, and professional. The rooms are very clean. House keeping does an amazing job as well! This place feels like home especially with the help of amazing staff. Rey was also extremely helpful with my tv needing a quick fix! This place is our home away from home. Amazing prices as well! My room came with everything I would need in the mainstays. A huge thank you to Amanda, Rey, and Alexys!

All because I asked if she worked at the hotel, after she came in yelling about there being 14 ppl in pool and the capacity was 13 never once did she advise us of who she was, nor did she introduced herself. I guess I was rude for asking who she was, so they took it out on the other guest.

- Amber (8/5): I will stay here again on my next trip to Hobbs - I traveled with my family and I was very happy with the size of our room. The complimentary breakfast was impressive. I appreciate that my picky little eaters enjoyed a nice breakfast. This made our trip easier to get our day started. In addition, the staff was very helpful by letting us extend our check out time by an hour. I really appreciated that! The pull out bed from the couch was stuck and we were uable to use it.

- Granny_Annie327 (8/5): Great stay in Hobbs, New Mexico - Second stay at Mainstay Suites in Hobbs, this time in Room 112. Spacious king bed suite. Has living room/kitchen area and separate bedroom each with own heat/air control and a TV. Huge bathroom with tub/shower and grab bars. Shower head mounted high (at 4'11" could not reach to adjust but hubby could). Chocolate chips cookies and coffee in the lobby, and fruit and oatmeal were still available in the evening. Room door was VERY heavy (a little hard for me to open). In-room coffee maker, hairdryer, and clock. Walk through a corridor to the Comfort Suites for a great breakfast. I'll be back! Thank you Mainstay!

The fold out couch was broke and didnt allow anyone to even sit on the couch. The matteress inside was dirty and stained as well. The air was. Stagnant and thermostats didnt work. We tried the a/c and it was barely cool. The shower has abysmal water pressure and if you turned it up then temp was scalding hot only.

- Alice (6/5): - I haven’t made a review for this property yet even though my stay was in mid-May because I wanted to give a fair and balanced review, not something that was biased due to annoyance. It’s easy to summarize what was good; the room we had was well appointed, clean and comfortable. The a/c worked well. We liked the kitchen area and the refrigerator. The breakfast was varied and tasty. The employee who maintained the breakfast area during the week was very nice. Even when there was a lot of people it was kept tidy. And we loved having biscuits and gravy! What we did not enjoy is harder to explain since we did not overtly complain. The elevator was broken nearly the entire length of our 10 day stay; we arrived on a Friday and it was broken by Saturday night and was still broken the Monday morning we checked out. We talked to the front desk manager on the Sunday, understandably it couldn’t be seen on a weekend, but after it was seen Monday and we talked again to the manager, we were told a part had to be ordered. We were on the top, third floor; I could have asked to be moved but I know the hotel was full at the time. But it was annoying, least of all because it took days for an “out of order” sign to appear and we would push the button and hope the elevator was working. Another issue was a sewage-like smell that was in the third floor hallway during the last three days of our visit which luckily did not extend into our room.

- Granny_Annie327 (6/5): Mostly good stay in Hobbs, NM - Overall a pretty good stay in Room 229. This place is shared with Comfort Suites (check-in and breakfast are on the Comfort Suites side). The good: cold AC, choice member gift bad on arrival, one-king bed suite, nice suite layout with small kitchen counter/island with chairs, bright lighting, comfortable bed and pillows, good breakfast (eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, yogurt, waffles, cereal, juice, fruit, pastries, coffee). The not-so-good: door rubs on floor when opening/closing, paint on bedspread, dent in lamp shade, stain in bathtub low water pressure in shower, elevator was out of order. Room could use a little TLC :( A short walk to Green Meadow Park which has a fishing pond with ducks and a playground...nice little refresher. Pleasant staff. I would book again.

We did book through a 3rd party showed we had a room but when we got there we had no room you guys didn’t even have the correct card on file. The shower wasn’t clean tjere was either soap scum or white residue all over the wall. There was dirty wash clothes hanging from the shower curtain

- Verified traveler (2/5): Avoid the elevators! - The lady behind the desk was very sweet! Our room was nice. However when I made the reservation I asked for first floor, due to my mother being disabled and my husband just had shoulder surgery 2 days prior. They couldn’t accommodate so okay, moved on. That Sunday came around the elevator is broke we’re on the 3rd floor. This is our 3rd time staying here and every time the elevator breaks. It’s either the comfort or the main stay. We have 3 kids, a mother that’s disabled and a husband that can’t lift. It was a disaster. I couldn’t wait around for maintenance to come and fix it.

- drexelg2023 (10/5): amazing - Service from front desk Alexys and assistant Manager Easter were the best you can ask for ! They made you feel as if you were at home ! I highly recommend most welcoming hotel you can find in New Mexico !

- Dedra (6/5): - It is a good room for people who live in a hotel. The air conditioner worked sporadically. The room was not very cool. The halls and elevator were hot. It had a funny smell like the carpet was kind of mildewed. The breakfast was good. I don’t think I would stay there again for a weekend trip
