Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good location to every service. The only troublesome thing was wifi. It was on and off. Could do with a better connection.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - IT IS WALKING DISTANCE TO TOWN. ROOM WAS PLAIN, ONLY MOVIES IN ROOM (NO TELEVISION STATION) WATER LEAKED IN SHOWER,NO AMERICAN AC PLUG NEAR BED OR DRESSER. MANAGEMENT WAS EXTRA NICE.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The hot breakfast was much better than expected. Location was convenient for me. Nice view.
There was a lot of water damage in the ceiling in the bathroom. The shower had no pressure- barely a trickle coming out more from the sides of the ancient and dirty shower head.
Wi-Fi was completely unusable in the room- had to stand outside to get access.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Location was perfect...close proximity to main town so walking to and fro was not a problem. Ideal for transportation. Facility needs an upgrade - paint job and such.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Breakfast was great compliments to thw chief and wonderful staff. We had a lovely stay it was a home away from home. We were comfortable. Lovely view of the town and close by islands.
- Sean (8/5): - Breakfast every morning was a healthy serving - usually consisting of toast, eggs and some fruit.
Khalid definitely knew how to start the day right.
I did have a few minor issues as it relates to plumbing but they were addressed very quickly.
- ceri (10/5): Beautiful guesthouse - My experience was amazing. The location is in a nice area about 7mins walk from the botantical gardens which was lovely. Kingstown is about a 10 min walk away and was nice to explore. The breakfast at the hotel was great and Callie and Marvin where exceptional hosts. The rooms were also well kept and were definetly up to my standards. Would recommend as well as stay again upon my return
- Jeffrey (6/5): - A bit noisy at night with toilet malfunction and air conditioner making noise (fine once I shut both off). Shower wasn't draining freely. Friendly staff and the breakfast in the morning was very good. Wifi not available in my room but was working fine in the outdoor reception area. Very nice view from the balcony overlooking the harbour.
- Merita (10/5): Guest House walking distance to down town. - It's my second time at Fairview and I already feel like family. Marvin is accommodating and helped our brief stay to be comfortable. We will definitely be back, with more friends. Thank you to the staff at Fairview Guest House.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Hanging on to faded glory... - This property has seen better days... Alas, it looks nothing like the photos! Peeling paint, broken boards and a dirty yard were very off-putting.
I booked last minute on a business trip to SVG, and after suffering through the first night in a stuffy room (the AC unit wasn't cooling) kept awake by a leaky faucet, I was ready to check out! Unfortunately they don't accept cancellations but I managed to change rooms. For the rest of the time, I just grinned and bore it. Never again!
- M&M (8/5): Lovely guesthouse near to the town - My husband and I stayed at the Fairview guesthouse from Dec 27 to Jan 2. We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The staff members were very helpful and went out of their to please. We are thankful for the great service provided.
- Caramel (10/5): Affordable, 5 min walk to town - My stay was amazing! The view up hill was nice you have a partial sea view, windy and nice. The staff there are great, Callie was so nice and patient, made sure I had whatever I needed. It's like home away from home, the customer Service is excellent, WiFi sucks throughout the whole island, other than that I enjoyed everything and I'll definitely be back again 😊😊
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location , easy transportation, beautiful room , excellent breakfast, it was very creative each morning, although it was basically the same thing, with some variations, some renovations needed to the exterior of the building, and the staff they were informative about the country , excellent in their job ,willing to help, they were great
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel close to town - Had a wonderful time thanks Marvin for all your help and Cally for all the wonderful food you made. 10 min walk to town or if feeling lazy 1 ec $ . Close to supermarket and a bakery at the bottom of the gap. I can't thank the staff enough for their support
- Kaviii (8/5): Nice place very close to the heart of Kingstown. - Very friendly accomodating staff. Delicious breakfast and has an amazing view of the city at a very affordable price.
- Juno (6/5): Comfortable and peaceful Guest House - We had a good and comfortable stay at this guest house recently. The staff are extremely helpful and easy going and breakfast was quite good. There is a real home away from home feeling about this place.
If you are looking for an quiet, peaceful but economic vacation, nothing too fancy, I would definitely recommend them.
- selma (8/5): Nice hotel in the city. - Everything was excellent ,the hotel the staff, the flight was great.
- Mary (8/5): - not a luxury hotel, but we prefer local places, not chains. Excellent chef, take advantage of requesting local menu. we were within easy walking distance of downtown; check out little local bars and restaurants. go to ship terminal for craft and gift shopping. we took taxi twice, then tried local buses-fun, crowded, inexpensive. people here helpful and friendly. Take a "formal" tour of island, worth the money. We stayed a week, laid back, as busy as you want to make it. Refrigerator in room, tv, no phone.
- Shane (6/5): - It was alright the chef was on point, minor issues like a leaking toilette and the ceiling falling apart and a soap wrapper was on the wall of the shower and but the breakfast and the way the chef dealt with us was outstanding he made us look past everything.
- Sonia (2/5): - My stay was terrible, the rooms are over rated and it's nothing as advertised. My room was leaking, the stove in the rooms looks like something from the dump. We booked an executive room with 2 Queen beds instead we got blown up beds. So disappointed had to leave. I must say that staff was friendly and helpful
