- Justin (8/5): - Staff was very kind a check in and explained things well. The room was fine. We had the a/c set to 64, however it never really cooled down so sleeping was tough, but we only stayed one night. Upon leaving the cleaning staff we passed in the hallway were very friendly.
- Heath (8/5): - Location is in a nice cul-de-sac with a grocery store and coffee shop within easy walking distance. Breakfast was good with decent options. It was a relatively quiet location, did hear a train occasionally but it wasn't disruptive to my sleep.

- David (8/5): - We were in room 101 it smelled like mold, and there was water on the carpet in front of the TV. We didn’t know where it was coming from. It worked but probably wouldn’t come back.

- GERALD (10/5): - The housekeeper and front desk girl were super friendly and nice. Lobby very inviting with a beautiful stair case. It's only 2 floors, and had to carry up the luggage. Not sure if they had an elevator, but our room was at the top of stairs so just took stairs.

- Janice (8/5): The Brick Wedding Stay! - * I was not aware there was no elevator, and we were put on the second floor. I have breathing issues, and it was hard for me to go up and down the stairs. They tried to make a change to the first floor, but they couldn't make it happen. * I loved the "makeup" towel! * They only had flavored tea; they should offer a plain black tea. *The staff very nice as well as our stay.

- donwmn (10/5): Great stay - We just wanted to get away for the night, and we chose Grandstay. What a great decision!! We didn't have a reservation, check in was easy and very quick. The front desk lady was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and the good spots to eat. It is hard to believe this hotel is 18 years old. From the moment you walk in, you feel like the staff want you there. The pool and hot tub are very nice. It was nice and clean. THey even have a little bar for a night cap. The front desk person is also the bartender. The room was nice and clean and beds were great. They even have Aveda shampoo and conditioner!!! We loved the breakfast, they have lots of options, like biscuits and gravy and scrambled eggs. Breakfast was very well stocked.

My room was very clean, and in great condition. The breakfast was good and had a great variety of choices! I will definitely come back again and stay!

For the amount of money that we were charged for this room and not be able to use the hot tub and pool due to it having issues with the temperature control was super disappointing. - Rhonda (6/5): - It was very hard to figure out what Road to follow to get onto the property in the dark. The check in girl was a bit "cool" towards us. We checked in around 8:45 pm or so. I think it was cuz I dinged the bell. We were standing there with suitcases slung over our shoulder and I didnt' see anyone behind the desk. You could use an elevator.

Very disappointing after a long hot drive excited to rest in the pool/hot tub to find out it was ice cold. We would have stayed elsewhere if we knew the poo/hot tubs heaters were broken.

- nancywP8255HT (8/5): Satisfactory+ - Three of us stayed one night. The room was clean (although the bathroom didn't smell the freshest) and the beds were comfortable, with soft sheets and different pillows to choose from. Good options available on the large TV and wifi worked well. Although the pool area was clean, the actual pool and hot tub were not. We showered when we got back to the room. The lobby and breakfast area were clean. It was a good breakfast, though not many options. When checking in Sunday night, we requested a late check-out of noon (just an extra hour) and were told we would be charged an extra $25. Upon checking out Monday, the front desk staff did not charge us, which was very appreciated.
- jeffnsallyc (10/5): Spur of Moment Stay at GrandStay Perham - We were having plumbing issues and had to wait for a plumber to come out at our house so we decided to book a night and stay at Grandstay in Perham. This is a nice hotel close proximity to a great Coffeeshop and also Grocerystore. Is in a quiet location in town. They were repaving the parking lot at the time and I had crutches I had recently broken my foot and they allowed my husband to park on the grass on the side of the building so didn't have to walk so far. They have spacious rooms,comfortable beds and pillows, good coffee and I am picky as I am a coffee drinker, and decent amenities. They have a nice pool however we didn't use that as I had crutches and they have a nice breakfast however we didn't take advantage of that as we went thru the coffeeshop drivethru on the way home. I had booked the hotel online and when checking in they gave us the best possible price for our room which was lower than the online quote said and their staff was very friendly and nice also the hotel was very clean and rooms were very clean. Only have good things to say about this hotel and location. Is a good value for a nights stay and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again if ever needed to or were in the area. Is a great option if needed to stay around Perham.
- Richard (8/5): Good night rest. - The only complaint I have is the water pressure in the shower was horrible. I'm assuming they have water saver shower heads. Everything was nice and clean and very nice. Friendly staff and good place to stay.

Bathroom door doesn’t close and was put on hinges a few different ways without fixing. bathtub for a king room was not something appropriate sized for a room.

- Douglas (2/5): - Wife got sick and couldn't travel 1-1/2 days before arrival date. Notified hotel immediately but neither Expedia or GrandStay would refund any of the full price we paid for a stay we never made. We plan to make this trip soon and often for family in Perham, MN, but will never use Expedia or stay at GrandStay.

Breakfast options were pretty standard for 3- to 4-star hotel: continental plus, and even the option of regular or pumpkin spice waffles. My bed in room 218 was a little too firm for my comfort, but I didn't hear any other complaints from the group.
