Check in and check out was so easy! No issues at all! Could have used an extra blanket, it got cold and the blanket we had was a bit thin.

And the property could use a trimming of trees to get a better view of the river from different cabins. Our view was good but I stayed before and did not have a great view

• Rhonda (7/5): In warm weather it would be a nice place to float. A short hop to Gruene and New Braunfels. - The bed was comfortable, room was clean. The view of the river was nice. There is a microwave and large refrigerator. The walls are all painted a charcoal/black color which makes it very dark. If traffic noise bothers you I’d bring a fan or noise machine. It’s almost constant. There are several large holes in the deck where barrels with flowers once sat.

We were able to float the water and get out right at the property. On the down side, road noise from big trucks and motorcycles was a bit annoying. The text the day before that they moved us to cabin 7 which was much smaller had one AC in the bedroom that made it too cold and everything else hot. Was not the romantic getaway I was hoping for we could hear everyone outside of our cabin aka “room” and made it hard to relax. Was a bit disappointed.

It was somewhat quiet, although we could hear traffic sounds. But the stars were amazing. We had coffee on the balcony whole the kids played at the little park that is on site

The path down to the river and the wedding venue were quite lovely too. The walls are super thin and you can hear everything from the room adjacent. When we went to make up the sofa bed, we discovered that the sheets had a big dirty stain on them. Of course, there is no contacting management after 5 unless there is an emergency. I left a message, and they contacted me just after 9am telling me they'd be right over, so we waited. And waited. After I messaged them back an hour later, they finally sent someone from housekeeping who just took the sheets and handed me a roll of toilet paper (?? ..we already had 2 extra) and said sorry. The manager texted later saying the housekeeper "just explained that the sheets were less lustrous and possibly older" (they were gross). No apologies about the sheets or attempts at assuaging the incident. Long story short: It is a beautiful setting, and overall a good experience, but don't rely on management.

The bathroom mirror was slightly cracked at the bottom and the drain to the sink appeared a bit dirty. • Lindsay (9/5): Renovated cabins with beautiful patios right above the Guadalupe! - Location is stunning! You can walk down to the Guadalupe River and put your feet in! I'm a little partial to this location, because my husband and I had our wedding reception here over a week ago. It's super close to several restaurants, White Water Ampitheatre and it's so easy (and free!) to tube here! I liked seeing the racoon at night, but they rifle through the trash cans, leave a mess, and it looks like people are leaving behind the trash in the grass below the balconies.

• Alba (6/5): - Very nice grounds but inside the room not so much. Overall the place felt dingy. First impression was a smell of sweat when we opened the door. The towels also had the same smell. To top it off, one of the two beds had bed bugs, the next morning bug bites all over exposed skin. There seemed to be blood spots on two of the pillowcases. Mattresses and pillows were not the best either. The bathroom wall had holes, one from the door not having a door stop. Overall, the property does not seem to be well maintained and housekeeping not the best either. Finally, no spot lights on the property entrance to show the name or entrance to facilitate finding the place at night.

The mattress was comfortable, the multiple shower heads were convenient, the steep stairs were not an issue for our toddler and the entire loft was so clean!! We will definitely be back!!!

Overall it was a very pleasant experience. The first night we stayed there was some kind of noise coming from the outside which scared us and the next they some of the guests were a little loud. It was not terrible but would have preferred none.

We rated it low because there was tissue shoved into the holes in the walls mainly the bathroom area, the hot water was fickle, the upstairs bedroom set up didn’t make sense to us you had a table in between the beds but no access to plugs so the table was useless because the plugs were on one side of the room and then on the opposite wall of the second bed so your phones and computers were on the floor. The floors weren’t cleaned properly there was dirt and some dead bugs. The walls are paper thin!!! We had people show up on our second night and we were kept up by their baby crying and when anyone would walk around upstairs or going down the stairs you could also hear their entire conversation as if you were in the room with them so we whispered throughout our room to not wake the baby. The office closes at 4 which is highly inconvenient because you’re usually out and about and when you get back there’s no one to contact, our shower rod fell and was being held by sticky tack it seemed but because it happened after 4 we had to find away to fix it. The bathroom also doesn’t have a fan so when you do take a shower the whole place fills with humidity and you have to open the window to try and release it but when it’s humid outside good luck! The back door lets in all kinds of air. But… it’s convenient location between Austin and San Antonio is a huge plus, the pictures you can get here also are gorgeous the town is super cute

It was a spacious cabin style room with a rustic wooden deck out back overlooking the river below. The surrounding area was well lit with decorative soft lights that outlined the beautiful walkways leading down to the river landing. The river landing was landscaped perfectly to match the surrounding mountainous area. Even though I live in central CA, I am going to find a way to make it out to this place again just to experience it for more than the one day I was there! I had an amazing experience! This was not a modern chain style of hotel that I stay in very frequently, and I absolutely loved it! If you stay here, expect a nice quiet getaway for a few days at least. Well done!

I love that even the hotel style rooms are still more of a suite with a separate bedroom and living room. The only downside was that it would have been a bit more convenient to have some silverware/dishes in the kitchen area since there was a full fridge, sink, microwave and dining table but was more difficult to take advantage of those amenities without the little things that go with it.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Anniversary - The location was great! It is close to hiking areas like Canyon Lake Gorge Park. Also it is close to Natural Bridge Caverns and Gruene, TX. The river view is very pretty. We enjoyed having coffee and creamers provided. The coffee was good! We also appreciated the complementary wine to help us celebrate our anniversary! Our TV in the cabin kept turning on and off randomly. The maintenance person came but the issue wasn't resolved. Also, there was a big rain storm and water came into the cabin by the table next to the window. The text messages from the office really helped to keep me updated. We would definitely go back again.
