The room was clean and stocked with coffee, tea, and biscuits. Also close enough to a lot of attractions in County Meath we wanted to see.

Mould on tile in bath and a shower curtain instead of glass. Furniture was a bit tired and small tv. No Mini bar

• John (1/5): Communication!!! - It's location as it is near family and friends The food is always excellent That is all On arrival I was told my stay was two nights When in fact it was booked and confirmed with booking.com and hotel for three nights the booking was amended and I paid for the three nights Around midday I was rang up to tell my room was double booked and I have to leave they arranged for me stay at another hotel approximately seven miles away I thought the situation could have been dealt with a lot,lot better as it was deemed my fault I believe So a horrible stay for that reason

• E Henehan (8/5): Nice Hotel - When we were checking in, the receptionist Adel was so friendly and helpful. The bedroom had everything we needed. The location was lovely. The view out the window was a wall. Maybe if there was a bell rather than having to ring reception to get back into the hotel after hours.

• joanmar (4/5): Not good, left early. - I was a little concerned about the quality of this hotel and was hoping to be pleasantly surprised. But I wasn’t. From the first, the hotel has a musty smell. When I was taken to my room, there was black mold on the curtains, peeling paint, broken knobs, and industrial type soap dispensers. I know it’s a three star hotel, but I expect cleanliness and decent maintenance and this was neither. We left a day early. It gives me no pleasure to write this review, but I hope the owners tend to these issues.

• d_aj2020 (10/5): 90th Birthday - I have to share my compliments to the staff who looked after my Mam's 90th in the Taylor Suite. Every single member of staff we met from reception, bar, waitresses and duty manager were exceptional in the service they provided. From dealing with Jo to book the party to when we went to pay the bill ,the natural friendliness and professionalism of the staff was outstanding. Jo was available for my queries and so helpful in menu options. There was 40 of us including 8 children having a 3 course meal and the staff were so calm, friendly and approachable. Nothing was too much. Especially Tessa making sure the room was the right temperature, the music and the layout and the Duty Manager I didn't get her name but she helped me out with the cake, seating etc. It was lovely and really special to us as a family we rarely get together. The waitresses moved seamlessly and confidently through the room . Every single person remarked how fresh and tasty the food was. Compliments to the chef the food was delicious. The food was hot when it arrived! Ten out of Ten! I will definitely be back and would not hesitate to recommend The Ardboyne Hotel.

Located in quiet area with 20 minutes walk along main road into Navan centre. Wifi was very hit and miss. Connection kept dropping out. After about 2100 and well into the next morning, when I did get connected the signal strength was poor.
• Z3918YQjenniferd (10/5): Amazing Wedding Venue - We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our wedding in September 2025. From beginning to end, everything was absolutely amazing. One thing we especially loved was being able to pay it off bit by bit, which made the whole process so much more manageable and stress-free. I genuinely can’t fault the hotel at all — the team were completely on the ball and clearly know exactly how to run weddings to perfection. A huge shout-out to Jo, our events coordinator. No question was ever too small or too “silly” — she was always there to help and made everything feel so easy. Thank you for making our day so special! Jennifer & Niall

• Hugh (8/5): Hotel allowed us to attend a wedding nearby. - Location suited us. A few minor things. Breakfast no porridge or bananas. Room cleaning missed a couple of small things. We had a single & a double bed in the room for us (2). With 2 of us in the double we rolled into the middle, so my wife used the double & I used the single bed.

• angelacN3448ON (10/5): Home from home - This is a homely hotel where the staff could not be nicer. The bar food is excellent. Bedroom was very comfortable. Conference facilities were very good. It is an ideal location on the outskirts of Navan.
• L849EPpc (2/5): Wait to be seated - Entered bar with a sign "wait to be seated", so we did, only to be given menus and told to seat ourselves, no explanation as this is highly unusual as have been on numerous occasions and never greeted with an attitude like this and then accused by Bar Manager when paying for food of calling staff member "a snob"when conversation was taken out of context by someone at another table listening , we had been dicussing something else entirely. Highly unprofessional by manager to approach us at the bar in front of other members of the public, disgusting behaviour, they need to get a more mature staff working in general and know how to treat public.
• C3191DElisab (10/5): Fantastic stay and a very friendly hotel - I stayed at the Ardboyne Hotel for nearly two weeks during a very difficult time in my life while attending a court case. From the moment we arrived, the staff had been nothing short of amazing. Their kindness, compassion and genuine support have meant more than I can put into words. They have made both myself and my daughter feel safe, welcome and genuinely cared for. It truly feels like a family community here rather than just a hotel. A very special thank you to Teresa, who checked in with us at the end of each day — that meant more than she probably knows. To Kealy at reception for her constant kindness and reassurance. To Molly at the bar for her warmth and friendliness. To Shirley who sorted out our accommodation and to all of the wonderful staff who have shown such understanding and support throughout our stay. During a stressful and emotional period, having such thoughtful people around us has made all the difference. We are incredibly grateful — thank you all so much.

Choice of cereals limited and available in one serving boxes. No brown bread apart from sliced pan. No fruit salad choice but there was a fruit bowl of whole fruits.

Breakfast anything you want and extras if still hungry. Rooms are so comfortable relaxing 😌 this place is always my favorite ❤️
• Mckinneybelfast (6/5): Good Elegant Reception - Looks a 4star when inside very elegant reception area and around hotel. However bedrooms let this hotel down a lot they are not 4star standard. The colour scheme is not correct nothing matches The bathroom needs a lot updating Chipped woodwork Marks on Bath No toilet roll holder Towels were hard & like hand towels instead of bath towels No tissues holder empty The only positive was a magnifying mirror on wall & Shower was powerful. The bedroom closet door did not close as it had dropped The mirror on Wall was to high to sit on a seat to look through. The drawers were hard to open. In my opinion you need a interior designer to look at your bedrooms plus you need to maintenance them. The food for dinner was okay but the potato was dry and we couldn't eat it. Not a great menu either had a lot of spicy dishes but not ideal for anyone that cannot eat spicy food. The breakfast was good apart from the bacon which was to thick and hard to chew, but hard to get service staff to ask for anything. As this was for my hubby's birthday I wanted it to be perfect I did appreciate the balloons and chocolate 🍓 in our room. If we stay again I would want a better more upgraded room.

The bunk beds were also very creaky and the mattresses need updating (springs uncomfortable!). But nice for children to have their own beds. Nice view of the lovely garden from the room. Excellent dinner and breakfast (hot food made to order). Good free car parking. Staff very friendly. Good location for a stop off.

• ChloeODee (8/5): Nice hotel for a night - The reception area is warm and inviting and staff were all helpful and friendly. The bar is really cosy and inviting. The room was clean and comfortable but needed a few touch ups on the wall and in the bathroom. No toiletries available in the bathroom which would really elevate your stay. The pillows were really uncomfortable and flat and even 2 didn’t so the job. Breakfast was made to order and tasty with good service. There is no soundproofing and it is quite noisy so definitely bring earplugs. Overall a nice stay for a night if you are in the area.

Joanne and Robbie were absolutely amazing at guiding us throughout the process, they were so friendly, very informative, helpful and went above and beyond to keep our little one entertained throughout the afternoon. Couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming and special experience and we even booked our wedding date on the day! Took so much stress out of the planning process for us.

From start to finish, the experience was seamless, professional, and incredibly enjoyable. Why They Deserve Five Stars: • The Atmosphere & Room: The function room was set up perfectly for a club of our size. It felt spacious yet intimate, providing the ideal backdrop for celebrating our players' achievements. The layout allowed for a great flow between the awards presentation and the socialising that followed. • The Food: The meal was undoubtedly a highlight of the evening. Serving a large group can be a challenge, but the Ardboyne delivered top-quality food that was piping hot and delicious. Every guest I spoke to complimented the food—it really fueled the high spirits of the night! • The Staff: A huge shoutout to the team. From the initial planning stages to the late-night service, the staff were attentive, friendly, and couldn't do enough for us. They handled the crowd with total ease and professionalism.
