• Laura (8/5): Highly recommend - the location and area are magic! - From start to finish we had a very good experience at Locanda del re guerriero. We were welcomed very warmly and guided through the property and our room. Overall great location, great dinner recommendations and great staff. The only thing we found a bit off is the breakfast set up. No buffet or independency in picking and choosing, but we were continuously asked what our preferences were based on the offer (although no buffet, food, or even a breakfast menu was on sight). This was a bit stressful at times and we also felt like we lost a lot of time due to that.

• Natasha (10/5): Beautiful rooms in the gardens of a 15th century castle with cool modern artwork and very kind owners! Plus the best bre - We were so lucky to stay here!! The property is beautiful. The rooms are large and clean with lovely views over the grounds of the 15th century castle. The breakfast is the best we have ever had in our many travels through Italy! So delicious and copious. Perfectly cooked eggs and pancetta, fresh fruit perfectly ripe. Katia’s restaurant recommendation for an evening dinner was perfect. Most of all, Katia and Stefano were so kind to us and to our children and our dog. We had a problem with our car and they went out of their way to find and call a mechanic in the area, who managed to solve our problem. We want to come back and enjoy the region more and will definitely stay here again. Grazie mille!

• C. (10/5): - Alles was perfect Mooie locatie met aangrenzend kasteel en veel moderne kunst in zowel het park als het hotel. Uitstekende airco op de kamer (was 38gr buiten) en prima ontbijt. Personeel super vriendelijk, denkt met je mee aangaande restaurants en bezienswaardigheden. We hebben 2 fijne dagen gehad mede dankzij Katia en Alessandra!

Unser Hund hatte riesige Freude und fühlte sich sehr wohl. Die Zimmer sind schön und rustikal eingerichtet. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal - macht ein geniales Frühstück. Leider sind die Matratzen für uns zu hart. Aber das ist der einzige Minuspunkt.

• Graeme (8/5): Pleasant environment for a short stay in the area. - The staff were very friendly and helpful, very welcoming and helped us find local restaurants. The location is very rural, lots of wildlife and a neighbouring castle. Breakfast was mixed and plentiful and served very attentively. The building is by virtue of its construction not a quiet environment. There can be other guest noise if busy, but the nights were quiet and peaceful. Beds and pillows could maybe do with an upgrade soon.

Molto bello il Castello di San Pietro in Cerro che si trova nel parco e comprende la Locanda del Re Guerriero. La guida Martina molto preparata. Consigliatissimo. Torneremo presto!

• Mojca (10/5): If you’re looking for peace, friendly staff, art, and history, this is the hotel for you. - We only spent one night on our journey from Slovenia to Turin, and the hotel was excellent. The staff was very friendly—as if you were at someone's home. Every step you take is surrounded by art. Since we don’t speak Italian, they took us on a private tour of the castle and an art exhibition—I highly recommend it! Because the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, they recommended and booked dinner for us at a nearby restaurant, where the food was excellent. If you’re looking for peace, friendly staff, art, and history, this is the hotel for you.

• Hassel (9/5): - You arrive at the park like setting dotted with sculptures and enter the most beautifully restored villa. The rooms are generous, and the bathroom has a superb selection of toiletries. Katia made us feel so welcome throughout, including making our booking at an excellent local restaurant. The art theme is carried throughout the property. The added bonus was the adjacent castle on the property, which was fascinating. Breakfast was served in style by Stefan. It was the best value for money we have had in the last 2 weeks of our trip. If you are planning a wedding this would be ideal. Arriving up a tree lined avenue lit by oil lamps and entering the castle over the old drawbridge into the inner courtyard. Dramatic & memorable! If we were staying longer, we would have expected a pool.
• Sören (10/5): - Für die Kinder war der Park und die Burg ein tolles Erlebnis. Das Personal ist unglaublich kinderfreundlich und es ist angenehm als Familie willkommen zu sein. Leider war die Heizung noch nicht. Das System kam mit den stark schwankenden Temperaturen nicht zurecht. Aber es war kein wirkliches Problem.
• Giovanna (9/5): Una bella sorpresa in un posto magnifico. - La struttura è molto suggestiva e curata sia negli spazi comuni che nelle stanze (noi eravamo in una junior suite soppalcata). Si trova nel parco del castello che è visitabile. Nel parco si possono anche ammirare opere d’arte contemporanea. La colazione è ricchissima. Katia e Alessandra sono gentilissime e disponibilissime ad aiutare il cliente in ogni richiesta. Hanno accolto anche la nostra cagnolina, senza alcun sovrapprezzo. Purtroppo non ricordo il nome del signore che ha servito la colazione, è stato professionale e anche lui molto gentile. Un posto in cui ritornare senz’altro. Nulla.

• Iveta (10/5): Wonderful place for the stay in the ancient town - Everything was wonderful - place, nature, comfortable room (the host upgraded the room complimentary, it was very kind). The breakfast was tasty and individual, the parking was comfortable. The reception ladies Katia and Alessandra are very friendly, helpful and attentive. There is an old castle on the territory (or the hotel is on the territory of the castle), the excursion is proposed for the hotel guests. The hotel does not have a restaurant for the dinner, but ladies helped with a booking the wonderful restaurant in 10 min from the hotel by a car. Maybe it was not easy to find the hotel (perhaps it was a problem of Wise), but Katia was so kind to find us in the town and to help to reach the hotel. The AC is a bit noisy, but we turned this off at night
