- Meredith L (10/5): Historic and lovely - The location of this hotel couldn’t have been better. I would recommend Lier and this hotel to anyone traveling in Belgium. If you have mobility issues, be sure to ask for a downstairs room because the stairs are steep.

Only disadvantage is the lack of parking but there are plenty of car parks within walking distance, if you can find a space! Would definitely go back.

- Andreas (8/5): Gutes Hotel in guter Lage - Kleines Hotel in historischem Gebäude. Es sind immer zwei Zimmer übereinander angeordnet. Die unteren Zimmer sind grösser und komfortabler. Die oberen Zimmer sind nur durch ein eine schmale steile Treppe zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück ist sehr begrenzt und könnte besser sein. Ansonsten kann ich das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen.

In town , walking distance to shopping , restaurants, public transportation and historical buildings. It is a non touristy city you can really enjoy . The hotel is in a historical building and the accomodations feel as if you are in your own little home.

- Eric (10/5): Fantastic hotel in a fantastic location - The hotel is right in the center of this Medieval town that was founded in 600 AC. The staff is superb, the rooms also and the continental breakfast is out of this world. Highly recommended. Only one disadvantage; there is no hotel parking but this is also the case for most hotels in Lier. The city of Lier is conveniently located for short driving distances to other major cities in Belgium such as Antwerp, Brussels, Gent and even Bruges. The hotel can therefore be used as the starting point for all your excursions by train (Belgium has a very dense railway system) or self drive.
- Verified traveler (4/5): No good. - Detta är inget 4-stjärnigt hotell. Bokade detta hotell pga alla goda recensioner, men misstog mig gruvligt. Rummet, i ett annex utanför hotellet luktade mögel. Tillträde till rummet på 2:a våning genom en sjukt smal och brant trappa, omöjlig ihop med en resväska... Enkelt inrett rum, med endast målarfärg i badrum och på toalett. Iskallt på rummet från golv till tak. Jag frös in i märgen. Frukosten mycket spartansk. Nej hit kommer jag inte fler gånger. Max 3 stjärnor.

- Richard (10/5): Great hotel in central Lier - I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights in April 2017. The hotel is situated in the centre of Lier close to the Grote Markt where you can find all the main shops, banks, restaurants etc. Our hotel room was situated on the ground floor (room 004) and it was clean and spacious with all the usual amenities such as television, fridge, safe etc. This is the only hotel I use when staying in Lier due to the excellent facilities, access to town and friendly staff.

- Katrien (8/5): Leuk hotel in het centrum van Lier - leuk hotel, aanrader om in Lier te overnachten als je één van de leuke restaurantjes wil proberen. Comfortabele kamer en bed. Ontbijt in orde, zelfs al waren wij op zaterdag één van de laatste.
- Mats (6/5): Comfortable but not really 4-star level. - Nice hotel in central Lier, has the necessary comforts. No lockable safe box in the room and the breakfast buffe lacks variety and re-filling which you don't expect from a 4-star rated hotel.
- stephen (8/5): Attractive small hotel - This is a lovely hotel albeit it basic it is an attractive conversion of a traditional town building. The rooms upstairs are not suitable for infirm or really young children as steps are narrow and quite steep. I arrived late and they stayed open to book me in, desk closes at 11.00 pm, the room was very comfortable and stylish in natural design, breakfast was simple with hot and cold food. Service was very friendly.

Parkeren is iets lastiger maar dan zit je wel middenin het centrum van Lier. Receptie en ontbijt ziet er niet heel chique uit maar dat maken de kamers meer dan goed.
- Jun Bum (8/5): Nice lovely staying but regrettable for payment - I'm not sure there's a enough understanding of the collaboration between hotels.com and the hotel cause a staff of the hotel doesn't know either how to activate my staying and gather their money from the deal. She requested me to pay, but I have paid fully when I book the hotel. I have spent around 30 minutes to explain and connect a staff of hotels.com to verify my payment when I checked out.

- Kathryn (10/5): Great for Business Travelers - The Best Western Plus Zimmerhof is great for a few nights stay for business travel. The room was extremely spacious. The bed was comfortable and there is a great workspace/desk for hooking up your computer. The free wifi worked well. The breakfast was also perfect for a quick meal before heading out for the day. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
