claudia (1/5): Hotel no recomendable,puntuación cero,personal del hotel ineficiente - Cuando llegamos al hotel,tarde por demoras Enel vuelo de aerolíneas 1140,después de haber avisado al hotel sobre el inconveniente,a nuestra llegada,nadie estaba esperando,una persona abrió el hall y entramos,pero nadie respondió al timbre ni al celular cuál llamamos,conclusión a las 3 AM tuvimos que buscar otro hotel,el hotel DOMMINO no reconoce su falta e informa que no nos presentamos,en realidad ellos no estaban esperando,hay testigos! No puedo pagar un hotel en el cual no me pude hospedar,teniendo que pagar otro más los traslados y el difícil momento a esa hora,espero su respuesta No lo conocí,estaba cerrado y nadie nos atendió,recién un llamado a las 3 am cuando ya estaba en otro hotel. Tengo dudas de seguir reservando por booking

Mai-chi (6/5): I would not stay here again. - Location. Nice room. Poor reception. Never met the host. Communication was through WhatsApp. Wanted to pay the 6 euros/night in cash and needed change, but the host was not available. Had to just leave the cash without getting change back. Expected the host to be at the b&b at check-in, but the host insisted on me calling him/her to get instructions to get in. I didn’t have an international calling plan, so the host finally buzzed me in the main gate, told me through WhatsApp that my keys are in the mailbox. Host then made me wait for at least an hour for his/her sister to arrive to get my passport information. I kept telling the host through WhatsApp that I am running late, but the host insisted that I wait for his/her sister. Very annoying. I also noticed a webcam in the kitchen/dining room, which was a bit unnerving. Also, breakfast was just mediocre. Just packaged pastries, coffee/tea, and yogurt.
Tania (7/5): Good location, basic accommodation, friendly staff - The location is excellent, within walking distance of many places, good connections with public transportation. The B&B is clean, breakfast has coffee/tea and some sweet pastries (self-service). The B&B is small so not very crowded. The staff was very friendly. Our room had private bathroom but its not ensuite but in the corridor. This was slightly inconvinient so perhaps it should be mentioned in the booking. There was another room that had ensuite but our room didnt. The rooms are very basic (not very well equipped), but ok value for money as rooms were kept clean.

El apartamento es amplio, lo limpiaban diariamente y es bastante fresco, algo que se agradece, ya que nos hizo mucho calor. Tiene dos habitaciones, una con baño dentro y la otra, concretamente la nuestra, tenía el baño fuera. Compartimos el apartamento con otra persona. Alessio, el encargado, fue muy amable.

Maria (4/5): Disappointing - Cleaning ladies. They were quite helpful. There is poor reception service. They forgot to charge me for staying and reached me in whatsapp after around a week asking to make a bank transfer. I'm used to payments processed by Booking.com or on the hotel reception desk. Requests from whatsapp to transfer money is unacceptable for me. Actually there is no reception desk in the hostel. On the checkout time me and my neighbours were hanging around the hall trying to get how to pay city tax. We knew we have to pay the tax, but there was no one from the hotel stuff. Also, the hostel didn't send me any instructions on how to get inside and get the key. Key lockers are behind the gate to the yard. I had a morning flight and was very tired. I couldn't figure out how to get in the yard as the door ring didn't work for me. A postman let me and showed the hostel door. A cleaning lady let me inside the hostel. And then I was hanging on the phone with an administrator who wanted me to go back to the gate (at this point I had no idea about lockers with keys). I didn't want to return to the gate as I carried a heavy baggage and I couldn't understand why they can't provide me a key when I'm already inside the hostel. I didn't like the breakfast. There were some bakery, tea and coffee. Self service. If new breakfast is like this I would book another object. After I bought some food in a supermarket I learned that some yogurts in the fridge were prepared for me, but I already bought yogurts.
Maria (6/5): Good Location - Good location. Quiet, the windows of the room overlook the inner courtyard Strange smell, combination of incense and plumbing problems. Difficult formalities: The owner did not show up and wanted me to send photos of the documents via whatsapp.
Sally (10/5): Brilliant stay, close to everything, host very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely return. - The location was fantastic, right in the centre for everything. Very close to bars, restaurants, metro and buses. Breakfast was simple but did the job, a toaster would have been a nice addition. There's was plenty of croissants, pastries and spreads which were all stocked every morning. Everything about the stay was fantastic. I went with my 16yr old son and we had a brilliant time. If i had to pick anything that would have made it better, it would to have a couple (or at least one) English channel on the TV so after a long day walking, just to chill before the evening. The coffee machine in the kitchen area didn't work on the first morning but was replaced by the time we got back later in the day so wasn't really an issue.

Tim (8/5): Very good - Great location. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. When my flight got delayed, they helped to arrange my pick-up from the airport and a late check-in. On the day of departure, they allowed me to store my luggage at the accommodation for free. The accommodation is a little old and could use some fresh paint, etc. But overall it offers good value for money.
Michael (10/5): Tranquil, well situated, family owned - A lovely and quiet stay, offering a respite from the many lovely (and close) sites of Rome. This is a small family-run hotel, and we highly recommended it.

Athanasios (7/5): Great location, easy check in check out, nothing exceptional in terms of facilities. - Location is exceptional, very close to the city center and the busy roads, and just outside Villa Borghese. Also a variety of buses and trains make it easy to go around. Breakfast is nothing special, mostly pastries from supermarket and some bread, still worth it though. Huge plus, they let us store our luggage there after our check out until our flight. The room was comfortable but not very bright. Also, it is not sound proof so you get no sense of privacy when other people are also in their rooms. Basically it works like a room with private bathroom in a shared apartment.

Verified traveler (10/5): - This property was PERFECT. The co-owner/manager speaks excellent English and was a pleasure to deal with. We have a large family with children, and we felt immediately at home. The location is SUPREME. There are multiple places to get morning food and caffes, and a perfect high end mini-supermarket. It is located in municipality one, literally a five minute walk to the grand piazza populo. A normal healthy person will be in the heart of the classiest shopping area in Roma in under ten, casual paced minutes. We walked to Vatican City with all the kids. Very doable. Once here, you don't need a car. The 2 bedroom apartment we rented could easily house a family of 7 or 8. The apartment has cooking, and is outfitted with everything you would need to cook including a superior espresso machine. It is modestly furnished. The feeling you get is one of a simple home rather than fake luxury. Clean bathrooms. Clean sheets, and nice beds. Neighbors were almost non existent. This is not the place to rent for crazy parties. Actual professionals and owners live in the complex. If you act as though you live here, and are a respectful neighbor, you will be treated as such. It smelled and looked like my german grandfather's apartment in Berlin. Magical. I consider the owner a friend, now, and I pray his business expands. All bed and breakfasts should be this nice. He does not interfere, and once you are settled he leaves you alone. I am scared to write a good review because I want to come back!

Definitely would stay again. I loved the vintage vibes and the bathrooms were very clean. The only thing I’d suggest is new bed comforters and blankets because they were a little worn out. Other than that, great bed and breakfast.

He picked us up at the airport for less than taxi or Uber fare, and allowed us to have a late check-out to accommodate our schedule out of town. Gave great advice about sights and restaurants, and in fact his dinner recommendation was the best meal of our three week vacation. The apartments are perfectly situated for all of the best places to visit and eat in Rome. The apartments are very clean and comfortable, breakfast is good. We will certainly stay here again.

Daniele gave us tons of recommendations for Rome from what to see, where to eat, and all the insider info one could need. The B&B was in a convenient location. The Spanish steps were just a short walk away. The metro station was very close as well. The building was surprisingly quiet despite being so central to everything.
Zoe (10/5): Do yourself a favour and stay here a week!! - If you want to make the most of your trip to Rome then stay here! A short walk from the best sites and the host had incredible recommendations which he circled on the map- great for when you are out and about and want a bite to eat. This map sent us to the best tiramisu, the best gelato, the best pizza, and the best pasta! The room was gorgeous and felt befitting of rome’s colour scheme. Breakfast was insanely good, fresh pastries and delicious yogurts, as well as a range of juices. A good way to start the day on a high energy city break.

Kaylin (10/5): Domina Popolo B&B - Owner/Manager and staff of Domina Popolo B&B were nice, friendly and helpful. The room for 2 people was a decent size, it included a queen size bed, a desk and a chair. It was noisy between 9am and 5pm. We could hear construction noise outside and people from the floor above us walking or moving furniture. However, night time was quiet. Everyday breakfast included fresh croissant (chocolate or sugar glaze), orange juice and coffee. There's a refrigerator in the common area. there's no oven or microwave. Owner/Manager showed us how to get around Rome on the map and made good recommendations for restaurants/eateries in the neighborhood. We arrived in the morning and the owner/manager was nice enough to let us leave our luggage in the room.
Verified traveler (10/5): Amazing Trip - I went to Rome to visit my brother and see the city and Domina Popolo B&B was in the perfect location. The B&B is very close to the Piazza del Popolo making it easier to walk to all of the major locations in the city. And if you do not want to walk there is a subway stop about a block away. The staff at the hotel was welcoming and extremely helpful. At the beginning of our stay the staff gave us a map and recommendation/tips for different places to eat, where to get tickets for tours, and major sites to see. We were also able to arrange pick up and drop to the airport easily for a reasonable price.The B&B itself is charming, clean, and comfortable.

Spacious room and big king bed suitable for couple and small child. Excellent amenities, especially the wonderful coffee machine! I have already booked a return visit.
Alex (4/5): Comfortable, but noisy and needs hot water - Comfortable bed, but no hot water for shower on multiple occasions. Very noisy. From 3am-5am there was still a lot of noise echoing through the walls as if somebody was vacuuming or blow drying.

TRACILYN (8/5): Convenient and Clean - Alessio and Daniel were great hosts. They made sure we knew how to get to some of the sights and had recommendations for places to eat nearby. The light breakfast that is available in the morning was a great way to begin the day. The room was clean and comfortable. The B&B is near to a metro station so it was easy getting there. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe there at night. We had a problem with power one night (one of our devices flipped a fuse) Alessio was great even though it was near midnight when we had to call him. We would most definitely stay here again.
Andrew & Mary (8/5): Family City Break 29/8/16-3/9/16 - The accomodation is located a short walk away from the Metro station at Fluminio. The main feature of interest is Piazza del Popola. We enjoyed our stay. Rome can be expensive especially in terms of accomodation cost but we think that this accomodation is reasonably priced. Daniel was our host and he was helpful and friendly and informative. It soon felt as if we were at home. The 3 of us shared a room which had a double and a single extra bed. It was an adequate size in all. Everything worked. We could have opted for a slightly larger room but our room was fine. The location is handy for the Metro and that was our preferred means of getting about during the day. At night we walked to where we were heading to eat. We probably stayed at the end of the peak season in terms of cost. Eating out can be expensive (circa 100 euro for 3 main meals and 1/2 litre of house wine) but if we wanted to we could have eaten at a cheaper price (several places, including one that we visited, charged a very reasonable 10 E for a main meal and a drink per person). We enjoyed our trip for sure. Daniel is an excellent host and Arriane provided our transport to the airport at the end of the trip. Thank you both very much and we hope yo see you again soon.
Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent location and lovely cozy atmosphere - We were fortunate to have a "family" room to accommodate the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 children (14 & 11). There was a public kitchenette in which we could make tea/coffee and also wonderful pastries for our breakfast. The location of the hotel was fabulous close to landmarks (piazza Popolo, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, etc.) and public transportation. Alessio was very gracious and helpful in assisting with directions and places to eat. It felt like a "home away from home". The location of the hotel was quiet yet central to everything. We will definitely stay there again!
Tammy (10/5): Excellent location in Rome. - Clean, quiet,safe neighborhood, located close to the Metro and a 10 min walk away from the noise of historic center of Rome. Room was comfortable, very clean, with fantastic air conditioner which is most welcomed in the heat of summer. Daniel and Alessio are very welcoming hosts, and provided a lot of travel tips and recommendations on places to eat. The free breakfast of - Morning coffee, juice, yogurt and pastrys hit the spot! Recommend the option to have a pick up at the airport - saved a lot of time getting to the apartment. Highly recommend.
Gina (10/5): Excellent Stay!! - I had a wonderful Stay at this B&B in May/2016. Very clean inn with a very comfortable room. Alessio and Daniel were the perfect hosts who went above and beyond helping me get around the city. It's the perfect location where I was able to walk everywhere from Vatican City to the Colosseum. The train station is very close to get you to and from Rome Termini as well as to all of the sightseeing.
tracey (10/5): Close to all attractions - Arrived early owner very welcoming, dropped bags off. The owner gave us a map highlighting all the places to see and his card with address and phone number on. Beds were comfortable and rooms and ensuit were clean. Breakfast was continental and tea/coffee provided in kitchen/dining area self service. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you for making our stay in Rome a lovely experience
Sameh (8/5): Nice Stay - Very clean room, cozy bed, nice location near metro restaurants, cafes and shopping streets. Very clean toilet with bidet. Nice staff. The breakfast is basic.
Neil (10/5): Nice b&b only 20mins from all main attractions - Owner could not have done more to help , and gave us plenty of info on places to eat and not get ripped off. Also good places to visit.

Alexandra (8/5): Brilliant - Enjoyed a brilliant 3 night stay in Rome in August during extremely hot weather. The room was lovely and cool and quiet considering it is a stroll away from Piazza del Popolo. However, the best aspect of the stay was by far the lovely manager who was brilliant for tips on authentic restaurants and the places to see and places to avoid. If that wasn't enough he very kindly offered to take us to the airport at 5 Am so that we didn't have to worry about public transport or sorting out taxi's. All in all, we had a wonderful stay here that concluded our 3 week trip around Europe!
Liam (8/5): - The hotel is very strange, it's more of an apartment with guests having their own bedroom/bathroom, the host was friendly and helpful, we only saw him when we checked in. Pastries are delivered daily from a local bakery (very good!) and left in the communal area, 1 day there wasn't enough left for our group to eat, but we were eating out anyway so it was ok. Room was comfortable, we had 2 singles & 1 double and a good bathroom, although the shower is a little small and awkward with the shower head in the middle, not much room to manouevre. Overall, a handy hotel to be located in the nice Piazza Del Popolo area, if you aren't planning on spending much time in the hotel. Would stay again for a weekend trip to Rome.
Fee (10/5): Excellently situated near Piazza De Popolo - Well situated, clean comfy rooms. Alessio who runs the Domina was amazing, belpful, knowledgeable, gave great tips and recommendations. He was also amazing when I had an accident. He looked after me and took me to the hospital. He has even emailed me since my return to check on me! Fantastico customer service!!! I will be back
terrie (8/5): Helpful owner - The owner alessio was really helpful gave us great hints and tips of the area. Recommended great places for food. We walked everywhere we did not use public transport it was around a 20-30 minute walk down to the colusseum that was the furthest we went but was easy to get there. The breakfast was basic but plenty to start your day! The room was lovely and clean and better than we expected.

Room for two and bathroom were of ok size, had AC and shutters that opened, quiet neighborhood at night, proprietor, Alessio, was a personable, enthusiastic and knowledgable Roman who went out of his way to be helpful
Luana & Michael (8/5): Position - fantastic! - When in Rome-it's time to explore the historic sites of the eternal city. What better way to stay at Domina Popolo! This B&B had everything you need - it's close to all the major historic attractions, very clean and above all Danielle and Alessio are great hosts - very friendly and helpful.
Douglas (10/5): Great room, staff & location. Highly Recommended! - Very nice staff, clean, pleasant room and facilities. Very good location, pleasant neighborhood. Light breakfast. Excellent communications before and during our stay. I would definitely recommend this B&B!
Peter (10/5): Great stay. - We had a very enjoyable stay. Used as a base to visit all of the sights. Metro on doorstep so couldnt be easier to get around Rome.
