Les restaurants sont bons même si la décoration pourrait etre travaillée un peu avec modernité. Bonne conciergerie. Les plats sont de qualité, même au restaurant italien (sauf les desserts) avec des pizzas napolitaines. Le bémol c'est plein de details qui font que cet etablissement n'est pas ideal compte tenu des prix pratiqués (haute saison 800e la nuit) comme: un petit dejeuner avec les œufs et autres en supplément, 35e par nuit pour un enfant même lorsque la chambre est équipée de 4lits et peu importe l'âge, des serveurs inexpérimentés un peu partout, pas de reassort du minibar cafés et autres, pas de reassort de bouteilles d'eau, le service de chambre ne pense pas a vider poubelle ou bien changer serviettes ou remettre du papier, des noyaux de cerise dans un dessert ou encore des toilettes de piscines en préfabriqués plutot étonnants vu le luxe affiché.

- mai khoi (10/5): Perfect balance of luxury and ease - How do you do offer all the luxuries of a resort but balance it with authenticity and charm? Coquillade Provence figured it out. We were here for a two night stint on our way to AIX and we couldn't be more pleased and wanted to stay longer. The property is located 10-15 min away from a slew of small towns that are perfect for day-trips to discover the region. Back on property, the staff is always around to say hello or be of service, it really felt personable and high-touch. A magnificent spa, with unlimited access to sauna/steam. Two half-Olympic sized outdoor pools, plenty of walking trails and bike paths to see the extent of the grounds and vineyards. It felt like a small little village with hidden amenities all throughout. I loved the large collection of art/architecture library. This would be a perfect stay for a family with kids or without, plenty of activities to entertain everyone but doesn't loose its charm.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Stunning property but failed to meet expectations - Stunning property but the staff and customer service were seriously lacking for an establishment of this caliber. Perhaps it was due to the season just starting but the staff seamed unorganized and lacked the finesse and professionalism we expected. Additionally, the sole restaurant serving dinner was fully booked and we were told we could dine in the bar, which only serves unrefined snack food, which was not desirable nor acceptable.
- Kalagi (10/5): - Loved our stay in Coquillade in April 2025. It was one of the nicest resort we have been to. Everyone working at the resort is extremely lovely. We were interested in renting bike for our next day adventure and the hotel staff was so helpful. The bike shop guy whose rental place is just down the resort road was very helpful and very easy to work with. The resort has that unique luxury vibe and the breakfast is a wonderful spread. The food we ate at the resort restaurant is one of the nicest things we ate in Provence, France. Thank you Coquillade for giving us this wonderful experience.

Housekeeping passed 2x /day to make sure everything is perfect. Staff is superhelpful. Breakfast is fantastic. The pool is beautiful, but not as charming as the rest of the hotel. Restaurant Les Vignes is a bit pricy for the quality offered (there are better options in the area). Tip: put a few more car charging spots on your parking (the 3 charging stations were occupied all the time).

- Verified traveler (10/5): Very enjoyable stay. - Had a very enjoyable two night stay in a Deluxe Suite. Wished we had booked longer. The resort is beautiful and set in a stunning location. The room was spacious, and in particular the shower and toiletries were amazing. The suite had a small terrace with sun loungers but it’s not really somewhere you will spend too much time. The service was generally excellent, from check in to check out, but in particular service and food in the Avalon restaurant was fabulous. The only slight issue was we felt the bed was just too firm, but that will not stop us coming back.

Beautiful property with the most amazing landscaping in a calm and serene enviroment. We only stayed one night and did not get to enjoy all the property offers - so suggest to stay more than one night if considering booking. Bed was comfortable, bathtub had jets which was a nice touch, parking and food was very good. Room amenities were a very welcomed surprise and thoughtfully presented - thank you! Thank you also to the kind and sweet housekeeping ladies! Breakfast was ample and delicious and the dessert with lavender ice cream is one we will never forget! The only improvement areas I can highlight would be to add children's slippers for child guests, a nozzle on the hair dryer that doesn't fly off when in on position, fix the noise issue overnight in suite that made it sound like water rushing through the pipes until 4:30am, and when steak is ordered medium/med rare, would have appreciated it not to be sent out well done. Also, our suite did not look like the photos on Expedia, so just recommend updating them to manage guest expectations :) The staff really made it the most memorable stay for us and for that, our only regret is staying one night! Highly recommend!

- Sera (10/5): - It is a beautiful, very well kept resort. Definitely deserve being a Relais Chateau hotel. The cleanless, the facilities, spa, swimming pool area and the grounds are beautiful and very well kept. We tried the gastronomic restaurant and it was good. The other restaurants were also have very nice food and service. The only negative thing I can say is the music done by a DJ on Saturday night he didin’t care about the environment and the guests and doing a very irrelevant music. The other thing the bell boy had dropped my husband white pant and tore it some how. They were really sorry and try to provide it. But it is very difficult to find a proper size to my husband. That’s the only one we brought for our special occasion It was an unfortunate situation.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Magical resort hotel in the heart of Provence - Coquillade was simply magical! An entire village dating back to the 13th century converted to a wonderfully luxurious resort. Breath-taking scenery, with acres and acres of vineyards surrounding it that produce the resort's own wine collection (which is delicious by the way!). Our accommodation felt like it's own private villa in Provence paradise. Our friends wedding was here and could not have pictured a more stunning location

Several of us enjoyed exploring the local towns on the electric bikes available for rent at the hotel. The staff was very helpful. Overall, one of the loveliest places we have experienced.

The hotel itself is amazing, clean, quiet and very well preserved. The staff was so friendly and helpful in all times. The room was spacious, well designed and kept clean and maintained in all days. We had two dinners in the hotel's bistro (Les Vignes) and it was great! Welcoming staff, terrific food and affordable prices.

- Jen (10/5): - Where to begin? It is settled in vineyards and lavender fields. The rooms are quite spacious with modern amenities. The spa and pools are incredible. There are many restaurant choices. You can rent bikes to explore the local hill towns. We didn’t want to leave and will be back for sure.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Stunning setting within an agricultural landscape. Interestingly configured village-like property is full of hidden surprise views. The spa is fantastic and was my favorite part of the experience. Staff was always very pleasant. My one criticism is that the greeting card in the room addressed my partner and I as “Mr and Mrs” which was presumptuous, incorrect, and a bit off-putting. In 2018 this should really be changed.
- Maurice (10/5): outstanding resort - busy with families/kids - the resort is spectacular in every way and nestled in a very special part of France. Overall incredible experience and would return again. Our only comment is the resort's management of families with kids. We chose the resort for a chance to escape our busy lives/jobs in Canada and enjoy some R&R as a couple. We were not expecting so many families with young children at the resort (no problem with that in and of itself); however, we were expecting to be able to have relaxing areas without kids were we could enjoy quiet time. Specifically, the resort has two pool areas that are clearly outlined as "Family/Kids" and "Adult" pools areas; however, the staff absolutely did not ensure this was followed. Even after politely asking the staff at the pool area/restaurant/bar if it would be possible to have the "Adult" pool area rule reinforced with the families not respecting/adhering to the rule, we were told "sorry, there is nothing we can do." We have children of our own and definitely fond of children, just think La Coquillade can manage this piece of their experience a little better.

The major negative to this report is the service- it was terrible.Significant shortfall is the lack of service at the Bistro/ Jardin dans les Vignes for dinner. One should not have to wait half an hour to order wine or over an hour for the first course. Setting is very nice but service deplorable, especially for a Relais and Chateaux property. Would not visit again.

- Elena (10/5): Amazing hotel and location! - Truely everything at this hotel was exquisite. The hotel is gorgeous and the views were breathtaking. The staff was very helpful. We rented bikes from the hotel and were able to ride around the countryside for a full day. We made the mistake of not asking for a bike lock. Make sure you do that if you’re planning to stop in one of the towns for lunch. Highly recommend the walk through the hotel vineyards.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Wow - what a place! - Possibly one of the best resorts I stayed at - this place has fantastic grounds, beautifully located within 10-15 minute drives of beautiful villages of Luberon (Roussillion, Lacoste, Gordes) that are super fun to explore. Grounds have an amazing spa, beautiful vineyards, swimming pools and restaurants.
- Cyril (10/5): Exceptional resort experience - Wonderful place, fully renovated with state-of-the-art equipment throughout the hotel. Obviously the owner wanted to make it a unique experience and it's a success! The spa (with most areas mixed, i.e. enjoyable as a couple) was awarded best in Europe and it's well deserved. We dined at the bistro restaurant, which was great value for money. The resort is in the middle of the vineyards owned by the same owner (good wine too), which allows for a nice run/walk in nature in the morning. We'll be back!

- David (10/5): What a Place!!!!! - La Coquillade was just a dreamy place. The setting is absolutely gorgeous and the facilities are equally fantastic. Amazing pool area, fantastic dining settings, great gym, beautiful trails and close to other towns. We planned to do day trips durin our 3 night stay but ended up just going out for lunches as we never wanted to leave :) The breakfast is fantastic. Well worth the 25 euro per person. The dinner options are good, but not mind blowing meals in my opinion. That said, please please eat in the garden one night if you can. It is the most beautiful dining setting I have ever eaten in.

- sue (10/5): Paradise - The room was spacious with all the amenities of true luxury , turn down service came with a tiny box of fine chocolates, every little detail was thought of including uber luxe bath products ! Our room opened out into a a small terrace , lovely for a morning cup of coffee ! Sheets and towels were of the finest cotton and linen , with towels being changed twice a day .

- rebecca (10/5): Comfort in the country-side - Superb accommodations in Provence, convenient to Bonnieux, Gordes, Roussilion,... And summer sunshine. Comfortable pools, pool decks, beautiful country-side sunsets. Sam was a great help checking in and dealing with bags, car park.
- Mark (10/5): Stay in new section - Beautiful hotel and ground. This hotel had been recommended by the owner St. Georges Bastide Hotel. The room was spacious and the balcony overlooking the vineyards and valley was beautiful. First class services. Unfortunately, we did not feel that the food was of the same caliber as the accommodations. I would highly recommend the hotel but would not recommend the eating there. We actually wound up staying a second night rather than staying in Marsaille because the accommodation were so nice. Make sure you ask to stay in the newer section.
- Mark (10/5): There and Back Again. - This was our second night at La Coquillade. Even though we had checked out of the hotel that morning, they graciously invited us to continue to use their facilities and pools for the day. After a relaxing morning walking through their vineyards, napping by the pool and exploring the surrounding countryside, we decided that we would enjoy spending another night even though we had a 9am flight out of Marsaille the next morning. The room that they gave us for this night was a separate cottage, quite charming but not as private as the previous nights accommodations. We asked them to change us to a more private room and they were most obliging. Definitely will return to this hotel.

This is the third time we have stayed here in the last 12 months. Each time it is consistently exemplary in every way. The rooms, the service, the restaurants and food are all outstanding.
