Solsburyway (10/5): Great place to stay in Harrogate - Just returned from another great stay at the West Park. All the staff made us welcome and we had some excellent food and wine during our stay. The well presented room we had was clean and quiet and we enjoyed some peaceful nights. We look forward to returning again as there is so much to see in and around Harrogate and the Hotel is the perfect base. Thanks to everyone who made our stay enjoyable. We will be back.

The new menu is superb, something for everyone. Great value for money. I had the Lamb duo which was excellent. I was served by Becky, great customer service, friendly and polite. It is so lovely to come back to the West Park but always sad to leave. Well done team West Park.

Melissa (8/5): Excellent location. Stylish city hotel - would recommend - The hotel is really central and the reception staff very helpful. The room was not big, but was big enough and well equipped, and very stylish. Lovely fluffy white towels and nice furnishings. Bed linen spotlessly clean. 1. The bathroom door kept opening - forgot to mention this (we are on the 3rd floor).2. Had a view of the multi-storey car-park, so not attractive outlook at the back of the hotel. 3. There is no parking for the hotel (although there is a multi-storey carpark behind and an open air car park opposite that) - the lady on reception kindly explained where to find street parking. Despite these minor points I would recommend the hotel highly.

Not the greatest view out of our window but this made it no less enjoyable and as we didn't request a special room I wasn't expecting it to be anymore than inner view anyway, but everything else was perfect! This is our second stay here and what makes our visits extra special is Purvi on reception, she is excellent at making you feel like a very valued guest with her warm greeting when you arrive and her attentive professional nature, she is so welcoming and helpful! It's a lovely hotel spotlessly clean and all the team are lovely! We would definitely come back again when we next stay in Harrogate ! View from bedroom window

Fresh milk provided was a bonus! We booked breakfast. There was a choice of continental or individual hot dishes. We choose the continental - it was very disappointing for £15 each - a very limited choice and poor reflection of the cost.

When we couldn’t access Netflix we were given a firestick to use by a member of staff. Loved having a balcony but would have been nice if it had some greenery and fairy lights on there as compared to the standard of the room it seemed a little neglected.

The service from Chris was impeccable all our needs met,friendly efficient but at all times professional. The food was of a very high standard,the pudding the panna cotta the best I have ever had. Lorraine (8/5): Could have been better - Gorgeous first room 103 Unfortunately on close inspection the shower door would not close this should have been picked up prior to guest using the room moved to room 102 no where as nice quite scruffy and surprise the shower door over bath missing the seal
Joanne (7/5): Would most definitely stay again but probably would eat else where - Staff very attentive Very clean hotel The menu was not very versatile Breakfast for what you pay ! Little disappointing !

Brian (8/5): A really nice and relaxing experience. - We went to the Knitting and Stitch event in November. A little bit of a walk. Lovely park opposite the hotel. Great location. Lovely food. Staff were very helpful. Would come again. Also within walking distance from the train station.
101RobertV (10/5): An excellent lunch, faultless in fact. - An excellent lunch earlier today. Our first visit but definitely not the last. The manager, Chris, was superb, extremely helpful, knowledgeable and he must be a great asset to the business. The lighter Good Food menu was perfect for lunch, very good fish and chips, the pies were sublime. Many thanks for the great food, relaxed service and atmosphere.

Martin (8/5): Very nice hotel, but needs to improve on Wi-Fi coverage. - Nice room with comfy bed and well equipped bathroom. Wi-Fi needs to be improved on. Asked at Reception and was told it was good in our room, but it was mediocre at best.

V5799OAhelenc (10/5): Lovely midweek meal - Went for a midweek visit to spend our ‘Your Harrogate’ voucher. It was very quiet but Chris looked after us very well. The food was lovely, no complaints. Service wasn’t fast but that was fine as we weren’t in a rush. Overall had a lovely night and Chris was polite, helpful and chatty!
