• Inamarie (10/5): JW Marriot Southbeach is our go-to hotel in Singapore. - The hotel lobby smelled like a relaxing spa. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast buffet was great. The location was superb, just accross Suntec mall, walking distance to Merlion park, and just beside the Esplanade train station.

In the concierge lounge Phillis the bartender knows how to make the best drinks, with the greatest memory on what each guest loves to have. The freshly made pizzas are one of the best we ever had in Singapore. Chef Watson and Lu had top notch skills in sharing on how to make the perfect pizza in a special clay pizza oven. The service was excellent and kudos to Darren and his team for making the dinner so memorable and special for us. Darren had shared so much info about the hotel and selection of food. We love the chill vibes, decor, music, food and the best hospitality. We have found our new favourite buffet in Singapore and will definitely tell our friends about it! Thank you everyone, for making it a wonderful evening for us!

Marriott platinum got us immediate executive lounge and then it was off to the pools. 11th floor premier rooms main tower good view and immaculate, bellman delivered luggage and showed us how everything works. Executive lounge is large the food is fantastic plus no kids allowed during evening cocktail service. We enjoyed seafood buffet at Beach Road, also had nice late-night snack at Tonic, both places offered big discounts to Marriott guests. This hotel is extremely well run and entire staff is competent, paired with executive lounge you will have great stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property to anyone.

• ToddKtraveler (10/5): One of the best Marriott hotel experiences we have ever had - My wife and I spent 5 days in Singapore at the JW Marriott. From the moment we arrived to when we checked out, it was a 5 star experience. The hotel is centrally located and makes it so easy to walk, subway, Grab to virtually all areas of the downtown within minutes. The property is very well maintained with all the amenities you would expect. We thoroughly enjoyed our room on the 22nd floor (top of the hotel section of the building). The views towards the Marina were impressive. The 18th floor pool, relaxation area and gym are impressive. Great view, very nice workout equipment and plenty of exterior seating on all four sides. We did use Bonvoy points for our stay but the cash rates were fair for this location and what it has to offer. Lastly, I want to specifically call out the quality of the Executive Lounge. It is one of the largest I have ever visited and offers incredible options for food and drink. We found ourselves visiting for breakfast, touring around the city, coming back for afternoon tea, shopping in the late afternoon, coming back for drinks and a snack prior to heading out to explore for the evening. While the food and drinks were great, what made us want to come back was the high quality and high service staff. Every person was so friendly and welcoming. I want to specifically call out Phyllis, Javier and Fiona. They always greeted us with a smile and were so helpful to provide ideas on where to visit in the city - every idea was spot on. We very much appreciated spending time with them. We will be back!

Despite its central location, the hotel is wonderfully Awesome, offering a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of nearby attractions like Orchard Street and the Newton Hawker Centre. Although there is some small issue it was settle by Daniel One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional staff. From the welcoming bellmen to the reception team and the service staff, everyone went above and beyond to ensure I had a memorable experience. There were delicious snacks, as well as a selection of alcoholic drinks, and the lounge staff were friendly and skilled at making any cocktail you requested. I was able to serve myself, making the experience even more enjoyable. The dining room itself also had an incredible view, with waterfalls and a beautiful garden that made every meal feel special. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. It's a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and exceptional service. You won't go wrong choosing it for your stay in Singapore!

At the executive lounge they were having a special where they smoked an old fashioned on different types of wood. Patrick who was running the show was an expert and turned out some pretty good old fashioneds. He was also patient and explained things to some who didn’t know what an old fashioned was ( yes there were a few newbies ) Phyllis who was running the bar was also exceptional. I asked her to make me a Singapore Sling and to my amazement it was even better than the place across the street. Last should out to Joshua who was the host and patiently answered all my questions even though I got his name wrong a few times. Definitely visit this for a fantastic experience made by the staff who I interacted with.

It was one of the nicest lounges with very warm service from Javier during breakfast. I also went for the evening cocktails and was greeted by Fiona who was so friendly in sharing about the smoked Negroni. They smoked the wood right in front of me and I could even choose the type of wood. Overall a great experience and I hope there are more interactive experiences like this.

Hosted a company dinner at the restaurant and the experience was seamless with the help of the team (Teong Chuen, Darren, Elena, Sulzana, Flora) who had helped with the whole flow of event and ensuring that everyone was well settled in and satisfied with the food. Food quality is good and have a range of varieties. With the help and advice of the team, we also managed to book out a section for our company dinner which makes the whole experience much enjoyable as our team is able to mingle around within that section. The food selection, drinks selection, and staff make the lounge an absolute standout. I stayed 25 nights and visited the lounge every morning and evening. The staff knew me by name and greeted me with a smile without fail. Everyone was absolutely lovely, but Phyllis and Jolene require a special mention. Phyllis and Jolene made myself, my coworkers, and other guests feel as if we were at home. Every day at 5:30pm, I would arrive to my usual seat to find things already arranged for me. If my drink of choice wasn’t there, they had a water as a placeholder. As soon as I sat, Phyllis would pass a fresh gin and tonic to Jolene who would greet me with a smile. They went above and beyond every evening to ensure things were perfect, and that my glass was never empty. I’ve never been treated so well at any hotel lounge. They truly made a lasting impression that is unforgettable. Thank you ladies.

Warmly greeted by Fiona in the executive lounge who made a special effort to care for all our needs. The team work very well in the lounge with special thanks to Han and Emma who were very hardworking, professional and friendly. Great food and drinks in the evening and the best home made strawberry jam with cream and scones for afternoon tea!!! Luna from front office really helped in determining that the JW Marriott was definitely the best hotel for us. Many thanks for taking such personal care of us. The hotel is perfectly located close to the underground rail system, many shopping malls and close to the Marina Bay. We were able to walk to many destinations and the view from our suite looking over the Memorial gardens and the cricket club were amazing. Our suite was very spacious with large windows, comfortable sitting room, small kitchenette and walk in wardrobe. The bathroom was amazing with a huge bath tub by the window. One of the few places where I have used the bathtub. We had a wonderful time in Singapore and the JW Marriott and staff really helped make the trip very special.

• jrr421 (2/5): Stay anywhere else!! - I’ve stayed at Marriotts across the globe and I’ve never in my life Had such a bad experience at one. I was on a business trip and needed to change my departure due to a work emergency back home to 10 days instead of 14 days. They tried to charge me more money to leave earlier, claiming that it was a busy time and the hotel was giving me the 475$ price a night only because it was a long stay. Now Irrespective of me having status, and despite my colleague having the same exact price on a “non-long stay” reservation they were still unwilling to work with me. Which means they are claiming I am only getting the price because it’s a long day even though my colleague is staying for half the time and has the same price!! Never in my life have I had a hotel, tell me they want to charge me more money for staying at the hotel for a few days less over a long stay. Summary is they’re charging me for the full stay even though I had to leave four days earlier. This is an extra $1900$!!!! On top of all that , the food at the hotel is extraordinarily pricey and sub-par. A Caesar salad with chicken cost $36 sing and breakfast is $42sing for reference. Items in the Mini-bar cost around $12 for a bag of chips and $12 for a coconut water. As for the rooms... The Hallway carpets leading up to the room are filthy. The couch in the room is dated and beat up. The blinds that close off the bathroom windows are bent and broken. The lighting in the room is terrible and dim. And the toilet has a bidet on it which was completely messed up. It would randomly turn on and start spraying the moment you sat down. Additionally it would make noises all night long no matter what i did to the settings. I would not recommend staying here to anyone. And will never stay here again. I will also start switching my loyalty over to Hilton hotels. And will tell anyone I know who travels for work in my company or others to never stay here . Absolute horrible experience for a luxury hotel.

The facilities are stunning, and the Club Lounge is amazing for elite members. The infinite pool on the 18th floor has an incredible view of the city. The rooms are also great, and the location is perfect - walking distance to the Merlion and the metro. The breakfast is a great variety, and the staff is truly exceptional. They make you feel like the most important person in the world. I have to mention a few of them, even though I’m so grateful with everyone. Mr. Patrick (PM) is the Room Division Manager, and I want to thank you for going above and beyond with my request. Ms. Nancy Xu (Director of Housekeeping) and Ms. Lim Jun Loong (Front Office) are also amazing. Xavier Kook (Front Desk) and Mr. Joshua B (Assistant VIP Services) are great at the club lounge, just like Ms. Fiona Gan (VIP Services Manager). Mr. Phyllis Ong (VIP Executive) and Ms. Angel (Guest Relations) are also very helpful. Thank you for helping me with attractions and the best way to visit Singapore in a few days. Mr. Sara at the Concierge did an amazing job, and Ms. Shi Min (Front Desk) and Mr. Xavier (Front Desk) are always smiling and helpful. At the 18th floor, the people at the pool, bar, and always smiling and showing care. Ms. Rose is the Cutie Girl, always ready and willing to assist you. Sharwin, Tonic, and Maya are also great at the Gym Hafiz. Ms. Lucia always makes my bed, making me feel like a king. Overall, I’m so grateful to everyone at JW Marriott South Beach Singapore. The ballroom itself was absolutely stunning with such an iconic backdrop! It was so beautifully decorated on the actual day! What really made the experience exceptional was the professionalism of the banquet and events team! Would like to give comments to these people who made all this possible! My wife and I were so busy on that day but luckily we had the team to guide us to keep on schedule! They were also very accommodating to some last minute changes we had. • cantfindaname10 (10/5): NYE stay & firework - We stayed here for 3 nights over NYE and it was a great decision. We wanted to stay at Marina Bay Sands but they had a 5 night stay policy during the holidays, so we decided on the JW. It was so convenient, connected to 3 malls and MTR. We were also able to walk everywhere, if not a Grab was inexpensive to get to most places. I had platinum status and had access to the lounge, it was ok, better than most US lounges but I wouldn't have breakfast there. With status, you get two comp breakfasts at Beach Road. Go there instead of the lounge, the food is amazing, they offered every cuisine that you can think of, so much fruit, fresh juices, dim sums, and noodles. Also, don't go to the pool on the roof by the gym, it gets so busy with little kids, go to the pool by the spa, much quieter and nicer, with lots of lounges/chairs, etc. As for NYE fireworks, we walked 5-10mins to the bridge and had the most incredible view of the fireworks over Marina Bay Sands. Everything is orderly in SG and it wasn't crowded (compared to Chiangmai, Sydney or New York). We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would definitely be back.

• Curiosity53321372729 (10/5): A Truly Memorable Honeymoon Stay with Exceptional Hospitality - We stayed at JW Marriott Singapore South Beach for our honeymoon, and the experience was truly unforgettable. Although we only mentioned that it was our honeymoon on the day of arrival, the team went above and beyond to make us feel genuinely celebrated. We were kindly offered early check-in, which was greatly appreciated after our journey. What impressed us most was the thoughtful and personalized hospitality. We received a beautiful chocolate cake, fresh fruits, cookies, and drinks in our room. When we mentioned that we do not drink much alcohol, they kindly prepared cola instead, which perfectly reflected their attention to detail. In addition, we were deeply touched to receive warm handwritten messages and celebratory in-room dining meals not once, but twice during our stay. These gestures made our honeymoon feel truly special rather than routine. We would especially like to thank Ms. Fujimoto from Guest Relations, whose kindness and care clearly shaped this wonderful experience. Her warm welcome and thoughtful arrangements made a lasting impression on us. JW Marriott Singapore South Beach is not only a beautiful hotel, but also a place where genuine hospitality is felt. I booked the specialty rate but it seems like the hotel did not care the rate plan. Both aditional amenity and credit was not provided and took several texts to explain. The hotel provided other Ambassador benefits. Except for the suite, the room is too small, with big mirror doors and no space for luggages. Hotel has vibe of W than Jw. Sometimes it's better to avoid rebrand property cos It wasnt built for a JW before. Breakfast was cool but got screwed by the lady at the noodle station. Got the same experience last stay. Here attitude was terrible and for sure she is a casual labour, not full time associate. A friendly manager approached by 10.45am and asked if I need any other drink. I asked for an espresso and it never come.

The hotel pool was an incredible spot for me and my family to watch the fireworks from. We had a spectacular view, with the added bonus of being able to be in bed 5 Minutes after they finished. In addition all the staff were kind, welcoming and incredibly helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Particular helpful things were letting us access one of the rooms immediately on arrival, and allowing a 4pm check out of one of the rooms on the last day too due to our late flight. Housekeeping were quick and porters very efficient. We only had breakfast once and enjoyed. Vast choice albeit perhaps a little too big and spread out as it was tricky to remember where things were! Perhaps my age. Beds were comfy. So were the pillows. Location was perfect and we walked to lots of the main attractions including the marina. When we didn’t want to we had easy access to the MRT. All in all I’d highly recommend this hotel particularly if you’re looking for a spot to watch the fireworks on NyR.

Our room was not ready when we arrived but being Platinum Marriott Bonvoy Members, we were directed to the Concierge Lounge. It was there they we met Fiona, who was the Manager of said Lounge. What a delightful personality was she! She gave us all sorts of tips to enrich our Time in Singapore! I found the Staff in the Concierge Lounge to be EXEMPLARY under the auspices of Fiona! My Husband & I were spoiled rotten by the service & attentiveness of the Staff! The menu & drink choices were extraordinary! It was so wonderful to be celebrated on my Birthday by the Staff. Our experience at this Hotel set the bar very high for us & we would love to return in the near Future!
• Go43280395395 (10/5): Top Notch Service - My stay at the JW Marriott Singapore was truly exceptional and easily one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. The service went far beyond expectations and made my trip unforgettable. I had really wanted to visit Marina Bay Sands, but it was a last-minute idea and quite late in the evening. While chatting with YS in the executive lounge, I mentioned this casually. Not only did he tell me about CÉ LA VI, but he went above and beyond by calling a friend and securing a dinner reservation for me that very same evening. Thanks to him, I was able to enjoy the incredible scenery and finally check Marina Bay Sands off my list — something I genuinely didn’t think would be possible. On another occasion, while dining in the executive lounge, I unfortunately tipped my chair while trying to sit down and fell hard on the floor. The manager, Irfan Samad, immediately came to my rescue. He was incredibly attentive, caring, and professional, making sure I was truly okay and well looked after. Even before this incident, Irfan consistently made me feel like a VIP every time I entered the lounge. He always took the time to explain the menu, offer thoughtful recommendations, and ensure I felt welcome and valued. Because of experiences like these, the JW Marriott Singapore is now at the very top of my list. From the time I was checked in at the front-desk, to housekeeping, the bell and room service everyone treated us well. The level of service, genuine care, and attention to detail were outstanding. This is hospitality done right — excellent service that truly went above and beyond.

From the moment we checked in, Ryan at the front desk was excellent. He made us feel so welcome and really took his time explaining the facilities at the hotel. It's clear he's a true ambassador for the brand! He also went above and beyond for us since we were celebrating something special-he made some thoughtful arrangements that really added to the experience. The kids absolutely loved the amenities provided for them. They were thrilled with the little surprises in the room, and it really made a difference in making the stay even more memorable for them. Our room was stylish and well-appointed-just the right mix of comfort and modern design. It felt like a luxurious retreat with everything we needed for a relaxing time. We really appreciated the attention to detail in the room's setup and how spacious everything felt. All in all, this staycation was just perfect.

The Restaurant Manager knew us by name after the first day. The Restaurant Team was Super attentive. The Facilities were immaculate. The 18th floor pool and views were breathtaking. Finally the Young Man that serviced my room everyday had the MOST KIND Spirit! Benson is his name and we'll never forget him! Whatever I needed he was quick to supply. He even wrote a hand written note say goodbye and he hoped to see us return. SO SWEET! Benson is tge perfect representation of JW Marriott Quality of Staff. Until next time.

I do think the one in the main building should be covered as it is freezing cold. The reception area is nice with some cool art work and the staff are good. Location is great too. Highly recommend.
• katie23Wakefield (6/5): Style over substance - Overall Hotel is in a great location in central Singapore. Next to Raffles and surrounded by bars and restaurants and a c10 min slow walk to Boat Quay. The decor is modern but sometimes the style is over the substance. I stay over 100 nights a year in differing hotels and so my review is against this backdrop. I do perceive d there are better options in Singapore from prior stays. Rooms Very clean and a very comfortable bed. However standard rooms are small with little room for luggage if there is more than one case. This however could be addressed by (1) not having as much furniture in the room and a smaller desk. There are 2 office chairs and a suitcase stand (2) either have sliding or no doors on the wardrobe and reduce the drawer space. The wardrobe doors open into the room taking significant space and one wardrobe has half drawers which again means you take room space out to open. (3) the design is also poor as the bathroom is nearly the same size as the bedroom. The bathroom doesn’t need a bath for this size room and with reconfiguration you could have a bathroom half the size and nearly double the size of the bedroom. As a result there is no comfortable seating area in the bedroom which wouldn’t be an issue if there was comfortable seating hotel elsewhere in the hotel but there isn’t. Executive lounge Good selection of food in the evening and breakfast. Excellent quality and good service. The one let down of the lounge is the lack of comfortable seating. Also the tables and chairs they do have often aren’t stable. Gym Decent size gym with lots of equipment. One downside is not much floor space unless you use the walkways. Pool Not informed there were two pools. Everything sign posts you to L18 but discovered on our last day that if you go to L2 and walk to the spa area and take the lift to L6 there is another pool. It also isn’t signposted. Not great. L18 is a covered pool and L6 is not covered. In both there are no sunbeds/loungers around and it’s freezing meaning not a pleasurable experience to use if you want a relax. Level 18 Away from the pool there are more seating areas with some sofas. If you manage to obtain one it makes relaxing in this hotel a little better but they aren’t the most comfortable sofas. Spa Nice experience. I asked for a firm massage and it was medium to firm. That said quite good.

• tamarag241 (10/5): Overall, a very luxurious and relaxing stay, we’ll be back again. - We feel well looked after here. We’ve stayed a few times now and can’t fault it. The rooms are very comfortable, the suite in particular has plenty of space with a beautiful bathroom & a second separate toilet and also a separate coffee/minibar. The rooms are covered in mirrors and can feel like a bit of a maze when you’re first settling in but it carries light well throughout the space. Views from the 20th floor on the south/east side are breathtaking, you can take in the whole harbor and Marina Bay Sands, iconic Singapore. The executive lounge is well worth visiting. It offers breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner plus bar in the evening and all of it is beautifully done. My husband loves the laksa’s while I go for the bibmbab, the offerings change daily but after a few days you’ll see your favorites reappear. We tried a few cocktails but mostly stuck to wine and beer which included a very nice local Singapore beer. The pool on 18th floor is jaw dropping with a view of the city. I can’t express how magical it is to sit by the pool (completely under cover) in that tropical humidity during a thunderstorm with a glass of champagne & feet in the water. Theres another pool that is more open to the elements on the 6th floor(you need to cross the bridge on the 2nd floor and take the elevator) which also has a lovely feel, but no bar service and in fact no food or beverage allowed at all. Both pool floors have lots of lounge chairs and sofas nestled in amongst landscaping where you can hideaway and enjoy a quiet moment to yourselves. Overall, a very luxurious and relaxing stay, we’ll be back again.

Great Service! - Dear General Manager (Mr Hudson), Thank you for a wonderful experience in your hotel. The management and staff are fantastic! From the moment I stepped foot in your establishment I was warmly treated and felt at home. Ms Fiona runs a wonderful staff at the executive lounge. Patrick, Phylis, Joleen, Angelica, Kailey, Jane, and all the staff made my routine in the morning and evening memorable. The attentive and friendly faces made it a pleasure to dine and work in the lounge. Sir, the staff in your gym and fitness facility-Andrew, Kevin, Farid, Rose, and all the rest always greeted me warmly and offered assistance and encouragement appropriately during my workout. Future customers, there are two pools both have nice views. The 18th floor pool is colder, but offers panoramic views of Marina Bay. The 6th floor pool is great for laps, and is a bit warmer. Both will offer a great view for the variety of festivals and activities that occur in Singapore. If you are here for the F1, you cannot beat the view. Fireworks for National Day are breathtaking (watch the parade from either pool). From the exit, you can chart a 5k run that will take you past the Merlion, around Marina Bay, over the Helix Bridge and back. Or Take a 10k lap past the National Stadium, through East Bay Garden, over the Marina Barrage Dam, skirting the Gardens by the Bay, and again around the Marina Bay harbor. Vary your time and enjoy the evening lights or mid-day heat. The JW convenient access to the MRT with Esplanade Station a two minute walk away, or enjoy an 5 minute overland walk to City Hall Station (15 minutes through the underground City Link) to access two other lines. The central location offers access to the whole of Singapore. If you are adventurous, rent a bike and explore the Island. There are two options for bike share, and multiple vendors that will rent a bike for a more personalized experience. The JW is the perfect point of departure for your Singapore adventure. Whether in the boardroom or on a bicycle, the JW is a wonderful place to start and end your day. My rooms at the JW, while not the largest, are well appointed, clean, quiet, and comfortable.

I am allergic to any finned fish and must stay away from any shellfish due to possible cross contamination. The first night I met Chef Vee and I did explain my concerns since fish shellfish and many fish condiments are used in Singaporian cooking. He was very kind and very knowledgeable and very patient when he consulted me on what and how was the food prepared. He was responsible for the delicious soups he was serving. I felt very comfortable eating the vegetable soups he made for me every night and added the non fish broth. Also, he advised me on the vegan dishes that were served on of the nights. Thank you Chef Vee and other Kitchen and serving staff that you made my stay at your hotel very comfortable!

I thought 6th would be ok for a Singapore view if not I would have put a reclamation on arrival. It wasn‘t! That they shouldn‘t do with a 30 years long Gold Member. In SFO, last January, they have me 30th floor without asking for it. For me, they did wrong here.

I had a very smooth checkin-in experience and was provided with all the perks of being a Bonvoy member. My room was very well appointed and had a wonderful view of the city's skyline. Food during my short stay was also great. The IRD menu was comprehensive and had ample options to choose from. The service I experienced during the stay was also exceptional. The only aspect with scope of improvement would be the breakfast at the Beach Road Kitchen. The service and attention to guest needs could be improved, particularly during slightly busy hours at the restaurant. I also visited their spa and wellness facilities. The spa was very tastefully designed and I enjoyed a wonderful and rejuvanating therapy there. The hotel gymnasium was also well maintained. The property has two infinity pools. One is closer to the spa, and the other is on a higher floor boasting a wonderful view of the bay. Overall, I left satisfied from this property. I believe this is a wonderful business hotel located in the city centre and it should a good option to consider, particularly due to the warm service and overall elevated experience.

I said “no, she emailed and offered to meet me welcoming me personally, and I’m just agreeing." He said "she’s not available but I'm manager on duty." Weird. When I asked about having a quiet room, he said he upgraded me to a corner room and then said “I misspoke”: it’s not a corner room. Above all, when you tell a guest about an offer, you NEVER take it back, or you make it right. * I also informed him that after these 2 night I’m Platinum Marriott but he didn’t care at all. I’ve spent over 2 months living in Marriotts this year and I was quite excited to say so, even if he wasn’t going to offer me breakfast or the lounge. When I inquired what’s included in the lounge at this property, he invited me to walk “over a bridge” and check it out and ask them what they charge.” Not helpful. I certainly would have sent even a piece of bread amenity note to the room saying "almost there!" Concierge: I asked “where is there a walk-in Singapore Airlines office in town” and the tall Indian gentleman looked dumbfounded. He said he’d investigate and tell me. Two hours later, I told him I already solved it with your excellent Operator staff who put me through to SQ after dialing twice from my room already failed halfway through the calls— even though you billed me. Resto: Walking into the breakfast area, the 2 girls working diligently on their laptops greeted my “good morning” with “Room number?” How rude. And I gave my room number and they said immediately “sir, your breakfast isn’t included.” I said “first of all, I just came in to say 'good morning' and first ask if I can SEE the buffet to get an idea for tomorrow because I’m vegetarian and sometimes there aren’t enough items I can eat.” They hadn't even given me the chance to speak about ANYTHING before telling me my breakfast wasn't included and assuming I WANTED to be there. They didn’t understand and I just returned 2 hours later, unfortunately to find the same 2 girls. I did end up staying for the buffet after walking around to see enough items for me. This was the WORST first point of contact for me this year. * Buffet Area: Coffee: as an Italian 100% I can speak with authority that the cappuccino was made with burned coffee. Tea: I changed the same for a black tea with milk which came already brewed, lukewarm, and in a small cup: no teapot, no loose or bagged tea, or any identification of the source. This is English Breakfast Tea at the JW Singapore, my first point of contact with the F&B of this property? Normally at buffet, standards are to clear the empty plates as a guest finishes, not let them build up or accumulate. I found the lack of attention by anyone just very lacking (attached). Lobby Bar: When I went to the bar to get a glass of wine to bring to my room back from the Marina, the server said the standard is to give take-aways to guests in plastic cups. Not only is that wrong on so many levels, but the pour was minimal. Is this correct (attached)? CheckOut: the girl who checked me out and processed my bill couldn't have been more cold and ready to see me go; she took so long processing a checkout that she was still pecking at her keyboard minutes after I had signed my name on the iPad and verified charges and got back my Amex. Unique Points: viewing Raffles front entrance right across from my "corner" room, making me wish I were able to stay there as a Marriott property; the crazy sounds the elevator buttons make; the way the elevators play with your eyes with light and darkness once doors close and you're inside; the way the hotel is so randomly split with lounges and restaurants and checkin and front lobby entrance and hotel lifts all in different building areas and spread out; no ATM inside the hotel makes for tipping impossible ("sir, you must walk to the train station for the closest ATMs") Bath: the tub area has NO amenities so be sure to realize you'll need all the products from the SHOWER area before you get into your filled tub Curtains: love the button controlled curtains but they're so far away from the bed that you have to get up and move around to reach them, right next to the curtains themselves, rendering the entire idea of a push-button curtain experience IMPOSSIBLE. High Points: I’m sorry that my eyesight is also poorly and the nametags here are TINY names: but PLEASE shout out to the boy who just did my turndown service who was just the kindest face I've seen at this property since I arrived, and in the business of hospitality, that’s all it takes. Also, the Filipino who brought my private dining tray from whose name begins with E deserves a special shout out. Although I asked for cheese with the pasta dish (see attached) the fact that it did not come was not his fault; again he was just kind, and these days we just give shout outs to the people who are KIND in the service industry, over and above those just following rules (like pouring a few drops of wine in a plastic picnic glass); great bathtub that has a creative spigot, though takes the tub forever to fill.

Since the very beginning when we came for the ballroom viewing in March 2024, our Event Director, Chanel, has been responsive and helpful in our queries. Special thanks to her for accomodating to our payment arrangements, guest dietary preferences and actual day final guest numbers. Chanel and her team, Rahmat and Maran made the actual day a breeze and really helped to make sure the programme flow went well. Instructions were very clear and we were able to enjoy the day knowing they were overseeing the flow. Eugene (AV) was great and everything went smoothly with the media. Most of our guests also mentioned that the food was awesome, one of the best they have eaten. Compliments to chef Raymond for the unforgettable dinner! Overall, JW Marriott was very professional and we have no regrets having our wedding there. They even assigned someone to follow the bride to help with the dress and provide water when needed. Their service was impeccable and they made the wedding a success.

Executive Lounge Food Variety * The current lounge food variety can be improved by having more options and greater variation from day to day. * Protein Options: Specifically, the variety of protein during breakfast and hors d'oeuvres should be increased, with options such as beef, chicken, pork, and seafood. * Note: The Korean beef served was very delicious and is a great example of the quality I hope to see more of. 3. Gym Equipment Upgrade * The treadmills in the gym are very old and badly maintained. * They are not connected to YouTube or TV, and the touchscreens are not working well, hindering the guest's workout experience. Toilet Cleanliness and Ventilation * Public Area Toilets: The cleanliness of the toilets at the lobby and Beach Road Kitchen is very dirty and requires immediate and consistent attention from the housekeeping team. * Gym Toilet: The ventilation in the gym toilet is inadequate and needs improvement.
