The smoothies were great. The reception common area was nice as we entertained guests in the common area while they visited. We enjoyed the corner room. The breakfast choices could have been better. The hours for breakfast should be extended for those who are vacationing and do not want to wake up early.

We stayed in the room with two queen size beds which had a nice kitchen and a big sized fridge. The Hotel is dog friendly (without the additional cost) so that was a big bonus for us with our furry baby.

• WilsonLin (10/5): Great stay - We had a very pleasant stay here at the Element Vancouver Metrotown. The staff were all super nice and the rooms were very comfortable. I definitely would recommend checking this place out when staying in the area. This was an awesome spot since it was so close to Metrotown and the highway. Definitely would come stay here again.

Also some supermarkets and restaurants nearby so I don't have to worry about where to bring my family. Would definitely come back again for this convenient spot. Room facilities are new and clean, equipments are well-maintained and the beds are comfy. Staffs were all very friendly, they helped us stored our luggages for a few days when we were away to other cities. Small vending area at the lobby can save your night when you're hungry but don't want to go out.

• Janet (9/5): Wonderful hotel in a great location - The facilities were spotlessly clean. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable with large soft pillows. All the staff were friendly, cheerful and helpful. It was the perfect location for us to attend our grandson’s soccer games and have Thanksgiving dinner with family in Vancouver. We appreciated the delicious breakfast being included in the price. Overall, a wonderful experience. We would definitely stay here again.

• mercibonbon (6/5): From ‘good’ to ‘barely ok’ - I stayed at Element for one week and this was my 6th stay. My experience has gone from good (back in 2018) to average to barely ok this time. I have stayed in all room types in the past visits, from suites to double queen beds to one king bed. This time I stayed in the studio king (Room XX12) which is the type I used to book when I’m travelling alone. I requested high floor because the hotel is facing Kingsway where, from time to time, police cars and fire engines will pass through in the middle of the night. Wear earplugs if you do not want to be awakened by the sirens at night (it happened every night during my stay, what went wrong in Vancouver?! I felt sorry for the residents living along Kingsway!) Or choose those rooms where they are not facing the main road. ( I think the double room and one of the suites are quieter) I know this kind of outside noise cannot be controlled and it is not fair to complain the hotel, but for travellers like me who flew in long-haul would definitely want a good rest and this is just annoying. Apart from the outside noise, I found that the early morning noise from the corridor also very disturbing. Starting from around 5:30am everyday, I could hear the nearby doors opened and closed very loudly several times. I wondered if it is the hotel staff routine schedule in the linen room or some weird guests. I had encountered similar experience when I stayed here one year ago, but this time is even worse. I noticed the hotel has partially renovated the common area after my last visit, why didn’t they improve the sound proof and change the door locks, especially the ones the staff would use frequently? Another issue is the overall cleanliness of the room. I found stain on the bathroom walls, smell from the toilet, and dust on the bedside tables. Also, the housekeeping knocked on my door at 9:45am to do housekeeping?! Ok I forgot to put up the ‘do not disturb’ magnet on the door….. all the disruptions from midnight to early morning hardly provided me with a comfortable environment to rest.

Friendly staff, clean accommodations, room was a studio so a lot of stuff in a small space but it was fine only a couple of nights. Breakfast provided was good too! Located in Metrotown across from a mall and grocery store. A couple of blocks to transit station. Connected to hotel was the restaurant Trattoria! Went there for lunch, dinner and late night snack during our stay. Food was delicious, service impeccable and reasonably priced. Too bad hotel doesn’t work out arrangement with restaurant for staying guests to get a discount. Win win for both!

• Maria (10/5): - I love the location! Element Hotel is a walking distance to the Metropolis mall, grocery store right across the street. It is safe to walk around. There are many restaurants to pick from and the place is clean. The staff are very nice and friendly. We will be back again!

• Hyunhee (6/5): - While we appreciated the complimentary EV charging, the experience was far from ideal. There was only one 30A charger, first come, first served — and one car was parked there for 9 hours. We barely got a charge in. For a hotel catering to modern travelers, this setup isn’t sufficient. Management really needs to invest in more (and faster) chargers.

• Tourist790863 (2/5): Total lack of consideration for the customer - I had a paid reservation for September 2025, but due to an unexpected illness in my family, I had to cancel my trip. I contacted the hotel requesting cancellation and a refund. However, the hotel refused to cancel my reservation or refund my money because it was the same way I purchased the accommodation (without free cancellation). However, I believe that due to the problem that occurred and the fact that my stay was still more than 45 days away, the hotel should have acted differently, canceling my reservation or at least allowing me to change the dates to a new stay in 2026 (when I believe the health issue will be resolved and I will be able to rebook my trip). In other words, I believe the hotel completely disregarded the customer's situ
• Dorielle (10/5): - I had a lovely time, it was my first trip solo and the staff was warm and super helpful when I asked for directions and even had a bag emergency(my luggage zipper completely broke). Also loved my king bed in my suite! Recommending to everyone I know when they visit Vancouver.

• Vivian (10/5): - Modern, quiet and spacious rooms, walking distance to metro station, many restaurants close by. Friendly staff.
• Yen-Shi (10/5): - Great service, everyone was friendly. The free breakfast buffet was a nice option and the pool area was clean.
• Danny (5/5): Passable - Location is good but the amenities are not enough for big crowds as there's only 1 spa and a pool.
• Dallin (8/5): Great but not amazing - Overall really great Weight room sucks, so much cardio that there is no space to actually lift. That said, if I wanted a good gym GoodLife was downstairs. Don’t like that parking isn’t included.
