Guest Reviews
- Clawson (10/5): - beds were so comfortable and location was perfect and was so quiet.
- Lacy (5/5): Hhhhhhhh - The first thing you need is to get a good grip on what you’re doing The only way I could do that was if you had to do a lot more work and then you would be in a position where I would have a job and then you wouldn’t be in the position that you were at and I could just go back and work for a week and I could work on my way home from school or whatever I would have a little more money and I would have a good job but you would be more comfortable working there if I was working with somebody and you were in a place where you were comfortable with that I could do it for a little more but you know I could just do whatever I would be a bit of work for a while but you could just be there for you to be
- Charles (4/5): - Location was convenient Breakfast was poor, bare bones. Faucet was difficult to turn off. Room seriously needs upgrading.
- Joyce (9/5): It was amazing - Yummy Everything was super
- Helga (6/5): -
- Vicki (10/5): -
- Victoria (3/5): Will not stay again - My room was located on the first floor, because there is no elevator. I am disabled and was not provided with an ADA room as requested.
- Rodger (8/5): -
- Catie (1/5): -
- Connie (10/5): - The room was just like the picture on the internet. The staff were friendly. When we left for the day and returned from our outing; they had returned down the a/c to accommodate the heat. I will be staying here again in the near future.
- courtney (10/5): - Great place also clean bathroom and great customer service
- Sean (10/5): - Wonderful experience!!! Perfect
- Tammy (2/5): It will do - The room was clean but very outdated and in need of furnishings replaced. The breakfast was very disappointing.
- Voyager270639 (8/5): Good breakfast - Good breakfast! The room was very hot when we came in, would have been nice to have the air already on. But we had a comfortable stay and would stay again.
- Bilal (8/5): Very good -
- Kelly (8/5): It was short but good 😊 - Staff was friendly which is not always the case at some places. The beds were comfortable and location was perfect. Same as above question.
- David (1/5): I feel like I need a full refund! Worst stay ever!!! - Other than the ease of access off the interstate to the hotel parking lot, I don’t have anything positive to say about the hotel. The A/C was not left on inside the room and as we opened the door, the heat and musty smell hit us in the face! It was 88 degrees inside the room and it took an hour for the room to cool down to bearable temperature. There was trash behind the bathroom door, 1 roll of toilet tissue, and 1 square of facial tissue. There were flies all inside the room.
- Anthony (7/5): Good - Needs to be updated
- Badarrius (10/5): - Memorable.
- Joyce (10/5): Very enjoyable -
- Joshua (10/5): Exceptional -
- Renaldas (8/5): Very good -
- Monica (5/5): Decent for the money, but wouldn’t stay here again. - The location was perfect. The coffee was pretty rough and the breakfast food was lacking in options.
- Harriet (8/5): Convenient and clean - We were happy with the overnight stay here. A little older hotel but the room was clean and it had comfortable beds. Good customer service. Convenient location off I20 with dining close by. Good breakfast. We would stay again definitely.
- Julie (8/5): - Breakfast was definitely overrated! Carpet in room was old and dirty.
- H927IXpatriciac (10/5): Awesome , quite convenient and clean - Perfect room for us (elderly). planning another visit soon. Reasonably priced for the weekend. Actually cheap. If you're ever in Terrell and need a comfortable bed, sofa desk to work at, Great TV and quiet surroundings. You should definitely try Baymont. But please don't take my room. It's mine.
- Nolan (7/5): A Decent & Safe Night's Stay For The Money. - The hotel is fairly old, but clean, and well maintained. I loved the extra touch of the mananagement texting to see if we were comfortable and needed anything. That was a first. The grounds were clean, we felt safe on the property. I had requested a room on the quietest side of the hotel, but we were placed facing the interstate; but the room was very quiet. The TV, Fridge, and Microwave worked well. The mattresses were very firm, not what I'm accustomed to. The pillows were smaller and firmer than home also.
- Joshua (10/5): Exceptional - All of it None of it
- 946buddya (8/5): Fairly good stay for a few nights - Comfortable bed & couch, clean room, and bath facility. The only down side to it is the electric outlets that are so worn things don't stay plugged in, My Phone charger, computer cord, and more importantly my cpap machine simply fell out of the plugins
- Marjorie (8/5): Very good -
- Joseph (6/5): - Comfy beds needs new coffe maker in room it leaks.
- Catherine (4/5): - Room smelled.. stains on the couch and there were no linens for pullout and we had to go get them… towels smelled like they hadn’t been cleaned… only toiletries were body wash… hotel looked old and rundown
- edwardprender (10/5): Excellent - was excellent trip to Terrell. Hotel staff were so nice and helpful. area was so quiet and safe plenty of lights in parking lot, plus point they have truck parking. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable had good sleep wake up fresh. Thank you
- Edward (10/5): clean and comfortable - Everything was nice. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good, Wi-Fi was great, looks old from outside but they did some updates from inside but was clean and nice will back again
- Sherry (4/5): Not pleasent - Didn’t have breakfast the pool was a long way from my room not connected to motel fence was falling down. Won’t use again Everything
- Jonathan (7/5): Satisfactory stay - Microwave had over flowed coffee cup with coffe that was a week old, I cleaned it. Bathroom floor and carpet not cleaned Housekeeping doing a better job
- Maria (5/5): Passable - We enjoyed the waffles in the morning. Best part! The pullout sofa was broken, and there were no extra linens for it. Very disappointing.
- Dale (5/5): decent stay for the price you pay - did not assess or partake. i slept too late the bed was comfortable but would have liked another blanket. we asked and did get bedding for the pull out but they denied request for an extra blanket . there were 3 adults and 3 kids in two rooms even tho older hotel if it simply were clean on outside parking area and more light in the rooms i'd have been perfectly satisfied, even the pool was great
- Ericka (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jessica (6/5): Room was clean and comfortable but the location itself was somewhat run down - The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom were both clean The property was a little run down but you could tell the staff work hard to clean what they have to work with
- David (8/5): - Low price but a bit run down.
- Brian (10/5): - The staff at the Baymont was very very helpful and accomodating. My wife and I had to stay 5 nights due to a plumbing emergency in our home and we were lucky to have found the Baymont. Clean room and great breakfast. Best hotel staff I've ever dealt with.
- Thorne (10/5): excellent stay - staff are nice, Rooms were clean beds were comfortable, it was so quite at night, from outside it looks old but rooms are updated
- Rebecca (4/5): Sucked - Location The ac in my room didnt work
- Paul (6/5): Pleasant - It was under construction. Breakfast was not much.
- Jennifer (3/5): The bed was ok. - Location was good for where we had to go for a wedding. Definitely was not worth the money. Bathroom door was off the bottom hinge, looked like it had been chewed on by a dog, couch in the room was gross and exterior of hotel wasn't any better than a Motel 6.
- Emily (7/5): Good - The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable There was no water pressure in the showers
- Denise (2/5): - Not a good stay, sheets were stained, towels were dirty, and shower was not clean had lots of hair.
- Mark (1/5): It sucked - The rooms where dated and not like the pictures on website. The furniture was old and cracked up. Crack smokers paradise Nothing there was no beds bugs i sprayed the entire room and the bed before going to sleep
- torresalonso89 (10/5): Baymont Terrell - Had great family weekend trip during Christmas. Rooms were cleaned and updated, beds were comfortable had some choice of restaurants in walking distance. Place was quite and had plenty of parking for trucks.
- Myfloridasnook (4/5): It was rated 4 star on Google. Maps, not even close - This hotel according to Google maps was 4 star hotel. It was out dated door handles broken. Just run down. No USB ports, towels and sheets smelt like grandma's closet. Although i did not feel unsafe it was just the fact that it was rated so high I was disappointed.
- Anonymous (3/5): $102 for a short night with a 10 pound chihuahua. - Location There was no hot water. We couldn’t shower even after running a lot of water trying to wait for the temperature to rise. The carpets sure could have used a vacuum.
- Terry (10/5): - The staff was very pleasant transaction was smooth very nice people
- Cesar (10/5): - Great stay
- Nathan (8/5): Very good - very clean. bed was comfy. pillows could have been better. all in all nice place. would use them again nice staff. ac worked good. getting over all experience. staff also let me get breakfast even tho they were already shutting it down.
- Mike (10/5): - Was nice and clean had plenty of truck parking, so quiet and safe and had some dining options in walkable distance. They have basic continental breakfast scramble eggs and waffles.
- Catherine (10/5): You will not be disappointed! - I was starting to change my mind about staying here after reading reviews but we decided to try it out! We were not disappointed! We stayed here with our three kids. There was enough room for all of us and our luggage. The pool was so clear that we thought the cover was on it. The pool did not smell like bleach. The front desk people were so polite and helpful! Check in and check out we’re quick! Breakfast was delicious. They have a waffle maker.
- Forrest (6/5): Pleasant -
- Andres (8/5): Very good -
- Martha (10/5): - Very clean and quiet
- Charles (7/5): Good -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Rooms are cleaned, good friendly front desk, basic breakfast with limited choice, provide rooms service daily. Great location. Saw some negative reviews before but still gave a try and my experience was good will be staying at this location whenever in town.
- Breon (1/5): The worst place - Nothing This place smell like curry the room smell like curry the couch in the room had a cut in it the couch look like it was back from 1970 the hot water did not get hot pink splattered on the counters holes in the wall the remote to the TV did not work
- Wendy (1/5): Bad -
- GrandTour802243 (10/5): Great Hotel - The hotel is very clean, quiet and the staff is very helpful and friendly. It is also near places to eat and also has a large parking area for vehicles that are towing something or semi-trucks. The internet is very fast and allows me to get some work done easily on my laptop. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and if I had the opportunity, I would stay here again.
- Toryae (2/5): I couldn't shower - I called front desk to let them know my bath tub wouldn't drain the water out guy said he would come check but never came I called multiple times throughout my stay and no one ever came. Carpet had a nasty sent I always come to hotels with carpet freshener and bleach just to be safe but I used all my carpet freshener tryna kill that smell. I couldn't bathe
- Gustavo (2/5): - Was charged twice ( did get a refund after speaking with manager) room had terrible smell, receptionist had an attitude.
- Darrell (9/5): Superb -
- Courtney (7/5): Good value - Decent and clean Not enough pillows or towels
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lea (3/5): We didn't sleep well because of the light coming in, then water issue. Then then the water issue. - Location Drapes are crappy, light came in all night, water temp not very hot, oitlets near sink need replacing
- Linda (10/5): - Clean and private
- RAYMOND Bruce (6/5): - convenient to the people I was visiting. Wont stay there again
- Jimmy (10/5): Nice stay - Nice clean property, rooms were clean bonus point beds were comfortable, and was so quiet away from highway.
- TWT0urist (6/5): Not what I expected from Wyndham. - Staff was friendly. Hotel and room were clean. My issues were with the shower and breakfast. Shower piping was loose, no water pressure and hot water was lukewarm. Breakfast was lacking. Eggs tasted like water down powered eggs. No bacon, sausage, ham, biscuits and gravy or grits. Nothing to help those poor eggs. Waffle was the best part.
- Terry (6/5): - Air conditioner nob was broken and needed to call the front desk to fix it. Bathroom tub spout was broken, beds were hard and uncomfortable and people outside late screaming, and hollering
- Justin (8/5): What i expected. - The breakfast sucked. It didn't have much. Location was great.
- Kathy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Loraine (4/5): - The first room we were given had not been cleaned! Bed was not made, used towels were on bathroom floor.
Desk clerk said, “I just work here.”
Second room was acceptable.
Breakfast was very limited.
We have stayed at other Baymont hotels in the past and were satisfied with them, but the Terrell Texas Baymont needs serious attention. Our experience will make us far less likely to stay at another Baymont in the future.
- 408thereseb (4/5): Not for me! - We were traveling and had to quickly find a Wyndam hotel. I was leery when we drove up because it was a drive up to the door old style. The room had dark carpet, not a fan of carpet in hotels! There was not a drain stopper in the sink, it was missing, there were only 2 wash clothes, ( a pet peeve of mine with hotels, women need 2, there should be a minimum of 3 in any hotel room) the towels were thin, holes in the bathroom wall where the shelf had been moved( that’s is a lazy handyman). If you are hard up for a hotel then I guess it will do but if you have a choice I would pass it by!
- Lisa18 (2/5): Just don't - Run! Do not stay here. There are plenty of other options including staying in your car. AC worked great. We think the sheets were clean? I have stayed in better places in 3rd world Countries. No idea about the breakfast as we high tailed it out of there at first light.
- FELIX (8/5): - No handles on the shower. Dangerous. Had to hold on to the towel rack to get in and out of the tub.
- Jacqulyne (6/5): - The lobby smelled bad
- Billinda (4/5): Musty - I paid but ended up not staying. Smelly, old and run down
- james (10/5): Nice stay - Nice stay
- Dawkins (6/5): - Basic but still a little expensive. Half used shampoo and little else. Good location for our volleyball tournament.
- Judy (6/5): - Very outdated for hotel by Wyndham. I expected more. No Bible in room for me to read.
- chavezaljendro (10/5): Great place to stay - Nice location not far from highway. Sonic Waffle House, Starbucks are in walking distance. Room was tidy and clean, breakfast bar was ok with limited choice. Friendly staff. Highly recommend this place.
- Teresa (4/5): - Place was under construction but you could telm that is wasnt being cleaned properly. Got a non-smoking room and it smelled like cigarette. Haven't had an issued with a room until this reservation.
- Kenneth (6/5): - Over priced, pool bottom peeling, tub needs resurfaced. Continental Breakfast is minimal.
- royrN1134OT (6/5): Not Baymont Quality - I have been staying at Baymont, Wyndham for many years and have learned to trust these places for a good stay. Not this time. I was expecting Baymont quality but had a lesser experience. The sofa was so worn out, stained, loose arm and unsewn trim. If I sat on it, I was not able to get up very easily.. Bed was leveled with two by four blocks of wood, door didn't fit flush but it did lock securely.
Electric plug by sink was not a GFI and loose to unplug. Hairdryer did not work and had to request one brought to the room.
The pluses were the great friendly staff, decent safe parking, and a dollar vending machine for drinks. Overall.... Not worth the price I paid. I could stayed in the Motel 8 cheaper, cleaner, and comfort.
- Rebecca (4/5): - The bathroom had 2 dead spiders and pubic hairs on the floor. The caulking in bathroom was so old it was hanging off the tub. There was no blanket on the bed. 2 tiny pillows. Generally just dirty looking, perhaps because it was old? I would NOT stay here again.
- Cameron (8/5): - Liked the location of the room. Could have been cleaner and definitely could have been updated.
- Cheryl (10/5): Great stay - This was a wonder stay and very kind and helpful staff. Clean, spacious room. Made my stay very comfortable.
- Cheri (8/5): - Was nice for a quick getaway…nothing fancy, but staff was polite and helpful. Rooms were quiet and clean. Some renovations had been done and hopefully more are in the works. Furniture was old and should be replaced. But overall, it was a good experience.
- LASHONDA (8/5): - Nice & secluded! Quiet. Very friendly & hospitable staff!!!
- James (8/5): - Some very nice people are trying to whip an old property into shape..
- Johnathon (10/5): Trail ride cowboy - Everything was amazing, front desk clerk was super nice and housekeepers was wonderful. New carpet excellent service. I'd go back anytime!!!
