We stay in two different room for 2 night the air-cond got same problem. Our room door can't lock properly make us fell unsecured. Good thing is the counter staff is nice and friendly they try to solve our problem. Hotel location is prefect

Traffic noise at night might upset those who think quiet at night is best. Rooms have a slight odour. Not offensive . Water kettle tea and coffee provided. Beds comfy and clean. One floor is smoking rooms. Disgusting smell. Reception. Staff all very friendly and helpful. No language problems.Check in speedy. Stored our bags securely between check out and flight. Notices warn of penalties for smuggling Durian and other pungent fruit into rooms. Durian delicious at the nearby waterfront night market.

There was some broken glass in the carpet I stepped in and when I informed the receptionist he handled the matter incredibly professionally and empathetically, the manager ultimately apologized also and offered me a free nights stay, valid for a year. Now that’s what I’d call customer oriented service. Would stay again.

Lobby is nice but they decide to make the lobby good rather than remaking the rooms. Wardrobe placement is a weird one, in front of the door. Toilet and the floor is dirty.

The staff from the front desk are the loveliest people I've ever met and very helpful. They went beyond their standard task to give me directions in where to go, brought my luggage to my room and even lend me a local charger when I told them mine wouldn't work. I'm definitely staying with them again the next time I come to Kota Kinabalu.

- Tina L (8/5): Convenient and nice staff - The hotel was nice. The staff were friendly, it's in a great location (close to waterfront, malls and good restaurants). The room was big, had a fridge and bed was comfortable enough. The only cons were: Wi-Fi was very weak and slow in the room, the ac worked but it took all night to cool off the room and the shower never got hot, warm but not hot. All that said, it's still a good value because it's cheaper than most! And they did a stellar job cleaning up the room during our stay!!!

Suddenly blank in few minutes or few second of watching and repetitive. Need to manually switch off and on again and again. Volume suddenly became loud without u touch the remote. - Siew Teng (8/5): Within city area, very convenience!! - it is easy to get taxi services, all restaurants and food courts are within walking distance - with various of food choices, shopping malls within walking distance as well. It is very convenience!!!

The rooms were clean, have AC and the staff was friendly and responsive. The hot water runs on solar power so it was lukewarm at best but acceptable in Sabah's heat. It is located near the "Chinatown" area but it is a bit of a walk or a short ride to the jetty. Overall it was a good stay.
