- Paul (10/5): - Great stay and decent accommodations. Everything was good.
- Rebecca (8/5): Great location and friendly staff with a few minor details that need attention - The location and price was great and the lady at check in was very friendly, helpful & knowledgeable about the area. She had great recommendations for things to do and where to eat! The towels were excellent. The room was a bit untidy with bugs and hair in corners of the room, the sink and tub were slow to drain, no hair dryer in the room.
- Maine Kachris (10/5): - Clean, comfortable great location, great price, very nice staff
- Christina (9/5): -
- Julie (10/5): - Very homey and the view Nothing
- Robert (8/5): - L’accueil c’est bien passé La douche avait une fuite et la porte d’entrée n’avait pas de coupe froid

- Lundgren (3/5): I will never stay here again - When I arrived there wasn’t anyone in the office. There was a sign that you had to call on the phone for someone to come to the office. Which I found strange . The room was very old and out dated. When I opened the door I was hit with a very strong mothball type smell. The bed was very uncomfortable.
- Darrell (9/5): -
- William (8/5): -
- Hannah (4/5): Ok for the night - The staff was friendly The room had a weird smell to it. And there was some crumbs/dirt that wasn’t fully cleaned up
- Bonnie (5/5): -
- Kimberly Foster (3/5): Not recommended. Risk of infestion. - I liked that I could book online for a last minute stay. The lady at the desk was very nice and quick to accomodate. There were bedbugs. I pulled the little foot shawl off and found at least 4 bedbugs on top of the comforter. The lady at the front desk was quick to refund my money and was very apologetic about the situation. The furnishings were cheap and room vibe was 48 Hours material. There were apparently long term residents a few doors down. The bedbugs really freaked me out. I would prefer to bring back only memories from my NY trip.
- Mark (3/5): Adequate but no more. - Convenient location. Clean linen. No breakfast. Dead bugs in the bathroom. The AC is hardly working. Barking dogs. Smoking guests.
- ARETIE (7/5): I would stay again - Location - also the office lady was very nice No closet
- Michael (7/5): -
- Tonya (10/5): Safe , clean and reasonably priced. I will definitely stay again - Amazing view! Clean Nothing
- Cheryl (8/5): -
- Tony (10/5): My stay here was excellent I will definitely come back - I location was excellent the room was clean it was quit I can’t think of anything
- Jordy (10/5): - It's very close to the college SUNY Cobbleskill. There are restaurants and shops nearby. There is a gas station with fast electric car charging ports down the hill, at walking distance. You really can't walk to anything from this location but everything is a 2 to 3 minute drive away.
- Mariah (8/5): A good place to rest your head for the night. - Was able to check in early! Room was small but very clean. Bed was a little firm for my liking, but it worked. I could hear the upstairs toddler running around (probably partially due to the bare floors) Next time I'll probably request an upstairs room. Friendly service. A good place to rest your head for the night. Bathroom in the lobby wasn't clean
- rapant (7/5): -
- Kim (8/5): Great value - Great value and location Door handle on bathroom needs to be tightened
- William (9/5): -
- Fuller (7/5): -
- Young (5/5): - Girl at the desk was great Mattress was not great. There wasn't a single lampshade anywhere in the room...all bare bulbs...paint and flooring is new but everything else is very dated

- William (5/5): Adequate but feel over priced. - Location .
Ease of check in.
Beautiful view.
Desk person very efficient.
Bathroom was old run down but it was clean.
Towels were soft. Spiders everywhere.
No toilet paper roller, had to reach behind toilet tank to get roll.
Dirty sticky floor.
Box spring mattress cover was dusty and flies lying on it at head of bed, but other sheets clean.
In back of bed floor has dead flies and not clean and very dusty.
Above room could hear all movements.
Overall could use good upgrade. Shower curtain rod and heater rusted.

- Kim (7/5): Good value & close to college, would stay there again. - Close to SUNY Cobleskill. Good value for family weekend. Not a bad size for a hotel. Door handle of bathroom door ready to fall off. Needed cobwebs inside cleaned.
- Jose (8/5): So quiet, beautiful views, got great sleep - Quiet at night. Slept very well comfortable beds Coffee please
- Paul (8/5): - Was very easy to get in, just call from desk phone for help. We asked for more towels, no problem.
There was large flies in the room, understandably, but my kids were bugged out so that's why 4 star.
- FLORIDALMA (6/5): Weekend @ the Catskills, NY - My parents and I shared Room #124 along with my pet Lucky (dog) our room was clean and smell okay, but our bathtub was not clean at all, I had to cleaned before we went to take a shower, also there was not any toilet tissue paper, I had to go out to get one in the office. My brother and his family shared room #113 where the floors were dirty and dusty and the shower did not function at all they had $50.00 back on their reservation because they complaint to the office on the spot. Over roll the place is not bad it serves our purpose of staying for the night of the weekend on Sept. 27-28, 2025, It was comfortable and quiet and good place if you are traveling with pets.
- Joy (6/5): - People were nice who run the place, the room smelled & had various bugs & the floor was dirty, whoever they have doing their housekeeping needs to do better. The phone in room wasn’t working or the tv. Pretty view! The place needs some TLC so people feel comfortable!
- Charles (8/5): - no room for bus parking
- charles (1/5): -
- Kristy (10/5): -
- David (8/5): - ROOM 105.sink wont drain.stopper is filled with hair. And if you listen to tub wall you can hear dripping water. No tub towel for floor
- Valerie (8/5): - The rooms have been renovated since our last stay and everything was clean and fresh.
- Vicki (8/5): - The room was adequate, but the walls are thin and it was a bit noisy when we were there. Overall, a good option for a stay in the area.
- Dave- (8/5): -
- Marcelle (10/5): It was a wonderful stay - The view is beautiful. Sunsets must see.
located near Howe Caverns I love to visit
and Cobleskill great town. much to do There was not anything I did not like
- Ruth (8/5): - Convenient location Need for soap holder in shower
- Kay (10/5): -
- Lawrence (6/5): - Very convenient considering there’s nothing else really around the area, it was easy to get checked in and the two people at the front desk were nice. I wouldn’t say this place is dirty per se but I’ll just add that it is not the best. There was a basically completely used toilet paper roll in the bathroom and I’m guessing the room hadn’t been used for a bit because there was a dead ladybug carcass on the sheet. The floor of the bathtub is chipping and falling apart.
- Alison (4/5): Very conveniently located to the college. But there was a constant smell of smoke. I even bought a bag of microwave pop - Good location Smelled like smoke, needs updating, no top lock on the door.
- Celine (4/5): -
- william (6/5): Served the need - No breakfast offered Room very dark and door needs new seal to stop flies from entering
- Daniel (8/5): - Nice value, fire alarm went off frequently for no reason
- Justin (10/5): - The owner/manager was excellent! Friendly and very accommodating! We had to change hotels at the last minute and she got us the last 2 rooms.
- Keith (10/5): - Clean and safe
- Chloe (4/5): - This motel is over priced. First room provided smelled of mildew and cigarette smoke, and I was able to switch to a different room. The rooms may be “non smoking” but people smoke right outside the rooms. Room was humid with several flies inside. Very basic accommodations. Did not sleep well.
- Sharon (2/5): - Filthy room. Bed was horrible.
- Carolyn (6/5): - Needs maintenance
- Cosmin (10/5): -
- downes (9/5): - The room was very clean the staff was wonderful
- Wendy (3/5): Overpriced for a minimalist, run down motel. - The staff person who greeted me was kind. The bed and bath linens were clean. This hotel desperately needs to be completely renovated. It's shabby, run-down and worn out.
- Kathy M. (8/5): - Room could use some attention, no where no hang clothes, towel rack is pulling out of the wall. Fire alarm kept going off after bedtime, quite annoying. Bring a hair dryer, none in room. But I have to comment that room was very clean. We booked a king, but got put in a double, but was same price.
- Morgan (4/5): Not a great place to stay - I wasn’t expecting luxury when I booked a hotel, but I was expecting it to be clean. I’m not entering the room. It was fine until you noticed that above the dresser the mirror had been ripped off the wall and repainted. You went into the bathroom and the toilet paper is just stacked on the tank because there’s no toilet paper holder. The hairdryer mount was still there but no hairdryer. The heater was covered in dusted hair and when you opened up the sink, there was a roach motel with no roaches Somebody’s old body lotion and partially used up toilet paper roll. The room had not been cleaned as they were dead, beetles in all the corners and on the ledge where the mirror that had been removed had been.
- Palma (2/5): - The room was dirty the bed was terrible mattress and pillows awful. Picture of room sure looked different than online. Door frame was weak anyone could have broken no secure lock on door. Would give this motel a 0
- Alan (8/5): - Very quiet motel in a rural setting. Not many extras, but it was exactly what we needed. The staff directed us to an excellent restaurant for dinner and a nice local diner for breakfast.
- Johanies (10/5): - It was a nice quiet night did a quick little road trip to visit Howes Cave and this hotel was perfect location lost to the caves and dinning and shopping area.
- Monique (8/5): - It was pet friendly and quiet and a gas station just down the hillto left and they had a grill behind counter t get breakfast
- Paul (6/5): In the middle of nowhere - Through the options were quite a ways away the bed was OK just set too low to the ground
- Leah (1/5): Dirty and over priced!!!! - Front desk lady is nice but that's the only good thing about the place. Dirty place all over the place. The dead bolt locks don't work either on the rooms.
- Brenda (8/5): - We didn't stay long as we arrived later than anticipated. So we didn't get the opportunity to check many things out. The beds were super comfy. It was close to the college which is why we stayed there. It would have been nice to have a continental breakfast, but that was not an option.
- Bryan (10/5): - Close to Cooperstown. Bed was comfortable and the room was cold
- Charles (7/5): Good -
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Worked out good for a relatively close stay to Cooperstown during Induction Weekend
- Jill (7/5): Good -
- Scott (8/5): - Good experience, Clean, quiet property convenient to highway and a short drive to Cobleskill.
- Laurie (8/5): It was convenient, peaceful and relaxing. - Beautiful view of the mountains, quiet area, cleanliness of room and nice welcoming staff member No breakfast or 24 hour coffee available.
- Ed (10/5): - The beds are comfortable. The property isn’t fancy but it was clean and far enough off the road that it was quite.
- Michael (8/5): Thank you - We were there just to get away for a couple days.check in was easy and she was very helpful of places to eat and see in the area.
- Mark (10/5): - Friendly staff
- Guest (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maack (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thomas (8/5): Very suitable - No breakfast Shower has no shelves for soap etc
- Stuart (8/5): - It was clean, but older. No place to put our recycled items. Very close to our destination. Nice view of the mountains.
- Dean (9/5): Superb -
- H (6/5): Pleasant -
- Tatiana (6/5): - The price is too high for this motel.
Beds are very comfortable, but everything in the room, bathroom looks very worned out, chipped table, chair. Window can't be open at all.
- Effie (10/5): Everything was just perfect. -
- Ana (5/5): Passable -
- David (6/5): - Staff was nice, room smelled of smoke somewhat. Wife says floor was dirty. Nothing offered for breakfast at all, no clock or hair dryer in the room. Poor value for nearly $150. Nice places to eat in town, which is fairly close.
- Emily (6/5): - The bed was comfortable. The curtains let in light. The air conditioner worked well. I would have preferred a cleaner room. The sheets had fluff on them and there were desicated bugs in the bathroom.
- Alex (7/5): Good -
- Wolk (1/5): I would never stay again, I would never invite anybody to do so. - The only thing I liked was the location where it was. The shower would not drain the floors were disgusting. I put my arm on night table and stuck to it like glue. Blood, or some kind of red stuff on cabinet, gross,
- J (4/5): Disappointing - Operator was nice and helpful Water had a tan color said to be safe.
- Frederick (5/5): Overall, not the best nor the worst place I've stayed in, but this hotel needs a little more TLC. - The bed and pillows were some of the most comfortable in any hotel I've ever stayed at. The layout of the room - for one person - was fine. Overall cleanliness of the room was very disappointing. The floor, which is a faux hardwood floor, had dead bugs and cat food along the edge by the desk, dust and hairs (animal) under the bed, and the floor was in need of several moppings. Had I worn any white socks, I am convinced that they would require being discarded due to the level of dirt in the floor.
- Greg (2/5): This was a mistake. - There were insects crawling on the floor and one on the bed. Water was brownish. The worst motel I’ve ever stayed in. I could not wait to leave.
- Nauzika (5/5): Passable - The tap water was soo dirty we couldn't drink it.
