We went back to the desk and talked to Steve about it. he gave us a different room. before he gave us the room he made sure the room was in good shape. If we make it back to the area we would stay there again. thanks again Steve for going beyond taking care of us.

• Ian (4/5): - When I stayed, it was under renovation, so the facility was not in excellent condition. Maybe the facility will improve after the renovation. The excellent staff made up for it though. They were very friendly and accommodating. I will give this a shot again though. Hopefully it will be a different experience when the construction is completed.
• Paul (4/5): Not the best stay - Not the best hotel to stay at! Advertises that they had breakfast but then didn't serve any. same with the pool says they have one but was closed. Doing work on the roof late at night and had to listen to hammering. Person at the counter was rude. There was one that was very helpful

Also, "construction" supposedly being done in the breakfast area AND pool area, so no breakfast, no added amedities were offered. Woke up to banging in the room next door AND the room above at 7am! Electric tape holding things together, clothesline clips were holding the curtain on the rod. A 3 inch gap under every room door. No other lock on the door other than the one on the door handle. I was there with my daughter for orientation at BSU, i didnt feel safe at all. Not a bad area at all, so i guess i expected to atleast see what i saw on the website. If i could have canceled i would have. I would never recommend or even come back!

• Andrea (2/5): - The new owners have had this property for two months as of April 25, 2025 & they’re remodeling it. That’s nice but their rooms are not yet. Upon checking in, they informed me the pool & breakfast area are still under renovation so those aren’t available (they did say we could go to the Baymount next door for breakfast). So understandable. The first room was hot, stuffy, and smelled musty. Cobwebs were along the ceiling above the beds, paint scraped off the walls, and the air conditioner didn’t work. The second room had a large spot of water damage on the ceiling & mold growing in it. The water damage on the ceiling of the 3rd room was worse than the second. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice & gave me a full refund & we stayed somewhere else that night. It has potential, but right now is not a good place to stay.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Not worth the stay even at half the cost. - Kitchen and pool were closed for remodeling, so no breakfast, and hotel refused discount. Room was what I would expect from a 3 star hotel. Clean, but run down. Very thin sheets and towels. Non-smoking room smelled of cigarette smoke and cleaning agent. Several customers parked in parking lot and playing loud music - hotel did nothing.

My family and I was stuck here until our house was ready and being new to this state we were upset about it. From the moment we walked into the doors until the moment we left everyone on the staff went above and beyond and I do mean everyone! The housekeeping lady who was so sweet. The property managers everyone was kind. Even the other people at the hotel. We felt welcome and comfortable and I just wanted to tell all of the people at this establishment that your staff is AMAZING!
• Dakota (6/5): - Not an awful stay overall, but we noticed trash in our room when we entered as well as a few dirty or non-functional appliances. Litter containers outside of the doors for cigarettes is not the best look. Investing in actual products for cigarettes would be a worthy investment. The staff shall also ensure that the entirety of the room is clean. Unsure of the staffing levels but a revamped staff or management to better increase morale could additionally be a good investment.

Everything felt grungy - unvaccumed, stains on bedding, stains all over the carpet, ceiling paint peeling, empty vending machines, no coffee…. We usually pick a budget hotel, but have never had one that felt this dirty. We bought Febreze and sprayed clothes after we left.

NASTY I guess we were lucky that there was someone at the front desk when we arrived after that there was No One there until the next day at Checkout Time HORRIBLE STAY!!! We DESERVE A REFUND!
• Jared (2/5): - Staff not present! People having to supply their own pillows and sheets from walmart. Not given towels or room cleaning over two night stay. No bowls or plates for "breakfast" , only given waffle mix and waffle maker, cheap oatmeal creme pies and cheep pastry from gas stations, no other food. All guests were very vocal at their disgust, throwing door keys to unoccupies front desk and leaving the premises very dissatisfied. Gives quality Inn a very bad name!!!!
• Timothy (2/5): - We checked in at 9pm and the front desk had to check to see if the room had been cleaned. She had to get towels for as there were not enough in the room. The room was damp and musty. I killed an inch-long centipede crawling along the walls. The paint on the ceiling above the shower was cracked and falling into the tub. At no point during our stay did I see maid service anywhere in the hotel. I had to request towels each day and used towels were never removed from the room during our stay. The common eating area was always dark with all the chairs put up onto the tables. Both ice machines were out of service. It was a terrible stay--do not book rooms here.

No protein. No eggs. No bacon or sausage. Also, the men's toilet on the hall was ripe from someone's mishap that went uncleaned the 2 nights we were there.

Blankets dirty and turned over so you couldn’t see. Coffee in the room but nothing to stir it with or condiments to put in it and not to mention it was placed on the shelf in closet area. Very disappointed and unhappy with this stay the worst part was the smell. It was horrible and I won’t stay here ever again!!!!

Door to room was open, dirty, bathroom dirty, no linens, half used individual toiletries, "stuff" on walls, beds, dust everywhere. Left, went to find another hotel, came back and checked out. Manager said I had to take it up with Expedia. We literally were checked in for 2 hours. There were people hanging around, chairs on top on tables in dining area, showed as PERMANENTLY CLOSED on GPS. Empty vending machines in lobby, it literally looked like they opened just to get $$ from those attending the college graduation, myself included.

• John (2/5): Vile, frightening and disgusting. - Staff fighting, torn carpets, load noises in the halls, half the lights out. This place has it all!! This includes junkies (and maybe prostitutes I can't be sure) roaming the halls, plus drug deals in the parking lot. I am not kidding. If you still want to stay, enjoy the loaf of bread, half container of milk and Lil' Debbie snack cakes that are put out for you at the complimentary 'breakfast'. But get there early before the Meth-Heads grab them all up. There is no pool. There aren't even towels. It is truly frightening and needs to be torn down. Shame on Hotels.com for allowing this to be booked on this site.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Left & Stayed Elsewhere - Very rough. Checked in. Got to the room and it wreaked. Contacted hotel staff and they first said they could do nothing. Said we would leave. So they moved to a room not much better and very trashy area. Did not feel safe. Staff wouldn’t do anything. Left 2 paid rooms for several days to stay elsewhere. Just couldn’t stay here!
• Verified traveler (2/5): - Check in was supposed to be at 3. When I got there. There were 4 children blocking the entrance on their bikes. I later discovered they are the children of the maid and front desk worker. When I got there at 3:40 she said the room was not ready to give them 15-20 minutes. I waited in the car for 25 minutes and walked inside and it was still not ready. This was after 4pm at this point. We ended up going for dinner and coming back 2 hours later and were able to get in. The rooms were very gross there was no view because there was a trash bag over the window. The tv did not have a remote, I believe they hid it because when I manually turned the tv on it was shattered and unwatchable. The vending machines had no snacks and they had already put breakfast away before it was even 9am. Would not recommend staying here at all. Even if you need to go over a town it would be better than staying here. Also the door locking was very unstable I did not feel comfortable staying here. I should have just got a motel.
• Muriel (2/5): Needs lots of help - Reserved 2queen beds got a full size and a pull out shower rod broken hair on toilet tv didn’t work pool broke. Changed to another room they had no rooms that I requested ended up with the same type full size and a pull out overheard workers say they had found 6 I assume bed bugs so far sheet on pullout had yellow stains was hard to find the people at the front desk when I wanted to ask for a refund even Hotels.com didn’t get an answer after 3 tries
• Theresa (2/5): - The room had visible holes in the walls, outlets that didn’t work, outlets missing the cover, plastic sheeting taped over the window, the ceiling in the shower was peeling, the fan in the bathroom was dusty and filthy. I would never stay there again.
• LyleM (2/5): Very Poor - I stopped for one night while on an interstate driving trip. I wish I had stayed somewhere else. The accommodations were old, worn, and had various maintenance problems. The hotel was noisy and uncomfortable. The whole place just seemed quite run down. I was very disappointed with this hotel. When I complained to the hotel, I got the same old story about how they hope to do better in the future. That doesn't help with the uncomfortable and frustrating experience I had.

Front desk was unmanned a majority of the time. Phone was never answered, so we would have to search until we came across someone for anything needed. Would not recommend.

• Troy (2/5): OMG - Gross - This place is absolutely awful. Check-in was fine and then we entered the room. The room had an old musky odor and carpet was stained. When checking the room out, there were stains on both comforters, food, or what we thought was food, was plastered on the wall and mirror was not cleaned. We had an event to go to so we left. On the drive to our event, we decided that we are not staying in that hole and booked the Quality Inn in Anderson. We’ve stayed there before and knew it would suit our needs.

When I asked why the amount I was charged was different than what I was told, she tells me there's a 2.50 fee for credit card processing. Who still charges the consumer a processing fee? We got to the room and I immediately began checking the room for cleanliness and bed bugs. Kudos to the housekeeping staff! The room was exceptionally clean! The rooms are older and it's easy to tell that but for what you pay it can't be beat. The bed was comfortable as well! Breakfast was a little disappointing. Oh and we booked a king room for two guests but there was only one towel and one wash cloth and no bath mat. The young lady who worked later in the evening was much friendlier.

• Kyle (4/5): - The hotel itself is perfect if you’re on a business trip (like myself). But the staff, absolutely terrible. My first night, the attendant appeared to be drunk. Arguing in front of your customer, while on the job, not very professional. Another night, I waited almost 30 minutes at the front desk for the attendant. Only to be rudely argued with because he wasn’t present. Come to find out, it was actually the manager. I will be making a corporate complaint because it’s just unacceptable. If you’re in this kind of service, you’re expected to provide it. The cost and room are absolutely affordable and accommodating. The staff is not suitable to represent the hotel at all.
• Scott (2/5): Disappointing - Heat was off in roof when i arrived, it was below freezing outside. There were no towels or cups in the room. The hair dryer did not work. One of the beds did not fit on the frame causing it to tip to one side when i sat on the edge of the bed

• pamela (2/5): Look elsewhere... - This is not somewhere I would ever stay again. The only reason I gave one star was because the lady working the front desk was friendly. We arrived at 7PM and it was about 40 degrees outside and there was no heat turned on in the room, there were also no towels in the room... they delivered when I called. The paint in the bathroom was peeling off the ceiling in many areas, the curtains were hanging off, there was a stain on the bed spread and the lamp had crusty dirt on it. The bathroom was mostly clean are were the bed linens which is the reason I stayed. I was also travelling with a young child and didn't want to start looking, not be able to find something and then have to convince them this was safe to stay.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Not great, but we only stayed 1 night. - Wasn't very clean. Front seat was not friendly. We had to ask for extra bedding, pillows, and towels as we had 4 people in a room but those items were not provided. The housekeeper lady was very friendly and helpful when getting the extra items for us. Our room needed a good cleaning and a few things fixed that would be simple, if they'd take the time. (Toilet paper holder, and curtains falling off the rod.)
• Jonathan (6/5): - The night shift worker was rude because I had to ask him to get a tray that goes in the coffee pot and a spoon to eat cereal!! He had to quit watching videos on his phone for 3 mins and walk down the hall!
• Steven (4/5): College visit - We got to our room and couldn't wait to relax in the bed . My daughter gets on hers and it almost fell to the floor on one side ( she had to stay in the middle of the bed to keep from moving) i proceed to get in mine and it does the same i thought i was going to fall to the floor thank god my husband helped even it out but bam he gets up to go to the bathroom and i held on for dear life (room #125) if we didnt have such a long day id have asked for a room change. My husband then was changed and headed to enjoy the pool and to our surprise it was drained. Breakfast was oatmeal cream pies,instant oatmeal and waffles needless to say not very continental so we checked out early to find a real Breakfast that didnt included oatmeal cream pies
• Sarah (2/5): - I checked in at 5:30pm, put my suitcase in the room and left for an event. Came back at 9:30pm, the room had a weird smell, the sheets were stained, and had a huge wolf spider by the door. I was refused a refund because it was after 9pm. I checked out and stayed somewhere else. Not much by way of customer service. The lady at the front desk just said "OK", like she couldn't be bothered by my complaints, didn't even offer an apology. Needless to say I will never stay there again.

• Erica (6/5): Quality Inn- where is the quality? - They offered breakfast but what was truly breakfast? Taking a shower felt like I was going to fall through the tub. Pool was closed and so was the workout room. No business center. This is my second and last time doing a quality Inn. These hotels are only good if you’re just passing through town.
• marc (2/5): Hello, are you open??? - I wasn’t even sure if this hotel was open when we got inside. There were many rooms that were used for storage with the doors open stains on the bedsheets when you went down for breakfast all the chairs were on top of the tables and you had to put them down on the floor. Thank God it was only a one day trip… Won’t be coming back to this hotel! Called is the front desk for a wake up call and let it ring 20 times. Still no one answered.
• roxier750 (2/5): Not a good hotel - No shower curtain in the room. The hotel attendant told me I should have noticed when I checked into yhe hotel. Unfortunately I didn't Notice until I was getting ready to jump into the shower in the morning. I was provided used as shampoo and conditioner bottles. There was no toilet paper dispenser available. The outlet for the blow dryer did not work at all. Just a bad experience all around. I do not recommend this hotel if you're looking for comfort and cleanliness. When I ask for a discount, they told me. I wish their staff just would have done your job.
• Christina (4/5): - Need to upgrade housekeeping. Free breakfast not really. Pool out of service. False advertising and does not manage photos online.

• Craig (2/5): - Breakfast was bad. No AC in lobby and AC was not on in the room. 90 degrees in Muncie. Room was Dirty. Office chair broken. Floors stained. Used soap left in shower
• Rich (4/5): - Nobody is ever at the front counter to check in, the room was extremely dirty, where we had to go buy cleaning supplies to clean it ourselves. The carpet had dust falls all over and there was nasty hair everywhere in the bathroom we thought by having a free breakfast, it would even it out, the coffee was ice cold and almost pure water and there was barely any items for breakfast. We ended up going to McDonald’s. It said there was a pool and upon getting there they said the pool was not open. The hallways were covered with food and large crumbs everywhere i just wanted to lock myself in my room until morning . All of the vending machines had maybe one item in them and only took cash and there’s no ATM. I very much wish I paid the extra money to go to the Marriott down the street.

• Jason (4/5): - I don’t ever write reviews and this place made me want to.. at one point housekeeping came and took our towels and didn’t replace them. We had to go to the front desk to ask for them only to find out there were none so we had to wait until the next morning. In the AM we went to ask the front desk about towels again and they were extremely rude at which point we were asked to retrieve them from housekeeping ourselves! Unbelievable! The ice box in our room looked as if it had been urinated in and not cleaned as well as the carpet had fuzz balls on it that looked like human hair.. would NEVER stay here again!

• Sarah (4/5): Not that great - Walked into a dirty room. I found a dirty towel and past guest shirt left behind. No towels were available. Asked hotel worker for more towels and they never gave me any towels the whole week I was there. Damp room, lights we burnt out or one light was working. Not a good experience. Definitely don’t recommend. That’s why the price was cheap.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Disgusting - It was the worst place i have ever stayed. Carpet was filthy. Big black sticky spots, no towel bar, no luggage stand. Something was on the carpet that was full of ants. And one of the ice machines closest to my room was broke and the pool was not available. Didnt know the area or i would have looked else where.

• ltice1021 (2/5): Do not stay here! - Do not stay here!!!! Everywhere smells like stale cigarette smoke. None of the hot water heaters work. The pool hasn’t worked in a year. Every room had disrepair. Housekeeping did not come consistantly and did not do a good job when they did. Continental breakfast was non-existent. Honestly, we’ve rough camped in nicer settings and that’s what helped us cope with staying there since there was nothing else available during our conference. Quality Brands should be closing this hotel.
• Sierra (2/5): - Guy at the front desk didn’t care to do his job. First room smelled like cigarette smoke and and the second room we requested was dirty from the last guests that stayed and no towels.
• Roma (6/5): - Booked specifically for amenities. Arrived to find pool was (and had been) closed for maintenance. Ice machine which was Supposed to provide ice and water was broken.
• Trisa (2/5): Avoid this "Quality" Inn - My stay was because of a conference, and many members of my conference were staying here. I heard similar complaints from all of them. We all reported them with no results. There was no quality in this "Quality" Inn. Not one member of my group (multiple rooms) had a hot (or even warm!) shower any of the three mornings we were there. Among many concerns-my room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, the bathroom door was broken, there was no tp holder, and the shower curtain rod was falling out of the wall. Housekeeping took out the garbage and replaced a towel, but did not replace coffee or anything else and everything in the room was covered in a thick layer of dust.
• I6468NJchristineb (2/5): 🤢🤮🤢🤮 how do you give negative ⭐️s 🤢🤮🤢🤮 - Run don’t walk! This place is disgusting! Walked in room and walked out! Did not even stay. Too many issues to list. Couch was stained and gross , holes in the wall, no lamp shades, curtain was not fully attached, bug on ceiling, toilet was disgusting, ect., ect. (And that’s just the room, not even commenting on the rest of the place)!!! Asked to speak to manager (who was on the phone with front desk employee) I was told by such employee that the manager couldn’t speak to me that he was in a meeting (it was 11pm at night). I was told to call back tomorrow after 9:30am for my $390 refund. I called back at 9:45am next morning and was told manager will not be in til 9pm. Seriously!!!! Called corporate and they did advise me I did receive a refund! I have NEVER wrote a bad review in my life, as a business owner I deal with issues in person not on media. Went down the street to Holiday Inn Express, I advise you do also. This place is beyond gross, I am shocked they are not shut down by the board of health.
• 688taneshas (2/5): DO NOT STAY HERE! ZERO STARS! - If you have a choice between staying here and driving 30 minutes for a better option, choose the drive! First and foremost we got there to a disgusting pillow laying on the bed. No towels, we asked for towels and apparently they had none?! So, the front desk clerk finally searched up two mismatched wash clothes and 2 mismatch bath towels. After going to Walmart to buy pillows to sleep on we went to sleep for an early day the next day. The next morning, after a lukewarm shower because they also have zero hot water, we talked to the manager who attempted to make it right and found us a few towels to get to the next day. Checkout day, i forgot my watch in a rush to leave. I called hotel to ask if housekeeper found it and the reply’s “you’re going to need to come ask her yourself”. The complete audacity! $400 for a weekend and this is the service received, disgusting rooms and zero customer service! Do not and I repeat DO NOT stay here. The close proximity to Ball State was the only plus. Completely overpriced for what is offered!
• Doug (2/5): Save you money and book elsewhere. - Not sure where to start…. Got into town a little early but they wouldn’t let me check in 1/2 hr early….not a big deal Had to put my shoulder into room door to get it to open and it wouldn’t close on its own. The pool was closed for maintenance and the ice machine didn’t work. Went to make coffee the next morning and there was a moldy tea bag in coffee pot. Went to lobby to get coffee and it was cold out of the pot. Continental breakfast was toast, oatmeal cream pie’s or waffles but out of syrup. Only good thing I can say is that the bed was comfy and I slept like a dcrago@comcast.net.
• N6604BAsharonb (8/5): Clean and Comfortable in a Safe Area - We stayed here while we were attending the Little 500 in nearby Anderson. The staff were very hospitable, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Since it is Memorial Day weekend, rooms in the area are at a premium. We are here for another night, and we are very happy with our room. This hotel is quiet, which is also nice. Having 2 tv's in a suite was a nice touch too!

• Charles (4/5): - The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They did what they could to resolve in any issues. That was the highlight of the stay. Booked a suite for the night for my daughter's college graduation. The room was DIRTY. Chain was broke off the door, shower rod was just hanging there in the wall and stains all over the walls. Room had a sleeper sofa with no sheets, blankets or pillows available. Only had two pillows period for the room. Desk lamp was not working. Once again, the staff did the best they could to resolve problems.

• Tammie (2/5): Worse service and hotel - I did not arrive until 8p.m check in was suppose to be room ready at 3. The room had not been cleaned and they made us wait in the lobby. They put clean sheets on, no towels and the carpet was not vacuumed. There was crunchy stuff all over the floor. When we got to the room the cleaning lady said sorry that’s the best she could do she had just been told to clean this room as we checked in. After 10 pm and three calls down asking for the towels and a pillow my granddaughter went down and was given two towels and our pillow was a pillow case with sheets stuffed in it. They did not greet me, thank me or help me in anyway and when I asked for my receipt they were out of paper. I talked to the manger and for $200.00 this was terrible service and he said I just work here and no refunds for any reason. I did not sleep and was heartbroken this was my granddaughter graduation weekend from Ball State. The pool was under maintenance and the night before we had stayed at the Hampton and it was so nice!
• rebeccaaY8583SZ (2/5): Awful! - Terrible! $334 per night! This is a $60 per night hotel at best. Dirty, made to look like it’s being repaired but it’s not. We stayed back in August to move our child into college. Everything looks the same, maybe worse. Very tacky unprofessional employees. Only two towels wick makes me think the bathroom wasn’t cleaned before our arrival because the shower had soap scum in it. Graffiti in the bathroom. Extremely rusted hinges on the bathroom door. Light covers in beige screws white. Seems like a little thing but could not have been done by a professional. Shower water was lukewarm. Loud banging on roof all night! Extremely stained and filthy furniture in common areas. A conference room that has been used as a catch all for junk in plain sight since last August. Pool is out of order. According to other reviews I’m seeing it was out of order 2 years ago as well! We didn’t even attempt breakfast! Awful, so unprofessional and way, way to overpriced!
• Victoria (4/5): - Pool was closed, didn’t know until after we checked in. Could not access workout room. Room was unlocked on more than one occasion. There was trash and dirty clothes found in our room. Tv had no remote. Otherwise the location is great, guest services was friendly but it would’ve been nice to know the amenities were not available when we booked. Will not stay here again.

• 376billp (4/5): Sad no longer usable hotel. - Stayed last minute. This has gone so down hill! When we 1st Stayed here several years ago it was fine. Clean older and had been used. But now completely different. Dirty, needed cleaned! Looked like our room 255 hadn't been used or vacuum or moped in a long time. Loose tiles around toliet and shower. Sink clogged. Painted ceiling? Never again. Poor guy at desk seemed to be the only employee period.
