Guest Reviews
- Christopher (10/5): Great Location - Location
Friendly staff It was a hot day!!
- Robert (10/5): Convenient and comfortable - Convenient for downtown Theatre and Ebbitt Grill. Large two bathroom two bedroom apartment
- Winston (1/5): RUN….BEWARE OF THE LISTING NOTHING ABOUT THIS APARTMENT MATCHES THE LISTING!!! NASTY ISNT EVEN THE WORD - The location and downstairs area is the only thing that’s remotely nice Run! Nothing luxury about this apartment. Upon arrival there was a strong smell of like cat urine. I contacted the property and they were going to send someone out to check it out. The air took about 6 hours to starting working. Two women showed up and couldn’t speak English, so thanks to Google Translate we were told they were here to change the cover on the bottom of the master bed. That wasn’t a complaint so why wasn’t our room cleaned and inspected before arrival. This apartment itself looks nothing like the pictures, it’s horrible. Nasty isn’t even the word. Chairs in dining ripping at seam. The rug and living room furniture needs to be thrown out, my daughter went to open the sofa bed and clearly as you can see in photos below is stained and was still wet. Springs were missing from the frame to hold up the pathetically called mattress. There’s stains everywhere. My younger daughter was going to use an extra cover that has brown and blue stains all over, the second bed is about to collapse at anytime. Several kitchen items not washed brand new in wrapping. Stains under the washer and at front door needs some definite bleach attention. They truly shouldn’t be allowed to rent this room! I have several more pictures to show the level of nasty and how it looks nothing like advertised
- Jamin (9/5): -
- Nelly (4/5): - location was great The corridors and alleys were dirty
- Alexander (3/5): We booked a one-bedroom apartment (851 ft²) based on the photos and description provided on Booking.com, which showed a - To be fair, the apartment was clean, the building lobby is well-maintained, and the location is excellent. Misleading listing – not the apartment that was advertised.
The unit had only one small window facing a wall, resulting in almost no natural daylight. The space felt dark and claustrophobic, and the layout did not resemble a proper one-bedroom apartment as advertised.
In addition, there was constant noise (likely from a generator or building equipment) and a noticeable gasoline-like odor, which made it very uncomfortable to stay in the room.
We specifically chose this property based on how the apartment looked in the listing and even canceled another accommodation option in the same neighborhood because this one appeared more suitable for our stay. That made the discrepancy even more disappointing.
When we raised the issue, management did not offer relocation to a comparable unit. Instead, we are now going through a refund review process, which takes time and adds further inconvenience during what was supposed to be a short and enjoyable trip.
- Saoleang (1/5): -
- Celli (1/5): À éviter - Le calme L’hôtesse d’accueil et les toilettes qui ont débordés en pleine journée
- Jessica (5/5): Safe and great location, but far from luxurious. - The location was great. The entryway felt safe. I recall reading there was concierge, but they made it very clear they were only there to provide keys for our stay. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were nice and clean. We were allowed a one hour early check-in upon arriving. Zeke's coffee secret door at the entrance was my saving grace. The second bedroom had two twin beds which was perfect for our teenagers. We utilized the washer and dryer in the apartment as it's always nice to have not as much dirty laundry upon arriving home. We arrived one hour early to the property and were met with much confusion. The concierge noted that our arrival was dated a week prior to our actual arrival and also showed us that our exit was dated at almost 4 weeks later on 4/6/26. We booked a 4 night stay. Upon calling the property management, similar confusion was also noted that the lease of the apartment was in my name and not for the dates requested through Booking.com. The management company did allow us to check in early, as we apparently were supposed to be in the property for the past week? The apartment we were provided was in need of updates. #1002 The floor in the kitchen was separating, one of the vents was covered with plastic wrap and others had residue left behind where they had previously been covered as well. When showering each morning, around 8:30am, there was no hot water, to the point, we thought there was an issue with our apartment in general so we contacted the management to notify of the concern. We received a message that maintenance was notified and they would be apprised to the concern and we would not need to be there for when they came. We never received any additional update or follow up after. One of the keys that we were given to the apartment did not work for the door, so we only had one working key. With the provided response time of the hot water concern and the lack of helpfulness from the desk downstairs, we opted to manage with one key and ensure that we had it with us at all times. At $400 a night, if I were to do it over, I would choose a hotel instead. We didn't use the apartment to prepare any food or really any other amenities other than the second bedroom with two twin beds for the kids. The washer was great, however, is in need of maintenance as the horrific sounds it makes during any spin cycle was concerning enough to get up and check.
- BARBARA (10/5): excelente estadia, bem localizado, confortável e limpo! - não tinha café da manhã, mas eu sabia...a Localização era fantástica (fiz tudo a pé), era muito limpo, muito confortável....gostei muito e recomendo...só achei meio caro!
- Maribel (10/5): Our stay was great and the location was even better. - This property was great very spacious and close to all the sights There was some minor wear and tear to the apartment but over all it would stop me from staying there again
- Benjamin (10/5): very comfortable and clean and in a great location - very Clean and comfortable, great location near white house.
- MONICA (10/5): Nice place - Location, staff very friendly. Near monuments and nice restaurants. Perfect for a family and spacious. Fully equipped kitchen with all things new. Internet did not work properly.
- Jesse (8/5): - Great location and even though the pictures did not match the room great space. A few maintenance concerns one of the outlets were sticking out of the wall, and a few of the lights flickered like it was haunted. Besides that make sure you know they’re going to do protesting near the White House because if they do, you cannot drive back they block off all the roads.
- Tsz Ching (8/5): -
- Stoodley (8/5): -
- Christopher Allen (10/5): -
- Ankia (10/5): - Excellent location Some light dusting of lights required
- Sulek (3/5): Stay at your own risk. - Location was great. Close to the White House.
Unit was roomy and had a full kitchen. Furnishings were ok. Unit had a washer and dryer. Tried to do a load of wash. The washing machine stopped with drum full of water. I called emergency number, and left a message. I never heard from them. I had to wring out water by and put in dryer. The clothes were still dirty ..
I also had trouble with the heat. Thermostat was set at 68 but the temperature in room was a very uncomfortable 77. The windows do not open so it was very uncomfortable.
I reported these two major concerns. The only response afteri checked out was that they would notify maintenance.
Understand there is no NO ONE on the premises to assist you! Stay at your own risk.
- Courtney (8/5): - Lots of space to spread out, great location Photos are nicer than the actual apartment is in person
- Lawson (8/5): -
- Hsuan (8/5): -
- Valentina (8/5): - The apartment The noise from the heating system in the apartment
- Mark (10/5): Amazing experience, will return. - Very spacious, well equipped, clean and great location. Showers were a little small
- Diane (8/5): Great location and spacious 2 bedroom with 2 bathrooms. Convenience of washer dryer. - Great location and spacious 2 bedroom with 2 bathrooms. Convenience of washer dryer. Some small maintenance issues like light bulbs out, toilet paper holder broken etc but overall clean apartment.
- Lovell (5/5): - Very good location friendly and helpful staff easy check in and out The bed was the only problem it was absolutely hard as a rock to where it left my body sore better beds are needed in such an expensive apartment
- Brian (6/5): -
- Andrew (6/5): - Location was great
Size of apartment was great It took more than a day to receive a blanket for the sofa bed.
The sofa bed was so uncomfortable we had to take the mattress off the sofa bed and put it on the ground.
- Jayakusuma (10/5): -
- Shee Maye (8/5): Great place and amenities in the heart of DC - Amenities were great! Everything was provided, all our requests were addressed and the property was responsive. Overall a wonderful stay and will definitely stay there again! We had issues with connecting to the WiFi on our first night but it was resolved the next day.
- Bryony (9/5): -
- Majken (9/5): -
- renae (6/5): Good location, has what you need but very outdated and needs some general maintenance - Location was perfect. Facilities in the apartment were good Furniture needs updating…. Mattress really uncomfortable. It’s all old and outdated and not comfortable. Bathroom lights flicker constantly and Not very clean either.
- Pamela (10/5): -
- Michael (8/5): We will stay again, just please maintain property - Location Routine maintenance tasks weren’t completed. Lights out in bathrooms. Toilet paper holders not secure to wall. Closer doors difficult to close. Need extra blankets
- Fabiano (10/5): Espetacular - Tudo,
Espaço, localização, limpeza, tudo perfeito Não tenho nada a reclamar
- Scanlon (8/5): - There was hair on the walls in both showers. In general the apartment, especially the bathrooms, were not clean.
- Shannon (5/5): Beautiful place, great location, horrible sleeping - It was beautiful and in a great location for the purpose of our trip. The mattress absolutely SUCKED!! Flimsy, uncomfortable, worst night’s sleep ever!!
- Mahmoud (8/5): -
- Mahmoud (8/5): -
- TEDDY (10/5): -
- Franz (9/5): -
- Alex (10/5): - Everything is good!
- Victoria (10/5): -
- Susan (7/5): Stay was ok. Would of been amazing if things worked in the room and handicap acxess to the rooftop was offered - Location to the monuments Could not access the rooftop lounge. It is NOT handicap accessible. That was one of the main reasons we booked here but could not enjoy the view. My father was very upset about not being able to go up there. Everything should be handicap accessible. The bathroom lights and some outlets didn't work and notified the front desk and nothing was done about it
- Edgerton (7/5): Great location, but has made me hesitant to rent apartments in the future. - I liked the location and the layout of the property. Rooftop access was beautiful at night. Minor damage to walls. Both beds were extremely sunken on sides. I had to sleep one night on the couch because it was more comfortable than the bed.
- Castillo (7/5): -
- Westley (8/5): - Incredible location at good value. Room is a bit tired with the towel bar falling off and a bathroom light bulb blown.
- Tal (2/5): Disappointing and frustrating. - Although we booked the apartment for a party of 5 people, the property had given us only 3 blankets (not double). offering no solution for THE NEXT 24 HOURS (!!). I was with a child, she was cold and the customer service simply said "no one can assist you".
We tried again and again to call customer service from 5:30 PM and until 9 PM, and in the end had to PURCHASE 2 ADDITINAL BLANKETS (!!).
The location was good, the apartment itself was ok, but the overall experience was very frustrating, and extremely disappointing. Customer service of the property was the worst I ever experienced through Booking, offering no help at all on various occasions (AC problems, a blanket for each member of our party, late checkout due to a delayed flight, etc.). A shame because the apartment itself is really ok.
- william (8/5): - Liked closeness to national mall
- Ashok (10/5): - Location
- isaac (10/5): -
- Will (6/5): - Great "Bones." Price was competitive with a hotel and much more room. Bed was comfortable. Location was great. Kitchen was great for 1-2 people. Apartment location and "bones" were great. But AC wasn't working well. It ran constantly, but didn't change the temperature. There were a lot of scratches & chipped paint and one worn chair. There was nothing that would make me not want to rent it again, but "Global Luxury, " was not aligning with the reality.
- Marvin (6/5): A lot of potential but no cleaning - The location right next to the white house is fanatstic. Great for touring and central, also did well for run routes right next to the white house. Very clean when I entered, it has high potential to be great. I think it's an Airbnb, not a booking property/hotel. When booking, it doesnt clearly state that it's an airbnb which is not cleaned the entire stay. There should be clear cleaning expectations and at least a free one every other day.
The room does not resemble the pictures and my bed frame was broken and creaking as I slept and moved on the bed. I has the potential to be a great property.
- Barua (9/5): - Good, clean One bedroom lock is not working.
- Amy (4/5): - The only real good thing is the location. Apartment was less than basic. The bathroom lights did not work in either bathroom. We called customer service and was told they would come the next day to fix. They never came. The master bed was broken at the foot so the bed was on a deep angle so we rolled towards the end. When we were driving we had to call and ask where to park. We were told the nearest parking garage was two miles away. When we arrived we saw there was a garage directly around the corner. We arrived to check in and there was no concierge at the desk. There was another couple waiting and they had been there fifteen minutes waiting. No sign stating return time. Finally arrived after another ten minutes later. Only two towels for four people. All over less than pleasing experience for price paid.
- waltina (4/5): - Convenience in downtown The minute you get out of the elevator to the hallway the garbage smell is horrible . The hallway carpet doesn’t seem to be cleaned daily . The WiFi was not working well , so didn’t get to use it my whole stay .
- Nicolas (9/5): visita a Washington con mis hijos - La ubicación y lo amplio del apartamento
- Callum (4/5): Ok - good location, everything else poor - The apartment was very clean and in a fantastic location – only a 3-minute walk from the White House. Having an in-unit washing machine was also a rare and useful perk.
However, there are several important things to be aware of. This is not a hotel, but a residential building. There is no reception or on-site customer service, so if you encounter issues, you’re on your own. On check-in, you are simply handed a key, and that’s it.
The biggest frustration was parking. The advert and email I received before arrival stated to “pull a ticket at the garage and pay the overnight rate ($28).” In reality, the garage is run by an attendant, it closes at 11pm, and you’re expected to check in with them first (which I was never told). I arrived at 10:55pm and was met with a very unhelpful and rude attendant who was upset I hadn’t checked in earlier. The whole process was unclear and stressful, and I ended up being charged $30 per night instead of the $28 advertised.
Finally, while the apartment was spotless, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, which made it hard to get a good night’s sleep.
Overall, while the location and cleanliness were excellent, the lack of transparency, poor parking experience, uncomfortable beds, and absence of customer service let this stay down.
- Ashley (4/5): - Would not stay here again. There was no where to unload are luggage. Had to park in a parking ramp across the street. It was close to the White House. The rooms where big and clean
- Muhammad (10/5): -
- David (8/5): Good Sized Clean Apartment in Great Location! - The location was fantastic! Within walking distance to all the attractions. Right across the street from the White House. Good size apartment with full kitchen. It was clean, but bring your own blankets, some pillows have feathers for those with allergies. The Concierge is not very helpful like the front desk attendant at a hotel.
- Douglas (8/5): - Perfect location to see the sights and visit the White house.
Only thing we didn't like was the beds, queen bed was extremely noisy and the pull-out mattress the springs are pushing through the mattress.
- Christine (8/5): Recommend; Would Return - The Global Luxury Suites at The White House‘s location was great, it is only a couple of blocks away from the White House which gives plenty of options for people to do things and eat at (the Cheesecake Factory is literally right next door). The rooftop views were awesome, parking was convenient as it was in the same building, and it is spacious.
The only down falls we had was some outlets were loose and not working, no USB chargers, a bedroom door could not be closed as there was a cord in the doorway that connected to the WiFi and cleanliness could of been a little bit better. These are easy fixes that I believe will be addressed.
- David (1/5): Horrific disaster - Appalling standard nothing like described, had to book and stay elsewhere waiting for a refund Not representative of the pictures, a disaster of a place beds not properly fitting or flat, dirty would not ever stay there
- Simone (1/5): Didn’t stay because it was not as advertised - The. Property was dirty and the bed was on a diagonal it wasn’t fit to stay in so we stayed elsewhere The bedrooms - the photos are exactly how we found it
- Travers (8/5): 5 night stay - Location...right beside white house. View, at night, is spectacular...rooftop dining is a major plus. Gym was small but had alot in it. Once in, no staff were seen but I didn't need them for anything. Kitchen was small but had all the facilities required and plenty of utensils were there for use too. A few things were damaged in the apartment where we stayed. TV in sitting room and 1 bedroom. Would have liked TV in sitting room and in each bedroom. However, TV in bedroom was unusable as it was paired to the roku service and in order to use it, I had to provide credit card info (which I didnt).
- Shaun (10/5): -
- Mark (8/5): - 48 hrs in DC. The Good. Great location. Six minute walk to White House. Amazing roof top accommodations! The Bad:
- Patrick (9/5): -
- Sujit (8/5): - Nice, clean and well spaced apartment. Could do with some basic kitchen and cleaning supplies. Also, would help if the condition of beds are mattresses are inspected prior to arrival of guests.
- Juan (10/5): - We had a great stay, the a/c wasn’t as cold as we expected but other than that we really loved the location and the property as a whole. The unit was very close to all the major attractions in downtown DC.
- Umit yucel (10/5): - It is all comfy, location was great Nothing really
- Martin (6/5): - The apartment was in a great location and very clean. However, the bed was horrible. It creaked every time you moved and our air conditioning went out and they had to bring us a fan
- Louise (9/5): A great location and comfortable place to explore central DC. - Clean. Comfortable and very spacious. Great location for exploring Capitol and the Smithsonian museums.
- Kory (10/5): - We stayed with 5 friends at this property and it was perfect for our stay. Fairly walkable/conveniently located to where we needed to go. Check in was easy, and the property was in great shape. I would recommend for groups of 4-5.
- Wendy Wilborn (10/5): - enjoyed the property but the parking was a bit much!
- JENNY (10/5): - This was our first time staying at this location, but it will not be our last. It was absolutely perfect in every way. It is safe and secured, with a locking door that you can only gain entry with a fob. There is always a friendly concierge at the desk. The lobby area was pristinely clean and quiet. Our apartment was clean and organized. Fully functional with all of the amenities of home. This is walkable distance from all of the monuments, The White House, and Arlington if you are sight seers like we are. The Cheesecake Factory is right next door! CVS is around the block. It really is a perfect location. I cannot attest to parking because we did not utilize that area. Easy pickup location for Uber as well.
- April (10/5): - A good experience overall
- Joni (10/5): - Great location!! Nice space for families. 2 bedroom and 2 bath with a kitchen and living area. Nice coffee shop attached to the lobby. Walkable to all of the must sees of dc. I would stay here again.
- Mark A. (8/5): - Location was outstanding. Accommodations were good. Trying to reach anyone by phone is very challenging.
- Tracey (6/5): - Bathrooms & kitchen cabinets needs redoing. Beds in both room squeaks like crazy. Had to lay still or your partner will wake up. Bedroom doors are hard to close tight & open, it needs fixing. Had to replace the bed sheets & clean the room before checking out. There's no housekeeping. We felt like we were at home cleaning. Parking over night is $30 a night. Room was Expensive.
- Vilmar (9/5): Superb - Location is great. None
- Mark (6/5): Pleasant trip marginally marred by unscrupulous cleaning staff or reps how couldn’t be bothered to make an issue of retu - Excellent location We forgot an item of clothing in the room after closing the door and could not wait for any representative as we had to leave for the airport. The item of clothing was never handed in by the cleaning staff.
- Thi (8/5): Very good -
- Daniela (10/5): Exceptional -
- CHRISTINA (6/5): - Phenomenal location. OK room. Common facilities are awesome. Amazing rooftop patio
Need to bring an extra blanket if you plan on using the pull out couch or extra fold away bed
Directly above the Cheesecake Factory
- Luis (8/5): - Location location location. Nice clean place, few concerns but nothing major.
- STEVEN (6/5): - I did not realize this was NOT a hotel, until I arrived. The apt was fine, but lacked items: no bathing soap, no detergent for laundry, no towels for hand-drying dishes, no extra trash bags, etc. There were sheets for sofa bed, but no top cover for warmth. Speaking of warmth, living room area AC failed to cool. Maintenance left a note while we were out, detailing a repair, but soon after, it failed again. I emailed, but no response.
The unit was perfectly located, and the front desk staffer was great. Overall, we made it work, but some guests may not be as patient.
- Evelyn (10/5): - Good sized rooms, clean, decent kitchen, nice rooftop and lounge area. Gym open 24 hours. Walkable to places.
- Billie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jennifer (6/5): Great location, fair price, comfortable, small tweaks to amenities and it would be amazing! - Great location!!!! Extremely responsive, needed blanket for sofa bed and responded by next day. Furniture had seen better days - sofa bed uncomfortable and no extra blankets provided, just sheets. Limited supplies for a longer stay, no auto-restocking or additional for a 6 day visit - example: single trashbag for 6 days, one small shampoo/conditioner.
- Aminu (9/5): Superb - A very Good location staff very friendly and Good value for money
- Archilkoka (9/5): Superb -
- Bruce (5/5): Very disappointing for the cost - Location is super.
Kitchen was sparse but has new appliances. Apartment was over sold.
Dishwasher does not work and toilet in master bedroom runs constantly. Feed valve has to be turned off and on when needed. Is an ongoing problem because the valve was turned off when we arrived
- Evan (10/5): Excellent Option - Outstanding option, especially for extended stays. Loved the experience. Incredible location, easy check in, private and quiet.
