• Ann-Marie (4/5): Very cold and disrespectful - Overall the place was nice, it was clean and not many people around. It was easy to get to and easy to find. I didn’t like how the person that checked my husband and I in didn’t even acknowledged me and only spoked to my husband. He didn’t even look at me or speak me to as I am a female and not a male. Then the room that we had didn’t have ANY hot water. So we couldn’t have a nice warm shower or bath to warm us up. The room was very cold when we walked in and the window was open during the winter.

• William (8/5): A nice place to stay - The location was great. The room itself was spacious, even with three queen beds. The room even had a full-sized refrigerator. The facility was quiet. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and helpful.

• Dan (8/5): - Reedsport is a small fishing town that supports Winchester Bay recreational area. It is small & older but still has charm. Knowing that, our expectations were not high. We just needed a place to stay for two nights so we could visit friends that were staying in an RV resort on Winchester Bay. We chose Economy Inn as it was the closest and most reasonably priced stay close to Winchester Bay. The Inn is old but clean and parking is in front of your room. It’s 2 stories but we didn’t have any neighbors so we didn’t hear anyone. The flooring was vinyl so no creepy carpeting. It had a coffee maker, refrigerator and small microwave. In the bathroom, there were enough towels for a 2 night stay, blow dryer and liquid body soap provided. Although we prefer ground level in order to avoid stairs, we requested a king bed and they are only upstairs and we could not change rooms. All the units downstairs are 2 double or queen beds. If I have any negatives it would be the road noise from the highway in front of the hotel. But the price was right, a Safeway grocery store & a gas station are all sharing the same parking lot which made those amenities convenient.

• Karen (6/5): - The motel was a little run down. The windows in the front and in the bathroom did not close tight. The motel is on the main road and the noise from the cars and trucks could be heard all night. The bed was a little on the hard side. It seemed a little expensive for what you got.

The noise from the service station was a little loud. The outlets near the bed wouldn't hold the phone charger. They had to be charged in the bathroom.

• Kathleen (4/5): QUAINT, But forgotten! - The area was quaint and the outside very appealing! Inside the rooms had too much caulking around the entire base of the place because upgrades done poorly and only upgraded floors. Smelled slight mildew and the areas were tight in the room!

• Emily (8/5): - Traveling up the OR coast and stayed in Reedsport so we could hike the dunes. Check in was fast and easy. Room was adequate and clean. Nothing too fancy. Bed needs to be replaced-springy and loud. Other than that, it was great!

One issue was the bathroom was very narrow, but I know that couldn't be helped. Only other issues was the main overhead light flickered quite a bit, but we just used the bedside lamps instead. Overall, a great experinece (for the little time we were in the room) and we would definitely stay there again if we're ever in Reedsport.

You dont usually have to look to see if they have AC. Never seen motel that didnt. They are to cheap to put it in.very sorry i booked with you. We left 10 minutes after we got in there. Went and git another hotel. Knew I woudnt get my money back but we needed somewhere to be able to sleep.

• Priscilla (10/5): - I believe this is a family run establishment. The check in was smooth, the gentleman very helpful. Yes, it is an older motel, but our room was clean, bed comfortable. You can tell some updates have been done, which is great. TV channel selection pretty good! The desk recommended the Harbor Light restaurant and we were not disappointed. Basic, good food. The next morning as we were leaving, the staff were cheerful and friendly wishing us a good morning. Their kindness made me feel good as I hit the road. If I am ever in Reedsport again, this is where I will stay. Thank you to the folks at Economy inn in Reedsport Oregon.

Trim throughout the room peeling, broken, etc. Room wall heater looked as if it had not been cleaned in a very long time. Not at all the condition the website pictures, reviews, and ratings listed. Would not stay there again.
• Teamdement#1 (2/5): The guy at the register was very nice. - I was close to Winchester The room was very small, the bathroom toilet was very close to the floor (kids toilet) and when you sit down your legs hit the bathtub and the door (claustrophobic bathroom). The room looked clean, but had a smell like a box you pulled out of your storage that needed washed (musty). We will not be going back to this hotel.

He gave us awesome recommendations around the city. for us to do. Other businesses closed earlier than we thought, so just plan ahead if you want to go out later.

• Larraine (8/5): - The staff are extremely friendly and seem genuinely interested in making your stay comfortable and welcoming. Folks should understand this is a you get what you pay for type of place. It’s the basics only, dated room, no ac, and very noisy at night being next to the highway, bring ear plugs. On the positive side the beds were comfortable, cable tv worked, shower had hot water, toilet flushed . Perfect for a quick overnight stay before heading on to Crater Lake of which the motel is located right next to route 38. Check in, sleep, shower, checkout. Efficient and budget friendly.

• Ellis (9/5): Superb - The manager/owner.. was super sweet. He's always been so kind . I've stayed here three times now and never been disappointed. Not anything against the motel itself. There were some pretty rude neighbors that sat out in thier car with the bumping stereo till almost midnight. Then another truck came in and just revved his motor for a bit.

• David (10/5): - Clean, older well-maintained motel with reasonable rates for the Oregon coast. Friendly helpful staff. This was second yearly visit I stayed at Economy Inn in Reedsport and I plan on coming back next year. Reedsport is midway between Florence and Coos Bay and also has nearby beaches and lakes, so it's a good jumping off point for seeing the central Oregon coast.

• Sarah (8/5): - The room was very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was great for multiple travellers. The bathroom could use an update as the shower head was extremely low. The windows did not have blackout curtains, so the bright lights of the buildings behind shone in all night. The unit does not have AC, and the only opening windows was the bathroom which offered little opportunity for cooling. The room did come with a fan which was helpful, but loud. We were happy to see a full sized fridge. The beds were comfortable, but not secured to the wall and moved throughout the night.
• William (4/5): How this motel got a five star rating is beyond me - I’m 6 foot tall. The showerhead heights is 5 foot taking a shower is a nightmare. The bathroom toilets are so low to the ground. They’re like therefore an elementary school when I walked on the carpet with my bare feet my feet became black from dirt. I also was told there was only one room he had downstairs Available yet 60% of the downstairs had no one in it the price I paid at least I should’ve gotten it be able to take a shower without having to get on my knees to wash my hair Manchester For some reason, this was rated as a five star hotel I don’t see how that’s possible who is doing your ratings
