Laura (1/5): Unacceptable experience—this property should not carry the Hilton name. - The location was decent, but unfortunately that’s where the positives ended. After a long day of travel, we arrived to discover the elevator was out of service. We were forced to carry heavy luggage up four flights of narrow, carpeted stairs in an old historic building—completely unsafe and unreasonable. Upon finally reaching the room, we found the shower head broken, spraying water in every direction and making it impossible to shower properly. This level of neglect is absolutely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone a Hilton. It was, without question, the worst property I’ve ever stayed at.

Eric (8/5): After the change in rooms we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if we stayed in the second room. - Good location. On site restaurant with good food. The first room we were checked in to was the worst hotel room I had ever seen. It was tiny, lighting was terrible. When I went to the front desk and asked if I could upgrade the lady upgraded me at no cost. The new room was very nice and we had a good night.

Lee (5/5): Nice views, good location, hotel needs work - Hotel itself is well located. A lot within walking distance. However, certain rooms on the 5th floor are not accessible by elevator. The elevator to Dallas rooms has been down for several years. Did receive an email concerning it but only a few hours before arrival. At the time we were in transit and didn't see it. Hotel comped $12 a day parking for the inconvenience. Oddly enough in the room itself there were ups and downs. And up is heated floors in the bathroom, lovely views, and blackout curtains. The downs were no lamp on one side of the bed. No lamp in the salon portion of the one bedroom suite. Finally, no toilet paper on the roll, and a hypodermic needle in a case behind the nightstand. Well the hotel staff was accommodating and cooperative ( got us a lamp for the other table ) Housekeeping's poor performance. No toilet paper in the bathroom, hypodermic needle behind the end table.

It was dark & we'd driven 6 hrs & were tired & not wanting.to drive any further in the dark in a remote area. They handled it very well, they offered us a room without water but gave us a vacated clean room to shower in the following morning. They reduced the cost by $110 & gave us free breakfast, parking & snacks. We appreciated that the staff member found a solution that supported us not having to drive further at night on remote roads. Lift broken to 5th floor (apparently has been broken for a few years) but other than having to get lift to 4th floor and use stairs for last level, this is a perfect place to stay in Montpellier.

I felt the room charge was unfair being it was available for $250 when I looked on line that day, but was charged what I book it at? I don't travel, so am not familiar with all the different options in reserving a room. There wasn't any HOT water for two nights and although they gave me Hilton points, I'm broke from paying so much for this room, and couldn't even get a hot shower.

Michael (4/5): Not happy with condition of room at all … - Close to all places. Room was 1/2 ready no soap/ shampoo in shower… asked for room to be cleaned came back room was not cleaned towels not replaced Cost of room does not reflect quality you should receive

Roderic (7/5): See previous comments - Location Parking available Elevator is less than poor for a property with so many rooms. Not much bigger than a phone both. Lights in room looked like never dusted for months-heavy layer of dust on horizontal parts of fittings. Hallway carpet style makes it very difficult to push wheeled type luggage. Should be flat plush carpet. Breakfast service inadequate. No spoons to use with coffee/tea on table just knife and fork wrapped in napkin. Had to get up and ask server for one. While server did stop and ask how food was never came around to offer coffee top ups-better training needed. Highly overpriced for the product being offered. Would not stay again or recommend.
triciawI5060TB (6/5): Broken Elevator - In downtown. Elevator was broken. They said they emailed us, but we never got it. Had to walk up two flights of stairs. Bellman carried our suitcases up and down. Within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, and the capitol building.
Noreen (9/5): Superb - Valerie at the front desk was very nice I didn’t like that you had to pay for your parking. It should be included in your hotel price.

Priscilla (10/5): Best place to stay to feel like the Rich and Famous - I chose this hotel as I love the Hilton properties I was not disappointed in fact your hotel surpassed all of my other stays for the welcoming way I was treated beginning with the front desk! The bartender let us take our time even though you close at 9 so we were able to enjoy a meal and have a drink. The next morning we went down for breakfast everything was done perfectly. The waiter (I wish I had asked him for his name) He also was working the night before was wonderful great service and a warm wonderful personality Thank you for a great stay Nothing. Except I ended up paying twice for parking as the outside machine didn't accept the ticket. I will contact the hotel tomorrow as we just got home today and I truly don't expect it to be a problem Wonderful stay
Lacey (10/5): - Nice hotel with a great restaurant and very friendly staff. Walkable town with a close coffee shop and restaurants nearby. The beds were comfy and the room was clean. Nice hotel, will be back!
