Guest Reviews
- Gayle (8/5): - It was a good location, and the room was nice. The staff was also nice. That the pool was closed, that the room needed some updates along with the facilities of the hotel. The security of the building wasn't the greatest either since the side door lock didn't work so the door was propped open with a rock all night.

- Jennifer (1/5): Between the no hot water and the conflicting pet policies between Booking.com and the hotel, this was the worst hotel ex - The staff was pleasant. The location was good for my purpose. The room had no hot water. I had a cycling event and I woke at 3:45am to shower. I was at the event all day and did not return back until 9:30pm, still no hot water. I booked this room with two queen beds so my family could join me after I rode 100 miles for the American Lung Association. When I checked the policies, on Booking.com the day before my arrival, it said pets were not allowed. I then proceeded to tell my family they could not join me with our dog. When I checked in, I saw other guests with dogs, and confirmed on the hotel’s website pets were in fact allowed for a fee.
Canceling my family joining me meant I had no one at the finish line for me, I had to take a bus back to the hotel, and I didn't even have a hot shower.

- Brian (10/5): -
- Gregory (6/5): - Breakfast No elevator
- Thomas (7/5): - The staff and breakfast. Booked for the pool, was told after booking, day before stay the pool was closed.

- Julie (7/5): Comfy cozy - Staff was great! Bri at the front desk was super accommodating and had a smile on her face even when I had a problem! Great people here! Everything was pretty good. Queit and comfy! Sucked the pool was closed, one of the reasons we booked, but still an ok stay.
- Julie (5/5): Pleasant and less expensive than most. - The location is perfect. The grounds are pleasant. The disabled access was good. The tub was lovely. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool wasn't available. It was being maintained. The continental breakfast was gross. The beds were hard, they hurt my back.

- Janet (6/5): Adequate - Breakfast was lacking nutritious options - I got there late and there was one apple left. No other fruit choices Food. Bed could have been more comfortable. Air conditioner was incredibly loud
- Noa (8/5): Good value for money. I would stay there again! - A great place to spend the night if you're in the Portland area. Staff was super nice and accommodating, the room was clean without any weird odors, the mattress was comfortable (more towards the soft side, but not too soft for my bad back), the complimentary breakfast was pretty decent, and they even have an EV charger onsite with a really good price! On first morning there was a bit of noise at 9am from staff cleaning other rooms. On the second night there was a bit of noise that sounded like it was coming from the plumbing system
- Gregory (2/5): Hotel reeks of must and cigarettes. Do not stay here. - This hotel is definitely old. Unfortunately, because it is so old, it reeked of a musty smell. My family rented 3 rooms there and ALL three smelled like cigarettes. We will never stay here again.
- Robert (4/5): BestWesternOakMeadows - Clean linens every day Secure door was broken
Toilet seat was broken and Toilet was plugged and we had to plunge it. Breakfast was terrible! Staff was occasionally outside smoking. Mens room near pool was closed 3 days for painting.

- Michelle (7/5): Great place for my family to stay - Location was great
- Hiser (9/5): I booked threw Bookinh - Staff were great so helpful in every way!
Breakfast was great, good variety. Breakfast location was very far from room , wheelchair was difficult to travel on the hall carpet.
- Robin (5/5): The room had an unpleasant odor. Water was leaking from underneath the sink into my bag. - Location Signage is difficult to see from highway
- Curtis (7/5): Nicest in the ares - Rooms are large and clean. Breakfast is good I didn't like the late 4 pm check in time or the early 11 am check out. Hotel is nice but lacks a elevator

- Leldon (8/5): -
- Nancy (9/5): Fun trip and clean hotel. - It was nice clean room with lots of space The entrance off the road was the biggest down side. I arrived at night I could see the sign but missed the turn twice. Its tucked away so it's hard to find the exact turn at night.
- Cecarelli (8/5): -
- Darrell (8/5): - Staff was very nice. Property had a jacuzzi
- Jamie (10/5): A great place to stay! - The staff was exceptional! Rooms were comfortable. The pool was great! Rowdy kids in the pool unsupervised. The staff was good about kicking them out after people complained.
- Renata (6/5): The bed wasn't comfortable it was broken down and creaked every time you moved. - We didn't have breakfast too many people not enough space. The pool had hair in it, the spa was green and there was a discarded used band-aid next to the spa. The price was ridiculous for what you get.

- Edward (9/5): - Nice room, friendly staff, convenient location, and good parking. The breakfast.
- Mitzi (9/5): Comfortable, clean and quiet. - It was clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was good. It’s a bit on the high price end
- Tamera (9/5): -
- Melinda (10/5): -
- Kyrylo (9/5): -
- Germaine (7/5): Off the beaten path - The staff was so nice! Liked the breakfast and the dog friendly atmosphere. The location sucked. Beautiful but not where presented. They really need to do something to update their Google presence as it is not 11 minutes from the event center. It is an hour which makes a huge difference. When you have to be somewhere at 7:00 or 8:00 in the morning. It really put a damper in our stay. That really needs to be fixed. I have a feeling that they may do that to keep customers coming but it is false advertising.
Also, there was kind of a weird chemical smell that was not explained.
On a good note, the staff was amazing and friendly.
- Gerry (8/5): -
- Monia (8/5): -
- Robin (9/5): -
- Jeannie (10/5): Best stay ever!! - The manager went above and beyond to make sure our stay was good. The staff were amazing we are definitely going to stay here every time we come back to st. Helen's to visit my family.
- Candice (6/5): - Breakfast options. Pool. Free parking. House keeping half cleaned the room. Left dirty sheets in the room and didn’t vacuum. Appears it was likely a mistake but was strange coming back to a half dirty room.
- Ann (8/5): -
- Karianne (10/5): I actually loved this place so much. The breakfast area in the morning was like a tiny, well maintained restaurant and s - Close to halloweentown and many food places and stores.
- Glenn (5/5): Good Hotel with Poor Maintenance - Room was very clean, front desk staff efficient. Maintenance has really gone downhill, so much broken or malfunctioning.
- Northcraft (10/5): - Loved that you guys decorated for Halloween! Made it extra special! Staff was super friendly and helpful! Definitely would come back! No complaints
- Kassi (8/5): Overall our stay was very nice. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. - The poop and hot tub and breakfast Under the bed was dirty
- Sequoia (4/5): I wouldn’t go back. - The property looks nice from the outside but the inside is very dated. Does not look like the photos. The front desk woman was frantic from the moment we walked in. She was speaking very loudly about how people will be “pissed” because they over booked rooms. Waited 10 mins to be helped then she had us wait another 10 mins while she stepped away to dictate what the other girl was doing. Then she was almost on the verge of tears… and rude to the cleaner. Very unprofessional.
- Holton (3/5): - Wouldn't eat that. Good drive-hru's nearby Ice machine not working now for over a month
- Rachelle (9/5): - Everyone was very friendly! Breakfast was great! The pool was cold and the hot tub wasn’t the cleanest.
- Sandra (8/5): - Location was close to event attended. Was able to meet request for main level room. Was close to shops and restaurants. Coffee was not good.
- Leah (9/5): -
- Bradshaw (10/5): - Front desk staff really shine! They upgraded us on our honeymoon at no extra cost and they were extremely helpful! Loved our quiet little stay!
- Susan (8/5): -
- Allyson (10/5): -
- SAMUEL (8/5): - Room very nice. Pet area was clean. Staff was very pleasant. Bed could have been a bit more comfortable. Lots of pillows. Breakfast very limited in variety of available items and not very good. Best thing was cold cereal and juice. Unable to get toiletries to come out of dispensers attached to shower wall.
- Michael (9/5): Pleasant - Very nice, clean friendly staff, coffee & water available. Would stay here again
- Josh (10/5): - There are only 2 options for motels in St Helens Oregon. Oak Meadow Inn is THE best option! It is clean and well equipped; the breakfast has lots of great options. You will rest well at Oak Meadow Inn.
- Jeffery (10/5): Great stay - Convenient location, well decorated for Halloween and great stay overall. The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast offered a good variety. The pool area was clean, but had little seating/tables. We'd stay ahain if we are ever back in town.
- Freeman (10/5): The staff made us feel like family - The staff went far and beyond being help to us Nothing I can think of
- Pablo (2/5): - I chose this hotel to the proximity to a concert and the proximity was wrong, the service was terrible, the tube was crack, the yacuzzy was not broke and the pool was freezing. DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.
Staff was rude
- James (10/5): My favorite motel . - All ways treated first class . The people is the best thing about best Western oak Meadows.
- Laurel (6/5): - Food was terrible, their spa was green and not repaired, property feels outdated. My sister was there three years ago and spa wasn’t repaired back then. The only good thing about it was their beds and their cleanliness. It’s why my sister returned and asked us to stay there with her.
- stanley (8/5): - Friendly staff
- Juan González Sisternas (7/5): Correcto - La cama era como e incluía desayuno .todo estaba limpio Necesita una pequeña reforma
- bobby (8/5): - Friendly staff and quiet hotel. Good breakfast included in your daily rate. Kitchen dining room was spotless clean with good coffee and variety of choices.
Major disappointment was the internet service. I was unable to check out our home security system for the entire stay. We would stay again.
Expedia booking was seemless and easy.
- Susan (8/5): - Hot tub had great jets but the water was cold, not even warm. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Would like firmer pillows.
- Gene (10/5): - I have been very pleased with this facility. It is clean and very nice. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great.
- Kathy (8/5): -
- Terry (10/5): - The beds here were the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on at a hotel!
- Don (8/5): - Nice, modest hotel. Location was very convenient to what I was in town for.
- Steven (10/5): - Everything was wonderful. However the ice machine did not work, and according to the staff it has been going out for a while. But everything else was just perfect.
- Odom (1/5): Didnt, said I wasnt reserved. - Bad connections from bookings.com to them. Said I wasnt on the reserved list.
- Angie (10/5): -
- Kari (8/5): - Na
- Jose (9/5): -
- John (7/5): -
- Amy (10/5): - Nice, spacious room. Very comfortable and great amenities!
- Michael (10/5): - My second time here, and both stays were excellent. Nice large room, very clean, comfortable bedding and linens. And very quiet. I slept very well. 5 stars!
- Tami (8/5): - Only thing is a dog smell in rooms.
Allowing dogs in rooms is a mistake I believe
Smell was awful.
Everything else was excellent
- Kenneth (6/5): - We extended our stay by one night. We asked twice for fresh towels and ended up going to the desk to get them myself after waiting about 5 hours.
- James (4/5): only choice in the area so fine. - Didn't try breakfast Drunks at check in. Somewhat hard to find.
- Todd (5/5): No, unless you have to. - Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Room was big. Water pressure was good. Very pricey for a dark old motel. AC unit ran all night and was very loud. Tub wouldn't drain during my shower. Breakfast was mediocre at best. May be the best option in St Helens but definitely not on my "go back here" list.
- Candace (10/5): - Excellent Customer Service
- Connie (10/5): - Clean with comfortable beds!
- Renata (9/5): -
- Lenore (8/5): - The first room I was given was not made up. I was politely given another room, which, although it was made up had the door open. The breakfast was less than mediocre.
- Dorothy (10/5): - Breakfast was great! Staff was wonderful and answered every request we had cheerfully and quickly. An elevator
- Curtis (7/5): Nice and best available in the area - Staff was nice breakfast was good and the rooms were big and clean No elevator, rooms have poor lighting, no overhead lights, only lamps, and no bathtub
- Dennis (3/5): If you are going to rent a room that allowed animals you need to let customers know and keep it a l - Location was good and the breakfast was also good . The room was not that fresh or clean . It smelled really bad of animal and the couch was filthy .
- Rodney (6/5): - Staff failed to respond to specific requests for equipment that was not working. (Tub that wouldn’t drain, smoke alarm which beeped in the middle of the night because it needed a new battery). I finally replaced it myself .
- Robert (6/5): - Room card lock on ice machine is a new low in security for a device that doesn’t make ice when it’s 97 degrees outside.
