Guest Reviews
- Orr (8/5): I enjoyed being there just not a lot of stuff to do around town - Nice rooms there was a problem with the tv and he moved us into another room and he was nice about it apologizing for the inconvenience
- Alfredia (6/5): Overall my stay was fair. - It needs a makeover to include more variety otherwise scrimpy. It was nice having the refrigerator and microwave if you are able to shop at the grocery store. Need more healthy choices for breakfast. The TV never worked. There was no hair dryer if you wanted to wash your hair.
- Frank (5/5): It was just OK, nothing to brag about - Location Had to ring bell for staff frequently.
- Karen (5/5): - It was right off the highway with a large parking lot which was brightly lit. Parking right in front of your door just like the old days. It was a quiet area even though the road was nearby. Fridge was cold. The room was dated, the bed lumpy. The door lacked about half an inch meeting the door jamb. There were no curtains, only blinds which do not always provide complete privacy. The carpet smelled "unusual", a smell I couldn't place. I was disappointed with the room for the price and probably wouldn't stay there again. I thought it would be ideal for men who are on a hunting or fishing trip.
- Kenneth (10/5): -
- Jody (4/5): Not good - Room smelt and had to fight with tiny flies all night.
- James (9/5): - It was a very good and clean place Bed was too high
- Ivon (10/5): -
- Donald (10/5): Served it’s purpose - Room was very very clean & spacious. Room I reserved (room 111) had a spa/hottub which worked & was a welcome treat after a 300+ mile day on a motorcycle. If ever through there again I’ll definitely stay there.
- Derek (6/5): - Cheap and good enough. Thin walls.
- Quentin (8/5): -
- Misty (5/5): Add black out curtains to the windows - The room was cozy The bright lights outside that kept me up all night and not good breakfast
- Steven (6/5): - location The breakfast was sugar sugar sugar and they only made one pot of coffee

- Jackie (10/5): - Breakfast was a convenient amenity. Shower had plenty of hot water. It was a comfortable stay.
- Amy (10/5): -
- john (7/5): -
- Mariah (8/5): - The room was clean and the man that checked me in was very nice. There were a few things that were worn/tattered but otherwise was good. No pets and didn’t have breakfast there but I was kindly informed about both. Would stay here again, as it was affordable and not dirty.
- Mike (10/5): - Liked how it was up on a hill, l didn't get any traffic noise. Tv didn't wanna work at first, so l had the manager come, & it only took a flick of a button on the TV. Excellent staff. Will be going back there on my next trip
- Robert (10/5): Relaxation after a long day on the water. - We rented the room with the jet tub. After a long day on the water, it was amazing! It was on the bottom floor, easy access to our room. They had chairs sitting outside each room, which honestly is very thoughtful. This was one of the things I liked the most about it. You had a place to sit while enjoying the cool weather. The other guest was quite. We were completely unbothered. n/a

- ShewBox (9/5): -
- Abigail (7/5): Will stay again - Location was great. Kids loved the waffle maker. Felt safe. Dog friendly. Large fridge. The bathroom needed a little work. The tub faucet dripped, the toilet wobbled every time you sat down/stood up.
- Ann (8/5): -
- David C (8/5): Waynesboro stay - Would appreciate more options for breakfast as well as restocking of breakfast for those who ate latter in the morning.
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional - Clean
- dennis (10/5): - quiet peaceful location
- George (7/5): Good - Everything was sweet better breakfast like cream chese bagel egg 🥚 bacon was the cold cereal was all sweet oatmeal to sweet donuts 🍩 was
- Jessica (6/5): Pleasant - I always enjoy staying at the hurricane inn when I come to visit my son. Staff is really nice. And the room is pretty much clean. This time what I did not like was the shower did not work and 211 jacuzzi works great loved it but the shower did not work at all. But other than that or stay was awesome thank you we'll be back again
- Charles (10/5): Exceptional - Great hot shower with plenty of hot water
Felt safe in the area.
- Michael (7/5): Overall a very nice place to stay. - Breakfast could be upgraded a bit, but was satisfactory for a one night stay. Location was great! The toilet was loose at the base and and wobbled a lot. Like riding a bucking horse at the rodeo my wife stated.
- Terri (10/5): - Nice staff
- Kelly (4/5): Disappointing - The staff was pretty nice. The room was OLD and MUSTY. The furniture was stained horribly. I had to put a towel over one of the chairs so I didn't see the abundance of mystery stains. The prices of the rooms dropped $30 per night each from what I paid. I mentioned this to the clerk/owner at check-in and was met by silence. You could also hear everything from the people on the second floor above our rooms. Definitely would not recommend if the price is over $85. The location was okay. About the only thing this place has going for it.
- Wendy (8/5): Very good -
- Martin (9/5): Superb -
- William (8/5): Very good -
- Matthew (2/5): Awful experience - Well my stay started out with awkward vibes and very indirect assistance upon check in. Couldnt understand what was being said because i was being talked to while the clerk was looking down and through glass. Upon getting to my room across the property i had people hovering around my room for no reason at all and looking in the window. Then i discovered the shower didnt work properly or the toilet. You would get a sewage smell coming from the jetted tub area. Also the constant earthquake feeling as people walked up and down the steps with no thought if anyone else
- William (10/5): - Nice place. The room was clean. The desk person , at check in, was nice.
- Kimberly (6/5): - Upon arrival and receiving our room we were sent to an unfinished room and had to go back to the desk for a different room. I started to grab a tissue and realized they were stuffed back into the box in a ball. No, thank you. Maybe they were fine but I’m not going to be the one to find out. The room otherwise was clean. The bed seemed to be comfortable enough and the staff was friendly and accommodating.
- Gene (6/5): So So… - It was clean… that's it. The TV didn't work... they had trouble running my credit card at check-in… and the breakfast was bread, waffle mix, or cereal. The property clearly needs updating. But it was very clean.
- Patricia J (6/5): - This room had a skeetchy feel to it. The toilet roll holder was completely rusty. The carpet and tub dodnt look great. The breakfast was low quality. I would not want to stay there again.
- Cook (4/5): Disappointing -
- Doug (8/5): Very good -
- Eileen (10/5): - Very clean room. Comfortable beds. Basic breakfast available in AM. Will stay again.
- Keri (9/5): Superb -
- Randy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jean (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lynda (9/5): Superb - Affordable and comfy One facecloth not as clean and new half/half needed for coffee
- JENNIFER (10/5): - Very friendly. Clean. I would recommend
- Robert (10/5): - Great place will be back
- Mike (4/5): - Broken TV, low water pressure, filter in AC was dusty & moldy. I took it out to avoid health issues
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional - Location The water wasn't hot enough
- Jeff (8/5): Very good -
- Rebeaud (6/5): Pleasant -
- Fonda (10/5): - Walls are paper thin, desperately needs blackout curtins. Paint around shoer pealing.
- Franklin (8/5): Very good - Could hear the tvs in the adjoining rooms
- Tommy (5/5): Passable - Best hotel in town, it's the only hotel in town.
- Charles (10/5): - It is on the main highway with an easy access. It’s very nice too! The staff was very helpful and accommodating!
- Rodger (5/5): Passable -
- Enochs (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (6/5): Pleasant -
- Dannie (9/5): Superb -
- William (7/5): Good -
- JOHN (10/5): - East access to the area. Polite and kind staff
- David (10/5): - Stay there alot clean friendly
- Joseph (8/5): Very good -
- Derick (7/5): Good -
- Tina (8/5): Great except people next door kept tv on full blast until 3:30 am and then it started again at 5:30 am -
- Daniel (10/5): - All in all our stay here was good. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a room with 2 queen beds and there were only 2 pillows on each bed. Though that was strange but it was fine. We didn't ask for more but I'm sure they would have given us more if we asked.
All in all a great stay and would stay there again if in Waynesboro.
Thank you,
- Jamie (8/5): Great!! - The beds are amazing here! If I come back through, I will certainly stay again.
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dale (7/5): Good -
- Jason (7/5): Good -
- Phillip (10/5): - Nice place
- Evonda (10/5): - Great time
- Verified traveler (2/5): Unsafe Hotel Policies/Procedures - While the hotel itself was clean and comfortable - after our experience there I cannot give it more than a single star. Honestly, I wish I could just skip the stars portion due to how horribly this stay went. I had 4 bus drivers stay here for one night. 4 charter buses parked in the lot adjacent to the hotel (after asking the front desk where they could park). The bus drivers had an assignment 30 45 minutes away at 8am the following morning, so we knew we'd be out of there by the time any businesses were starting up.
At 6am the FRONT DESK provided one of my FEMALE driver's ROOM NUMBER and location to an irrate MALE who demanded to know "who parked the buses there?" and demanded the buses be moved. This unknown man then went to my female driver's room and began BANGING on the door, shaking the door handle and screaming profanities. When the driver opened the door confused, the man stepped a foot INSIDE her room and she had to push him out with the door.
The man stayed in the parking lot screaming and yelling and as all 4 drivers came out he drove around screaming and cussing at them. A police officer (called by the man) then sat and watched my drivers load their things onto their coaches and then FOLLOWED THEM out of the county.
The last part is not the hotels fault - but NONE of this would have occurred if the hotel had not put my drivers' safety at risk by sharing their room number.
Such a scare world we live in, and this hotel is putting lives at risk.
- Ronald (8/5): Very good -
- Lucy Radoccia (6/5): - It's the only hotel/motel in the area. Nothing fancy older place but large room. Very well lit so we felt safe and parking is right by your door. Everything was fine as we were only sleeping there and spending our days with family locally. Only strange thing was that no one ever cleaned our room in the 3 days we were there. Someone would come by and drop of towels we assume while we were out. Bed never made up or any other cleaning. Dead fly on floor was there everyday.
- Emily (8/5): Very good - Location Breakfast
- James (4/5): - looked a lot better in the picture than in real
- Lena (5/5): Passable - The pillows were very nice. The jetted tube was clean. Was the only hotel close to my mother's funeral. The shower didn't work. It was just a trickle. Nobody was at the front desk most of the time. They have a cute picnic area that was filthy. The remote was barely working. It had 6 layers of tape to hol it together.
- Scott (10/5): - Everything seemed new and very nice. Thanks for a great stay!
- M3675BCcarls (2/5): No room - Did not stay there. Reservations were made 9 weeks ago. When I called check 2 days prior to my stay (they would not email confirmation) a man who barely spoke English told me I had no room. Horrible business people. Good luck, please check prior to going.
- Ernie (10/5): Exceptional - very clean and great hot tub it was all great
- Holly (9/5): Superb -
- Thomas (8/5): - The building does need some updating, but overall my stay was comfortable. My job required me to work in my room during the day and there was ongoing maintenance in the rooms on either side of me, so the noise was a minimal inconvenience. The staff was attentive and very polite. The breakfast was decent - the waffles were great but could use additional toppings like fruit.
- Crystal (6/5): - For the price you would have thought it was the hilton. 111.00 for old beds with no bed bugs covers. I was a little un easy but I didnt complain.
- Nancy (10/5): - Booked last minute and they were fast to accommodate my booking. Easy check in, rooms were very nice and updated, pricing was very affordable and checking out was fast and simple.
- Deborah (10/5): - Surprising nice property.
- Robert (10/5): - Nice, basic hotel that appears to cater to local work crews, but all were friendly and respectful. However the walls are thin and the people next door (not part of the work crew) were blasting their TV until 1:30 so did not get much rest.
- Diercks (9/5): Superb -
- Jennifer (9/5): Superb -
- Rodger (8/5): Very good -
- Bain (9/5): Superb -
- Marci (8/5): Very good - The jacuzzi was wonderful. Shower had little pressure after a few minutes of use.
- Crystal (10/5): - Clean room and super comfortable beds. The parking lot was super bright at night.
- Steven (7/5): Convenient - Easy to find! The door didn't deadbolt. Outside lights way too bright, rooms have blinds but have no curtains. LOUD!!!!!
