Le personnel est très sympa. Au restaurant, il faut payer son repas avant de le manger... Je n'avais encore jamais vu ça.

- KIM FUNG (8/5): - Up the hill. Fresh and cool air. Can see the mount Kinabalu.
It is a 2-storeyed with wooden floor foundation upstair. Can hear the moving steps sound of people from upstair especially at night. Will disturb our sleep at mid night.

- Salim (8/5): Very good - The environment is nice Beware when you use staps, it's slippery.
- Andrew (8/5): Charming resort hotel with awesome views of Kinabalu and close to town. - Lovely small independent resort that's been around since 1995, but has been beautifully and immaculately maintained. Alot of local wood is used everywhere, gardens with plantings
The location is on the edge of Kundasan with a great view of the mountain. There is a large viewdeck to watch the sunset behind the mountain and surrounding range, and see sunrise as light falls on the foothills.
Rooms are spacious with indoor seating area facing the mountain thru large windows. There's also a large balcony with seating to watch the view
The staff are very friendly. The food is ok but tourist grade - best advice is to stay w standard Malaysian dishes and avoid western dishes. There is a separate bar that they will open for you, since the restaurant is halal They will take a credit card for advance payment, even though the initial response after booking that is sent through Booking states only cash or bank transfer. Just reply with a request for the relevant form and it can easily be completed. Ironically, at the hotel a credit card can be used for everything.
Small comment....They are "thorough" in their check-in/out paperwork, which takes a little time.... Could think about modernizing and simplifying the process!
- Idayati (9/5): Superb -

- Parasuraman (10/5): Amazing stay & cozy environment - the location of the resort with view of mountain Kinabalu just from your balcony… cozy atmosphere with mind relaxing environment no air cond in the room but it’s justifiable as outside temperature is misty & cold due to the location
- Syafayanti (10/5): The best so farrr im lovin it 😘😘 - Its a good place to stayed with ur family..the cleaness superbb..staff are verry friendly...will repeat to stay here..tq kinabalu pine 💓
- Verified traveler (6/5): Jiran sebelah bilik sibuk memasak depan balkoni - Bilik sangat luas. Bilik air yang sangat bersih cuma tak puas mandi. Air shower kecil sgtttt. Parking tak Best sbb sangat terhad. Breakfast ok jg la. Blh diterima tekak. Cuma nak Komplen bilik sebelah nombor H4 boleh pula bawa peralatan memasak masak depan balkoni. Bawa dapur gas pula tu. Siap merayu muka tak tau malu dgn kami suruh diam2 buat2 tidak nampak. Ikutkan hati syaitan sy mau juga report tapi sy malas cari gaduh. Jadi sy report sini seja la. Hahaha. Harap pihak resort peka la dengan aktiviti your customer. Kalau terbakar macam mana?? Kabin kayu lagi. Duina. Terus percutian sy ni kali kurang menggembirakan. Sekian.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - View is spectacular
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The view and friendly staff
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Place was n
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The view of Mt Kinabalu was superb and gorgeous. The weather was chilly and refreshing. The resort atmosphere was conducive. Beds were comfortable and hot water shower was great. Location was close to the town centre and food as well as the Kundasang market.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - View and property
- Verified traveler (8/5): - sy suka view dia.tempat yg sgt sejuk..tempat yang sesuai untuk ketenangan
- Hizzam (8/5): - The telephone list (including the emergency phone list) need to be updated.
It is better to have a buffet breakfast with varieties of choices.
- Mahendran (2/5): Bad room condition - I like the hotel environment but the room conditions is very bad. The bathroom so smelly and we found millipede. I have informed your staff on this . The room we stay C2 the lights broke and was not replaced. Positive note your people was so friendly
- Wanz (8/5): - Nice facility with good view of the mountains.
- A. (8/5): - The wifi for my room was weak...other facilities were great!
- Zairul (10/5): - Recommended to stay at Kundasang.
Excellent and great view for Mount Kinabalu.
- BettyFahmi (10/5): - Please stay at building R,S,P building for a magnificent view of Mount Kinabalu Peak. Best time is around 5-7am after sunset.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - In the morning i could see a very beautiful Kinabalu mountain!! Love it so much.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Location is strategic, room with mountain view, cool weather.
- mohd sahran (10/5): excellent - excellent place...will come back for sure
- Verified traveler (4/5): Come for the view, not for the stay - Was woken up by chewing noise beside bed around 12.30 midnight. Upon inspection saw a small animal (possible rat) fleeing the scene. Had our room changed after a long negotiation at the reception counter. No one came to our room to inspect the situation or offer us help in moving to a new room, they just stood at the reception office and hurried us to return the old room keycard.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good place to relax after hiking in the national park and soak up the views.
Make sure to catch the sunrise
- Verified traveler (10/5): - excellent staff, very helpful and friendly.. they entertain my last minute request and give me freedom to choose, but i guess maybe because its not peak season so they still have room that not book. view spectacular, food also good. thumbs up!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Leaking water from ceiling. But they quick to give us their assistance. Overall, 8/10.
- Unkniwn (8/5): - The view is front of mount kinabalu.Huge room.
the wifi line is terrible and not variety of breakfast
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good location, nice front desk officer. Very fast response if need help. However, balcony area not clean but can accepted
- Verified traveler (6/5): Bad service - The view and resort was amazing unfortunately the transport service was very poor. During our first day I call and told them that we will arrive with bus at 7:30pm 30 passengers and we require transport to pick up 35 bags to our room.. Unfortunately they told us there was no driver available.. All of us carry the bag all the way to our room .. Pines send 2 person to help with the bag we decide to carry because it will take a longer time for the bag to arrive to our rooms.. We book 9 Deluxe room 4 month earlier which I expect Kinabalu Pines should be ever ready to cater us because it was not a last minute booking.
- Keat Juan (8/5): Nice resort surrounded with pine trees - Stayed here 7 years ago. Seems like they refurbished the resort since last time. Slightly improved but could be better especially on the interiors. Room and toilet was clean. Only complaint was not all windows can be opened to let outside cool air in. There was only one window that can be opened and unfortunately it is next to the bed. Not a good idea to open bedside window as it can get very noisy outside. Breakfast wasn’t perfect but it’s alright. Staffs were all friendly and welcoming. Overall I would still recommend to stay here, they have the best view of mount Kinabalu from this resort.
- Mohd Nasir (8/5): Nice and cozy - Nice location with beautiful view of the Mt. Kinabalu especially in the early morning. Employees are courteous and very helpful. Had a wonderful and memorable stay in Kundasang
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Basic room but i come here for the view... Nice view from the resort with delicious breakfast set
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The view and landscaping are really amazing with cool weather. However single bed is not comfortable. Should provide mini fridge.
- det (8/5): - there a sound walk because the wood floor.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice and beautiful place to stay with a great view of Gunung Kinabalu.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great place for vacation. - Nice place to stay. Very clear view of Mt Kinabalu to take picture. But the water pressure is too low and please improve.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Stunning view and nice location. Love it!!
- Siti Fairuz (10/5): Wonderful stay - 2nd time staying here. Clean, serene and superb scenery as always. Foods are also delicious.
- Siu Man (10/5): Nice Resort - Good location and nice view. Maybe can improve the landscape by planting more flowers. Besides that, connection of Wifi very weak at room.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice scenery, very peaceful
I'm enjoyed the foods .
Staff very good... happy with cleanliness
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice view of Mt Kinabalu from the balcony of my room
- Suzy (8/5): - Nice mountain view from room!! Strategic location, easy to find & near kundasang town. Will come again!!
- Azwan (4/5): - Very old looking room and furnitures. Terrible breakfast served. No buffet even for fruits. You can only order 1 ala carte breakfast and free flow coffee, tea or orange juice. Others you have to pay for it. Not worth the price paid for the room and the so called ‘including breakfast’.
- Dean (8/5): - Nice hotel. Beautiful view.. but poor wifi connection
- Verified traveler (8/5): - 1. The room was okay but SMALL.
2. WORST part: BREAKFAST portions are small (not enough to eat) ; Food/Meal is the main problem, tastes bad and no quality.
- Lormas (10/5): Close with shop - Staff friendly and view mount kinabalu..room clean
- Soo Chee (8/5): - All Rooms are wooden made, noise of footstep from higher floor can be very disturbance especially when sleeping. Is good to stay at highest floor or ready a pair of ear plugs if stay at lower floor.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Getaway - Incredibly fun and exciting
- JacJac (10/5): Comfy hotel with magnificent view. Easy access. - Short and brief but memorable. Would love to come back in future.
- Kak Z (10/5): Very nice place to stay and great mountain view - We have a great stay here, the ambience is excellent and the mountain view is stunning. Definitely will stay here next time and highly recommended to my friend. Value for money
- Cliff (6/5): Stay for the view, not for the room. - Overall, it wasn't that bad, it's just that the room need a bit of an upgrade as a whole to keep up with the time.
- Nur (6/5): It was pleasant stay - Nice place to stay with balkoni/porch. Food not nice but generous amount.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The resort has a nice view of mount kinabalu & lanscape. It nearby pekan kundasang. However the breakfast not fulfill our taste.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice hotel with nice view of the Kinabalu Mountain. Weather is chilly enough even though without air conditioning.
