Guest Reviews
- Guest (8/5): Comfortable stay for work conference with a nicce walk to downtown. - Location was perfect for our trip. Beds were comfortable and just right for our corgi to sleep under. Enjoyed the hot water (most places don't have water hot enough for me) The TV was complicated to use. Spent a lot of time figuring out how to change channels and some things never worked properly. Also having two remotes was confusing.
- Freddy (3/5): -
- Victoria (1/5): -
- Linda (1/5): Not very happy - Close to BYU Dingyroom. Sink wouldn't drain. Floors dirty. Walls dirty. Tv wouldn't work. No hair dryer.
- R (10/5): - It is a very laid back / peaceful place to stay a couple nights
- Stefanie (1/5): Awful - The owner was very kind about us getting there late at night. It was late at night and we were super tired. It was cold and the heater wouldn't even come on. They had to know and assigned us that room anyways. The sheets were dirty and stained and had holes in them.
- Arla (6/5): -
- Alona (9/5): -
- Lewis (4/5): -
- Lynn (1/5): terrible - absolutely awful hotel I left and did not stay and had to incur the cost of another hotel dirty, rundown, terrible neighborhood, TV only got a few stations.
- Sandra (5/5): - The beds and pillows were comfortable and slept well.
- Jacobson (1/5): We did not stay at this stinky hell hole because they could not get payment from Booking.com. - There was nothing to like at this place. It was extremely difficult to turn into the property. It appeared it was in the middle of a much needed remodel. It was difficult to get into the lobby. There was a small sign to ring a bell that was nowhere close to the sign. The place was stinky. The place was a dump. My wife described accurately as a stinky hell hole. They could not get the card from Booking.com to work. So then we had no place to stay unless we paid twice with our credit card. I tried repeatedly to contact booking.com to get this straightened out. Only received AI answer which were not helpful. I will never use Booking.com again.
- Carole (3/5): Promised clean bed!!! - Location Sheets were not clean
- Carlson (1/5): -
- kelly (1/5): Terrible - Bed was comfortable and shower water was hot. NO internet (in essence), loud construction right outside door until 8:20 pm, horribly ugly and outdated room.

- Kenneth (2/5): I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone ! - Nothing !! It looks like a motel that you would rent by the hour, if you get my meaning ! There was hair in the tub, I couldn’t get the tub to drain, there was no place to hang my clothes……the only good thing was the A/C….
- Shantel brown (9/5): - The staff was friendly, helpful and great to work with Na

- Donald (3/5): Owner wad nice - Wifi didn't reach the room Yuk
- Maia (1/5): We did not stay!!!! - I didn’t like anything! We didn’t end up staying here at all. The lady was very rude, worst customer service ever, wouldn’t refund our money back, the room had water everywhere in the bathroom no one knew why, the bed was hard as a rock I didn’t like anything! Nothing at all! It could’ve been better if the lady was nicer to me & my husband.
- Violeta (1/5): Terrible! - I don't like anything Dirty, sheets, floor, bathroom, no tissue, shower was no great
- Louise (5/5): Passable -
- Matthew (1/5): DONT RENT A ROOM!!!! - It was nothing like the picture and a lot of druggies in the parking lot Nothing and the staff was rude when I asked for a refund because the room smelled like crap and was drity
- Heidy (1/5): Bad - The ac on my kids room wasn’t working I went to the office to let them know and the problem was not resolved my kids couldn’t sleep all night because the room was too hot …I think it was ridiculous 😡
- Eleanor (6/5): Pleasant -
- Kim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vern (4/5): Disappointing -
- Amber (2/5): It was a roof over our head. - I was happy with how close it was to convention center. The price was budgetable and the staff was very polite. Washclothes were filthy, spiderwebs. Smoke detector was covered, holes in the wall. Door was very difficult to open, and beds were very hard.
- Tamara (6/5): A cozy place to stay and peaceful.. - The owner and his dog were really nice and hospitable and his wife with checking in. I've stayed here quite a bit. It's quiet and I like that the owner doesn't allow trespassing. The maid is such a sweetheart and didn't speak much English but we managed to talk quite a bit like teaching each other our native languages. She always had a smile and very warm approachable person. I even helped her clean my room a few times lol... In the beginning it was great. The only thing that was not good is the room right above me every single night very loud stepping on the floor. I was in room 113 the room right above me was 217 and that guest it felt like they purposely stomped around on the floor and walked back and forth from one end of the room to the other, turning the water on and off and being loud from like 0100 to like 0300 in the AM that guest kept me up most especially come back to room after work.
- Copper (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aaron (4/5): Disappointing - The king size bed. It was not clean and everything was very old and smelled weird.
- Nicholas (1/5): Very unhappy - Nothinf Pubic hair in the bathtub, dirt on the bathroom floor, the smell of cigarettes inside the room was nauseating
- Barbara (5/5): Passable -
- Manager (10/5): Exceptional - The manager BJ was extremely helpful
- Shayne (6/5): Good for the value - The woman who helped me up front was AMAZING! She is a foreign older woman but so sweet and so nice. The room had AC and overall in a good spot. Comfort was there on the bed. Tried to take a shower and it was only cold water. Also the air conditioner was weird where it would blow some air at a time and it was pretty chilly. The weird thing is the bathroom wasn’t great but there was a whole room behind a door for just a fridge
- Robyn (4/5): We made the best of it - Location to Temple No sheet on the bed, no wifi, no hooks to hang anything, shower curtain rod fell off, room half way renovated
- Kevin (7/5): It was good - Location was good Bathroom tub faucet needs to be repaired
- Rachel (1/5): Bad -
- Harrison (9/5): Comfy bed - Great location and comfortable bed Everything was good. We liked it all
- Dale (1/5): Never ever never stay at this dump. - Of all the places I've stayed this was the worst ever! Internet didn't work in the room, it was dirty, the toilet wouldn't flush, homeless people living there and hanging out, they were remodeling a room two doors down pounding until after 10:00. Everything, there was nothing and I mean nothing that was likable. If I hadn't prepaid I would have NEVER stayed there.
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chad (1/5): Wish I had never stopped there - I disliked everything. The room smelled. Cob webs all over. Wall paper torn partially off. Couldn't hardly sit on the toilet...very small space beside the tub . Everything could of been way better.
- Jon (3/5): It's only worth the money if you have no other options. - Location Cleaning
- Danna (1/5): HORRIBLE - Filthy tub ,shattered TV screen , filthy bathroom floor ,people next door awake all night fighting an slamming doors
- Logan (1/5): Never got to stay, said he couldn’t find my reservation even tho I had confirmation codes. - Nothing They never let me stay. Said that I didn’t have a reservation. Wouldn’t refund me my $86, and I want my money back. Had no clue what the hell was going on.
- Verified traveler (8/5): As expected... - You get what you expect, cheap but clean. Staff was very friendly.
- David (2/5): - The hotel didn't have any record of my reservation; the mattress was very hard; the blanket was very thin; the bathroom was not well cleaned.
- Verified traveler (2/5): This was the nastiest hotel I've ever stayed in. - Filthy, had to wipe the bathroom floor with Clorox. Disgusting... unknown stuff dripping on the wall. Everything you touched was black. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Old I can deal with. Filthy, dirty and disgusting absolutely not. If there were a rating lower than terrible, that's what it would be.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Tubs have no water - good location. advertise that all rooms have large tubs... but they do not have water hooked up to them.. did not offer to move me to a room w/ a working tub.
- Joyce (6/5): - Location and rate are great
appealing appearance
- Sandy (2/5): - Shady characters hanging around at all hours.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Our room was not available - A secondary room was offered - it was not clean and smelled. The refrigerator was so loud, no one could sleep there.
- Krista (4/5): - It was a last minute decision to take the trip so used hotel.com to find a place when we were about 4 hours away. We arrived a little after 1am and the reservation did not show up on record. I showed the confirmation email to the staff who honored the price. The room had concrete walls, horrible decor and hard beds but considering we were only there for sleep... It worked.
- Erika (2/5): Don't DO IT! - Bed bugs and blood stains. Enough said. When we tried to talk to the hotel they just argued.... Basically called us liars even with photos. I wouldn't pay $5 for this room. Homeless people and people that live at this hotel begging for cigarettes... CLEAN IT UP owners if you want to survive.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice motel close to everything in Provo. - Great experience, staff, able to extend stay with no problem.
- Ryan (8/5): Would book again, but place is below average - You get what you pay for. I knew coming in that this wasn't the nicest spot but booked it for the convenience of what I needed it for. Got exactly was I was expecting in the room, but with a very friendly staff. Would book again if I needed to be near that location for the same price.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Hotel unclean - Our bed sheets were stained and had hairs on them. Even though room said non-smoking, ours smelled like smoke. Location not good. Some more repairs in room needs to be done.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Need to put profits back into investment! - Shutters let in to much light to sleep. Lights not working. Temp control loud and inefficient. Beds were big and spacious. Location is fair to university. Diner in front is great.
- janiva (2/5): Don't do it! - Arrived at hotel to find people residing there as permanent residence. People lounging about outside. I Refuse to stay at hotel. Not a 2 star... Hotel located in "old" surrounding with security questionable for safety.
- jackie (6/5): Good enough - Infinately superior to Executive Inn and suites or Travelor's Inn. They put effort into it. Clean. Laminate floors, clean, installed over carpet. So dip in floor. Wish they had phone service. Some residents stay longer. Narrow but very Shawn Matulichclean shower. Near Provo temple and NuSkin world headquarters. Plan ahead because BYU home games cause hotels to fill up. Non-smoking.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I arrived to find they overbooked. They sent me to another hotel, which was also full. I returned, they gave me a room, which smelled unpleasant. There were small children running around upstairs until 12:30 am. I strongly recommend NOT staying at this hotel.
- Jennifer (2/5): Management - We booked this hotel for August 5, 2015. On that same day our travel was cut short due to a wildfire along I-84. The highway was shut down and everyone was turned around. There was no alternate route to Provo from Baker City, Oregon so I called the hotel and explained my situation. The person at the front desk was very rude, and refused to give me a refund because I didn't call early enough in the day. ( I called as soon as we were turned around, hoping to avoid this). She was very rude, hanging up on me when I questioned her reasoning for not refunding my money.
When I enlisted expedia's help. the desk clerk replied that since other travelers from Wyoming had checked in to the hotel, I must've been lying. I was traveling from Washington state, as the expedia employee explained.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. The management is unpleasant and unwilling to listen to anything said.
- Duane (2/5): Sleep in your car - Room needed to be upgraded 30 year old TV satellite only worked half the time wifi was almost non-existent could not adjust the water temp in shower really low water pressure beds were rock hard.
- Verified traveler (4/5): It was a nice stay except for a couple things. - Wood floor is nice. Its pretty quite and convenience location. Close to convention center. Staff is nice and friendly.
The room has a strong smell, not sure what it's. Maybe from the wood floor/painting or someone smoked.
Its old model, the setting off the room is different. Small room.
Overall, thats what the price for. Its a nice choice for saving but not sure if would come back.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Clean and comfortable for the price - The hotel is older, but all the surfaces in the room have been redone except the shower surround. The floor was laminate wood, easy to clean, new bathroom fixtures and nice wall texture and colors. The King size bed was very comfortable. My concern ahead of time was safety, but once there I felt safe, even though the doors are on the outside of the building. One feature you don't see in newer hotel rooms was a DVD player. We could bring our own entertainment. One thing that needed replaced was the bedspread. It was very old, but since I could see all the care going into the remodel, I expect they will get to this oversight soon as well. I will stay there again sometime as it was a good stay for the price.
