Joyce (8/5): Overall, a beautiful and enjoyable stay with great service and oceanfront views. - Location was excellent, just 5 minutes away from airport with shuttle service. The facilities were modern, and both food and drinks were very good - food portions are generous. The pool/cabana and bar service was great - special thanks to Miriam and Omar, who were very friendly and attentive throughout our short stay. The pool area itself is beautiful, especially with the oceanfront setting that gives spectacular views. The hot tub is also a great feature that added to the overall experience. Our rooms did not include bathrobes or slippers, amenities that are commonly provided at many medium to large hotels today. We had booked two ocean-view rooms; however, the ocean view was only partial and visible mainly from the side, which was somewhat disappointing. Prior to our stay, I informed the hotel that we were celebrating my partner’s birthday and asked whether the hotel offered any complimentary special touches to help make the occasion more memorable. The response I received was an email outlining only paid package options. This was disappointing, particularly as other hotels we stayed at during our trip provided thoughtful complimentary gestures such as a bottle of sparkling wine, balloon decorations, and handwritten birthday note.

The pool area is especially amazing, with gorgeous views and such a relaxing atmosphere. A special thank you to Nyell at check-in, who truly made our stay extra special with such a warm and welcoming attitude. Luke from driving services was also incredibly kind and professional. Everyone we encountered was friendly, attentive, and amazing. We loved everything about our stay and certainly will be back! Highly recommend this beautiful resort to anyone visiting St. Maarten. ettao515 (6/5): Girls from the state - The location of the hotel is excellent. The front door service was excellent. Then things began to take a turn. The front desk was unfriendly and unhelpful all five days we were here. The concierge service was little to none with no real information to help with things to do while here. The taxi service all around the island was amazing and that’s where we found the most tips. The pool closes at 7 PM which several guests found to be a problem because in the evenings they wanted to just sit out and hang out. Entertainment was provided, but it was a low vibe instead of an island vibe as expected. No food service around the pool after 7 o’clock. We had problems with our housekeeping. Noise in the hallway, even though the signs said respect the quiet spaces we could hear people back-and-forth all night. Security yelled for us to get out of the hot tub one night because we were five minutes over. No one on the premises had change for $50 not the front desk or the concierge’s desk. No information was given about the hotel amenities. They had an observation deck that we didn’t discover until one of the guests told us and it was very nice. A workout room that no one showed us and a business center that we weren’t informed of was also located there. And the spa was another bad review. We booked a late afternoon spa service from 5 to 6 because the spa closed at seven. And when we finished our service at six, they also said good night locked everything up and left. So we couldn’t enjoy the sauna for that last hour or have a nice cup of hot tea. We felt rushed and they told us we couldn’t even take a cup of tea to our room. Very disappointing after the price we paid for the hour massages. I must say that the food, the food service staff, and the choice selection on the menu were excellent. They probably were what added an extra flare of our stay to make it better than what we had experienced.

Katherine (8/5): Lovely resort with a beautiful pool, fabulous location but loud music by the pool spoiled our stay. - Let's start by saying the resort is lovely - one of the best Pools I've stayed at. I love to watch planes so we loved the location near the airport (& the noise of planes doesn't affect your stay). The rooms are lovely and the hotel is in an ideal spot for Bars and Restaurants - all just a short walk away. Staff were very friendly and helpful and rooms clean and comfortable. Can't say enough how great the pool area looks. I felt this hotel is aimed at younger people - we're in our late 50s and the noise of the music that's blasted out by the pool spoiled our stay. I'm sure younger guests like this but we found a reason to go somewhere else when the music started which is a shame as it really is a lovely resort / pool area. The only other down side was it's hard to find shade when the sun is super hot.

Reception where I met the lovely Trinity (beautiful smile and very professional). While at reception I was offered either fruit punch or rum punch from Luke and Ravi (The Cool Guys) again I say very professional. At the spa Lucina (has the magic hands). I highly recommend requesting her. Now for the restaurant Shanice and Nateisha (amazing ladies) just to name a few. Hospitality top notch. Pool! Pool! Pool! Try it Overall experience was awesome

Conveniently located by the airport and Simpson Bay. It’s close to a lot of bars and restaurants. The staff was professional and accommodating. Especially Carlos and Nyell. They helped us coordinate transportation around the island .Will definitely come back .

The hotel itself is beautiful, clean modern and truly gives a luxury feel from the moment you walk in everything was well maintained, and you can tell they take great pride and creating a comfortable upscale environment for their guest. Would really make the experience stand out though was the staff Nick at the pool bar was fantastic creature in scrap personality and always make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Allia, the pool server was attentive, friendly, an incredibly efficient making poolside service, feel effortless and enjoyable every time. She has such a beautiful smile and was very polite. She made us feel like family. Carlos, the bell hop was welcoming professional from the start making arrivals and departures stress free. He took care of us so make sure you take care of him if u ever book to stay at the Morgan. Nyell and Trinity greeted us at the front desk and was just as wonderful, polite, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. The front desk seemed really set the tone for excellent service throughout our stay. Overall, the combination of a stunning, clean luxury property and genuinely outstanding staff made this an unforgettable experience. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for both comfort and top-tier service.

Mark (6/5): Location and amenities are nice, rooms and bedding need work. Debatable if it was worth the cost. - The location was awesome for plane spotting very close to Maho Beach, and the rooftop observation deck was awesome. Great location for walking to restaurants and the Maho Market for snacks etc. Pool was very nice and water slide for the kids was a hit. Servers at the pool were awesome and very attentive. Food was great, a little pricey but most of the time quality matched the price. Free valet parking for the rental car was a nice touch. Rooms were fine nothing special. We booked a penthouse suite and got stuck in a corner room which has only half a view for the same price which was kind of rip off in my opinion. Our check-in was supposed to be 4pm but we didn’t get into the room until almost 5 with no apologies or anything. Then we asked for a late check-out they basically laughed at us saying no. The suit living room could’ve had more amenities for a mini bar kitchenette type situation. Most annoying thing was the bathroom lights were on a motion sensor only. They gave you toiletries only on the first day and never refilled them unless asked and they were tiny. The worst part was the mattress was hard and the bedding and towels always had some stains on them and weren’t very well maintained and were also not that soft. Mattress was pretty firm with flimsy towels. They give you two free Voss waters when you get in the room which was nice…. Until they put three new ones in our room (that we didn’t ask for) and proceeded to charge us for them.

Guismo and friends Marinka (1/5): Séjour très décevant : nuisances, manque de propreté et prestations largement en dessous du prix payé. - NOTHING / RIEN Séjour très décevant, bien en dessous du standing attendu pour ce prix. Nous avons payé environ 400 $, et l’expérience n’a clairement pas été à la hauteur. La chambre qui nous a été attribuée donnait directement sur le système d’aération du restaurant situé en dessous. Des odeurs de cuisine remontaient en permanence dans la chambre, au point que nous avons dû bloquer la porte avec des serviettes pour limiter l’odeur. Lorsque nous avons contacté la réception, il nous a été répondu que cela était “normal” compte tenu de l’emplacement de la chambre, ce qui est inacceptable pour un établissement de ce niveau. L’emplacement de l’hôtel est également problématique. L’accès se fait par une zone très fréquentée, envahie de touristes venus observer les avions, ce qui engendre énormément de bruit et de circulation. Cela ne correspond pas du tout à l’expérience calme et qualitative attendue. Le confort et la propreté sont également très en dessous des standards attendus. Les draps présentaient de nombreuses bouloches, ce qui est particulièrement désagréable au contact et indigne d’un établissement à ce tarif. De plus, des traces visibles de moisissure étaient présentes dans les joints de la salle de bain, ce qui renforce une impression générale de manque d’entretien. Plusieurs autres points négatifs : Absence de machine à café dans la chambre Piscine froide et très exposée au vent Personnel peu accueillant (pas de réponse aux salutations) Aucune autonomie avec un véhicule, obligation de passer par le service voiturier Le point le plus problématique reste l’insonorisation. Notre chambre (430) était reliée à la chambre voisine (416) par une porte communicante, sans isolation suffisante. Nous avons subi des nuisances sonores importantes toute la nuit : musique forte, allées et venues, discussions bruyantes. Nous avons dû appeler la sécurité à cinq reprises, y compris en pleine nuit vers 4h du matin, sans que cela ne règle durablement la situation.

333ngocl (10/5): Relaxing Space - The hotel views are amazing, and the infinity pool gives a calming vibes. Their pool staff is great, willing to help even moving beach umbrellas around. The staff was helpful in getting taxis around the island. Also the hotel is in very walkable, with grocery stores, restaurants and even a casino within less than 8 minute walk.

Basicly you can take it or leave we keep you 800 dollars have a good day. Breakfast we were asked for our room number and placed at the back of the restaurant while front tables were free ..they refused to to move us. Next couple in were shown to a great table for 4... Our low end room didnt qualify. Oh the beach photes is the public beach next door, it is well known because when the planes take off theu blow everone into the water. This hotel is drectly at the end of the runway. I can not believe they are getting away with this.
laura_steve_11 (2/5): Horrible in every way - Staff are rude and arrogant. company policies sketchy (eg $200 credit card deposit for 'incidentals' which is actually not used for incidentals but refunded 5-7 days after you check out). swap out good oceanfront room that you pre-paid for and then insist they are full and take it or leave it! ordered white Russian drink at bar which came with lumps of bad cream -- no one noticed and had to take to bartender on own and no apology or complimentary replacement. witnessed men bullying a woman at the bar and management plus security did nothing to assist or eject man and friends, I could go on, but ... never go here and support this terrible place. Oh, and those lovely photos of the 'beach' are a lie too -- this is rocks,coral and fake sand-sided pool with not enough seats for guests

From the moment I arrived, the experience was exceptional. Devin, the gentleman who picked me up from the airport courtesy of the Morgan, radiated such genuine joy and warmth that it instantly set the tone for the entire trip. It felt like the vacation began the moment I got into the car. When I arrived at the hotel, Trinity at the front desk welcomed me with absolute charm. She was incredibly helpful, kind, and professional, making the check-in process smooth and pleasant. That level of hospitality truly stands out. The bar was another highlight. Daniel and Nick crafted some of the most fabulous drinks I’ve had in a long time. Their energy and skill made every visit to the bar feel like an experience, not just a quick stop for a cocktail. Evenings at the restaurant were made special thanks to the incredible service from Deonne and Anna. They were attentive, warm, and made every dinner feel memorable. The resort itself is beautiful. My room had an amazing view of the pool, and everything throughout the property was spotless and well maintained. The environment was relaxing, clean, and perfect for truly unwinding. Overall, my time at the Morgan Resort & Spa was nothing short of amazing. The staff made the experience unforgettable, and the property itself is stunning. I absolutely have to return.

Je n’ai pas aimé l’hôtesse à l’accueil, pour un hôtel avec tant d’étoiles j’étais choqué de mon accueil. Je suis repartit dans un autre hôtel. - l’hôtesse n’a voulu faire aucun effort sur le fait que je parlais français. - j’ai effectué une réservation sur booking, j’ai même reçu un mail pour me pré-enregistré, arrivé sur place, elle m’a fait savoir que ce n’était pas payé et qu’il fallait que je repaye. - elle m’a mis la carte de ma chambre, je me suis perdu dans l’hôtel car elle n’a même pas pris le temps de m’expliqué où était ma chambre. - je n’ai donc pas séjourner à l’hôtel, je suis arrivé dans la chambre et je suis reparti direct. - en espérant que je ne vais pas être débité deux fois alors que j’ai même pas pu profiter ni même y aller.
sheilab617 (10/5): Wonderful Stay!! - My husband and I spent 5 nights at The Morgan Resort from 2/28-3/5. We loved this resort. We were in an ocean view king suite. As mentioned by others this resort is not directly on a beach. We found the location very convenient and could walk to many restaurants, bars, shops etc in the Maho area. The pool area is beautiful! We were very happy with staff at hotel. A special shout out to Ravi! He is kind and professional and helped us with becoming familiar with resort & area highlights! He has a positive attitude & is always smiling! While we were there we did a charter boat to Anguilla, went to Mullet Bay one day and spent a Sunday at Grand Case on the French Side of the Island! We will definitely return!
