• Daniel (5/5): Unsatisfied - Breakfast was poor. Room given to me had a shower for disabled person and was inconvenient. Additionally, the entire bathroom floor basically flooded. The room was on the ground floor and it was way too loud at night when I tried to sleep.

• William (3/5): Unpleasant - Perfectly fine room and breakfast, but… The staff was a disaster. We had taken the time to provide all our check in information on line, including uploading a copy of my id. Yet when we arrived the clerk acted as if nothing at all had been uploaded, requesting my id and completely uninterested in hearing it was already submitted, that clearly it had been a waste of time for me to have done so, replying in a bored, bank teller voice that this was simply company policy. When he handed me a form to fill out with my information, and I repeated that it had been a complete waste if time to fill out the same info on line, he became annoyed, never acknowledging what I was saying, and then only after I said I would be complaining to his mgmt did he silently slip off to the back, re-emerging a minute or so later with his equally clueless mgr, who then decided to actually look on line for the submitted info. Not finding it, she shrugged and said most people don’t bother to submit it—I noted I can see why—that maybe there was a problem with the system and offered a bland unconvincing “sorry.” A few minutes later we were finally sitting in our room when another guest opened our door with the key the inept stuff had given him TO THE SAME ROOM. He was naturally quite embarrassed, had to return to the lobby for a new room and key and apparently demanded ( I later learned at breakfast) they apologize by phone to me and my wife. I subsequently recently a vacuous email apologizing in vague terms for “an incident” never specified—screwed up check in or giving our key to someone else or just being rude? and offering a late check out or some vague discount in the future. No thanks!

Lisa was the manager at the front desk, and she was able to give us two rooms side by side. The hotel room was very clean, and breakfast was included for the next morning!

• capon (4/5): - My family and I arrived at the hotel a little after midnight very tired from a long day and a long drive. We were woken up at 6am to the AC in the room making EXTREAMLY loud banging noises. My son woke up scared and crying from his sleep. We tried to turn it off but it would not stop even after being turned off. I called down to reception and the lady heard the noise over the phone she came up to try to turn it off but was unsuccessful so she said she’d try turning it off from the breaker. As she was waiting for the elevator to come up the AC stopped as it was making louder banging noises and shaking. She gave me the thumbs up and never followed up. We did not have AC in the room from 6 am until we left at 11 am and were never checked on after that.

The bed was comfy & the room size was great especially if you are there for an extended stay. I was only there one night and never felt rushed to checkout. I plan to save this place for my next beach visit. Thank you!
