- Joanne (10/5): We have stayed there before and enjoyed it - The breakfast choices were great, lots of choices to eat and drink. Staff were friendly and helpful
- Mario Folchi (10/5): - Superstaff and hotel

- Stacey (10/5): Perfect Spot for Overnight! - This was a perfect stay - we were in the area for a concert at Pine Knob. The location was great, the room was a fully equipped King suite, and check-in was seamless. There was no outrageous amount of money held on my debit card for incidentals, I want to say it was around 20 or 30 bucks and was credited to my account on the next business day.
- Amber (10/5): -
- Jon (10/5): - Great place
- Kimberly (10/5): 2 night stay - Location, cleanliness

- Lisa (10/5): - Check in and check out was simple. They were accommodating and professional. Would stay again for sure!
- Shey (10/5): - Almost everything was excellent. Only a few small things I would fix or change.
1) air conditioner rattled loudly
2) drain in tub drained too slowly while taking shower, So was standing in bath water while taking shower
3) pillows too super soft so no basically flattened
It was still a good stay and the staff was attentive and friendly.
I liked how they provided paper towels and

- biztravelerChicago (10/5): Spotless room, great staff - Whenever I make a hotel reservation, I request feather pillows and for the first time in at least 20 years, this hotel delivered feather pillows!! That alone rates a perfect score, but the room itself and the grounds were spotless. The staff members were universally friendly and pleasant. With family having recently relocated to this part of Michigan, it's great to know there's a hotel that'll be a go-to in the future.
- Anita (10/5): Exceptional -

- Calandra (10/5): - Best hotel ive ever been too
- 33nancyl (10/5): Stayed here because of for ratings. - Stayed here because of the ratings. This is not a Marriott brand I normally choose. The ratings true. Delightful stay. Wowed at check in with Dahn. and with all the surprise details. Funny how a sticker on paper towels can make you smile. Or the heart shaped towels. It is a very clean stay. Breakfast ok.
- TAMARA (10/5): - I love the staff and the area . Hotel is right across from the mall.
- Michael (9/5): Superb - Location was key for visit, met our needs

- Nicole (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and modern
- inspiredtofun (8/5): Wedding trip - We were greeted at the front desk by Alaska and Vivian. Alaska took great care of us while Vivian helped her out. Very helpful and friendly. Did not give the hotel 5 stars as our air conditioner was just ok and I do not like having to use my room key to turn on the lights.
- LoveCancuntoo (10/5): Excellent Choice for a stay! - I was placed at this hotel due to a flood in my home. As I was already stressed out about the situation and that I had to go to a hotel for several days, I was pleasantly surprised.
This hotel is super clean, not a speck of dirt anywhere! The breakfast is good, coffee even better and the staff is very friendly! I feel most welcome here! The hotel has surpassed my expectation!
There is an outlet mall right across the parking lot and plenty of restaurants in the area! I highly recommend this hotel!
- Pamela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great staff - The best part of the stay was the check in. Your afternoon staff on Friday, August 30, was top notch. Friendly, helpful, efficient.

- Amy (10/5): Great place to stay. - Great Experience. Clean Hotel. Nice staff and very helpful.
- Andrew (10/5): - Great stay with the family
My favourite thing is I didn’t have to get on my knees in the shower to was my hair. Lol.
This place was great, the rooms were large and clean, the kids loved the pool and breakfast was good in the morning.
The staff was very kind and friendly.
- Lora (10/5): - There were a pairr of sandhill cranes hanging out over the hill.
- Lisa (10/5): - The customer service was great. The room was perfect and the breakfast was very good. The kady working the breakfast area was on top of everything.
- Jennifer (10/5): - Our room was beautiful. Not large but just right for 2. Everything was clean and comfortable. Our housekeeping person even made wash cloth designs. A heart in the kitchen and a rose in the bathroom.
- Kimberly (10/5): - Very roomy room . Full kitchen too . Location perfect for shopping . Short ride to Pine Knob for concert !
- Doug (10/5): Exceptional - Our room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were friendly, and the location was convenient for our destination, the Pine Knob Music Theatre.
- Candice (10/5): Well maintained property - Large well equipped suite. Comfortable mattress. Pillows too soft/ loose feather filling. Every employee we encountered was pleasant & professional. Pool & surrounding area is small but clean & well maintained. Elevators fast to respond. Ample well lit parking. Small but satisfactory breakfast. Excellent location for I75 access, proximity to outlet mall, Pine Knob, and plenty of dining options.
- Adrian (8/5): - Location to events/ shopping/ restaurants. Perfect staycation spot.
- Korey (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (10/5): - Newer and clean!
- Laura (10/5): - It was well thought out for extended stay people
- Ryan (10/5): - Clean and staff was great.
- Verified traveler (10/5): concert hotel price increase - Check in was fast, service was great, beds were very comfortable. This is the first hotel Ive been where a key is needed for the power to work; like the concept but would have liked the air to stay at the temp set while gone.
- Thomas B. (10/5): - Wonderful suite, perfect for the four of us!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very clean. Very quiet.
- Samuel (10/5): Nice stay - We were going to a concert. The hotel was in the perfect location. A lot of restaurants close by, good breakfast.
- Rebekah (10/5): - We had so much space in the room, the pool was nice and clean, and the breakfast was very good and also very clean.
- Jesseca (10/5): - Only complaint was room needed a bigger garbage can! Other than that, it was great!
- Bo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Travis (10/5): - Easy walk to restaurants near by. Large shopping center nearby within walking distance as well.
- Gregory (8/5): - Clean and nice location. The furniture in rooms is quite tired. The table in my room was about to fall apart
- Callie (10/5): - Has one of the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept on!
- Gregory (8/5): - It was a clean and room. Very comfortable. Front desk lady was nice and helpful.
- Robert (8/5): - The room was quiet and comfortable. The bathroom however is quite small, with an annoying door that opens inwards. A pocket door would have been much better.
- Meghan (6/5): Okay stay, the best part was the location. - The good:
This hotel was located less than a mile from our family trip destination, so very convenient for us. The restaurants we tried around the area were all great. The stay at the hotel was ok. All of the staff we encountered were really nice and helpful. The pool was a comfortable temperature. Shower pressure in the room was good. Having the refrigerator and mini kitchen in the room was a nice plus and there was a large closet in the area that was convenient.
The bad:
The first night we used the pool and when we went back to our shoes/towels after about an hour of swimming we found ants all over our things. We also found some ants in our hotel room itself. The room appeared clean on first look, but there was dirt/debris and some garbage rubber bands/ponytail holders around the beds. The shower had good water pressure, but the shower did not drain well at all leaving you standing in an inch of water. The free breakfast was okay, but we were desperate for some kind of fruit to go with all of the grain/carbohydrates that were served.
The Ugly:
Our first night was less than desirable as we found our air conditioner/fan/heater in the room made some crazy noises and then someone had pulled the fire alarm, so we got very little sleep.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Definitely not a bad place to stay. Room was a little dirty but nothing we couldn’t handle.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Very First time not having a superb stay - I come here for a staycation quite often. This stay was the first time that I’ve ever been able to complain. The staff was super friendly like always but my room wasn’t as clean as I would have liked it. It was almost as if the room hadn’t been rented out in a while. There were spiders, dust, and the tub was poorly cleaned. Lastly the toilet constantly would run unless I wiggled the handle & after a while it just wouldn’t flush. Like I said above, this is the first time I have ever been able to complain.
- April (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sandra (10/5): - Liked e erything but breakfast area. .uch too small
- Brian (8/5): - Everything was just okay.
- Megan (8/5): - .
- Dwayne (10/5): We’d stay again. - There was a strong order of food on the 3rd floor hallway.
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tammara (10/5): Great getaway - The check in was friendly nice. Pool was warm and welcoming. Property was clean
- laujust2017 (10/5): Great stay with the kids - We had a great mini road trip stay at Towneplace. Its literally connected via parking lots to Great Lakes Crossing where we saved a lot of time and hassle communiting. We stayed in a 2 bed kitchenette room. Very convenient with breakfast everyday and free coffee/tea and juice all day long. Breakfast was good and kids loved the fresh fruits. The pool was heated and we swam every night. Hotel is cozy but never felt too big or too small. Relatively clean and staff were there when we needed. Got a good price by booking early. We used to stay by the University rd area just a highway exit away but will stay here again when we're back again.
- William (10/5): We Loved It - Everyone was very friendly and helpful... The room was wonderful, we didnt want to leave... The Employees at the front deck were super nice and the ladies that work at the breakfast area were super sweet also.. Everyone was just sooo nice.. Will definitely stay here again..
- Tricia (8/5): - Close to all amenities, easy travelling for out of towners
- Kim (10/5): - I took my daughters to Sea Life Aquarium and Legoland in the mall. This hotel was very convenient. The room was huge! A kitchen and a dining table. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly. A great, free breakfast. The pool was quiet and very warm which my kids loved. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.
- Tiara (2/5): Very poor -
- Derek (10/5): Exceptional -
- Becky (9/5): Superb -
- Kaitlyn (10/5): - Nice quiet hotel.
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janet (9/5): Spacious accomodations - Spacious rooms, clean, friendly staff The breakfast area in lobby did not have a good flow.
- Woojin (10/5): Wonderfull front desk - Wonderful front desk, Page is really nice, kind and friendly, it makes me feel good and smile.
The heater noise over the night was terrible, I was not able to sleep straightly. The noise made me to wake up
- Jozsef (6/5): Pleasant - Bed too soft
Kitchen too Poór
No cleaning within 4 weeks
- Woojin (10/5): Fantastic front desk - Front desk is fantastic, she(the young black woman) is smiling and kind, she makes me happy whenever I come during this trip.
However the room the heater noise is way loud that makes me awaken during the night several times.
Also, kitchen towel hoder makes the hotel's image down, I feel like that...
- gtbkd (10/5): Quick shopping trip - Great location lots of shopping and dinning in the area.
Speedy check in and large spacious room.
Decent breakfast included
Would stay again if in the area and visiting the Great Lakes crossing outlet mall.
Ample parking also on site , never any issues in finding a parking spot
- Jeffrey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Catherine (10/5): - Hassle free, clean and comfortable
- Michelle (10/5): FRIENDS GNO - It worked out great. We had plans in the area the next day and the hotel was close to our destination.
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional - The friendly staff and cleanliness of the rooms Nothing here not to like. Great place
- Walter (9/5): Stay was good - The breakfast was typical for included ones. The staff was helpful and on top of everything. More than I expected but perhaps a removable shower head
- Antonio (8/5): - Good stay
