• Robert (8/5): Pleasent facility, good price, excellent employees. Very convenient location. - Location was very good, central to businesses I needed to access for what I was in town for. Parking and local restaurants was very convenient. The room was comfortable and provided all I needed. The folks providing the residence were very pleasant and helpful. I have already booked for another week at the facility. Price was very good. Bathroom could have used a couple of more towel racks. Bathroom was usable but a little cramped for a fat old man like me, shower and toilet area. *LOL* I was here for a week; a TV tray would have been nice to have in the room to eat from since there was no desk in that room. None of these issues was a showstopper for me, I have since reserved another week at the facility.
• Robert (9/5): Recommended facility, I have stayed multiple times a week at a time. - I have stayed with them before, the location and local amenities are very good. I was using the Motel for a stay while working on a local property that will be my retirement home. The area is rich in activities and places to visit. The staff were very willing to work with me to ensure my satisfaction. Being a bit oversized the bathroom was a bit cramped but functional for someone of my size. This issue is more on myself than the Motel since they would have worked with me on it.

• Tim (8/5): - Budget Hotel, don’t expect too much. Room was ok, small bathroom was fine. A little stain on the carpet and arm of the chair. TV was ok, A/C worked, though had to figure it out. Temp was in C not F. It is right off the main road, so a fair bit of traffic noise. I had noise cancelling earbuds I wore overnight, which were great for not being bothered by the noise outside. The man who checked me in was professional, courteous and friendly. There was a kitty in the office, but she was very cautious and didn’t want to be touched by anyone. She was not threatening or anything, just clearly curious about what was going on.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Sure it looks old and run down and it is BUT has great a/c, clesn bathrooms with high water pressure and endless hot water, refrigerators that actually work. All for $200 a night less thsn those other big name hotels 6 blocks north. Plus the manager is a hoot!!
• Steinbrecher (2/5): Filthy. Avoid at all costs - The person who checked me in was extremely friendly. Absolutely filthy. Stained bedding, bugs in the room, cabinets missing a door. Clogged sink with hair visible clogging the sink. There was some kind of opaque stuff between the carpet and wall that could only speculate were some kind of fungus. This place is worse than a seedy motel you see the downtrodden protagonist stay in while battling alcoholism and a bad divorce.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Stay far, far away - Dark and dingy, not to mention the bedbugs (yuck). Towel racks fall to the floor with the weight of the bath towel, which is the size of a hand towel. Furnishings look like they haven’t been updated since hotel was new decades ago. I travelled around the world for a year with my two young kids, including many third-world countries, and never experienced lodging as disgusting as this motel. Hotels.com would do everyone a favor by delisting this property from their website. Only stayed here because all other lodging in town was sold-out.

Its dirty very cold very little heat smells and when asking for another room was told if i do like it i can leave without a refund. This was a mistake on my part and i am thinking i will no longer use you as a place to look for a hotel. Very disapointed in exspedia on this one as this place should be shut down befor its recamended to any other person. i should be totally refunded from you for my very little sleep and very cold stay. THANKS ALOT FOR NOTHING AND A BAD PLACE TO STAY ON YOUR SITE.

Once i got to my room it smelled as if a wet dog had been smoking cigarettes for month's. Completely gross. There was a dirty sock lying on the floor. Throughout the years while working construction i have had to stay in some not so great places. This place has taken the #1 spot in the worst place i have ever stayed.

• Buck (7/5): good value for the rate - DO NOT USE AGODA BOOKINGS THEY ARE SCAMMERS & THIEVES THE HOTEL Room clean, cozy, bed was super cozy The travel app i used, Agoda, wouldnt refund my $1200 from bookings made here in error and it screwed me as well as the hotel mgt up for a couple of days. Yhey still refuse to refund my money and charged the hotel $99 for the booking cancellation for the one i made through their site in error. So they got them for$99 and me for nearly $700. And i paid ge hotel directly for the 3 nights i stayed here, Agoda didn't pay them, they kept my mobey, charged tge hotel a punative fee, and has made zero effort to refund me. Im out of money now bc Agoda has taken all of if mine.

It’s an old building so understandable that it’s outdated It smelled so bad of cigarettes I got sick from it. The shampoo bottles were USED!

I didn't mind the "old"ness of the place, but things needed painting (sink, walls, woodwork) and the door jambs, casings, moldings, and light switch areas needed cleaning!!

They were exceptional, they went above and beyond constantly, and they were so kind! If I had to come back for work, it would be because of their kindness! My outlet was broken in the room, and they did not hesitate to fix it immediately! The room probably could have been cleaned a little better, but for what it was, it served its purpose! It was a little intimidating to travel alone as a woman, and that’s part. I hate the most! Has nothing to do with the motel.

A lady at a local restaurant told me not to leave anything in my boat as it probably will be gone in the morning.the desk clerk where we stayed confirmed that and said that hotel had a reputation.
• Maura (9/5): Superb - The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and charming. I found my room to be charming, too. The room was small and homey but perfectly adequate. Very retro, in good condition and wonderfully quiet. The bed was even an old poster bed, maybe original to the room and very comfortable. The tv had a full load of excellent channels to choose from and had Fox news and the Fox business channel. I have stayed at many hotels/motels over the years, most were much more expensive but none of those other motels ever drew me back, but the Itasca motel did.
• Steven (2/5): - Weeds in parking lot, first thought it's abandoned. Old everything, bathroom tiny, toilet like crapping in a coffee cup. Shower way small. Beds ok, sheets very loose fitting. tv poor reception. Will go somewhere else next time in Grand rapids mn. To bad there is potential. It would only take thousands of dollars and skilled labor to fix up.

• Brian (2/5): WOW - Run as fast as you can from this place-I have stayed in a lot of places in my 70 years nothing compares to this place as in scary -the first thing thing that greeted me was the fresh smell of bug killer that was to the point of rendering me sick-I immediately booked another room elsewhere and left
