Guest Reviews
- Stephanie (10/5): Earned its 5 stars! Absolutely beautiful hotel. - My new favorite hotel! Absolutely beautiful hotel and the most professional staff. Room service was incredible along with the spa and million other amenities. Cannot wait to go back. Wish I had more time here. Pool closes a little early.
- Johnson (10/5): Broadmoor is absolutely Exquisite - It's The Broadmoor! A place truly like no other. World class, The Pinnacle, Heaven on Earth. Genuinely can't think of 1 thing I didn't like.
- Caitlyn (10/5): -
- MICHAEL (7/5): -
- LMartellin0 (10/5): Great time! - I had an amazing time at the Broadmoor. From the spa to the tour and free events, we were so entertained. The Coincerge staff is super friendly and fun to chat with. All the restaurants were delicious, and the staff were more than happy to split a dish if you needed to share.
- optionsm2026 (10/5): Wonderful stay at the Broadmoor! - Just returned from a wonderful stay at the luxurious Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs. We arrived early but they were ready for us. Our first impression of the hotel was that we were somewhere special as they knew us by first name as we checked in. Our bellman Kyle took us to our luxurious suite and made sure we were happy with our accommodations. He answered all our questions and explained all our conveniences. The room was so nice and had everything we needed (even a TV in the bathroom!) Upon our checkout, we were sad to leave because it was so nice to stay in such a wonderful resort. The Western Art throughout the hotel was an added surprise as I'd never seen so many works of art from the Western Masters before in my life. Additionally, the Who's Who wall of fame of the unbelievable clientele who have stayed at the Broadmoor is astonishing from Presidents to top celebrities. We will definitely be back to visit the Broadmoor in the Spring for a round of golf, fly fishing, and hiking!
- Sandra (10/5): An amazing oasis of peace and comfort - the most impressively amazing level of customer seen in US - After enjoying my first stay at the Broadmoor, I can not imagine how it could have been any better, the staff, the cuisine, the facility, the atmosphere definitively exceeded every pre-visit expectation. I would like to specifically mention Ralph in reservations who worked with me to change and confirm my room reservation from one initially assigned in the Broadmoor West to one in the main building for which I am deeply appreciative. I look forward to my next stay at this amazing oasis. I am unable to think of a single negative that occurred during my stay - I found it perfect in every aspect, I only wished that my stay could have been longer.
- NicM7Usa (2/5): All the small things missed, check-in issues. Just a bad time all around. I did not decompress at all. - I have to say, it’s been two years of problems. I come once a year and I’m just asking for a smooth experience, and I don’t think I’ll be back again. Last year, they didn’t have our room that we reserved. We ended up having a couch bed and one queen when we reserved two beds. They didn’t even bat an eye. No apologies, nothing. Just had us sleeping in a room we didn’t reserve.
This year, we had issues at check in again and when we get to our rooms, the beds aren’t made completely and we had to clean the tub because there was hair in it. Then we order room service. We said no nuts and they bring us chocolate with nuts in it as a part of our room service, even though I said we had a child with a nut allergy and we didn’t even order chocolate with nuts. It’s very frustrating.
Lastly, valet kept my car door open. I luckily had a view of the lot and I had to call them and ask them to close my door because it had been open for 10 minutes and they were draining the battery.
I appreciate Allen calling me and telling me everything’s gonna be okay, but this was an unpleasant weekend. I would have been better off staying home. I’d have $1,000 more in my pocket and I’d be less stressed than how I feel now. I’m going home more stressed and with less money.
This is supposed to be one of the best resorts in the world and it’s been a stressful experience since I stepped in the building. I had a very bad time.
- jfnrn (10/5): Good location, lots of activities, beautiful grounds. - We had heard a lot from friends about the Broadmoor experience and had to check it out for ourselves and were so glad we did! We booked a Superior room which looked out on the lake. Beautiful scenery and lots of geese, ducks and even a few swans on the lake. Unfortunately, our Nespresso coffee machine in the room was broken and we reported that to the front desk. The hotel is not a modern hotel and the decor is retro. Very clean and well maintained.
The staff is very customer focused which is a big plus. They go above and beyond to make sure everything is just right for the stay.
The restaurants offered a nice variety but are very overpriced. We went to the Golden Bee and Sadie was our waitress. She was great! Great service and we couldn't have asked for a better waitress.
Be advised that the hotel, rooms and restaurants are very nice but very overpriced.
- indiantrailswatch (8/5): Overall great, but beware thin walls - This is a tough one, since the good was very good and the bad was not so great. For all the good reviews that other people have given, yes, it is amazing. Something cool to see everywhere you look. My comments are going to be less than stellar, however keep in mind, most of it was good. The coffee in the room was not good. Be sure to read the directions if you just want hot water. It is possible. A couple doors were squeaky, which normally isn't a big deal, but when one person struggles with insomnia, being woke up in the middle of the night spells disaster for the insomniac. I asked them to oil it but they never did. Ironing board literally fell apart in my hands. They sent a new one which was much smaller and made it hard to iron my tall husband's clothes. Be aware - the walls are paper thin. There was a couple next to us that had a nasty fight. Cuss words were flying, hits were being made, and then, dead silence. We wondered - should we call the police? The front desk? Did somebody just get unalived? Unfortunately, I heard what I heard and I can't unhear it. Not the hotel's fault, but just to say, if you're gonna fight, don't do it in your room and ruin the experience for everyone else. And if you're making up, we can hear that, too. On a positive note, the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is a must. That was the highlight of my trip.
- 135melissan (10/5): Above and beyond service - Sarai Kendall provided above and beyond customer service. She and the Concierge team made my sister’s birthday really special. She is an excellent example of the quality of the Broadmoor Hotel. Thank you for going above and beyond!
- richardsK5615SA (2/5): Beautiful hotel, lousy overpriced food - My wife and I, my daughter and her boyfriend went to lunch at La Tavern on December 26, 2025. We were very disappointed because it was way overpriced for subpar food. I got an old-fashioned drink for $24 and it was terrible. The service was nothing to write home about. I will never go back there for lunch.
- Victor (10/5): -
- Lisa (10/5): Another great stay! - Everything! The staff is just absolutely fantastic and always make guests feel welcomed and well cared for! Rooms are so comfortable and well appointed and always so much to do if you want to (or just relax). Restaurants were top notch and such a great variety of options. Concierge text option was also incredibly helpful It would be hard to find anything. I would only suggest hooks for towels need the shower but that is all!
- coloradotravele (2/5): No more viewing of holiday lights if you are a local - As of this year locals can't go see the lights anymore and they are placing guards outside the gates. We have done this for years taking out of town guests and showing off our prized Broadmoor Hotel but not anymore. We can go during the daylight hours but who wants to see light in the day? Don't think Spenser Penrose had this in mind when he build the hotel for all
- Guest (10/5): - Breakfast was excellent. Dinner in the Penrose was wonderful. My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary. We were very impressed with the Christmas decorations and the service. My wife used the bath tub. She wished the was some bubble bath for her enjoyment.
- krissyp00h (10/5): Exceptional experience - The Broadmoor is one of our favorite hotels and we made the trip with family for Thanksgiving. We had some room confusion after check in but the wonderful staff swooped in and made our stay absolutely unforgettable. The professionalism and care that was taken to make sure the rest of our stay was enjoyable and every need satisfied was so appreciated. This is why we will be forever Broadmoor guests!
- Natasha (10/5): -
- maxpV3009OF (10/5): Broadmoor - Great location, magical property, great customer service, nice rooms and amenities, however the restaurants food was mediocre and expensive. But the amazing customer service provided made up for it.
- W9352ODjasonw (10/5): Superior Hotel Experience - The Broadmoor is our favorite local hotel! The staff are always friendly and professional. They provide the highest level of customer service, which we recognize and value every time we go. 5 Stars on rooms, quality, decor, cleanliness, food and ambiance. Special thanks to Hotel Manager Christian Rolla, staff Norman and Anibal for a great experience and stay!
- JMG (7/5): Come By All Means, But Avoid My Mistakes - This is a landmark hotel which offers a unique experience in a lovely setting. If you are at all fond of travel, you should make a special trip to The Broadmoor sometime in your life. And if you work for a company or association that can afford it, you should definitely recommend it for a conference or incentive tour.
Some of the things I especially liked:
Multiple restaurant options. Large, well-appointed rooms, all with views. Beautiful and impressive lobby areas (there are two main buildings, the West being newer and actually nicer in decor), decorated in a style that blends Grand Lodge with Luxury Glitz. Stunning collection of Western art that makes every corridor a joy to explore, and that includes originals by Bierstadt, Remington, and Parrish. It’s also a thrill to think so many famous people have stayed here. So why the 7/10?
I am a professional hotelier and restaurateur, developer and owner of a 5-star resort in Asia, Plantation Bay, “a Real Resort with a Real Spa.” I’ve stayed in numerous luxury resorts and city hotels around the world in the same price range as The Broadmoor, including some which are even more unique (Huka Lodge in New Zealand, Blue Lagoon in Iceland), so I’m reasonably qualified as a judge of hotel quality and operations at this level. These comments are addressed to the hotel’s owners and top managers, in case they don’t have mystery shoppers.
One. Food & Beverage is amateurish, not up to the level of the hotel infrastructure. Look for my Google maps reviews of breakfast at the Lake Terrace Dining room, dinners at Ristorante del Lago and the Penrose Room. La Taverne was okay, food-wise.
Two. Staff demeanor is too variable. Some are warm, some deferential, some warm until you’ve signed for the tip, some cool and indifferent, some cool bordering on dismissive. With 750 rooms, I understand that it’s a struggle to maintain a consistent staff “culture”, but it doesn’t look as if Training has even made an effort.
Three. Penny-pinching. Nickel-and-diming. Small room defects not attended to. Towels under-sized for this luxury level. None of the table lamps in La Taverne are functioning but are left on the table (as decor?). First hotel I’ve ever been in that charged me for accepting Amazon deliveries (each). First hotel I’ve ever been in that charges a mandatory 20% tip at restaurants, which suggests a lack of faith that the type of guests the hotel attracts will tip fairly by American standards.
- Granite_Stater (10/5): Special Place - It’s a beautiful, well-run and fun resort that manages to successfully blend its history and roots with modern amenities and expectations.
The rooms are spacious and well appointed. We had a Classic in the West Tower and a Premier in the main West building. Both had spectacular mountain views. While the Premier was a tad larger, it felt a little sterile and I actually thought the lower-priced Classic had more charm.
We dined at De Lago the first night. I’d give it 3 stars out of 5. The Italian food was decent but nothing particularly stood out. The special cocktails we ordered were not very good and extremely expensive.
2nd night dinner at La Taverne was very good. Delicious steaks and roast chicken. Great sides. Nice selection of wines by the glass. Beautiful dining room. Our server, David, was terrific.
The staff were great overall. Very professional, friendly and helpful. The place is definitely well run.
My only gripes:
* the bowling alley, which they talked up while I was making the reservation and also during our check-in tour, was closed for a private party BOTH Friday and Saturday nights. Very disappointing for our family, especially since we had no idea and planned our dinner timing so we could hit the bowling alley afterwards. I wouldn’t have minded if it was closed for a party one night, but both weekend nights feels a bit unfriendly to guests.
* the coffee shop on the West side ran out of most food items by 11am Sunday morning.
- Joefish925 (10/5): Not To Be Missed - Had a wonderful time at the Broadmoor Hotel in
Colorado Springs. The property is quite large but
well laid out and easy to navigate. Check-in was
quick and easy and our bellman elected to spend
considerable time with us to point our the various
hotel facilities which was much appreciated. Our
room was comfortable, well designed and offered
a balcony which allowed us to watch the holiday
light hanging activities. Breakfast was quite good
as was our dinner in the Italian Restaurant. There
is also a very casual eating place that offers
sandwiches, pastry and ice cream which was a nice
break from the larger meals enjoyed during our trip.
Highly recommended.
- Rebecca3070645 (10/5): Excellent - The hotel and the grounds are exceptionally maintained and very beautiful. Our room was wonderful and very clean which is hard to find even in the high end hotels now. We did have a problem with our room when checking in but the young girl at the front desk and the manager that I talked to went above and beyond to make things right. I wish I could remember their names. We were there for Lexus meetings and after our wonderful time there we plan on returning. I highly recommend this hotel. We did have not one negative experience during our 3 night stay.
- StephenCr0ss (10/5): Wonderful hotel - takes you back in time 6⭐️ - The Broadmoor is a great historic hotel where so many famous people have stayed …and they have the photos to prove it! Great bars and restaurants around the lake. Facilities stunning! Highly recommended.
- Marilyn (10/5): - Was a great place to stay - totally enjoyed .
- currency24 (10/5): Great Hotel Resort - Excellent Hotel - Excellent Staff- friendly and helpful. Property is well maintained. Great variety and choices for Dinning. Excellent Location to go to the Zoo to Cog Railway to Pikes Peak or drive up to Pikes Peak. Very good hiking trails and you have 7 Falls. Located in a nice area of Colorado Springs. I am a repeat guest.
- Expedition552515 (4/5): Nice hotel, the spa was a let down - Nice hotel but save your money on the spa. The message was a bit of a joke. When they charge $5/minute and don’t do anything but rub light circles on your back it’s a little frustrating. The hotel had plenty of amenities but was antiquated. Everyone at the hotel was nice except for the lady at the reception of the spa.
- jfd (10/5): Lovely stay - This was a bucket list stay at this historic hotel. Loved the history and all the artifacts around the property. The grounds are immaculate and the setting spectacular. There are shuttles to the falls and the zoo which we took advantage of. Food is very expensive and the outdoor pool was closed 3 of the 4 days for no reason I could tell. we used the indoor pool which was nicely heated and we had it to ourselves. The outdoor spa overlooks the golf course and was well heated. We saw deer several times as there are lots of flower arrangements that they attempt to eat. Our room was upgraded to Premier which was huge but in the West wing and somewhat of a shlep. Check in and check out were understaffed and a long wait otherwise service was good. Appreciated turn down service and the concierge.
- 285bethd (10/5): Wonderful! - We had an absolutely delightful stay this weekend. Not only is this property stunning to behold, it is staffed with wonderful, dedicated people who make it even more exceptional.
The Broadmoor is on par with our favorite five-star European hotels, and that says everything.
- Christine (10/5): - Cleanliness, excellent service, grounds were magical
- 62HTS (10/5): Nirvana at its BEST or as some might call it Heaven on earth!!! - Wow! If you are smart enough to stay here, everything will exceed your expectations! The guest rooms, decor, amenities, services, landscape and even the joviality of other guests who are just as delighted as you are to be a guest!
We were fortunate enough to be there over Labor Day and were THRILLED to be present for their dog parade and contest! Something so SIMPLE, brought guests of all ages, babies to those in wheelchairs, come together and delight! I mentioned that to Ann, the Assistant General Manager, the best MC, for the parade, she was so thankful for the positive comments and great to chat with! Thank you, Ann, for being so accessible.
We ate at some of the restaurants; our most memorable experience was when Brian was our server at Ristorante Del Lago. He was a delight, professional and could NOT have been a BETTER ambassador to Broadmoor. So surprised when on our 2nd night there we mentioned to the restaurant manager we returned because of Brian, he went on about the whole staff, well maybe he was distracted, and did not get the point.
- Megan (8/5): Lovely spot for our Baby Moon - Beautiful stay. Lovely baby moon getaway to a Colorado staple. Staff is so friendly and kind. The grounds and room are next level.
My only complaint was I had scheduled a pre-natal massage and there was some confusion about the time. I had written down a half hour later than what they had in their schedule. However I never received a confirmation call or e-mail, which may have avoided the confusion. I only received a phone call at the time they had the massage scheduled to begin. Luckily I arrived in time of them to rush me through the process, but it wasn't very enjoyable, and hard to rush 35 weeks pregnant! Even without the confusion the massage was a bit awkward. The spa otherwise is gorgeous with a beautiful view of the golf course.
- livelifenow1234 (10/5): Beyond 5 Star Review! - Does anyone have anything bad to say about The Boadmoor? The staff is beyond 1st class, the grounds, restaurants and pool are amazing. Why would someone stay anywhere else when they are in Colorado Springs?
- Linda (10/5): - Outstanding property in every way!
- cornerstoner2025 (2/5): Worst dinning experience of my life! - Recently dined at the Tavern restaurant at the Broadmore and could not even eat the fish or the potatoes and asparagus. The fish was strong and fishy tasting and the sauce was disgusting, the salads were not even edible. I ask for a manager and he said he would not charge us for the entree but that was all he would do. We ended up paying $150.00 for the three oysters we were able to eat and the coffee we drank. 20% automatic gratuity added plus 20% in resort fees and taxes. We had much better food at the Cowboy Star and the entire delicious meal with desert and a $40 tip was just over $200.00. Don't waste your money just to say you ate at "the broadmore" and rub shoulders with elitest snobs.
- Heather (10/5): Fice Stars - Just heaven on earth. This place is truly magical.
- travellustinggirl (4/5): Check you credit card bill - Check your credit card bill. We ate lunch on the patio of the Cafe. The waitress was not friendly. She asked for my CC.i gave it to her. Apparently we looked like we couldn’t afford a $30 lunch. Now I see a pending bill of $40. The $50 lunch bill cleared. Don’t go there!
- LynneS914 (4/5): Not good for the price - Do not go. Very expensive for what you get. Food is terrible. They tell you one thing at one place and another at another. Last night wanted to get 4 beers to take back to room. We were at pool bar. They said they had to open all of them. 2 nights prior we were “allowed” to purchase beverages unopened to take back to room. Wanted to sit by window for breakfast. Told no because only 2 of us and tables by window were for 4. Few couples later they were allowed to sit by window and there were only 2. Elevator was out of order and we were on 7th floor. Not worth the money
- kiwisky (10/5): Fabulous stay at a lovely resort! - This hotel met all expectations. Clean, peaceful, elegant and lovely are just some of the words to describe our experience. Centrally located and easy to get to multiple sites in the area. Loved taking walks around the lake and relaxing on the various chairs and benches scattered around. Ristorante Del Lago was our favorite dining location. Would absolutely stay here again.
- chstravelsc (6/5): Systems needed to support staff for customer service - The Broadmoor needs staff training. The team members are very nice, but they are not trained to “act” as you would expect at a five star resort. We were checked into a ADA room which was fine EXCEPT the closet was not able to accommodate dresses or gentleman’s jacket. The housekeeping staff brought in a coat rack but that was not wonderful to look at for the entire business trip. We also had a challenge with the Cafe on Sunday when the restaurant is hosting the famous Sunday brunch. As you might imagine everyone who is not doing the 137.00 per person brunch is getting coffee, fruit and pastries at the cafe. There were plenty of staff but no plan on how to serve the customers. They lost my order. I finally talked to the manager and she helped get my coffee sorted. They need a plan for an organized line and a plan for more bakery goods. They were out of almost everything including most muffins. Just not acceptable.
- Joshua (10/5): - The hotel is a fantastic resort - the grounds are immaculate, the service is first class, and the food is very good. It is expensive - every activity, meal, and even parking is pricy.
- alisonsX9058OH (10/5): Super Security! - We want to thank the Head of Security! We left a few items (including our car keys!) when we checked out. It took a few days as the room was occupied but he personally went to the room and found the missing items! We are so grateful.
- kristinlV288LJ (10/5): Best resort in Colorado - Perfectly perfect in every way! I truly cannot think of one negative thing to say about the Broadmoor! The service is unparalleled, every meal we had was fabulous, the spa is beautiful, the views are breathtaking, the rooms are exquisite. It is truly the perfect Colorado getaway!
- Sensenigr (10/5): A wonderful work conference at the Broadmoor - I stayed at the Broadmoor for 3 nights in Mid-July for a work conference. I am so glad that we had the pleasure to stay here, and the entire stay was wonderful from start to finish.
I found the staff to be so accommodating and helpful, in every area. The grounds are just stunning, and clearly they spend a lot of money to keep the grounds looking the way they do. And it shows. Green manicured lawns, beautiful trees, abundant flowers, and more.
The lake separating the two main areas of the resort was beautiful. The golf course was beautiful and of course the views of the mountains are unforgettable.
I stayed on the ground level of Northlake and the room was stunning. This property truly celebrates the historical era of this resort, with modern amenities. My housekeeper and turndown service person kept my room spotless every day and evening. The details are really what makes any place special, and the details here were great. Little chocolates with turndown, wrapping up your charging cords daily, placing your toiletries in an orderly fashion on a towel --- little things that you may not think twice about -- but they really do matter!
All the food we had on property was great, and the meeting and event space was wonderful as well.
I would not hestitate to return to this historic and beautiful resort. Thank you Broadmoor.
- Ana (10/5): - The staff was friendly and courteous. The entire hotel was very clean and kept. There's plenty to do in the hotel itself, but quite a few activities nearby as well (Pikes peak, Manitou Cliff dwellings, Seven falls). The resort has shuttles that can take you to nearby places. All the restaurants offer great food and drinks. Overall, it was a wonderful experience

- W5439JBsg (2/5): Horrible from the moment we walked in - STILL WAITING ON ROOM - here on business with large group and with spouse. Absolute horrible service the moment we walked in the door. Traveled all day and we requested early check-in. Got here at 12:30pm and told people still in our room. How! Check out is at noon. Been getting the run around on when a room would be available. Continue to be told they will check with housekeeping and no one has done a thing. This is day one and I will continue to leave reviews, as based on how they are handling this issue it is pretty clear where they put customer service.
- JamesTX68 (10/5): The nest five-star experience - We attended the US Senior Open. Aa always, the Broadmoor never disappoints. We have been coming here fir 34 years as family and couple. Staying here roughly once or even twice a year in recent years. It is the most beautiful setting imaginable, as if stepping into a European resort or another world. The dining is spectacular, incredible artwork , excellent facilities at every level. A true 5-star gem with its wholly unique setting not replicated anywhere else in the US.
- Heather (10/5): - An absolute beautiful property with an incredible amount of things to do! Impeccable, Service, and five star class restaurants! Highly recommend!
- deanf646 (10/5): Exquisite Broadmoor - The Broadmoor provides a most memorable experience with luxurious lodging, superior service, delectable food, lovely landscapes, and fabulous hospitality! Randy at the Base Camp store was hospitable and knowledgeable about the historical books written by the current owner of the Broadmoor. Justinrey, the concierge, was friendly and had a host of relevant information about the hotel and local attractions. Brian and Alyssa provided superior service and hospitality at the Ristorante Del Lago bar for numerous dinners. Their recommendations were spot on and made our dining memorable. Heston and Jess provided superior service and lively energy at the cafe. Tyler was accommodating at the LaTaverne restaurant for lunch. What a beautiful setting with the skylights. We had a delicious lunch of trout at 1858 with Leon proving friendly and attentive service while visiting Seven Falls. Everyone staff member we encountered was absolutely lovely, gracious, knowledgeable and service oriented!
The grounds were impeccable, the room was luxurious, and the infinity pool was divine.
We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at the Broadmoor!
- JakeTrout99 (8/5): The Broadmoor is an art gallery, disguised as a top-shelf hotel, but dining came up short. - The Broadmoor is an art gallery, disguised as a top-shelf hotel. Seriously. Get an art guide from the concierge and have a great time enjoying the may, many paintings and bronze works. The restaurants were disappointing, but the reception staff, grounds, rooms, and artwork are amazing. Our room (South Tower) had a "meh" view (parking lot)...but no worries as we spent little time in our room. The 2025 US Senior open golf tournament was held here and this was a main reason for our stay. Broadmoor restaurants (Golden Bee, Del Lago and Terrace) disappointed us. Del Lago is a nice and energetic venue (our favorite of the eateries we tried at The Broadmoor). Service was the main low point across all dining venues we visited. Simple menu or wine questions were met with quizzical stares and "I'll go ask", or an answer that was weak in detail. The food was not bad but presentation really came up short and we really expected better from the Broadmoor, especially at the price points. Be aware: All food purchases have an automatic 20% gratuity (Which is the average we tip, anyway)..... But this "known" amount for servers, we think contributed to their lackluster performances as it felt like they we just "going through the motions". Overall, We'd return for another stay and try other restaurants on property, or even head into Colorado Springs.
- L9355SIjohns (10/5): One of the World’s Best - Another excellent stay at the Broadmoor, this time during the US Senior Open. The hotel is beautiful, the grounds are breathtaking, and the staff are incredibly helpful, even when the hotel is jammed for a special event. Our large, quiet room in the west building was a retreat and a haven during a busy time. Loved the bagpipes over the lake at dusk. We are repeat guests and will be back again.
- David (10/5): - Perfectly manicured grounds
- lindsaymE2207UG (10/5): can’t beat the Broadmoor - Stayed in a gorgeous sweet, we go every year for the holiday season. The Christmas decor is beautiful, the staff is second to none, luxury accommodations, which you pay for but well worth our holiday tradition. We do attend the holiday show every year, it seems to be going downhill? But we will still continue going each season. I highly recommend the summertime as well, the pools, golf course, Lake, and local entertainment keep our entire family busy.
- ATLGA91 (10/5): Beautiful ranch experience - We had an amazing time at the Broadmoor Emerald Valley Ranch. The hotel staff, the ranch hands, the chef- everyone was so nice and welcoming. The cabins were backwoods luxury (although be aware no AC) and the stay was so nice. It felt so far away from reality and a perfect blend of activities and pure relaxation. Our 12 year old never wanted to leave. Go there now!
- Rebecca (10/5): - The Broadmoor is as close to a perfect lodging experience as it gets. The property is meticulously maintained and the rooms are exquisite. Combine with over-the-top service, we enjoyed an unparalleled experience.
- JeriJoS (10/5): A Piece of Heaven - The entire experience was fabulous. The staff were all so attentive and wonderful. The grounds, rooms, and seating areas were immaculate. The entire area is so relaxing and the views are beautiful. Sitting out on having drinks and appetizers are a must. Who knew pretzel bites could be so amazing! Their bakery is a must as well. Great selections and impressive baked goods and chocolates.
- Discover26761771867 (10/5): Best Hotel/Resort Stay I've ever had-and it rained the whole time! - The Broadmoor is the best hotel I've ever been to! The service is 5 star, the property is gorgeous and implacably maintained, and every single staff person went out of their way to make sure you had everything you could need or want.
I stayed here as part of a conference and was lucky enough to be able to stay in a Superior Room in the South tower.
After a rough travel day, we arrived late in the day, and I was able to relax and unwind in the enormous soaking tub.
The staff took care of every single detail with the utmost care. It rained a lot while we were there and we were walking back and forth to the conference center and at every door exit there was an umbrella for you to use, and at every entrance, there was a stand for you to place the umbrella. Since the crowd from the conference was so large, they even had staff down at the conference center wrapping up the umbrellas and drying them off.
When I came back to my room the first day, housekeeping had laid out all my toiletries on a special towel, in neat rows along the bathroom sink. They even rolled up my laptop cords, phone charger and lined up my shoes!!!!
While we were there, there was a scheduled 4 hour power outage. It was unfortunate, but we were at the conference and it was middle of the day, so it really didn't matter to us. Well, my boss had gone back to her room to work on something towards the end. When the power wasn't back on, she walked downstairs and was kind of milling about until she could charge her ipad. She made a comment to another woman in the lobby about if she knew if the power was going to back on soon. Turns out, the other woman was the General Manager, Ann Alba. Not only did Ann apologize for the inconvenience, she sent a bottle of wine and a beautifully laid out charcuterie to her room later that day!
I would recommend this hotel time and time again to anyone who asks. We had dinner at LaTaverne which was fabulous, and had drinks at the hotel bar in the main building-delicious!
We only had time for business, but there is so much to do on the property and downtown Colorado Springs is just a 10 minute uber ride. If you have a chance to go to the broadmoor, GO!
- 169jedw (10/5): Timeless classic setting standards - Always a good visit. With family or sharing with a business partner. We visit every chance we get. Holiday lights or an early spring break from the desert heat there is always a reason to visit. We will be back soon. If you get the chance, even visit for the day.
- costaricagregg (10/5): Great European Style Hotel - The Broadmoor was built to rival the European hotels of the day. Today the hotel stands as a measuring stick for western hotels in the US. The staff are very accomodating and pay particular attention to the guests. There are a variety of things to do and the grounds are immaculate. I appreciate the large rooms and grand style.
One thing to know, however, is that the hotel has become very kid-centric. If you do not enjoy kids at the pool or a parade of strollers in the lobby, it may not be the place for you.
- jeannem341 (10/5): Quick overnight rest and relaxation - My husband and I were driving home to Texas with friends who had never been here before, and even though we arrived in the afternoon and had to leave early the next morning is was the best, per usual 💯 we did drinks at the historic bar, a walk around the property followed by dinner at the Grill and shenanigans at the 🐝 💃🏼🥰
- marca934 (10/5): Beautiful Property - This is a beautiful hotel in very large. Our room had a great view of the lake in the center end of the mountain range. Incredible history of this hotel is available to read about all throughout the Hotel corridors. I would definitely come back here again and recommend it.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Just wonderful! Go!
- Rosaura (10/5): - Excellent facility and services!
- dreamdesigns (10/5): Feel like Royalty for just a weekend - We have been lucky to live so close to the Broadmoor. It's just "stunning" and beautiful. Just sit and take in the beauty of the mountains or just people watch. However, it's the staff that is 5 star. Paula from the Golden Bee has to be my most memorable. She has a gift of kindness and compassion. There is always a downside which is almost a 33% upcharge with taxes, fees, etc. Don't look at the bill just tell yourself "you deserve it"
- susanlst (10/5): The Spectacular Broadmoor Resort - Old school perfection is the standard at The Broadmoor. The entire property is postcard stunning. Every detail and guest could hope for has been anticipated and delivered. Our spacious room is a slice of heaven. We have a separate living room, perfect for hosting guests or early morning video calls.
I spent a wonderful afternoon at the spa. The entire spa is spotless and beautifully appointed. Manager Stephanie was welcoming and obviously has an eye for details. Megan gave me a tour of the facilities and left me to change into a cozy, warmed robe and spa slippers. I enjoyed a 50-minute massage from the professional Sharon. She gave a great massage and coached me through the whole process in ways no one else ever has in the many previous massages I've had elsewhere.
I spent some relaxing time enjoying the dry sauna, the steam sauna, and a refreshing shower. The spa includes well-appointed, clean changing rooms, a lovely makeup area, an array of products to try and lots of water and snacks. There is a fireplace room to have a cup of tea and a room with a view of the mountains. It's all amazing!
I highly recommend you treat yourself to a spa day at the Broadmoor. It's a treat you will never forget.
- John C. (10/5): - Good
- Mary Ellen (10/5): - This is an amazing property! I stayed there for work trips several times over the years and treated my sons to a golf weekend. We had a great time and great meals.
- jerryrG9390JR (10/5): Stunning property with incredible service and amenities - This experience is truly one to remember! From the moment you arrive until the time you depart; you're enveloped in exceptional hospitality. The staff genuinely goes above and beyond to ensure your every moment is enjoyed to the fullest. With stunning views and flawless service, every detail is meticulously crafted to offer an unforgettable stay. The Broadmoor is a destination that everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime. I couldn't have been more impressed with my stay!
- 4nonni (10/5): We love the Broadmoor! - Whenever we plan a trip out West we plan a stay at the Broadmoor. We even have a favorite room that we've stayed in many times. I love walking around the lake every morning. Cocktails in the bar. Friendly staff. It's all good. Always a pleasure...the Sunday buffet is amazing!!
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ana Beatris (10/5): - A stunning hotel with beautiful outdoor spaces and a variety of dining options, including a scenic lakefront bar that stays open late. While the experience is exceptional, be prepared for premium pricing. Unfortunately, the pool was closed during spring break, which was a disappointment for my kids.
- Ibet (10/5): - Our stay was amazing
- irasL8152IS (10/5): The Broadmoor - The place is spectacular. Everything from the cleanliness, golf courses (yes there are 2), landscaping, staff, child care options. Sunsets on the local peaks is gorgeous. Great local attractions...Pike's Peak just ok, Garden of the Gods, The 7 falls, local cowboy set used in TV, movies.
- Alan (4/5): - Pool closes at 7 pm …ridiculous
Out of
Coors light
Root beer
$75 an hour bowling and bumpers didn’t work
Very poor family vacation experience with family
- brenda (10/5): - Excds expectations, cuisine, staff, pool hot tub, so
- Charles L (4/5): Beautiful but overpriced - One of the most amazing resorts I've stayed at in the U.S., great service, wonderful room but way overpriced. Paid over $400 per night for the room which did not include a daily resort fee of nearly $50. Dinner cost nearly $150 and breakfast, two coffees and two croissants cost nearly $40. Parking also was not included in the $400 per night room charges. We make a comfortable living but would rather spend my money elsewhere. Won't be coming back.
- LuxuryTraveler92660 (10/5): Excellent Execution - The Broadmoor continues to execute execute execute. The service is great, the rooms are well-appointed and clean, the TV works, and whatever you need is available. This is both a great business stay hotel as well as someplace I wish I could spend a week exploring the grounds of this true grand resort.
- Carl (6/5): - Wonderful property. Recommendation: avoid checking in at 4 PM. 20 minutes in line to get to the valet, another 20 in line to check in.
- Robert (10/5): - Amazing
- 994alang (10/5): Fix your HVAC system - This property is the best operated, most service oriented, luxurious, guest friendly in the western US. It is meticulously cared for, offers endless opportunities for dining and leisure activities and is in a beautiful setting.
We have stayed here numerous times, usually in the fall and winter.
My only, and I emphasize only, complaint is that the HVAC thermostats are woefully outdated and make achieving a consistent, comfortable temperature in the rooms impossible. In winter, you either suffocate with heat, or turn it down or off and freeze. There is no option for temperature selection.
I suspect the issue is the expense of updating the entire system, which I’m sure would be significant. In any case, it should be done.
- TXMARTINS (10/5): The best views! - Large historic property meticulously maintained. A variety of rooms and cottages are available for a romantic weekend away, a family adventure or a conference. Multiple dining options, and beautifully decorated for the holidays. Valet parking and great staff around every corner.
- Laningham (10/5): Excellent -
- 896davidf (10/5): Amazing, true 5-star experience - I'm not sure whether delight or awe best describes our recent stay at the Broadmoor but it was an amazing experience. From check-in through departure EVERYTHING was as perfect as it gets. The whole property is immaculate. Beds and pillows are extremely comfortable. Every staff person we encountered seemed as if it were their personal mission to make our experience one to remember.
We had Sunday brunch while we were there. Again, GREAT experience. Food preparation and presentation were impeccable; undoubtably the best in Colorado and one of the top in the whole U.S.
Having stayed at a number of 5 star/5 diamond properties in the U.S., Broadmoor is at the top. I am looking forward to our next stay.
- Timothy (10/5): - Great place.
- Trace (10/5): - Such a beautiful place! We love everything about it! Great place for families to explore.
- Anita (8/5): - I would advise you to book directly with The Broadmoor. Our room overlooked dumpsters and had furiously barking dogs directly across the hall.I think you might fare better working with the resort for better accommodations. The Broadmoor is a lovely property and the staff is great. It was not my first visit and will not be my last, but I will not stay in building 2100 again.
- Debra (10/5): - A true 5* resort, expensive as hell but you get quality! Never did I hear”No” we can’t do that! An experience of trading and excellence 😄😄😄❤️
- Rachael (8/5): Very good -
- Mel & Dena (8/5): - Beautiful! Staff was Great. 🎄🎄
- Charlie (10/5): - This is a five star property and one of the best resorts in the world. I come here a lot because it’s fantastic.
- Daniela (10/5): - We celebrated our anniversary at The Broadmoor and it was amazing. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We felt pampered everywhere we went. Had an amazing couples massage at the beautiful spa, and dinner and brunch reservations as well. Everything was top notch. Hope to be back soon
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (10/5): - Lovely scenery
- Margie (10/5): THE RESORT IS 6 STARS - The resort is probably the best resort ever we have stayed in. Nothing
- Margaret (10/5): - Beautiful five star property. Everything was beyond our expectations.
- Vickie (8/5): Very good - Beautiful pool very clean Waited a half an hour to get a cup of coffee and a smoothie
Bar staff by pool lost our room key and made no attempt to locate
- Terry Thomas (10/5): - An excellent to relax, walk and unwind. A must for any traveler who loves historic hotels with exceptional service.
