Also we liked the garden type setting and pool We were in the Junior Suite and were counting on a little more in the kitchenette. Next time we would probably go for a room with a larger kitchen

Goed bed Nette douche met toiletruimte Hygiene Eigenaar is erg behulpzaam en spreekt engels Eigenlijk niets, wees er wel bewust van dat er geen eten wordt aangeboden dus geen ontbijt en geen diner. Zit genoeg in de buurt en je kunt eventueel laten bezorgen. Tevens heeft iedere kamer wel een keukentje met twee elektrische kookplaten en een mogelijkheid om de afwas te doen. En er staat een gedekte tafel voor twee personen. Heb ik zelf niet gebruikt. Personeel spreekt zo goed als geen engels, dus dat is behelpen. In Nigaragua is het leren van de engelse taal nog geen gemeengoed.

Iva (7/5): Good - Very nice garden with a pool. It is quite pleasant to use the pool when Léon can be such a hot city. One of the ladies taking care of the hotel was really unfriendly. She barely wanted to prepare breakfast (although included in the price and also advertised in front of the hotel). It is a family house and the family members come ad stay in the common are, which is not a problem at all per se, but they also use the toilet and shower meant for guests (not all rooms have their own bathroom) and sometimes it was not so clean. Another staff also tried to charge us for four nights instead of one. It is a lovely place but because of all the above, we did not feel prolonging our stay

The parking lot was a bit complicated to navigate, and the door security electronic system seemed outdated. Additionally, the backyard glass door had broken security features, which was concerning for safety. Furthermore, I noticed that one of the bath lamps was damaged. Despite these drawbacks, the rest of the amenities and services were satisfactory.

Stephanie (9/5): Superb - Great stay at this small boutique hotel! Very safe location and loved the spaciousness of the rooms with the kitchenette which felt more like a studio apartment. The small gardens outside each room were also nice to enjoy/ view each morning. Staff was very helpful from the cleaning ladies to security to the front desk. I have visited Managua 20+ times and tried many of the area hotels but Altos is my new favorite and will definitely make this my go-to place when in Managua again!

Allison (8/5): Good hotel with lots of potential to be great - The hotel has a lot of character. The rooms are big and have little kitchens. I love the patio access looking out at the pool grounds. The hotel staff was very accommodating and happy to help. There were some big repair and remodeling projects going on so I think it will look even better in the future. The lawn furniture and gazebo furniture were in bad shape and could easily have been fixed. The pool looked very pretty and they were maintaining it well. There is so much potential with the landscape. There is a water garden but was empty and dry.
Alyssandra (10/5): Altos de Fontana A Jewel In Managua - Altos de Fontana is a quiet, pleasant boutique hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. This has become my go to hotel in Managua. It is close to shopping, there is a quaint art gallery up the street. If you like walking there is a very safe out and back 10km walk up through a very exclusive neighborhood.
