• Verified traveler (2/5): - The Double room with double bed that we booked and paid for in advance was not big enough for one person. We stayed there one night and left the next day, the lady would not give us a refund and refused to help us. The bed was around a foot too short for me, being 6 feet tall and was not as wide as a standard double bed, so we could not sleep there at all. The building it is located in is sleazy, dirty and run down, it also took us 25 minutes to get down in the elevator as it is constantly full of people and we could not get in with our bags. Would not recommend this place and we were cheated out of our money.
• Barry (8/5): Clean room - The beds were very comfortable, lots of hot water,, the room was very small and it was on the 11th floor, staff was friendly and cleanes the room daily and changed towels. Excellent location, we were steps away from holiday Inn where we caught the free shuttle to the Airport Express subway.

• よろ (2/5): - 様々な呼び込みで、建物に入りづらい。 着いたら、別の場所（AからE）に泊まれと指示された。 ビル自体、中がA〜G棟に分かれており、エレベーター待ちも、それぞれ10分ぐらいかかった。 このホテルを見つける自体で1時間位、AからEの移動で30分強かかった。 部屋は汚くは無いが、トイレ込みで2畳程。 シャワーを浴びるのは不可能に近い。

• Mikael (8/5): billigt o bra boende i hjärtat än Kowloon - Enkelt Och billigt boende i hjärtat av Kowloon. Mycket trevlig o hjälpsam värdinna. små men funktionella rum och rent och fräscht. enda problemet var ac:n som brötade.

• Verified traveler (2/5): 根本不會想再住 - 明明設施裡有盥洗用具吹風機，到了領完鑰匙要跑到另一棟就算了沒有吹風機真的很問號，幸好盥洗用具自己也有帶。打電話問吹風機的問題還沒有想解決就只說本來就沒有，也告知訂房資訊裡面是有的，也是說那就沒有附，電風扇電視有附可是都壞了也沒訊號根本不能用 根本不會想再住第二次 電梯也要等很久

• KAZUHIRO (6/5): It's good just for sleeping at cheap price - The room given to me was very different from the picture which Hotels.com shows. ( It was very small !! There was no place to put a carry case and open it outside of the bed.) But I think that their room rate ( HK$220 ) was pretty economical and reasonable in Hong Kong where hotels are very expensive. Since my stay was one night for transit to next day's flight, so it was O.K. for me just to be able to sleep in a air-conditionered room at cheap price. The Madam was friendly, and the room has both air-conditioner and ceiling fan.

• Jenol (8/5): Comfortable & worthy stay - Happy & comfortable stay for 2 nights. Room & bathroom are much bigger than many of the other rooms in this mansion. Helpful as well as cheerful staff to brighten our stay. Easily assessible to MTR & etc.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Nice and clean guesthouse - The staff is excellent, the rooms are clean. The major complaint is that some towels and sheets have ingrained uncleanable stains on them. The air conditioners in rooms with two single beds are noisy, but such rooms have a fridge. Two double bed rooms seem not to have a fridge, but the air conditioner there is quiet. Don't account for a full-sized window. There are toothbrushes, soap, shampoo (I wasn't able to open the latter without scissors). A hair dryer is provided on request. The beds and pillows are comfy. Oftentimes there is a line to the elevator.
• joe (4/5): - For $50 per day 3 bed suite which is the most expensive option in the place, yet has no window, barely functional AC, room does not look like the picture being advertised. Though it has clean floor and sheets, Spend 50$ more and get 10x more confort and amenities. Super small private bathroom, you will likely have to use share bathroom for shower.

• mark (6/5): Small but clean and way too much noise - You get what you pay for I guess. It was really small and there was so much noise from other rooms I couldn’t sleep. But good location and it was clean.
• Verified traveler (8/5): pretty average and a little bit dirty - guesthouse itself was simple and very small. the bathroom was a little bit unclean and so small you had situate the shower head so you shower between the toilet and sink. but, for the price it was not too bad.

• Martin (4/5): Very frustrating check in - I understand what I will get in terms of a room at the Chung King Mansion hotel complex. But having queued the usual 40mins for the lift to the block/floor indicated on the confirmation, I found that my room was in a completely different block, requiring me to go back to ground level and queue once again. With heavy luggage, I could really have done without that.
• Jenol (8/5): Recommended & worth its value. - The room given to us was clean, spacious & more confortable than the other rooms we had stayed before in Chungking Mansion. The staff was polite & helpful too. It’s worth the money we paid for. We will come back & stay here again. Good location even though the entrance of the Mansion is rather a chaotic sight!
• Esra (6/5): Good but not honest - I booked for the Fortunate Guest House, because of the pictures and the reviews. But they took us a different guest house which in Block E. The rooms were not the same as the picture. I booked for the Fortunate, not for the other one! Room was OK, but there's no one in this guest house. I didn't feel safe. We could see the lady only check in time. And then she disappeared. Because she works in Fortunate!
• Winona (6/5): Budget guest house in a convenient location - - Great location (Chungking Mansions is located in Nathan Road), -The guest house is located in the 11th floor and lots of other people use the elevators (there will be a line during peak hours). Elevators can only accommodate 6 people at a time. - The place is very very clean and well maintained. - Rooms and bathrooms (you have a personal bathroom and there are communal bathrooms for use) are small but livable. - The caretaker of the guesthouse is very friendly.

• Normandy Alvin (8/5): Fortunate Stay - If youre expecting much for a hotel stay, this is not for you. The room was just sufficient enough for a stay to sleep, take a bath and keep your things while you explore HK. Not too fancy but comfortable enough for a budget travel. The place was clean and well maintained. (Expect a room of tiles from floor to wall.. chinese buildings are crazy about such design). there is a Filipina staff who was very helpful to give some helpful tips around the city. Over all, its jus at fine place for someone budget conscious.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Very cheap but clean and friendly staff. - So if you are looking for a clean, friendly and super cheap place to stay then this is the place. BUT my room was tiny. I mean super tiny (room 2) but it was all I needed as I was busy and just needed a place to sleep. The entrance to the Mansion is through a ground floor of shops and money exchanges with quite a few guys trying to get you to buy something and with all the guest houses you have to wait sometimes awhile for the lift. BUT, if cheap, clean and friendly are your criteria then the rest I could live with.

• YC (6/5): Budget Guesthouse at a convenient location - For the price you pay, you'll get a simple, no frills place to rest at night. The 'hotel' is actually a series of private apartments partitioned and converted into guesthouses, so don't expect any hotel facilities. The rooms are tiny, much like capsule hotels. You'll get a bed, and a tiny toilet with shower facilities. That being said, the rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. The air-con and fans are both in working condition. The rooms are insulated enough and I didn't here any noises from other rooms every they are all in close vicinity. The only complaint is that the lifts serving the apartment rooms are slow and shared by countless are guesthouses operating on the same building, so wait times can be long (<10mins)

• Ho (6/5): Fair - It's ok for only two day staying. The hair dryer is not on the room have to borrow while checking in.
• Tiff (8/5): Good location - Easy to get MTR, shopping centre around here, a lot of money charger downstairs. But they are many foreigners downstairs.
• Cameron (10/5): Exactly what it should be! - Of course, the rooms are small in an affordable Hong Kong guesthouse, but even though the room is small, it had everything one needs. Attached private bathroom, nice towels, toiletries, great wifi, and super friendly staff. Ester was wonderful! The main concern for guesthouses/hostels is if they are clean or not. This one was stellar in that regard. The towels were soft and white, bedding was nice, no smells, NO BEDBUGS! Highly recommend this place for individuals or couples traveling on a budget.

• HONG SENG (4/5): - This guest house is shared by various guest houses in a building. It is operated by a single lift and had a 24 hrs recording which had a long waiting time. Location is good and convenient to various shopping areas. Only thing they provide 1 set of disposal tooth brush/paste and a mini bar of soap for my 3 nights stay.
