- Tina (10/5): Our new favorite place to be! 🔆 - The view of the bay and watching the boats and drawbridge was so cool! Love every detail and service offered.
- Daniel Zebrowski (10/5): -
- Flaschner (9/5): Relaxing and fun! - Staff was very friendly and genuinely cared about guest service. Breakfast was phenomenal and the location was perfect. N/A
- Laura (9/5): - Beautiful view of the bridge, harbor and historic St. Augustine. The included breakfast was delicious.
Also loved no charge for parking the car overnight.
- CLS066 (10/5): Great place to stay. - This was our 2nd year staying here, we loved it. Clean rooms. Easy to access. Great view. Everyone is very nice, We had a great house keeper Sher. We are from Michigan and were there to see the space ship Artemis II take off thanks to Gary at the front desk. We will be back.
- Philipp (9/5): -
- Doris (10/5): Excellent all around! - Location.. very clean.. excellent breakfast.. superior service from Ellen at the front desk! This was our second stay … we will be back!

- Sean (10/5): No Regrets. Staying here again! - The location was fantastic! You can watch sunsets over St.Augustine from your balcony. A 7 minute walk to downtown. The Staff: Gina ( the manager) was amazing. Gary is the night hotel attendant. Very nice and knowledgeable guy. I will be booking a stay there again. Breakfast: the staff cook you a breakfast. The Ricotta Blintz was the best every morning. And all food was delicious and came “with” your room free.
The fire-pit was great after getting out of the hot tub. Yes all pictures are from the hotel and the manager Gina Only thing was the maids did NOT mop the floors. My wife’s feet were black on the tile floors.
- noren5 (10/5): Would Stay Again - My husband and I enjoyed our two night stay at the Marker 8 Hotel and Marina. All rooms face the water making it perfect for viewing boats and the sunset. The bed was extra comfy and the staff was top notch. The gourmet breakfast, which was included was exceptional. We did not sample the 5pm appetizers but they smelled delicious. The location of the hotel was perfectly situated between Old Town St. Augustine and the beach making bike rides enjoyable. We will definitely stay again if we're passing thru that area of Florida.
- S9051RKpatriced (10/5): Great location, great breakfast! - This is the second time we’ve stayed at Marker 8 when visiting St. Augustine. It’s quiet, the balcony view of the river is great-we saw several dolphins and cool birds this time, it’s an easy walk over the bridge to get to shops and restaurants, and it’s clean. A hot breakfast is included with your stay and it’s such a great start to the day-the blintzes are our favorite! We’ll be back here again!
- Laura (10/5): Loved the staff, the view, the breakfast & location - The staff was excellent, courteous and professional. The beds weren’t bad but prefer a firmer bed. Used a small pillow to support my spine. If you like a softer bed then it’s perfect.
- Linda (10/5): Third time we have stayed & it was just as good. Lovely view from our room. - Friendly staff, lovely room, nice pool Nothing
- Tiffany (10/5): Wonderful, magical, one of our best stays! - So much!! Such a cute, clean, welcoming property. My husband and I originally came for the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, but decided to extend our stay in St Augustine. What a wonderful surprise this place ended up being!! So cool to see the drawbridge and boats right from your own balcony! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. And the breakfast!! Probably the best breakfast we’ve ever had, and it’s included!! Be sure not the miss the breakfast! We WILL be back. I’m going to get my dad a stay for his 70th bday as well:) If you want to walk to the historic district, it’s a little bit of a walk across the bridge, but it is doable. We just drove to everything. Nothing against this gem of a property tho!
- DayTrip599373 (10/5): Anniversary weekend - Absolutely loved our stay. Staff were friendly and hotel was clean. Great location with short walk across bridge to downtown. Will be back
- STEVEN (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location with great facilities and exceptional staff.
- 570lyndal (10/5): Exceptional - We had a great stay at Marker 8. Nothing was too much trouble for the exceptional staff!
The rooms were extremely comfortable. Plenty of towels and toiletries.
The complimentary social hour was a welcome after a long day sightseeing.
I would definitely recommend a stay in this small and friendly well appointed and equipped hotel 🤗
- kimmyb7172 (10/5): Marker 8 Hotel - Very nice ! Staff was so friendly and knowledgeable about the area.
- KarenY122 (10/5): Perfect location - They have a nice complimentary breakfast and great location. I’m 63 & not a fast walker but about 20 minute walk from hotel to St. George Street.
- travellingator (10/5): A hotel worth coming back to again and again for St Augustine events! - We stayed here in the past to enjoy the Christmas lights and came again to attend a Santana Concert just a few miles away. Beautiful location away from Sr Augustine hustle and bustle, Walkable to lovely restaurants on either side of the Bridge of Lions. Quick drive to Anastasia State Park and the St Augustine Amphitheater. LOVE the 5-6p hors d’oeuvres as well as the seated gourmet breakfast included in the price of our stay. All employees are friendly and caring.
- Judith (10/5): Best quiet location yet accessible. Gourmet happy hour food and sit down breakfast all included! - Well located, extremely walkable, great local restaurants N/a
- Betsy (10/5): Refreshing Hotel Stay in Perfect Setting - This was such a refreshing stay with Marker 8! Our ck in was thorough with a mini tour with Host and what the Hotel offers. Spacious room and bath, perfect covered balcony with harbor, dolphin and bridge view. Loved happy hour and mingling with guests. Breakfast offered, but other plans so missed it. Love Marker 8! That we needed to leave!
- Nathalie (9/5): Bien apprécié - Petit dejeuner très bien.
Personnel agréable
Bien localisé versus la Old Town
- christine (10/5): A really nice experience. I didn't want to leave my room because why would I ? - Everything
- 964tamit (10/5): Great views, gear comfort - Wonderful views of St Augustine across the Bridge of Lions. I walked everywhere. Rooms r very comfortable and clean. Spacious and great balconies. Full breakfast so so good. So glad I selected this hotel. Great great value.

- Vincent (8/5): -
- Crawford Palmer (10/5): Perfect location to explore StAugustine, quiet, great staff, comfy bed, beautiful view and a nice breakfast - Great location Limited parking
- Jochen (8/5): - Sehr gute Lage und obgleich neben der Zugbrücke gelegen war es sehr ruhig. Es fehlen Handtuchhalter im Badezimmer.
- Fearless45293618497 (10/5): A lovely experience from start to finish! - The whole property is well maintained. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. You can't beat the views and the location is perfect for walking to the restaurants and shops in the historic district. The staff were so friendly and accommodating too. We will definitely be back!
- Virginiatravleler (10/5): Perfect - Beautiful view on the water across from the historic district. Couldn’t ask for a mire convenient location! Clean and comfortable too.
- corybyrdf (10/5): Great room and hotel. Fantastic Breakfast - Overall, really loved our stay here. Location is great as you're not right on the strip so its quiet, however just right across the bridge from everything. The location is great with amazing views of the bridge and water. Our room was very nice. It was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Shower was great as it had a nice rainfall spout with a wand with good water pressure. There was plenty of parking, checkin was easy. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic. Literally no wait. We will definitely be staying here again when we come back to St. Augustine.
- Mike (9/5): Wonderful location and nicely kept property! - The view is amazing. Breakfast was fabulous and all the staff was super friendly and accommodating. The property is well kept and we were provided with everything we needed to make it an enjoyable stay. The location in proximity to the city is an easy 12 minute +/- walk over the bridge. It was great we didn't need to drive to town every time we went out for the day. 1. A tiny annoyance was that on our initial arrival, although the room was very clean, the room had a musty smell, but after airing out for a day, it was much better. 2. A door stop to keep the slider open for fresh air would be helpful as the sliding door closes automatically whether we wanted to keep it ajar or not. Other than that, it really is a gem of a place!
- Lisa (10/5): - The location was perfect and so was the view. They offer free delicious breakfast every morning and our server Belinda was so nice and sweet. We were greeted by Gina when we checked in and she was so nice and helpful. She is very knowledgeable of St. Augustine and was very informational.
- bryonj371 (10/5): Laid back vibe excellent location - Great location. Just walk across the bridge of Lyons and explore the historic city. The views from the balcony are beautiful at sunset watching the colored lights come on. Also, when the tide is low, you can watch theegrets and herons fishing.
The rooms are very clean, the hotel offers, complementary breakfast and late afternoon happy hour. And there is parking.
- Tertzakian (9/5): - On the water. Personnel was friendly and professional. Room could use an upgrade
- floridagirl68 (10/5): Great Hotel ! Beautiful View! - Great Hotel , beautiful clean rooms ! The whole hotel was very well maintained ! Don’t make it to breakfast but menu looked good ! The bottles of water in room was so nice !! Will definitely stay there again !!
- B103XBmichelleh (10/5): Friendly atmosphere - We absolutely loved our stay at Marker 8 Marina Hotel in St. Augustine! The location truly couldn’t be better—just a short, scenic 10-minute walk across the bridge and you’re right in the heart of downtown, without the hassle of traffic or parking.
Speaking of parking, the free on-site parking was a huge bonus and made everything so easy. The hotel itself was spotless, peaceful, and had such a welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived.
The complementary breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, and the servers were genuinely delightful—so kind and attentive. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. They also have a social hour in the evening. For ours we had nachos with a homemade taco dip, pizza, spinach Parmesan flatbread among others.
This was one of those stays where everything just felt easy, relaxing, and enjoyable. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting St. Augustine!
- kim (8/5): -
- Kelly (9/5): Great stay! - Great location. Just a quick walk over the bridge to town. Nice view. Nice lobby and indoor/outdoor seating. Very good value! Good breakfast. The pool is the size of a large hot tub. Thin pillows.
- Donna (9/5): Great location, beautiful views, friendly staff. - Great location right at the end of the Bridge of Lions. Friendly staff. Very nice made-to-order breakfast! Happy hour eats were yummy. Beds were comfortable & the air/heat unit located on the wall was very quiet & a nice change from the normal, noisy floor units. We had a room with a lovely view of the river. Another plus was that parking was included in the room rate. The bathroom needed touch up paint & the pocket door was awkward…to open you had to reach into the opening & pull it out with your fingers. In, addition, it wouldn’t stay open.
- kelli (10/5): Wonderful stay and - Excellent location, comfortable room with beautiful sunset view, excellent breakfast, friendly staff Nothing
- Lori (10/5): Very fairly priced lovely stay - Clean, quiet, accessible, beautiful views, great breakfast, friendly staff, timely housekeeping, free open parking Absolutely nothing!
- Cory (10/5): -
- Liane (8/5): A very pleasant stay across the Lion's bridge. - The room was nicely decorated with a nautical theme-a little different from the chain hotels . The room was large enough for two without feeling cramped. The balcony was also spacious and had a great view looking back to St. Augustine. Nice large television, Kuerig and mini fridge. The breakfast was way above par for "breakfast included" and the ladies there were extremely friendly and efficient. The common outdoor area was really pretty as well. We did not use the spa pool. The entire property had a very put together well maintained look. We were given a little walk around on arrival to show us the key spots,. A nice touch. Our room was serviced daily which we are not finding as often in our travels but it was really nice to come back to after touring. There is also a fitness room and guest laundry. I saw the staff broom sweep daily and although it looked clean the floor was sticky and needed a mopping. The sulfur smell of the local water permeated the bathroom. It took us a while to figure it out, I I wouldn't say this is a fault of the hotel but it was off putting. We were supplied with bottled water daily so that helped. The mattresses could use an update. You can hear a little noise from the other rooms, which might bother a light sleeper. I wished that the restaurant offered plain yogurt and fruit.
- Delmartourist (8/5): Great place - could be cleaner - We had a lovely view of the marina and the bridge into St Augustine from our balcony. When we arrived - there was a nice "social hour" with complementary light appetizers and reasonably priced drinks. The complementary breakfast was good. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was small. I had specified that we needed non-feather pillow and unscented cleaning supplies -- neither of these were respected but we were able to open the balcony door to air out the room. The room was small with a comfortable bed. I would not say that it was clean -- floors were dirty and the shower needed a good scrubbing. Mostly it is a nice place, but for the money it should be super clean.
- Gerardo (10/5): -
- Seaside43720569559 (10/5): Five stars!!! Perfect location and excellent view - Everything about our stay at this hotel was excellent from start to finish. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The complementary breakfast was the best we have experienced in all our travels!
- Kelly (10/5): -
- Stuart (9/5): Fantastic location on the waterfront. - Fantastic location on the waterfront. Ample parking and friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent. Nothing
- Sunshine02103878226 (10/5): Wonderful stay. - Loved the hotel and location!!! Check in was quick and host was very helpful. Rooms are a little small but very comfortable. Beautiful view from balcony. Short walk across bridge to historic center. Harry’s restaurant is awesome! Only stayed 1 night, but We will be back.
- bevmS4823GG (10/5): Will stay again when we come back. - Love the location. It would be nice if the floor was mopped, pretty dirty. Breakfast and hors d'oeuvres were great. The room was well appointed.
- coitk (10/5): Perfect St Aug getaway - Great experience. Very clean, fully renovated, and walkable to everything. Delicious breakfast included too. We’ll be back.
- Maryanne (9/5): Wonderful stay - View was lovely. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was wonderful.
- Debra (9/5): -
- Joyce (8/5): -
- Eleanor (10/5): Staff truly helpful - Location comfort staff Slippery bathroom floors when wet
- Atilio (10/5): Excelente opción cerca de San Agustín - Buena ubicación, excelente vista, buen desayuno Caminar hasta san Agustín era un poco largo, pero las opciones en san Agustín eran más caras, compensa en ese sentido.
- Beth (10/5): Would definitely recommend this to friends visiting area. Watching the sunset over St. Augustine from your personal pat - Beautiful location, great staff, wonderful breakfasts
- George (10/5): -
- Brett (8/5): Great location and beautiful setting, comfortable stay - Beautiful setting, clean and comfortable -the servers and staff here were all very kind and helpful - front desk and cafe and housekeeping! The 5-6pm appetizers were a nice touch! Breakfast was fine for most people, but if you eat a healthful diet, it it’s not very appealing. I happen to be someone who is picky about food and coffee quality and it was not of highest standards. Again, adequate for most people. The servers and staff here were all very kind and helpful - front desk and cafe and housekeeping!
- Scott (9/5): -
- Diana (10/5): Relaxing & enjoyable - Location & friendly and helpful staff
- Jet23617737880 (10/5): Great vacation destination - Was an excellent location. Our room was clean and fresh. Soft bed. Polite staff. Loved sitting out on patio watching the sunset and boats on the river. Could easily walk the bridge of the lions to get into St.Augustine without driving. Breakfast was delicious and staff there was very friendly. Highly recommended this place.
- Raymond (10/5): - free gourmet breakfast served to your table by friendly staff, nice view of the marina as well. nice location close to historic district.
- Patricia (10/5): Our 3rd stay there and will definitely be back! - Convenient, clean, personal touch, great breakfast and happy hour. Great staff.
- Claudia (10/5): Excelente lugar para conocer y disfrutar St Auguostin - Limpieza, Ubicación y Atención Nada
- Rhoda (10/5): Fun in St Augustine - Right on the waterway, had a view of St Augustine the old city. Nothing, it was beautiful. Very close to walk to town.

- Vickers (8/5): - Great view and great breakfast

- Kathy (9/5): -

All with butter, no vegetables
- Marjorie (9/5): -
- Shelley (8/5): It's a pleasure to stay with these nice people. - Breakfast, closeness to restaurants and beach Hotel rooms are starting to look tired. Some upgrading would be nice.
- Michael (10/5): -
- craig (10/5): Great value and location. Great staff and service! - Great views and attention to details! Needed some outdoor music!
- B5448FVmichaelh (10/5): A wonderful experience. Was immaculate kept, wonderful staff and close to historic district. Won’t hesitate to book. - Spectacular location. Great views right on water.
- Bernadette (9/5): -
- Sylvie02 (10/5): -
- Pat (10/5): -
- Michael (9/5): We would come back and stay again. - View from balcony room excellent. Breakfast and breakfast staff exceptional, no waiting for table and prompt service. Waiting for elevator.
