The staff is exceptionally kind, welcoming and easy to communicate with!!!! It is very clean! In area, the office, our room and the pool was sparkling! My bed was AMAZING..... It was very comfortable! The pillows, you could definitely have the pillow of your liking- soft, fluffy, firm!.. The AC was PERFECT! This is not a complaint, watch out on the water, it gets hot-I love my showers HOT! It felt amazing! Be sure to take advantage of the breakfast! Texas waffles, fresh fruit, fresh breads, coffee, juices! The atmosphere was very inviting. The young man that was preparing was extremely attentive and very friendly!!!! It was quiet, comfortable and family friendly. It has a small refrigerator in the room. There is an HEB less than a mile, made it easier as far as snacks/food. I was in room 221. I Will be coming back. N/A

• Krista (6/5): Not worth the price. - The room proximity to main street was good. Enough out of the way to be relatively quiet at night. The room was pretty large with a full sitting area in addition to the sleeping area. Also, this is a dog friendly hotel, which is cool, but there were lot of dogs there - meaning dog noises. All I am saying is bring a sound machine. The amount I paid for this room was absolutely insane. Dated furniture, yes, but the fabric on the dated furniture looked like it had never been cleaned. The little half wall in the room was not properly secured. The bathroon was teeny tiny. The shower did not drain well. The breakfast they offer is up a set of stairs on the second floor, so this is an accessibility problem as there isnt an elevator.

• Nellie (4/5): Your staff could have been better - The location to downtown and the location to other reservations was perfect. There was a Continental breakfast that started at 8:30. It would have been nice if it was earlier. The air conditioner did not cool the room well The bed was very uncomfortable. It was very lumpy. Floors were sticky in the bathroom. The carpet also was sticky and there were thumb tacks in several spots of the room. When I went to the front desk to speak about issues there was no one there. We showed up 20 minutes early for breakfast(8:10) The door to the front was locked, we called the number on the door, and a gentleman came and told us that it didn't start till 8:30. He shut the door back and locked it back. (It was drizzling) It would have been nice if we could have waited inside.

• Glenda (2/5): - I liked the price and the location because my doctors office is just across the street. The manager was rude and very condescending, and the beds were hard as rocks. The manager has zero customer service skills. I paid in advance, and stayed there several times and never had to give them my credit card again (since room was already paid for) for incidentals in case I tear up the room. When I asked about this, the manager was extremely condescending, asking me if I could read. If the room was not already paid for, we would have left and I can tell you we won’t be back!!

• Dennis (1/5): STOP! Don't stay here!! - Not a thing The 2 rooms I reserved were filthy. In fact, the tub/shower unit was so filthy the white fiberglass was grey in one room and almost black in the other. The rooms had a sickly sweet odor from air "freshners" used in the room which is unhealthy and quite unpleasant. Baseboards have not been cleaned in Who kows when. The carpets are worn, dirty and sticky....this facility is gross...save your vacation and stay elsewhere. Booking.com should be ashamed for offering this listing.

• wallowadave (7/5): I'd stay here again. - It was a 'dated and tired' room - which is what I expected for the price. The value of the night's fee was good. Clean comfortable room, friendly staff. It was in an area with other motels - so was as 'safe' as they were. All I needed was an overnight stay - and this fit the need very well. Again, 'dated and tired.' There were cosmetic issues ... but all the comforts were perfectly fine for me.

Disappointed that there is only breakfast available on Sat and Sundays, but impressed that a small coffee maker had been added to the room since my last stay Staff should available for check-in and check out at least 10AM to 10PM, if not 24 hours like most hotels. Very limited office hours. Old, but being remodeled a room at a time it appears .Even the remodeled rooms could certainly use higher quality mattresses or good quality thick memory foam mattress toppers and updated smart TVs with streaming services (YouTube, Netflix, etc) for today's age.

• Fabian (1/5): Absolutely disgusting hotel with POS owner and customer service. - Nothing. This place is DISGUSTING. Roach infested motel and God awful staff and owner. This place needs to get shut down by the local health services. It is literally a health hazard. Owner and manager refused to give me a refund for not being able to stay at the hotel that was literally a hazard to me and my family. They called the police on my wife because she attempted to get a refund.

The essentials needed were there. The money was good for a place like this. The only negative thing I didn't like was the coffee machine wasn't working and I had to use the water from sink. There was no free breakfast at the place either. It was 3 blocks away.

For the money was good Bathroom needed work! Ceiling was damaged and bathroom fan was loud off and on when in use. Also a loud thump about every half hour or so seemed to be coming from the wall or refrigerator.

• Nadezhda (1/5): Misleading appearance, poor room conditions, and an overall disappointing experience. - The lobby and entrance area looked nice and well maintained. We booked this place in advance and paid $190 for two nights. After checking in, we were extremely disappointed. The room had dirty floors, a dirty microwave, and the final straw was hair in the bed. There was also an unpleasant smell in the room. The contrast between the nice-looking lobby and the actual condition of the room was very misleading. I went to the front desk to ask how this issue could be resolved. The staff member was very unemotional but did offer us a full refund, which I appreciate. However, he could not tell us when the refund would be processed, and we are still waiting. As a result, we found ourselves back on the street at 8:30 PM, urgently looking for another place to stay.
