• Allister (6/5): - The room was clean and cozy. The advertised services worked. However, at checking the front desk staff was very discourteous, to the extent that my mother and my daughter (the persons on vacation) had to request an apology after a 2 hour delay in check-in. They arrived 1 pm the stated check-in time, they were check-in after 3pm. The front desk offered no apology at the start of wait and was quite dismissive when this was pointed out. At the end of wait she grudgingly offered one after its absence was pointed out. My family I have stayed at this property on 3 occasions over the years. This lack of courtesy has cause me to reconsider future stays at this property.

• Trisha (10/5): - Sugarapple Inn is a hidden little gem. The only downsides are that there is no bar or restaurant so you have to self cater or go into town which is easy enough.
• Trifon (8/5): Quite Enjoyable - Nice calm , relaxing spot , enjoyed , although I would advise staff to make sure everything in rooms are working as they should such as electronics
• Suzanne (10/5): - The grounds and garden are very nice. The staff is super friendly, excellent customer service and very helpful. It's a quick walk to Friendship Bay beach and Bequia Beach Hotel via a path through the backyard gardens. Beautiful views of Friendship Bay from the hotel.

• shavy (8/5): - Property is beautiful, very clean and although there are other people around it gives you privacy. Important for me was the private kitchenette. I will definitely visit again, unfortunate my stay was cut short due to hurricane Beryl. My one downside was the mattress being a bit too soft for my back and the crackling sound of the bed. Otherwise, I highly recommend this place.

• Nadine (10/5): - From the moment that I drove up to the property I was impress. The staff was the icing on the cake not to mention the view. My night time swim in the pool looking up at the stars was breathtaking. I have stayed at many places and Sugarapple Inn is now one of my favorite. If I'm ever in Bequia again I will be there.
• Lily (8/5): - Overall, we had a great experience at Sugarapple Inn! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were spacious and nice. We especially loved having our own kitchenette. The pool was great and Friendship Bay beach (which is beautiful) is within a short walking distance. The dining area was also beautiful. Our one major knock is that the property is advertised as having "breakfast included". I don't know that this is a fair statement as the only included offerings were some coffee or tea, and toast with a few small pieces of fruit. If you wanted anything like eggs, or pancakes or anything a bit more substantial, you had to pay extra. This isn't advertised up front and given the cost to stay at the property, I think a more adequate breakfast should be provided. The woman in charge of breakfast also was on her phone constantly, often taking phone calls on speaker out loud, which was odd. Again, overall we really enjoyed out stay and would likely stay again but I was disappointed by the breakfast component.
• Christina (10/5): Best place on the island 🏝 - Absolutely LOVE this place and will definitely be back! Let me start off by saying that the staff are absolutely fantastic! By the end of my stay, I felt like I was staying with family. The ladies in the office were extremely friendly and pleasant. Checking in and out was simple and quick. The ladies were always quick to answer any questions and assist with taxi service or trips. Extremely welcoming 🙏 They have housekeeping once a day. The housekeeping did an amazing job and went above and beyond 👏 I actually had great conversations with them and they made me feel comfortable and at home. Breakfast is included which is usually coffee, tea and an assortment of breads. The woman in charge of breakfast was also very friendly. There is a small pool which was very refreshing. A short 5-10 min stroll to the beach, which I pretty much had to myself! A short stroll down the beach is The SandBar. A beach bar that has swings and obviously drinks & food. Lorincia is a fabulous bartender there, she'll make you feel like family! A total of 8 units, so a nice uncrowded atmosphere. Stove, refrigerator, table and chairs for self catering. Beach towels and beach chairs were provided. Air conditioning in the sleeping area. I never used the ac as the breeze was perfect at night with the shutters open. Mosquito netting provided (mosquitos actually weren't bad). Hot showers! If you have mobility issues you may want to know that this property is located on a hill and there are steps involved.

• Darrel (6/5): - Expedia said that breakfast was going to be served but for the days that I stayed breakfast was not served and no information was brought about as to whether or not breakfast was going to be provided so we had to then find a way to make breakfast .. the bed that we stayed on was also very noisy couldn’t go on or off the bed without there being a lot of noise. Besides those two things the stay was still good and I’d use again just would like the bedding and the breakfast to be sorted
• Rejo (10/5): - This is one of the very few hotels that i would like to go back...have stayed here multiple times over the years...if you are looking at a quite carribean stay..this is the place..the only downside is that you would have to take maxi van to go down to town or the Princess Margret beach but its just a short ride... PS: Carry stuff from Kingstown to cook..as very little is available locally
• stunna (8/5): - I liked when it came close to our check in time we were contacted to finalize our request for a port pick up, It wasn't a shuttle service but our host organized a taxi which was reasonably cheap to pick us up("big up" Ms Paulette taxi service) she was very much informative, kind and friendly. Upon our early arrival we were greeted with smiles and an excellent service, our host explained our room wasn't ready but she ensured we were comfortable while we wait and also gave us excellent tips and recommendations about the ins and outs of bequia. Overall experience from start to finish was excellent. I definitely would recommend SUGAR APPLE INN. By the way our host informed me that I'm the first Tobagonian to visit SUGAR APPLE " big up TOBAGO" Trinbago love in the house! 🇹🇹

• Asim (6/5): Clean & spacious but quite exotic & secluded - The host (Silla) is amazing and went out of her way to accommodate us. And although the property is well maintained and clean, the overall setup was a bit of a let down. It’s on a secluded beach far from town so not possible to walk to a restaurant or grovery store. You are pretty much confined to the cottage. Also the main rooms are air conditioned but the kitchen and lounge are not, and there are no screens on any of the open windows/door, so we experienced a lot of bugs/critters and returned with bug bites all over our bodies. Again, amazing hosts but property location and setup were a bit too exotic!

Breakfast is simple but delicious home made bread and cake also local fruits. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms spacious well equipped and a good size! They have a fridge with drinks etc in the office but as it’s sometimes closed an honesty bar would be a great idea and works well in other small hotels - excellent small hotel.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Where we stayed was located a short walk from the beach although they have cottages situated on the beach. It was a great room with a kitchenette. It was clean on arrival and once whilst we were there. I thought this was meant to be daily but perhaps the covid restrictions stopped this. I was worried about choosing this place due to the breakfast but it was brilliant. Staff were all professional and made any interaction with them a breeze. Lulu made amazing banana bread and coconut drops. Bequia has a lot of mosquitos when it rains so make sure you spray room out.

• Graham (8/5): Relaxing scuba vacation - Second visit this year for relaxation and scuba diving. Quiet and clean. Excellent service from Sila (admin), Lulu (breakfasts) and cleaning staff. Kitchenette helped avoiding daily restaurant meals with some "home cooking". Clean pool and tanning area. Short van or taxi ride to harbour/Front/town. Adequate number of TV channels for any desired quiet evenings.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - They contacted me before checkin to see if I needed transport. The walls are a bit thin, but sleep not a problem because of it. Fan made squeaking noise after being on for a while, but used ac instead. Ac really good. Soap bars a bit small but not a show stopper. All in all, I would recommend to others.

• Verified traveler (10/5): best inexpensive hotel overlooking Friendship bay - this is a quiet boutique sized hotel with recently refurbished rooms including ensuite and kitchen facilities. All the staff are fantastic and nothing is of any trouble. There is a complimentary continental style breakfast which can be upgraded to a variety with eggs and bacon cooked to ones liking. The breads, buns and jams are all locally made and delicious. This rates as a little gem as there is a good sized pool, open covered deck with easy chairs for relaxing and it's only a short walk down to the beach through the mango trees. Don't wish to elaborate too much as everyone will want to come and there won't be a room for ourselves in this bit of paradise.
