• Anthony (4/5): - The room itself was clean, and I liked the fact that it was a short-ish walk to the beach. On a hot day, the fans in the room simply did not substitute for the lack of an AC. That, and when we got there, we found out that our room (that we chose based on the photos) was swapped for an "upgrade" into a room that was less quaint and not what I was looking forward to.

• Timothy (9/5): Charming quaint lodge. - Very charming place. Great staff. Room was large, bed was comfortable AND a nice hot shower. Location is great. We walked to ”town” for diners and breakfasts. Would atay again. We had the Elm room, was not aware that there is a room above (it seems most rooms are in one story buildings). With vinyl flooring, every noise could be heard. Even a continental breakfast for the price paid would be nice.

My husband unfortunately bumped his head twice during our stay. The room layout combined with the ceiling height made it somewhat difficult to move around comfortably. Something to keep in mind, especially for taller guest
• Sophie (7/5): Cute, great location but no breakfast offered - The room was cute and had been modernised. Comfortable beds. Dog friendly. Close to the beach. It mentioned breakfast was included when I booked it but there was no offering of anything just coffee! Seems a shame places now scrimp and save on providing a pastry but still charge a lot for a room, it had a beautiful breakfast room which is sitting empty. Please don’t advertise breakfast if nothing is offered.

• Juanita (9/5): Incredible value in Carmel in a cute cottage - This hotel was so conveniently located near the village and beach. The staff was friendly and helpful. I didn’t ask for one, but received a room upgrade. First time that’s ever happened for me, and much appreciated! Parking can be a bit tight, but they showed me a space I could take for the night.

• Robinson (8/5): Beautiful and so cozy! - The property had such beautiful greenery, there are multiple areas to sit and enjoy the sun or have lunch. They also have multiple fountains around the property that you can hear from your room. Our room had a view of the ocean. There are a bit of stairs depending on your room, so if you are disabled or elderly it may be a bit difficult to navigate.

The view of first walking up to my room was extremely beautiful, the waterfalls, the landscape, and atmosphere was just perfect. The room was such a delightful experience, the fireplace in the room with the double doors going out to the patio I loved so much. Nothing. Everything was more than I expected.

• Jeanne (10/5): Great stay! - Room was spacious. The fans were turned on when we arrived. The room was a bit too warm, but with the door and windows open, it took an hour or so to cool to comfortable level. That helped so much as there was no Air conditioning. Microwave was in the room! Loved it and used it three times. Receptionist, Augustina, made us feel at home and couldn’t have been nicer. Great room! Great stay! Very comfortable! Thanks to all! All good!

• Lauriette (9/5): A Step Back In Time - It is so quaint and picturesque! The sound of bubbling fountains throughout the property is so relaxing! The only flaw i can think of is to clean the upholstery on some of the chairs.

• Leslie (6/5): - The property itself is well maintained and very pretty. Great location near the ocean. Our room had an ocean view which was lovely. The room size was also very nice. They had clearly remodeled the bathroom, and while it was nice decor, they had very awkwardly created a 18 x 12“ sink, much too small to use. There was not a single place to put anything in the bathroom, and the shower glass was something you would bump into when you walked into the room. Despite a nice attempt, it was a totally unfunctional bathroom. A bit strange given that the rest of the place was quite lovely.
• Karen (9/5): - Beautiful grounds and very comfortable large hotel room. The hotel is located very close to the wonderful beach in Carmel, and a short walk from all the shops and restaurants. The only downside for me was the walkways in between the buildings were not flat. There were lots of ups and downs and cracks in the sidewalks. There was not a lot of light at night so it was difficult to safely maneuver back to my room.

It gets tight when parking is full. There were some lights on all night, shining through shutters. Room was small than the pictures seemed to make it out to be. We had a baby which made it harder.

Для меня это было важно, для полноценного начала дня. К сожалению, во время нашего пребывания такой возможности уже не предоставляли. Были только напитки, но это не то, что я ожидала, исходя из отзывов, поэтому немного была разочарована. Все остальное без замечаний.

Хотелчето ни приюти в дъждовния следобед, стаята беше много уютна, чиста и удобна, центърът и прекрасният океан на крачка разстояние, почувствахме се като герои от приказка! • Natalie (10/5): Loved the Green Lantern! - Location was great! We walked a block to downtown! We were able to walk to dinner and all the shops! Staff were polite. The facilites were super clean and we got upgraded to an ocean view room! I would definitely stay here again :) Limited parking. That is the only thing I would complain about. I understand that Carmel is a small town but we were able to find parking for our one night stay at the inn! Everything else was perfect!

• Camilla (9/5): Cute clean little inn in the center of Carmel ! - Great location, free parking. Confortable beds, big room (even had a second bed on the top floor). Coffee available in the morning, microwave in the room. Would have stayed longer if we had the time ! Communication - maybe a little message to inform where the keys are located as we arrived late and couldn’t find the second door of the reception but only the back door (on the parking side).

Executive suite had no AC, Industrial laundry dryer exhaust but 6 steps from the sitting area. Charming furniture was more like broken furniture & the standing water in the morning shower. PS they should remove the piled up old furniture from the narrow space outside of the window next to the bed.
