The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming, and the food was very good quality. The private pool was beyond amazing, completely private, spacious, and surrounded by a beautiful seating area. The suite itself was excellent, and having a coffee machine in the room was such a nice touch. Overall, an unforgettable stay and we would definitely come back again.

C’est une petite structure idéale pour les amoureux Les transats sont bien espacées sur la plage Les chambres spacieuses Et la nourriture, excellente Bémol sur l’isolation des chambres, on entend beaucoup les voisins et la télé. 1 Plongée à 80€ sans bateau! Alors qu’à deux Hotel à côté les sorties bateaux pour deux plongée et repas compris sont à 62 € Prix du Taxi exorbitant à 75 $ alors que nous avons payé à peine dix euros en appelant un Taxi sur Internet C’est un hôtel qui mériterait d’être pour les adultes uniquement, et avec un agrandissement des parties communes. En effet, nous avons eu trois jours de vent à 60 km heures, baignade, impossible et interdites, alors qu’on pouvait se baigner dans les autres hôtels du Hurghada qui étaient à l’abri, et donc les gens s’agglutinant à la piscine au restaurant avec les enfants, or l’espace autour de la piscine est petite, la salle de restaurant est petite. La salle de sport est petite tout est un peu petit. Résultats, je ne me suis pas senti très bien dans cet hôtel alors que il pourrait être très bien

• Antonioni (9/5): Un séjour exceptionnel dans un cadre magnifique avec un service irréprochable. - Nous avons adoré notre séjour à The Oberoi Beach Resort, Sahl Hasheesh. Le cadre est splendide, calme et très élégant. Le personnel est exceptionnel : toujours souriant, attentionné et professionnel. Nous avions la formule petit déjeuner et dîner, et tout était excellent : cuisine variée, savoureuse et de grande qualité. Les suites sont confortables et l’ensemble de l’hôtel invite vraiment à la détente. Quelques détails mineurs : les lits peuvent être légèrement grinçants et l’équipement audiovisuel (télévision) mériterait d’être modernisé. Rien qui n’altère réellement la qualité du séjour.
• Andrew (10/5): Oberoi, nice hotel - Very nice hotel. Nice location with a private beach, about thirty minutes south of Hurghada. Staff are exceptional, especially the food and beverage team. Hotel building is quite compact and the resort is actually made up of villas. Happy we stayed here and not in hurghada which appeared jam packed with back to back resorts the size of small towns. If you don't buy the drinks package, you will likely be looking at a pricey bill for drinks. The individual prices for food and drink are expensive, so you need to really be on half board at least if you stay for longer than a few days.

The staff is exceptionally professional, all service is top class. Also the dining is excellent. Great diving center on site, also very professional and experienced. The property would benefit from a renovation.

De belles chambres, une cuisine raffinée et excellente (même si le service est parfois long) on conseille fortement la pension complète. Le ponton donne directement accès à une barrière de corail magnifique pour Snorkeling. On a même fait de la plongée avec le centre sur place. Un sans faute avec un personnel aux petits soins. Merci à toute l’équipe en particulier à Abanoub pour sa sympathie. On recommande! Restaurant excellent! Mais parfois service un peu long, on s’y habitue car la nourriture est top!
• Karin (8/5): Schöner Aufenthalt, man kann das Resort gut weiterempfehlen. Aussergewöhnlich ist die Höflichkeit und Nettigkeit des Per - Personal ist äusserst höflich und zuvorkommend. Alle machbaren Wünsche werden erfüllt. Housekeeping auch sehr nett, nur das richtige Putzen, wie z. B. Boden und Badezimmer, kommt ein bisschen zu kurz. WLAN ist nicht sehr stabil ausserhalb des Zimmers. Resort liegt sehr ausserhalb, immer Fahrer notwendig, um wegzukommen. Man kann Nachbarsuite gut hören, man könnte Verteilung der Suiten anders gestalten, da nicht alle besetzt sind.

The room was spotless and food options were magnificent. The staff truly made the difference. Everyone was extremely well trained, respectful, and friendly. The chef Pappu Singh personally came out to meet with us, and delivered an amazing mix of cuisine. Yousef Abo El Jod, and Adel were standout service stars. Also the team in the massage /spa center - one was from India name starts with “M” and other from Sudan were absolutely incredible and spoiled us with outstanding hospitality. The lifeguard and pool team, the housekeeping staff and even the gardeners and the manager of the sea equipment area were all wonderful. Please change nothing and compliment the staff for us. Nothing.

At the Pergola restaurant, Hossam was incredibly attentive, friendly, and always one step ahead—bringing us anything we needed without even asking. His hospitality really stood out. Mahmoud from housekeeping was always cheerful, professional, and made sure everything in our room was perfect. We would also like to thank Hazem at the restaurant, who was consistently welcoming and ensured that every detail was taken care of. A very special appreciation to the General Manager, Ahmed Nagy, who personally reached out via email to make sure everything was going well—this level of care is truly exceptional. Also, the guest relations team deserves recognition for checking in with us daily to ensure everything was perfect. A big thank you as well to the master chef, who went above and beyond to prepare my requested meal exactly as I expected—this attention to detail made a real difference. • Lionel Fontaine (7/5): Très bien et est au-dessus des autres - L'hôtel est au calme en bord de mer. Il est récent et est très bien entretenu, tant dans son infrastructure que dans les extérieurs. Les restaurants sont très agréables et proposent des produits de premières qualités. Les mets changent souvent et sont servis systématiquement avec un grand sourire de la part des collaborateurs. Les cadres sont très présents pendant les services, ils sont en contact avec les clients, ainsi ils peuvent ajuster ou rectifier ce qui doit être amélioré. Espace détente au bord de la piscine très agréable et d'une propreté impeccable. Nous sommes arrivés dans une période qui laisse penser que l'hôtel n'était pas prêt à avoir autant de client (c'est possible car avec les événements actuels, notre première destination qui était Dubaï a été annuélée) car les services étaient lents et parfois mal organisé. L'hôtel ne propose pas de service de navette pour l'aéroport. Les alentours de l'hôtel ne peuvent pas être considérés comme une possibilité de balade...:(

• Serdar Huseyin (10/5): Exceptionnal experience, good food, good service - It is a safe environment and very clean. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The private swimming pool was heated. The menu at the restaurant was changing each day, switching between Arabic, Asian, Indian and international. The music and ambiance were unforgettable. There were rocks at the shore, that requires to wear suitable swimming shoes if one wants to swim in the sea.

Architecture superbe toute en suites de plain pied, vastes( 85 m2), de très haut niveau face mer. Excellents restaurants avec nourriture de grande qualité servie par un personnel à l'affut de vos moindres désirs ( et surtout capable d'y répondre avec célérité et gentillesse). Et toujours cette impression d'etre seuls au monde dans ce vaste domaine de 19 ha magnifique de jour et superbe à la nuit tombée. Accés au tombant facile avec une faune coralienne abondante et bien sur superbe en simple snorkeling. • ianmN2656DS (10/5): Still the best - My wife and I have been going to the Oberoi at Sahl Hasheesh for about twenty years. I can honestly say that we have never regretted our decision to holiday there. The location and setout of the accommodation is such the hotel never seems busy and both the suites and grounds are very well maintained. The staff are outstanding with an excellent attitude being friendly, attentive and helpful. Nothing is too much bother from them. The food on the whole is excellent, particularly the breakfast. Both of the dinner menus (International and Indian) are very good with for me the highlights from the international A La Carte menu being the lamb shank and the pan seared prawns. For the first time we experienced a dinner buffet as an alternative to the A La Carte dinning. I have never had any great liking for any buffets when I usually find the food to be lukewarm at best and too often cold. This buffet at the Oberoi was no different with most the excellent food on offer often spoiled. That said there were still some outstanding offerings. The cream of chicken soup was simply superb, probably the best Ive ever tasted. The lamb carved off the bone was delicious and the roast chicken beautifully cooked. The potato wedges were outstanding but spoiled by being cold. As soon as I mentioned them to the cook they were taken away and freshly cooked (warm) wedges appeared. If you decided to have the buffet, a barbecued selection of meats was also available. The lamb chops straight from the grill were delicious. On the negative side the cost of drinks both soft and alcoholic at the Oberoi although reasonable, are make more expensive by taxes that can add another third onto the price. The cost of a hotel car into town is expensive at £45 one way. A Uber can be had for £20 both ways. A local taxi is even cheaper. The Oberoi at Sahl Hasheesh is an outstanding hotel made even better by its staff. The Oberoi is our chosen place to holiday. Hopefully we will get back there in June.
• RichardRJW (10/5): Five Star all the way! - All the five star reviews are totally justified. Immediately, on setting foot into the Oberoi reception, we realised we were in a special place. Every member of staff - reception, restaurant, house keeping - were very friendly and very helpful. The well-being and happiness of their guests, their top priority. The villas are spacious, well appointed and wonderfully comfortable, as are all the public areas. All meals can be taken either inside or in the open air. The excellent breakfasts are freshly cooked and served at the table. We tried the self-service buffet for one evening meal, but preferred the Zaafran à la carte restaurant where the food was delicious. The perfect spot for a totally relaxing stay on the Red Sea after the craziness of Cairo or Luxor.

• ErikAlison (10/5): Luxurious Resort on the Red Sea - Exquisite seclude resort on the Red Sea. Individual villas spread out along the property parallel to the waterfront. Oberoi quality throughout- very luxurious. Excellent breakfast and dinner included - lots of choice. Service is very friendly and efficient. Beautiful pool or lounge chairs on the private beach. Dive centre is very convenient for snorkeling or scuba diving. It is not close to much which was perfect for us - why leave this beautiful oasis! We hated to leave after three luxurious and relaxing days at the end of our itinerary. Highly recommended.

From the very first interaction with the reservations team to what I can confidently say was one of the best check-in experiences I’ve had, the level of professionalism and warmth was remarkable. The consistency across all departments—Food & Beverage, housekeeping, recreation, and even the executive chef—was beyond impressive. Every team member was helpful, attentive, and genuinely committed to delivering a personalized experience. What makes this hotel unique is how the staff treat you—not as a guest, but as a homeowner. That level of care reflects strong leadership, excellent training, and a deep-rooted culture of hospitality. The service consistency is rare and speaks volumes about the management behind it. It’s clear that there is great leadership guiding such an outstanding team. While I won’t go into detail about the architecture, it is truly a masterpiece and makes you curious about the designer behind it. The hotel is very well maintained; however, with some thoughtful renovations—without altering its core identity—it has the potential to become one of the best resorts in the region. I also appreciated how even minor comments were handled with great care and turned into opportunities to enhance the experience. This level of responsiveness makes a real difference and leaves a lasting impression. Finally, the diving experience was amazing—highly professional and very well organized.

The housekeeper knocked once, but we could not hear it at all because of the loud hairdryer. Without any response from us, the staff opened the door and entered the room anyway. My wife was fully naked, and this sudden intrusion was absolutely humiliating, terrifying, and deeply traumatic for both of us. This is not a small mistake. It is a complete breakdown of basic hotel safety and privacy rules. No warning, no respect, no care for guests’ dignity. We felt violated, vulnerable, and unsafe in a place that is supposed to be private and secure. This hotel has zero regard for guest safety and privacy. We will never come back, and we strongly warn every 我和妻子在房间内洗澡，全身赤裸。保洁只敲了一次门，我们因为吹风机声音很大，完全没有听见。 在没有得到任何回应的情况下，工作人员依然开门闯入。我妻子当时完全赤裸，这次突然闯入让我们感到极度羞辱、恐惧，身心受到严重伤害。 这不是小失误，而是酒店基本安全与隐私规则的彻底失效。没有尊重，没有底线，毫不在意客人的尊严。在本该安全私密的房间里，我们只感到被侵犯、无助和毫无安全感。 这家酒店完全不重视客人安全与隐私。我们绝不会再来，也强烈警告所有人不要入住。
• AnnOfCourse (10/5): Fantastic stay – great food, very kind staff, beautiful grounds and a suite perfect to unwind - I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing place to unwind. From the moment I arrived, I felt very welcome. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive and created a very pleasant atmosphere throughout the resort. The food was excellent with great quality and variety, and it was clear that a lot of care goes into the preparation. The entire property is beautifully maintained and creates a calm and relaxing environment. My suite was another highlight, offering plenty of privacy and the perfect place to relax and recharge. Overall, a fantastic stay with wonderful hospitality.

• 87PaulL (10/5): An excellent holiday at the Oberoi Hotel - An excellent one week holiday at the Oberoi hotel. We went for a suite with private pool and the half board plus option. The room was lovely with a relaxing patio area and the private pool helped us to work off some of the calories gained from eating the excellent food served in the hotels restaurants. The biggest positive at the Oberoi are the staff who are collectively friendly and welcoming and make each conversation a happy one. A special call-out to Kamal our room attendant who brought a massive smile and huge energy with him every day, brightening our mornings. Would highly recommend the Oberoi and we are already planning our next visit.

• R1802 (10/5): Oberoi a number one choice for discerning guests - We are nearing the end of our holiday at this beautiful resort. We were told by our taxi driver it was the best hotel in Hurghada and we have been delighted in every aspect of our stay. The suites with private gardens, sunken baths and traditionally appointed fittings are a joy to stay in. The staff cannot do enough for you and the food , all beautifully executed. It was like eating in a Michelin star restaurant each night. Whilst we loved Four Seasons Sharm last Winter the Oberoi is our new favourite Winter destination. • Lars (10/5): Sehr gehobener Standard, wunderschöne Lage und Top-Ausstattung - Ein Grand Hotel wie man es nur selten findet. Die Anlage ist wunderschön, das Personal ist unglaublich aufmerksam und das Hausriff ist in einem tollen Zustand. Wir hatten eine der Villen am Strand und waren von Ausstattung, Zustand, Sauberkeit und Lage mehr als nur beeindruckt. Das Personal ist extrem aufmerksam. Besonders positiv war auch das Tauchcenter hervorzuheben. Der Dive Instructor Ali hat unserem Sohn das Tauchen so richtig schmackhaft gemacht und das Team hat sich super professionell um ihn als Tauchanfänger gekümmert! Nichts, wir waren allerdings nur 4 Tage dort und ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass irgendwann das Frühstücksbuffet etwas mehr Abwechslung vertragen könnte. Man muss sich auf Wind einstellen - wie überall in Hurghada.

It did not disappoint, everything from the very attentive, discreet service, the beautiful rooms and the world class food meant this was a true Oberoi experience. We really enjoyed the entertainment in the restaurants , and the food selection and quality was exceptional. • TP_Travel_Chronicles (10/5): Where Every Window is a Painting, Every Staff Member is a Star, and the Diving is World-Class - We chose The Oberoi Sahl Hasheesh for our 25th anniversary, and it was the best decision we could have made. Accommodations & Location: The resort sits on a stunning stretch of turquoise water. The architecture is brilliant; the suites are arranged so that the views through the windows look like curated landscape paintings. Even if the hotel was fairly booked, it never felt crowded, was quiet and the only thing you could hear is the breeze and ocean waves :) World-Class Diving: If you are a fan of the water, this is the place. Our son did a dive that started right from the resort pier. The reef is beautiful and the diving team is truly world-class. It was the perfect, high-quality experience we were looking for, all without having to leave the resort grounds. Exceptional Hospitality: If the location is a 10, the staff is a 10+. We want to personally thank Mr. Nagy and Mr. Maher from management for reaching out and overseeing our stay so thoughtfully. Our daily experience was elevated by: Chef Nabendu, whose culinary talent is evident in every bite. Khalil at the breakfast cafe, who started our mornings perfectly. Hisham and Mai at Zaafran, for their warmth and professional service. Shabaan at the front desk and Morilyn, who ensured every logistical need was met with a smile. The housekeeping team, who were amazing and kept everything spotless. There were so many others on the staff who went above and beyond, and its my bad that I do not remember all of their names. The Culinary Journey: The food was a highlight. With a mix of Indian, Arabic, and International dishes, we were never bored. While the buffet is great, do not miss the a-la-carte breakfast items! The Dosa and Aloo Paratha were authentic and delicious, and the Egyptian Falafel Sandwich was the best we had on our trip. Thank you to the entire Oberoi team for treating our anniversary with such respect and heart. We cannot wait to return.
