- Dodge (8/5): BW Sandy - The pool was open 24hrs, which was great. My kids had a rough day, and playing in the pool as a family was a great way to save the day! Breakfast was also awesome! Bacon, eggs, waffles, bagels, all sorts or stuff included in our stay! Our bathroom had a small smear of something on the floor.(suspicious, smaller than a dime size) We checked in at 9pm. Otherwise great stay.

Three types of juices, omelet, bacon, potatoes slices, two types of waffles, and quality coffee. We normally don't leave home for breakfast. but I was very happy with what was available to choose from.

- Jared (2/5): Look for somewhere else to stay. - Bookings.com booked my stay for $682. Best Western charged me $758. They also would not refund my fourth night when I tried to cancel at check in. They told me I had to contact bookings.com which I did with no response. So I got charged an $75 dollars and was not credited for the 4th night I didn't stay. Terrible customer service all the way around.

When I arrived at the hotel the staff told me that I could have two double queen rooms. And then asked if I wanted them together. - Thomas (6/5): - The room was as expected, clean with a king sized bed. We were very frustrated with the Direct TV in the room. It buffered randomly, so we could not watch any TV, really. We told the front desk about it on our first night of two, she said that she would send someone up to have a look. No one came that night. Told the front desk about it the next morning. They re-booted the Direct TV system, but it continued to buffer randomly. Surely the management knows they have a TV reception issue. We would not stay in this hotel again.

- Terry (2/5): - Old patched up facility with poor sheet rocking and paint, especially in bathroom. Inadequate wall and ceiling insulation, as noise from inside, upstairs and outside was awful. Door did not close properly. Pricing was outrageous for such a mediocre place. Breakfast was the typical cheap unhealthy American diet, but that is pretty common at most hotels in the US.

Breakfast had good options for everyone in our group. Unfortunately the hot tub water was not being heated. We were informed the pool heat pump was temporarily out of service, but was assured the hot tub worked. Not the case. Overall good hotel experience

Also our room faced the high school football field pretty noisy football games at night and weekends. Didn’t like that they didn’t have elevators and our room faced a high school football field so it got loud.

The employees were very attentive, friendly and competent. The breakfast was okay! We missed the shower at the pool/spa area. There were no hooks in the bathroom and no elevator. The A/C is very loud and blowing directly in your face when you are in bed. When you want to sleep, you have to switch it off. The price/performance relationship is to high, in other words, it's too expensive!

- BevB (8/5): Convenient location for activities in the Sandy area with friendly staff and basic accommodations. - The hotel is located at the back of a shopping center just off the freeway. It was convenient for events we were attending in the Sandy area. The breakfast was good - with hot eggs, sausage & potatoes and the tasty make-your-own waffles! There's no elevator, so lugging belongings to the 2nd floor is a bit challenging. If you have mobility issues, request a 1st-floor room. Also, we didn't like the vinyl covering on the sofa seat - uncomfortable when wearing shorts.

- Robin (10/5): - My high school chum and I were doing a reunion road trip and stayed at the BW in Sandy, Oregon for one night. Rosa and Ryan checked us in. They greeted us warmly and professionally. Rosa was genuinely interested in helping us. Ryan helped us with an AC problem. We were cool in no time. Nathan, who was on the night desk, offered to take our picture when we three returned from dinner when he saw that a selfie wasn’t going to be the best choice. Nathan asked if there was anything he could do to make our stay pleasant. Breakfast was tasty! The offering gave us lots from which to choose. We enjoyed the omelets, fresh orange, waffles with marion berry syrup and whipped cream, bacon and coffee. This was my second time at the BW Sandy and was pleased again. Thank you Rosa, Ryan, and Nathan.

- Kristin (4/5): - It says no smoking and no pets but you walk in and all the rooms and halls smell like smoke. There were numerous people walking their dogs inside which were not service animals. We had handed our used towels to housekeeping on our way out. That night we asked the front desk for towels for showering and were told if we don’t have towels to trade in they’d we get no towels. I explained the above and she just stared at me. I asked how she expects me to dry myself and kids without towels. She begrudgingly gave us towels. There was a domestic altercation happening in the lobby when we arrived. The manager just stood there like nothing was happening when there was shoving, yelling, crying and doors being slammed. It left me and my family feeling unsafe and stuck. That night there was screaming and fighting upstairs that continued and prevented us from falling asleep. We did call the front desk. I would HIGHLY Discourage anyone from staying here. Very disappointed in our two night stay.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Light sleepers be warned. - Huge party in the room next to us with loud music and people lined down the hallway to get in shouting and laughing. We knew we were in trouble when we heard someone yell, who wants shots! Don’t know why this wasn’t addressed without my wife needing to go to the front desk. Embarrassing. by the time all the people cleared out and quieted down it was past 1am. How 30-40 people, that loud with booze bottles could get away with this in a small hotel is perplexing. I guess the policy here is let it ride until a guest complains. If you want to sleep check in somewhere else. There is absolutely no noise barrier between the hall and the rooms, you can hear everything from a whisper on up. P.s the coffee in the lobby.. ice cold at 6:00am, thanks for that as well. Breakfast finally opened at 7 so we could get coffee but nothing to drink for the kid, juice machines were not working..

- Amanda (9/5): We had a great stay and the staff were really nice - Taylor did an excellent job of helping out our group. We were a group of 16 with a lot of kids and he helped with DVD players, questions, extra blankets etc
- Ashley (10/5): Exceptional - Staff was SUPERB! Shout out to Taylor!! He made our stay so much better. He was helpful, friendly, and professional. Give that man a raise!!! Hmm, what didn't I like? ..... Good question.
