• Peterson (9/5): We loved our stay and it was so nice to have a subway restaurant nearby - I like the hardwood floor. The shower is easy to use. The towels were nice. It was good to have a coffee machine. And we liked the desk. It would be good to have a curtain in the bathroom so you could open the window without people staring in. It would be nice to have a light in the shower too. The faucet in the bathroom sink sink didn’t work too well. It put out hot water, but it was hard to get cold.

• Dale (9/5): A good overnight stay - On the main drag , Siskiyou, a bit south and still walkable to downtown The rooms are renovated. Now some work on the landscaping would be nice and they could compete with the motel just to the north.

Only complaint was couldn’t figure out how to easily search channels and find the menu on the TV. Maybe some instructions for the TV should be in the rooms. Would stay there again!:)

• Laura (10/5): A wonderful surprise! 😍 - Such a wonderful surprise to pay so little and receive so much!! The staff waited for me to arrive 15 min past closing time, the rooms were very well appointed with everything I look for, including extra clean, a “good enough” mattress( it was firm :) and coffee at the ready. The shower was extra special and seemed brand new.

Ashland Motel was convenient & clean. - The hotel is a few block walk to the SOU dormitories - on same side of Siskiyou Blvd. The room was clean. The Staff were helpful. Environment was quiet. No food on site. The pool is in the middle of the parking lot.

Check-in staff gave decent restaurant recommendation but incorrect highway directions.

• Medlar (9/5): Nice room in safe location and fairly priced. - The room was very clean and had been well cared for. I discovered the toilet seat was broken and reported it to the office; by the time we got back from dinner it was fixed. There was plenty of parking and the surroundings were clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. There is an onsite laundry for guests which we did not use. The one thing lacking was "charm", which my wife mentioned several times in conversations with others. Other than that it was good.

• Deborah (4/5): - The motel was listed on the website as 0.5 miles from downtown. It was 1.5 miles in actuality. The AC was one of those window type units. While it was effective it was very loud and made it hard to sleep. On the plus side- everything was very clean I felt very safe traveling alone Beds were comfortable.

Great keurig coffeemaker Great breakfast place next door The grounds are very drab with not a plant in sight Pool is very unappealing in the middle of a parking lot with a hurricane fence around it. Ac worked well but a bit noisy.

I wish the pool was open longer and earlier as it was 107 and hot, but it closed at 8 and we had a dinner to attend. There should also be a fan in the bathroom.

• Patrick (4/5): - At first room was clean and fridge was cold. The room was much smaller than the picture portrayed. This made the room a bit cramped. We stayed for 5 nights and only got partial maid service once. All the service provided was clean towels and emptied trash. When using the pool just plan to take a quick dip. Not a kid friendly pool. Internet access was ok and television was outdated with only providing basic cable with a remote that worked some of the time.
• Rhett (8/5): Nice place to stay close to downtown. - Great Location. It is about a 15 or 20 minute walk to the downtown area. We stayed here and went to a play at the Shakespeare festival. It was clean and had AC. The shower was really nice. Everything was as expected. The room was a bit small, barely fit two full beds.

• Rachel (10/5): Comfortable lodging in Ashland for a good price - The previous motel has been completely rehabilitated and improved on! Modern rooms and furniture, comfortable bed. The pool has been renovated and new patio furniture. Very close to Southern Oregon University. It is about 1.3 miles to downtown Ashland, near the shopping and theaters, so a car is probably needed.

Rooms are clean. Property appears to be run by a family couple. Noisy AC, though no worse than many more expensive rooms. Bare parking lot, very hot in summer.

• Thalia (8/5): Pleasantly surprised - Super place for the price - comfortable bed and pleasant atmosphere - the pool was clean and refreshing - the only negative is that there is no ice machine which for us, road tripping and motel hopping, is an essential.

• Tom (7/5): We loved Ashland and the Morning Glory Restaurant. - No Breakfast included The ceiling in room 110 is substandard at approximately 7 feet tall. I hit my hands on the ceiling removing a teeshirt. Room 110 is claustrophobic.

• Kathleen (7/5): Would stay again no hesitation! - Bed was very comfy and plenty of pillows. Lots of towels, clean mini-fridge and overall a quiet night! Housekeeping could help the investment with wiping down baseboards that look dirty as well as dower doors. Picnic tables outside desperately need sanding and repainting. Would be a nice place to sit and enjoy the evening.

• Colleen (1/5): I did not stay there - I Despite pre-paying for the room, I did not actually stay at the hotel as I have mobility issues due to a leg brace and cane. The room they offered me was not accessible as it had stairs and no railings. Apparently there were other rooms available without stairs, but I was not offered them. Or was offered but at a higher price. I was not clear from my conversation with the staff member at the desk. I think this Motel is being updated and it has great potential, but right now it is, from the exterior, funky and not welcoming.

• 410jenniev (10/5): Couldn’t ask for more! - Great value, great location. We needed a place in Ashland while our VRBO guests finished their stay. My adult son strongly preferred his own room over the 2-queen room I found at Plaza In & Suites at Ashland Creek. Turned out two King rooms were actually cheaper! This is a true motel, with no inner corridors and no elevator. But the room was very nice, and came with a medium-sized fridge that worked well, and a microwave that we didn’t use. The bed was a bit high to get onto, but comfy & with plenty of pillows. The huge TV is mounted on the wall with an adjustable bracket, which was handy when we wanted to watch a movie on a laptop. Checkin is 6-10pm firm; there is no night-owl checkin. WiFi was strong. Checkout was easy. Best part: this place is right next door to the Morning Glory Cafe, which is a spectacular breakfast place. Try it!
